Speaker 1: From the wild world of DC politics to America's culture clash, brace yourself for the reality check you've been waiting for. The one and only Mike Gallagher.
00:00:23
Speaker 2: It cracks me up to see all the smart kids trying to speculate over what's going to happen in A week from today, I'm reading online Fox News Digital, their analysis here. The Senate is a toss-up. Voters could give Democrats a majority and maybe with several seats to spare. They could also let the Republicans keep control. Well, that's some brilliant analysis right there. Yep, Democrats could win. Republicans could win. I wish the weatherman would say that tonight on the evening news. It's going to rain or maybe it's not going to rain. It could rain, but then it maybe couldn't rain. Don't know. If we show up, we win. Go to the polls. Bring your friends, your family. We win. Show up. Wipe the smug smile off these sanctimonious dolts. That is actually analysis at foxnews.com. The road to a Senate majority goes through several states that Trump won by 11 points or more. Democrats can win any of these races. If Republicans turn out and stay loyal to their party, the climb for the left will be steep. That's why the Senate is a toss-up. Voters could give Democrats a majority, maybe with several seats to spare. They could also let the Republicans keep control. Okay. So, in other words, you just don't know, do you? Nobody knows anything. Until we do our duty and show up. We can't afford any mistakes. They're making mistakes left and right. How about mocking people who go to the Cheesecake Factory? Barack Obama had a perhaps basket of deplorables moment. Obama was on the stump for Democrats in Ohio. And at a rally in Cleveland, he thought it would be cute to make a joke about all of the renovations that Trump has directed at the White House. Now, here's Obama. And I admit, it's kind of clever. It's kind of funny. Until you think about the seriousness of the way the White House has... gone to seed over the last 100 years or more. Check out what Obama said about Trump's restorations that have taken place at the White House. I don't know if.
00:03:05
Speaker 3: You've noticed, but he seems very focused on home renovations.
00:03:11
Speaker 2: He should be on HGTV.
00:03:13
Speaker 3: Guys building a ballroom that's bigger than the White House.
00:03:20
Speaker 1: Paved over the.
00:03:21
Speaker 3: Rose Garden, put a helicopter pad on the South Lawn, and there's gold everywhere.
00:03:27
Speaker 2: What's up with.
00:03:31
Speaker 3: The gold? Everything, more gold. He's got the white ass looking like Saddam Hussein opened.
00:03:37
Speaker 2: A cheesecake factory. Okay, so funny, you know, ha-ha, right? Until Americans, like ordinary, hardworking, taxpaying, law-abiding citizens who love the Cheesecake Factory, hear that and they say, wait a minute, is he making fun of us because we look forward to going to the Cheesecake Factory? Is it schlocky? Is the Cheesecake Factory schlocky and tacky? Americans, like normal Americans, who don't live in a gazillion-dollar mansion on Martha's Vineyard, Love the Cheesecake Factory. And a guy like Barack Obama has absolutely no ability to connect or relate to any of the deplorables who would go to the Cheesecake Factory. Trump gave an explanation on the lawn of the White House about what he's been doing. And he's a builder. He's a builder. If you've ever stayed at a Trump hotel... well, it's a hotel worthy of Barack and Michelle Obama's tastes. The man is a classic builder. And if you're watching right now on Salem News Channel, Gunther Eagleman, one of my favorite ex-accounts, posted what the White House looks like today. Every blade of grass is perfect. Old glory on top. The presidential seal You know, that helicopter pad that Obama is mocking? It's beautiful. The giant presidential seal is front and center, prominently displayed outside the White House. This is what it looks like when a builder lives there. And Obama mocks the whole process and taunts this builder president who's done so much to restore and renovate The people's house. My friend Mark Davis kind of scoffed at my point and my reaction. He didn't see this. He doesn't see this as that big a deal. I think it's a very big deal. I think it's a very big deal. It might just be another basket of deplorables moment by the hapless Democrats. What do you think?
00:06:10
Speaker 3: 800-655-MIKE.
