Speaker 1: Come and knock on our door.
00:00:03
Speaker 2: The doors of the Get Up Church are open. Good gospel music, laughs, and lots of inspiration.
00:00:08
Speaker 3: You guys are inspiring the youth, and I just want to say thank you.
00:00:12
Speaker 2: Keep doing what you're.
00:00:13
Speaker 3: Doing because you are helping us parents to a train of virtue.
00:00:16
Speaker 1: Come back to church. Just knock on the door.
00:00:19
Speaker 2: Get Up Mornings with Erica Campbell.
00:00:24
Speaker 4: It's Get Up Mornings with Eric and Campbell on this marvelous Monday, September 21st. Let me tell y'all something. The beginning of the week, I'm feeling good. It's about to be the blessed day ever.
00:00:38
Speaker 1: Come on.
00:00:38
Speaker 4: 11 minutes after the hour, Sybil has five things you need to know. I will have a quick sports minute and wait until I tell you what these Raiders did. Erica, I have her fake walk. And later this hour is the birthday shout-outs today or tomorrow. Last couple days of Virgo. Then it's about to be Libra season. How about that? But right now, let me go ahead and pray. Father God, thank you for this week. Thank you for the beginning. Thank you for our new mercies, Lord. Thank you for the clean slate that you give us every day. Father God, we're so grateful and thankful to just.
00:01:15
Speaker 1: Be a part of the body.
00:01:16
Speaker 4: And Lord, we will not fight over what part of the body will be. A lot of people want to be the brain and the mouth and the hands, Lord, but somebody got to be the baby. Somebody got to be in that baby toe ministry. If your baby toe is hurt, your whole body hurt. Lord, so just thank you for giving us options. In your holy son Jesus' name, we pray.
00:01:34
Speaker 1: Amen. Now somebody's going to be like, Griff, baby toe ministry is important.
00:01:39
Speaker 4: Listen.
00:01:40
Speaker 1: This hour, we got a lot of music coming back. What up, Vino's?
00:01:45
Speaker 4: Welcome back, man. Stillers, not so much. I'll be talking about the sports, too.
00:01:50
Speaker 1: Big music. John P.
00:01:51
Speaker 5: Key.
00:01:51
Speaker 1: What up, Ankh?
00:01:52
Speaker 4: Darwin Hobbs and Jabari Johnson. But right now, here's Tamela Mann with Hello God on Get Up Mornings with Erica Campbell.
00:02:01
Speaker 1: Ready or not, wake up.
00:02:03
Speaker 6: What do you need?
00:02:04
Speaker 1: You know.
00:02:06
Speaker 7: This.
00:02:07
Speaker 1: Five things you need.
00:02:11
Speaker 8: It's Sybil Wilkes with what we need to know. Reporters from CNN, MSNOW and Politico said Saturday they were all denied access to White House grounds following a social media ban. Executive leadership cited dissatisfaction with critical coverage as the reason for revoking press access. Media organizations and press freedom advocates voiced strong opposition to the credential restrictions. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty of Ohio detailed a confrontational exchange with the president during a virtual board meeting. The disagreement stemmed from proposed renovations to the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and the congresswoman stood firm against the demands to alter the national landmark despite facing... personal attacks, which she detailed over the weekend.
00:02:56
Speaker 1: U.S.
00:02:57
Speaker 8: Gas prices rose to $ 4. 46 per gallon, approaching the highest national average of the year. Rising crude oil and diesel costs continue to drive up transportation expenses across multiple states. Many have already seen average fuel prices surpass $ 5.
00:03:14
Speaker 1: Per gallon in the recent weeks.
00:03:17
Speaker 8: It's Ministry Monday, and this week's reflection focuses on the biblical description of God as.
00:03:23
Speaker 5: The Alpha and Omega.
00:03:25
Speaker 8: Drawing from scripture, the lesson highlights divine constancy.
00:03:28
Speaker 1: From the beginning to the end of time.
00:03:31
Speaker 8: And believers are encouraged to rely on their faith as a guiding anchor through life's trials. 1910 marked the birth anniversary of pioneering mathematical engineer Dorothy Johnson Vaughan. Born in 1910, as mentioned before, she was among the first black mathematicians hired at NASA's predecessor agency following federal anti-discrimination orders. Her historic leadership as a human computer helped advance the early American aerospace industry. And you may remember her name from a little-known book and movie by the name of Hidden Figures. I'm Sybil Wilkes.
