Did Andrew Cuomo run the “worst front runner campaign” ever? Will hand the keys to the city to a 33-year-old socialist tomorrow after months of leading in the polls?
Zohran Mamdani’s meteoric rise in the polls is sending shockwaves through Cuomo’s campaign and the city. New York Magazine columnist Ross Barkan, who has been covering the campaign, joins the Tara Palmeri Show to unpack this high-stakes showdown. 'This is the greatest contrast between two top campaigns I have seen in a long time if not ever' Barkan says, as socialist, pro-Palestine Mamdani challenges establishment heavyweight Cuomo. Could Mamdani become the next AOC? Is his bold vision what New York needs, or is this just a fleeting moment of fame?
Will Mamdani’s star keep rising, or is Cuomo’s reign unstoppable?