00:06:14
Speaker 2: 800-655-6453. Happy Tuesday, October 27th, 2026. Give me a lot of calls today. I'm a little under the weather. I think I'm reacting to my Repatha shot. I'm getting this new shot every two weeks to get my LDL way down and hopefully get this plaque, coronary artery stuff under control. And I feel like I've got a little upper respiratory thing going on. And then I read somewhere that that's apparently a pretty typical thing. side effect of this Repatha shot, so that's probably what I'm feeling. So I need your help. I want a lot of voices here, because you know me. This is a caller-driven show. I don't love talking to talking heads as much as I love talking to the American people. With your voice, your call, your perspective.
00:06:59
Speaker 3: 800-655-MIKE.
00:06:59
Speaker 2: She's got my news.
00:07:10
Speaker 4: Oh, and.
00:07:14
Speaker 2: I get high.
00:07:23
Speaker 1: From the wild world of D.C. politics to America's culture clash, brace yourself for the reality check you've been waiting for. The one and only Mike Gallagher.
00:07:36
Speaker 2: Every good parent knows the value of tough love. Sometimes you got to be tough. Sometimes you got to be a little edgy with your kids. I'm going to exhibit a little bit of tough love today for America, for Americans who are considering staying home and not voting next week. for Americans who are deciding to write names in, to do a write-in ballot campaign because you're upset at the way the primary turned out. I want to talk about my beloved South Carolina for just a moment. I like and respect Congressman Ralph Norman a lot. He was expected to be the Republican nominee for Senate in South Carolina. It's a very important state. Polls are showing that Darlene Graham Nordone and Annie Andrews, Dr. Annie Andrews are neck and neck, and that she could take the Senate seat. And Ralph Norman and his supporters aren't exactly helping the cause. According to Politico, Ralph Norman is under pressure from fellow South Carolinians to campaign for Darling. Congressman Russell Fry says that Ralph should be doing more. to help Darlene win election to a full term in the Senate. And you know the story by now. Lindsey Graham unexpectedly dies. His sister was expected to be the kind of placeholder. She was appointed to fill out the rest of the term or the year. And then suddenly, almost inexplicably, she became the full-term Senate candidate. And it infuriated a lot of people. People were hurt by that. And so, you know, Ralph Norman squared off against Darlene in the primary, and Darlene won. Okay, she's the nominee. Well, so you've got to support her. You can't make any mistakes. We can't have any self-inflicted wounds here. South Carolina cannot be represented by a radical activist late named Annie Andrews. Tara Servatius, the morning show host on 98.9 WORD, posted on X earlier, last night I asked Ralph Norman if he would campaign for Darlene in the Senate race in South Carolina. He said no. No, he's not going to apparently try to help her. Now, again, this is under the mantle of some tough love because I really do like Ralph Norman. I appreciate him. He would have been a great senator. Look, it's no secret I wanted him to win. I traveled to Rock Hill. broadcast the show from the studios of WRHI, interviewed Ralph in person, he would have been a magnificent senator. But the voters didn't pick him. The voters selected and voted for and elected Darlene. We can't afford self-inflicted wounds. This is a big one. And I, again, would respectfully and lovingly say to Ralph Norman and his family, you can't help Annie Andrews get elected. Now, Ralph is on record as saying, sure, vote for Darling. Ralph has said, I believe, don't write my name in. But isn't it true that Ralph.
00:11:38
Speaker 2: Should be doing everything he can to help get her elected and to defeat this radical far-left activist, Dr. Annie Andrews? Having a radical activist senator represent South Carolina in the seat that Lindsey Graham held all these years is unimaginable to me. It's unthinkable. It's inconceivable. And I would think that Ralph Norman, who I know loves South Carolina and loves America, would want to campaign for her. Trump is going to Rock Hill. Now, that's in and of itself an interesting decision. Maybe he's trying to sort of send a message because Ralph is from Rock Hill. But Ralph Norman ought to be on that stage with President Trump endorsing Darlene. Anything short of that is a mistake. Too many Republicans want to throw a little hissy fit and temper tantrum because a primary didn't go their way. I remember when Ted Cruz and Donald Trump were involved in a messy, nasty back and forth. Lindsey Graham, same thing. Marco Rubio, same thing. J.D.
00:13:06
Speaker 5: Vance.