00:04:06
Speaker 1: Be informed.
00:04:07
Speaker 5: Be empowered.
00:04:10
Speaker 1: In the game, it's Griff's Get Up Sports Minute. I hate the homies.
00:04:15
Speaker 4: Episode 182 is out right now, and we are looking for a homie and audition some in that episode. But let's go to college first. LSU went to Ole Miss and took a L, 32-24. Unranked Kentucky, shock number nine, Texas A & M, 31-21. Then number 23, Louisville, put that thing on SMU. 41-31 in the NFL. The Carolinas came to Atlanta and were disrespectful.
00:04:44
Speaker 9: 34-3.
00:04:44
Speaker 4: Come to your trap, take over your trap. Big shout-out to Keisha and Nico, Panther fans. Houston lost to the Bengals 20-6. The Cleveland Browns beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23-19. Now leave Deshaun alone. Green Bay over the Jets. Chicago lost to the Vikings. The Saints stunned the Ravens 24-17. Steelers lose to the Patriots. The Raiders clean up them charges. We undefeated. Cowboys 37, Washington 20, and the Colts lose to Kansas City tonight. The Giants at the Rams. I'm Griff, and that's your Quick Sports Minute. And shiny with the birthdays. Go Cowboys.
00:05:26
Speaker 1: Go Cowboys.
00:05:27
Speaker 10: Yes.
00:05:28
Speaker 11: Happy birthday goes out to Alfonso Rivera, Jason Derulo, Mama D, Judge Faith Jenkins, Billy Porter, and Wale.
00:05:37
Speaker 6: Now, if today is.
00:05:37
Speaker 12: Your birthday and you want to get.
00:05:39
Speaker 11: A shout out or you want to shout somebody else out, your opportunity hits in about 15 minutes right here inside of Birthday Shoutouts on Get Up Mornings with Erica Campbell.
00:05:52
Speaker 2: You're listening to Get Up. Mornings with Erica Campbell.
00:05:56
Speaker 1: Faith Walker.
00:05:56
Speaker 2: With Erica Campbell.
00:05:59
Speaker 1: Right now.
00:05:59
Speaker 5: Amen.
00:06:00
Speaker 1: The Faith Walk.
00:06:01
Speaker 2: Faith Walk on Get Up Mornings.
00:06:03
Speaker 13: Yes, it is time for the Faith Walk of the day. And listen, some people that I love have gone on to be with the Lord. And so whenever I can find a video or a recording of them praying or talking or anything, I absolutely love it. And I allow myself to just have a moment and listen. Well, I found a clip. of my uncle Charles praying, who was my pastor my whole life and my favorite uncle. And as he was praying, I remember the legacy of prayer that I come from, right? I wasn't an out loud, out loud kind of prayer in my life, probably because I was little and you know, my dad and other people were doing that.
00:06:37
Speaker 6: But what I did learn is.
00:06:39
Speaker 13: The power of praying in the spirit, the power of speaking in your heavenly language. And I know some, in some circles, it's still a great debate over whether we should be speaking in tongues at all, but If you look in 1 Corinthians 14, 12, for one who speaks in tongues speaks not to men, but to God, for no one understands him, but he utters mysteries in the spirit. It's literally your communication line with the father. If he said, I'll leave you a comforter, I'll leave you a guide. That is the Holy Spirit. And when you learn to receive the gift that is freely given, I know in some churches we may have sat on the altar for five, 10 hours, but the Bible tells us that that is a gift that is freely given. I will give you the gift of the Holy Spirit. then why would you want to live without your gift? I always tell people that the Holy Spirit is the best snitcher I got in my back pocket. The Holy Spirit will tell me and let me know when things are coming, when things are happening in my family.
00:07:32
Speaker 6: It will give you warning. But here's the deal.
00:07:34
Speaker 13: If you're full of other stuff, you are making sure that there's no room for the Holy Spirit. So you got to make sure your heart is right and your spirit is right. Listen, I'm sure you'll hear people who ain't living right speaking in tongues. That's between them and God. That ain't none of my business. But what I don't want to do is minimize a gift that God gave to me because I've heard other people misinterpret it.
00:07:53
Speaker 6: Do the research for yourself. Get in scripture and find out what it says to you.
