After building and running Nvidia's DGX AI supercomputing service for nearly six years, Stephan Fabel left the AI infrastructure giant in April to take on the role of CEO at ThisWay Global. That company is an AI infrastructure service provider targeting sovereign entities, including state and national governments and public research institutions. In addition to infrastructure capacity and orchestration, the company offers risk management and employee training services. Fabel said he hopes that addressing the AI trust gap for sovereigns will move AI development beyond "the next cat picture generator" to medical research and other critical functions that would benefit society.