00:13:07
Speaker 2: All these guys at one time said awful things about Trump. And now they are the biggest advocates for the Trump administration and his agenda and him in the country. You know why? Because they put their country ahead of their own petulance. They put the nation ahead of everything. Put the country first. And it hurts me to say this because of how much I like Ralph Norman. It doesn't feel like he's putting... the country ahead of his own disappointment that the primary voters picked Darlene instead of him. Now, look, I want you to call me, and I want you to disagree with me if you do. It's okay. Let's have a good, frank, difficult conversation. We are one week away. It's the same thing that's going on in Texas. Same problem with John Cornyn. He's hurt. that he didn't win. He's like Tom Tillis. Not as bad as Tillis, but pretty close. And Cornyn isn't doing everything he can to help Ken Paxton get elected. And again, I find this disgraceful for these Republicans to have a hand in letting radicals like James Tallarico or Annie Andrews get elected. 800-655-MIKE is our number here in the Relief Factor studios. The countdown is on. We are one week away. If you're early vote, look, some scary news out of Florida. No, I mean, not awful, but according to Axios, Democrats have edged Republicans in mail-in ballots just by a percentage point. Now, traditionally, older Floridians and Republicans tend to show up on Election Day or on early voting, not mail-in ballots. Democrats love their mail-in ballots. And people who are much more politically activist in nature tend to mail in their ballots reportedly. So we'll see what happens there. But we've got work to do. And I mean it. I don't mind giving you a little tough love today. You better show up or we're going to lose this country. If you show up, we win. Is Ralph Norman making a big mistake? in South Carolina? Is John Cornyn blowing it in the state of Texas? Do these Republicans need to get over themselves, shake themselves, dust themselves off, climb up on the horse, and advocate for the Republican nominee or not? 800-655-MIKE. Join us.
00:15:56
Speaker 1: Waiting for the break of day.
00:16:01
Speaker 4: Searching for something to.
00:16:05
Speaker 1: Say The Mike Gallagher Show in the ReliefFactor.com studios.
00:16:26
Speaker 2: I keep joking around about how I'm a regular guy. I am. I'm kind of your everyman. I'm a regular guy, and I love taking Balance of Nature's Fiber and Spice. Get it? These statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. All right, off to your phone calls. Let's talk a little bit. I hear the text messages blowing up today. South Carolina says, after all the negative ads, darling Darlene ran against Ralph and the crap she said about him, she's lucky Ralph isn't actively trashing her in return. Oh, okay. Well, good. Senator Annie Andrews, got a good ring to it? Text her. You want to go back and look at J.D. Vance calling Trump Hitler? Marco Rubio going after Trump? Two of the most valuable members today in the Trump administration. A lot of things are said in campaign ads. I get it. I mean, I get the hurt feelings. You got to get over yourself here. Pretty common sense text from Illinois. Bob writes, this is why they call us the stupid party. It's like we go looking for these problems. It shouldn't be hard for Ralph Norman to be on that stage with President Trump. When is that rally? Can somebody find that out for me? I can't get a hold of Joey. Joey's in one of his, Joey's in the cave. Joey's in the bat cave planning his next venture. I think it's Thursday night. But if somebody can text me and tell me when President Trump is coming to Rock Hill to campaign for Darlene, let me know. 800-655-MIKE is the text number. Please never text and drive. Standard text messaging rates may apply. 800-655-6453. Ralph ought to be on that stage. And President Trump and Darlene and Ralph Norman ought to present a unified front in order to defeat this radical socialist, Marxist, leftist, Annie Andrews. Period. End of sentence. Mary Ann's in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Hi, Mary Ann.
00:19:31
Speaker 6: Hi, Mike. How are you today?
00:19:33
Speaker 4: I'm great.
00:19:33
Speaker 2: How are you doing today, Mary Ann?
00:19:36
Speaker 6: I'm doing great. I am calling. I am one of those South Carolinians that voted for Ralph Norman. I didn't like the idea of Darlene going in, but Ralph Norman... now is doing South Carolina a big disgrace. We've got to get in there and get all Republicans in there. So I'm going to go to the polls on the 3rd and hold my nose and vote for Darlene.
00:20:06
Speaker 2: I got it. All right, Marianne. Appreciate it. Dave in Columbia, South Carolina. Hello, Dave. Dave, you there?
00:20:14
Speaker 7: Hello, Mike.
00:20:15
Speaker 2: Hi, Dave.