00:07:57
Speaker 13: The one who speaks in tongues builds himself up.
00:07:59
Speaker 6: The one who prophesies builds up the church itself.
00:08:02
Speaker 13: Then Ephesians 6 and 18, praying at all times in the spirit with all prayer and supplication to that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all of the saints. So sometimes you're not even just praying for you, you're praying for others and you're praying in the spirit. And so I just want to challenge you and encourage you to pray in the spirit, to receive the free gift of the Holy Spirit.
00:08:25
Speaker 6: A lot of people feel like I.
00:08:26
Speaker 13: Can only hear through someone else, what God is trying to say to me.
00:08:29
Speaker 6: But God wants a relationship with you.
00:08:31
Speaker 13: He left the comforter just for you, not just your prayer warriors and your pastors and apostles and leaders, but he left it for you. So I want you to build up yourself in your heavenly language.
00:08:41
Speaker 1: All right.
00:08:41
Speaker 6: That is the faith walk of the day. Love you.
00:08:43
Speaker 13: And I mean it this morning. Don't you miss the power of the Holy Spirit working in your life. It is not goosebumps. It's not just when people run through the church. It is a part of the Trinity. The third part, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is what we have access to. to hear and speak.
00:08:57
Speaker 6: To the Father. All right?
00:08:59
Speaker 13: Just wanted you to know that this morning. Because, listen, one thing about me, I'm going to pray in the Spirit.
00:09:04
Speaker 6: Absolutely. And I hope you are doing it, too.
00:09:06
Speaker 1: All right, guys.

00:13:53
Speaker 13: All right, good people, coming up this hour, let's see, 11 minutes after the hour, we'll have Sybil Wilkes. She'll give us the five things we need to know live. Plus, nope, I'm saying the wrong thing. The Erica-ism of the day is on the way. The weekend of review is on the way. Plus, the joys and concerns are on the way. So don't miss that. Great music from Anthony Brown, Renee Spearman, and Tamela Mann. Here's Joanne Rosario with Still on the Throne on Get Up Mornings.
00:14:17
Speaker 6: Come on, AJB. Thank you all for joining us.
00:14:21
Speaker 13: This is Get Up Mornings, and it is time for our weekend in review.
00:14:26
Speaker 6: Oh, Lord Jesus. Full, full weekend.
00:14:28
Speaker 1: Man.
00:14:31
Speaker 13: So listen, Friday night, I celebrated with some friends, pastors and first lady friends of mine had birthday celebration.
00:14:38
Speaker 6: So we hung out and had a chance to talk.
00:14:39
Speaker 13: And it's always like a safe, good environment for me because everybody does ministry. So they get the weight of ministry and all that we do. That was a total blessing. Me and Warren went on a date. We don't get to do that often. And I ended before the date did because I was sleepy.
00:14:56
Speaker 1: Um we started out.
00:14:58
Speaker 13: Early in the morning grip it was all day like he was i know he was you know let's spend all day yes so we started out going somewhere at like 10 for lunch then we went to a museum walked and did all of that then we went somewhere else and we went to dinner again and in a concert by that time it was 11 55 i do the radio show i don't stay up i was like he's really great on stage. Also, I'm very tired. I'm going to take her over home. He was like, no, you will not from a date. I was like, so yup.
00:15:25
Speaker 11: Yup.
00:15:25
Speaker 1: Right for me.
00:15:27
Speaker 13: Um, and our church did an indie film that was in a film festival festival, um, on Saturday. That was really great. It was called don't let a church kid tell it. Um, it's there's, they're sending it around to a few film festivals and you never know what happened. I'm super excited about that.
00:15:42
Speaker 3: Right.
00:15:43
Speaker 6: It's a great, great thing.
00:15:44
Speaker 13: Cause they usually only happen like maybe once or, twice a year, especially in our community, not that many. And so they're just providing an opportunity for people to share their films.
00:15:53
Speaker 6: It's called Indie Night. If you look it up, you can Google it.
00:15:57
Speaker 13: Hey, if you can have a film, maybe you can pitch your film as well. We had a leadership meeting that was really, really good, just assessing leaders and where they are and how they operate, how to work in excellence, which was really, really cool to have those conversations there. with our leaders at Cali Worship. Then we had church on Sunday, two services. We had one of our other associate ministers preach. So me and Warren were able to just sit and enjoy service, which is always good, right?