00:20:15
Speaker 3: Mike.
00:20:16
Speaker 2: Yep.
00:20:17
Speaker 7: Hey, I'm in Rock Hill, Mike.
00:20:19
Speaker 2: Gotcha. Welcome to the show. When is Trump coming? Do you know?
00:20:23
Speaker 7: I don't know. I mean, I do know, but I forgot when the date's where I have it marked down, but I don't have my paper with me. And first of all, I love your show. I've been trying and trying and trying to get on. And I just want to tell Ralph Norman, I voted for you, but shame on you. Shame on you.
00:20:40
Speaker 2: You got it. You got to do the right thing.
00:20:43
Speaker 7: We have to do the right thing because if we don't, we're going to let them slip through the doors on us. And what an example he's setting, right? Terrible, terrible.
00:20:51
Speaker 2: Can I ask you a question? And you and I are on the same page here. Let me ask you something. Do you think he, and I don't want to say this about a guy I admire. I really like Ralph a lot. Do you think he wants Annie Andrews to win to punish the voters of South Carolina?
00:21:06
Speaker 7: You know, I don't know, Mike. I think his pride stepped in front of his sensibilities.
00:21:12
Speaker 2: Maybe so. Thanks, Dave, for your kind words. 24 past the hour. Yes, it is Thursday night. Thursday and, I believe, a.m.? Yasmin, is that correct? 9 a.m.? Is he going to be there? Oh, the door is open at 9 a.m. Yeah, the rally is going to be Thursday, though. Open line now.
00:21:33
Speaker 5: 800.
00:21:34
Speaker 2: And look, if you think we're all wrong here in urging Ralph to get on board... With Darlene, please let me know. Make the case. I mean, it's actually kind of incredible to me that John Cornyn isn't willing to do anything he can to help the Republican nominee get elected. And you know what always amazes me when people go down this road? It's not the candidate, it's the voters you're punishing. You're mad if you're a Ralph Norman fan and supporter, and I am, incidentally. You're mad that the primary voters picked Darlene. It's like the old joke about Ed Koch, the former, the late mayor of New York, colorful Democrat. He lost one election one year, and he said the voters have spoken, and now the voters must be punished. That's the attitude of these folks who aren't doing everything they can to get Darlene over the finish line Angie's in Greenville South Carolina hello Angie how are you.
00:22:40
Speaker 4: Mike you're totally wrong I'm one of those that just disagree with you from the very beginning.
00:22:46
Speaker 7: Good good good let's talk about it okay.
00:22:48
Speaker 4: Okay let's talk about this okay I'm from Greenville your favorite state of uh I mean uh city of Greenville But listen, I think you're wrong. And the reason why is because when Norman was running, Trump never endorsed him. He ended up endorsing Nikki Haley here. I think that was one of the things that sort of caused the issue from the very beginning, because that is why Norman is. It's in the predicament that he's in right now.
00:23:25
Speaker 2: Wait, wait, wait, wait. Back up, back up, back up, back up. I know. I mean, I know all about that. And a lot of people never forgave Ralph for endorsing Nikki Haley. And you're right. That probably ticked off President Trump. None of that matters now. He had the bad side. But none of that matters now. You know what matters? It does matter. Let me finish. Angie, Angie, Angie, let me make my point, please. Please stop interrupting me. I promise I'm going to let you talk. You know what matters? You doing everything you can to keep a radical nut job like Annie Andrews out of the Senate.
00:24:03
Speaker 4: And I totally agree.
00:24:04
Speaker 2: Well, you can't agree with that.
00:24:06
Speaker 4: I'm not voting for her. I'm giving you the side of Ralph Norman. That's what I'm calling.
00:24:12
Speaker 2: I want Angie's side. Are you voting for Darlene?
00:24:16
Speaker 4: No, I'm not. But I didn't vote for any Andrews either. I can vote for either one because I could not get behind either one.
00:24:24
Speaker 2: So who do you think that benefits with you not voting for the Republican nominee for Senate?
00:24:29
Speaker 4: It benefits me because I did what I thought was right in my heart.
00:24:34
Speaker 7: And you know what's going to happen?
00:24:36
Speaker 2: And I'm up against a break here. You know what's going to happen? You know what's going to happen? You'll be one of those, when she enacts all kinds of radical legislation and we're all pulling our hair out that we have a radical leftist who got elected in South Carolina, you'll be one of the ones complaining that she's a senator. And you help do that. It'll be on you. It'll be on you, Angie.
00:24:57
Speaker 4: Okay, are you going to let me talk?
00:24:58
Speaker 6: Yep, you go.
00:24:59
Speaker 2: Go, go.
00:25:00
Speaker 4: Okay. All right. Because you want to talk.
00:25:02
Speaker 6: All right.
00:25:02
Speaker 2: Go.
00:25:03
Speaker 3: Go.
00:25:03
Speaker 2: You got one minute.
00:25:04
Speaker 4: Trump should have never got involved. Trump should have never endorsed Darlene. They should have let the people of South Carolina fight this out between Ralph and Darlene. That's what should have happened from.
00:25:17
Speaker 2: The very beginning. So now you're going to get your vengeance now. You'll punish Trump, right? You want to get back at Trump, right? No, it's Trump. Is that what it is? You want to punish Trump, don't you? You want to get back at him. You want to get back at him. No, I voted for Trump. Oh!
00:25:35
Speaker 7: I voted for Trump both times.
00:25:37
Speaker 2: Here's what happens.
00:25:38
Speaker 4: I don't agree with him getting involved with state elections.
00:25:42
Speaker 2: It's beside the point. That's water over the dam. It's over and done with. You know what, Angie? Here's the bottom line. You get Annie Andrews, you're going to deserve her, Angie. You're going to deserve her. No, it's not okay, because I love South Carolina. Sorry, you don't seem to, because I love the state, and I love this country, and I don't want a radical extremist like her in office. I don't know how that's hard for you to see. Appreciate the lively exchange, Angie. More coming up.
00:26:10
Speaker 1: Mike Gallagher.
00:26:22
Speaker 3: No matter what you are.
00:26:26
Speaker 1: Mike Gallagher.
00:26:27
Speaker 2: This is a caller-driven show. I hope you're calling me on your Pure Talk phone. Last year, Pure Talk ran their best promotion in company history. My wireless company is Pure Talk, and for a good reason. First of all, it's a company that has a heart for veterans, run by a veteran. They have been helping with vets for years. And this deal they did last year, I couldn't believe it. Unlimited talk, unlimited text, and unlimited data. with a 30-gig hotspot for $ 29. 95 a month for life. For life. Now, that deal was locked in the vault since last year, but they're bringing it back for a limited time. Now, this top-tier plan is $ 65 a month. Again, unlimited talk, unlimited text, unlimited data, $ 65 a month, pretty good offer, right? They're reducing it to $ 29. 95 a month for life. And yes, that's on their crazy fast nationwide 5G network. Dial pound 250. And when prompted, just say the keyword Mike Gallagher. You'll be connected to a U.S.-based customer service rep from Pure Talk, and you can make the switch. Tell your friends. Tell your family. Short-lived offer. Dial pound 250. When prompted, say Mike Gallagher to make the switch to Pure Talk. Kurt Schlichter is a lawyer, author, senior columnist at townhall.com. The cruise line is already preparing itself for his arrival... on the Gulf of America cruise in a couple of weeks. I mean, Scott Jennings and I are supposed to be the headliners, but you know, if you get arrested on the ship, you're going to wind up taking out all the, whoops, there goes Kurt. We lost Kurt. Holy cow. There he is. You know, if you get arrested, you're back, you're back. I thought, I thought me. So Kurt, you got to be on your best behavior on the Gulf of America cruise with a few hundred of our closest friends.
00:28:06
Speaker 5: I'm not making any promises.
00:28:09
Speaker 2: Not at all. Of course you are. I'm going to do my thing.
00:28:13
Speaker 5: I'm looking forward to this. This is going to be fun. It's either going to be a miserable time where we're all whining about what happened in the election or like an amazing victory party.
00:28:24
Speaker 2: I don't know which. Let's hope it's the— I have a suspicion. Well, don't jinx it.
00:28:31
Speaker 5: Former or latter?
00:28:32
Speaker 2: I don't— Former, latter.
00:28:33
Speaker 7: I'm not jinxing nothing.