00:16:25
Speaker 1: Enjoy service, right.
00:16:27
Speaker 6: Just sit there, right, and not be on.
00:16:29
Speaker 13: And then celebrated my 89-year-old auntie, Auntie Dee. And just her blessing and speaking over the family is just amazing. You know, it's exciting, but also a little... scary as they get older because, you know, we don't stay here forever. So having her share words and, you know, I'm still here and I'm still driving and I'm still praying for y'all and I still love y'all.
00:16:50
Speaker 6: It was just, it was really, really cool. So happy birthday to Auntie Dee. How was your weekend, Griff?
00:16:55
Speaker 1: Let me tell you something.
00:16:56
Speaker 4: On Friday, I was a part of Change Church's couples conference, Unbreakable. But it was at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. DJ E-Class, the live band Jukebox Pastors, Darius and Shamika Daniels are dope. That's all I'm going to say. I'll tell you guys more about that later. But that was amazing. That was kind of awesome.
00:17:20
Speaker 1: On the field, E-Class. Like on this same field, the Falcons lost that.
00:17:26
Speaker 4: Then Saturday was I was with your sore roars on Saturday. Saturday was the Atlanta Tow Pie Omega chapter. They're out of Stone Mountain. It was called Pretty in Pink Comedy Show. They was raising money for scholarships. Big shout out to Madam President Portia Brantley. My girl, Soror TT, I'll tell you guys about them during my joys and concerns. 00:18:12
Speaker 13: Absolutely oh that's good thank god for the pace for sure man man you gonna get you a good nap today griff.

Speaker 1: That's what you can do, lady.
00:18:24
Speaker 13: We still got a lot of work to do. Okay, we're going to think about sleep later, but right now it's get up morning time. That's what we're doing. Y'all stick around. The Erica-ism of the day is up next.
00:18:33
Speaker 8: Ma'am.
00:18:38
Speaker 2: You're listening to Get Up. Mornings with Erica Campbell.

Speaker 14: This is Jim Drops with the Terrace R. Whitfield brought to you by the Dear Future Wifey podcast. We chase butterflies. But sometimes the very thing giving you chills is also giving you confusion. Chemistry is real, but compatibility is stable. One gives you passion.
00:19:11
Speaker 1: The other gives you peace. And here's the secret. If peace feels unfamiliar.
00:19:16
Speaker 14: You might confuse it with boredom, but the real ones, they make you feel safe, seen, secure.
00:19:24
Speaker 1: When you find that, oh, hold on to it. That's home. Now let me see you shine. There you go.

00:19:42
Speaker 2: Real talk.
00:19:43
Speaker 1: Through Erica-ism of the day.
00:19:44
Speaker 2: On Get Up Mornings with Erica Campbell.
00:19:47
Speaker 13: Yes, it's time for the Erica-ism of today. I want to talk about pacing yourself. You know, when you get excited about something and you have new information and it's information that you absolutely want to share, whether it is finding out something about the insurance or, you know, some new revelation in scripture.
00:20:03
Speaker 6: I want to talk about pacing yourself.
00:20:05
Speaker 13: Sometimes when you are excited and you want to give everybody everything, if you give it in a way where they can't receive it because it feels a little intense, you know what I mean?
00:20:15
Speaker 6: Maybe even overbearing a little bit.
00:20:17
Speaker 13: Take your time and ask God to show you how to give them information in a way that they can receive it. Because if I give you something that I feel is valuable and you're not in the position of receiving it, I may be offended because of your response but I think that you should always find out the capacity and where people are in their ability to receive you know I have people in my life that just they just pick up the phone and start talking they don't ask are you busy they don't ask did you have time they don't ask any of that they just start talking and so you know when you're in a big family you just kind of have to adjust but as adults you do have the right to say hey give me I don't I don't have capacity for that right now um give me a moment or if you just want to say hey I'm a little busy let me Create a moment where I can give you my undivided attention.
00:21:03
Speaker 6: I think it allows you to give them.
00:21:06
Speaker 13: Whatever you want to give them in your excitable way, whatever that is, but also have them really listen and not sitting there trying to figure out when you're going to hurry up and finish. Just because you're excited doesn't mean they're excited. And that's not offensive.