00:28:35
Speaker 2: Don't jinx it. I mean, look, it's real simple. You show up, we win. You stay home, we're going to lose. I just got into a knockdown dragout with a caller in South Carolina. I'm mad at Trump. So I'm not going to vote for Darlene because Trump shouldn't have meddled in South Carolina. Are you kidding me? You want Senator Annie Andrews? You want to look at her record, Kurt?
00:29:04
Speaker 5: To have lives and think, oh, this isn't important.
00:29:07
Speaker 7: It is important.
00:29:08
Speaker 5: I'm here in Texas. You can tell by the background behind me. staying here at my Texas place and semi-California place. I had to vote against Ted Lieu. That's how bad it is for me in California. But here in Texas, look, I feel the energy for Paxson. I feel that normal Republicans are coming around saying, you know, this is important. We have a guy who's anti-meat, anti-gun, anti-fossil fuel, anti-America, pro-perversion, and completely blasphemous. I mean, the guy is literally a demon. We need to stand up. And I know maybe you're mad you got to pay a little more per gallon so we can defeat a generational enemy who's murdered and maimed thousands of Americans. I get that, you know, as Mick Jagger's saying, you can't always get what you want. But, you know, being an adult, Mike, is about making choices. Elections are choices. Are we going to take the communist pervert enabler or are we going to take a guy who's going to vote in line with America's interests?
00:30:16
Speaker 2: It's not even hard.
00:30:17
Speaker 5: And I don't want to hear that you're sad or upset or that.
00:30:20
Speaker 2: You get my way.
00:30:24
Speaker 5: Shut up. You know, I don't need you. You're not a teenage girl scribbling away your gripes in your dream journal. Get up, go out and vote all Republican.
00:30:37
Speaker 2: Amen. And look, you're a guy that your motto is go big or go home. Who else would have the audacity to write a book and have it released on Election Day? November 3rd, American Warlord is coming out, and I'm getting all kinds of buzz about this book, a post-apocalyptic novel that follows a guy who navigates a collapsed, raider-plagued America. This sounds a little bit like Mad Max.
00:31:07
Speaker 5: Well, yeah, but it's not Mad Max. It's a normal guy. Because, you know, Mike, the people who are going to save America aren't like the superstars. We're not looking for a hero. We've got heroes. Every American is a hero. You know, Americans... build companies. They fight wars. They help their community. They support their churches. Normal Americans have an energy and a power that I don't think people appreciate. So I wrote a book about one. He knows a little about Roman history. That helps. But this isn't a guy who can bench press 400 pounds. This isn't a guy who can fly. This is a regular guy. And suddenly, when everything goes to hell, He makes some good choices, and people say, hey, can I come along? And he starts rebuilding things. It's going to be a series. I'm looking at maybe three books. The first one, Mike, it's doing incredible. I've sold thousands already on pre-order. You can go get American Warlord at Amazon or American Warlord over at Art Press. which is a new conservative press outlet that's putting out books that you want to read. If you want to read Eat, Pray, Love 2, Electric Boogaloo, you're looking in the wrong place. There's no 50 shades here except the red, white, and blue. Three shades. Yeah, exactly. You know, the publishing industry and the entertainment industry seems to hate normal people, particularly men. So I wrote a book for normal people, including men. But women like it, too.
00:32:40
Speaker 2: It's called American Warlord. And, Kurt, I want to make Dan Nelson, who's our events guy, just make him a little crazy because I love poking fun at him. Make him complicated. You should bring a few hundred copies with you on the cruise ship. You should sign copies on the cruise. Will there be copies on the ship?
00:32:59
Speaker 5: Yes, that's already in the works. There are already going to be copies on the ship. I will sign it. Bring your own copy. I will sign that, too.
00:33:07
Speaker 2: Good, good.
00:33:08
Speaker 5: I will break dance if that's what you want.
00:33:11
Speaker 2: You got a deal. American Warlord. American Warlord. Get it. Coming out November 3rd. The great Kurt Schlichter. Kurt, we'll see you on the high seas. Keep fighting the good fight, my friend.
00:33:22
Speaker 1: Mike Gallagher.

Speaker 5: Yes, that's already in the works. There are already going to be copies on the ship. I will sign it. Bring your own copy. I will sign that, too.