00:21:19
Speaker 6: You know what I mean?
00:21:20
Speaker 13: I mean, I'm trying to help y'all be better. So now you want to beat them up with good information. That doesn't work either. You have to make sure that they're in a position to receive it.
00:21:28
Speaker 1: You know, whether this is.
00:21:29
Speaker 13: Parents talking to older children, trying to give them good advice, you should at least create a space where they feel like I can listen, not just I'm being yelled at or I'm just being given something and being judged if I don't get it in the way you want me to get it. You know, everybody doesn't do this. I'm just offering this advice because it's something that I use. Honestly, I did not always know how to do this because I was always worried about somebody.
00:21:53
Speaker 6: They're going to be offended. They're going to be offended. So I don't have time.
00:21:56
Speaker 13: I'm not really listening because of something else to do just to appease their feelings. Well, that's not smart either. I think that you can always speak your truth. In love, whether you are talking to a parent, a sibling, or even a spouse. You know, babe, give me a minute. Let me clear my head. I had this and this and this planned. When I tell you we want to have an idea, he's just going to give it to you. And I have to tell him I have three other really important things in my brain. Let me clear that out and then I'll have space for you to really pay attention. And it's really not so much about them. It's about you being able to express it in a way they receive it. Because no one loves giving great information that nobody wanted to hear. Or they didn't have time to hear. or they were consumed in paying attention to something else. So just make sure you have a good audience when you talk. Make sure that their heart and mind is.
00:22:39
Speaker 6: Ready to receive.
00:22:40
Speaker 13: So they receive it with joy and not rolling their eyes and smacking their teeth because maybe you always have great information and they didn't, they weren't able to apply the last information and then you give them two more informations.
00:22:50
Speaker 6: I know, bad English, but you understand what I'm saying.
00:22:53
Speaker 13: Two more rounds of great things to pay attention to and, you know, and then they haven't caught up yet. Sometimes it literally takes time for your brain to hear something multiple times to even be able to say it and articulate it yourself before it sets in and takes place that's actually like a real thing especially in marketing if you're giving somebody something you can't expect them to hear it one time and remember everything especially if there's a lot of details so making sure that you have space and they have the capacity to hear it and then remember you're going to have to say it again right so they remember the same way you're not gonna remember every single thing I said right now yeah just like that you gotta tell them again let's get up mornings y'all that's my Erica ism of the day love you and I mean it.
00:23:38
Speaker 2: You're listening to Get Up Mornings with Erica Campbell.
00:23:43

00:23:45
Speaker 2: Amen.

Speaker 4: Amen.

00:24:06
Speaker 1: Thank you, First Lady Pastor.
00:24:10
Speaker 4: Happy birthday to Janelle Pooley, our girl Kim Fox, done again, Dan Otero, and Justice Harkless had birthdays yesterday.
00:24:20
Speaker 1: I love all of them. But first, give an honor to God who's the head of my life.
00:24:27
Speaker 4: I'd like to say I'm glad to be in the house of the Lord.
00:24:31
Speaker 6: One more time.
00:24:32
Speaker 1: First Lady Pastor.
00:24:34
Speaker 13: Uh-huh.
00:24:35
Speaker 4: Because he brought me from a mighty, mighty long way.
00:24:39
Speaker 1: Just this, I could have been dead, sleeping in the grave. But God is good.
00:24:46
Speaker 6: All the time.
00:24:47
Speaker 1: And all the time.
00:24:50
Speaker 5: God is good. Yes, yes.
00:24:53
Speaker 4: I got to say happy birthday to the Source Christians Church in Virginia Beach. Lady Ro, she turned 50 years old today. Oh, and Raphael McRae, he was assigned to me during that Chained Churches Unbreakable Couples Conference.
00:25:08
Speaker 1: Cool, cool, cool brother.
00:25:11
Speaker 4: But what I did on Saturday with your sorority eater, a.k.a. it was actually Atlanta's Tao Pai Omega Chapter. And they're out of Stone Mountain, Georgia. They had a pretty in pink comedy show and they were raising money for scholarships. They do so many great things in the community. I got to shout out Madam President Portia Brantley. Soar Roar TT, she's a retired librarian. Soar Roar Sabrina and her husband Johnny put us on game with the.
00:25:44
Speaker 1: Black Wolf Cigar Bar.
00:25:45
Speaker 4: They had a cigar bar area at this event as well.
00:25:50
Speaker 1: As soon as I got off stage, I was down there.
00:25:53
Speaker 4: There was a cool Sigma Gamma Rho girl, too, Latrenda, who shared the same birthday as my mama, April 9th.
00:26:00
Speaker 1: She's spring of 92.
00:26:02
Speaker 4: Soror Star is going to be a silver star. That's 25 years coming up. But E, I met a pearl. A pearl is a lady who's been in the AK. I mean, you know, I'm telling everybody else. She's been in the AK for 65 years.
00:26:18
Speaker 1: And then after pearls, it's a diamond.
00:26:21
Speaker 4: And at the regional conference, I met six diamonds last year.
00:26:25
Speaker 1: They've been in.
00:26:25
Speaker 7: Wow.
00:26:26
Speaker 4: 75 years now. Somebody's saying that's what AKAs do.
00:26:31
Speaker 1: I know.
00:26:31
Speaker 4: You get to say, ain't it all right? Somebody else said, did you ask them the same things you ask an Erica? I did all the time. And you get to say, ain't it all right? And I'm going to tell you what they said, but first. If you like me and you know, ooh, them ladies with them pink and green and pearls.
00:26:47
Speaker 1: Got it going on. I'm screaming. Ain't he all right? Thank you, ladies.
00:26:55
Speaker 4: But I also told them I'm always trying to get Erica to make the noise.
00:27:00
Speaker 1: And they was like, Griff, we don't.
00:27:02
Speaker 6: We are not parents.
00:27:03
Speaker 1: We will not. Now, show them.
00:27:07
Speaker 8: Yeah.
00:27:08
Speaker 1: I mean, a room full of them. Not one noise.
00:27:11
Speaker 2: You understand me?
00:27:12
Speaker 1: Oh, and Soror Tatanisha.
00:27:15
Speaker 4: Yeah.
00:27:16
Speaker 1: She was the best.
00:27:16
Speaker 4: But Soror Monica Newton, you took care of me and made sure everything in my rider was taken care of.
00:27:23
Speaker 1: All the fruit and the towels. Thank you, baby.
00:27:26
Speaker 6: The protocol.
00:27:27
Speaker 1: The protocol is not a game. It's governmental.
00:27:30
Speaker 2: Good mornings, y'all.
00:27:31
Speaker 1: Good mornings with Erica.
00:27:35
Speaker 6: Good morning to people. It's Get Up Mornings.
00:27:37
Speaker 13: I'm Erica Campbell, loving Jesus and loving you on a marvelous Monday, September the 21st, one minute past the top of the hour.
00:27:43
Speaker 6: Glad to be here, loving the Get Up Church. Thank y'all for listening this morning. We appreciate you.
00:27:48
Speaker 4: I have to shout out the Titus II Women's Wisdom Circle Gathering. It was a conference that my mama, my sisters, Lanika flew to California, my Aunt Michelle, Raina, Emmanuel. It was a dope thing. We all had a weekend.
00:28:03
Speaker 1: How about that?
00:28:04
Speaker 6: Very nice. Very nice.
00:28:05
Speaker 1: All right, guys.
00:28:06
Speaker 13: Listen, coming up this hour, we've got our AI specialist, Kim Fox Dunnigan, always helping us know new things and learn how to operate in this world that we live in with AI and all that stuff.
00:28:18
Speaker 6: Plus, Wake Up and Win with Dr.
00:28:19
Speaker 1: Millie J.
00:28:20
Speaker 13: Willie Jolly, his message today. Don't confuse being rich with being wealthy. Don't confuse being rich with being wealthy. There is a difference. Listen, and when you finish that, I want y'all to look up Matthew 5 and just look at who Jesus said he blessed. I know who we think is blessed. I know folks we call, they got a new house, they blessed. The Bible says blessed are the poor in spirit, but theirs is the kingdom of heaven. All right, just check that out in your study time so you know what the scripture says about blessed folks. We got music on the way from Dietrich Haddon, Pastor Mike Jr., and Jordan Armstrong. Here's Sincere with After Tonight on Get Up Morning.
00:28:55
Speaker 19: Let's talk money.
00:28:57
Speaker 3: But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God, for.
00:28:59
Speaker 6: It is he that giveth thee power to get wealth.
00:29:02
Speaker 1: Money Monday. It's Money Monday on Get Up Morning. It's Get Up Mornings with Erica Campbell.
00:29:07
Speaker 4: It's Money Mondays, and you know who's back with us, our AI expert and our great friend, Kim Fox.
00:29:13
Speaker 1: Done again. Kim, welcome back, sis.
00:29:16
Speaker 12: Thank you.
00:29:16
Speaker 18: Good morning, good morning, good morning, everybody.
00:29:18
Speaker 3: It's glad to be back.
00:29:20
Speaker 4: So I love talking to you on Mondays about AI stuff. And today we're talking about using multiple AI platforms. So last month you told us not to start with AI until we know the bigger goal behind our marketing. But even when someone knows their goal, a lot of business owners and ministry leaders still get stuck asking, what am I supposed to post?
00:29:42
Speaker 1: Walk us through that.
00:29:44
Speaker 5: Yeah. So I get stuck.
00:29:45
Speaker 1: During that all the time.
00:29:47
Speaker 5: And that's the crazy part.
00:29:51
Speaker 3: But what I have come to realize is that actually the answers to what I'm supposed to post comes from my relationships with my clients and those interactions that I have. So if you have questions that they ask you and you just by default already know the answer to it, that's content. There are comments that you may get on your social media. That's content. emails, reviews, conversations, all of those things can be converted into content.
00:30:20
Speaker 1: So you're not guessing.
00:30:22
Speaker 3: You're actually answering what they're asking. The main problem is, though, that we haven't taken the time to put all of that together and to see what the trends and potential posts are.
00:30:34
Speaker 5: So that's our biggest issue.
00:30:36
Speaker 4: Okay, so once we put all that feedback and research together, how do we bring AI into the equation? Like, how do we make it work for us? And then tell people again, stop being so scary. If you Google something, that's AI.
00:30:49
Speaker 1: Exactly. Exactly.
00:30:51
Speaker 3: We've been doing AI for years now. We just haven't realized it. Like, our algorithms for Netflix.
00:30:58
Speaker 5: That's AI. Like you said, Google is AI.
00:31:01
Speaker 3: It's all about a knowledge basis gathering data, and it's It's using that data to answer questions. And so by using AI first to help you to, you've already put your questions together.
00:31:15
Speaker 5: You already put your comments together.
00:31:16
Speaker 3: You take that and you take it into AI and say, help me to come up with five frequently asked questions.
00:31:25
Speaker 5: That I can answer.
00:31:27
Speaker 3: Based on what I'm already being asked, the things that my clients are already saying. Because if it's one person asking you, I can guarantee it's five other people that have that same question. And so your posts and AI helps you to make more relevant posts based on.
00:31:43
Speaker 5: What you're already doing. It is a tool.
00:31:46
Speaker 3: It's not here to replace you.
00:31:48
Speaker 10: It is a.
00:31:49
Speaker 3: Tool to help you grow your business, grow your ministry. In fact, sometimes I even use AI and I tell it to go into Reddit threads and.
00:31:58
Speaker 1: Reddit threads that are relevant. Exactly.
00:32:00
Speaker 3: That are relevant to my field. I'll go and say, go review this Reddit thread. Tell me what their challenges are, what their most common questions are, their concerns, their frustrations and needs. And then once I get that result, I'll say, now plop me in. How can I answer this in social media posts?
00:32:20
Speaker 1: Kim, you are that lady. You are her.
00:32:24
Speaker 4: Ladies and gentlemen, Get Up Nation, that's Kim Foxx Dunnegan, our financial and AI expert. To stay connected, log on to her website, PurposeDrivenEnterprises.com.

Speaker 2: You're listening to Get Up Mornings with Erica Campbell. It's time to wake up and win with Dr. Willie Jolly on Get Up Mornings with Erica.
00:33:09
Speaker 7: Campbell.
00:33:12
Speaker 1: Hey, this is Dr.
00:33:13
Speaker 16: Willie Jolly, and this next minute could literally change your life. Wealth is a long-term game. Many people make short-term decisions that cost them long-term success. Investments take time. Growth takes time. Success takes time. Just as it takes seed and time to harvest... so too does it take time to invest to grow. Wealth takes time. Rich can happen quickly, and sometimes by chance. You could be the 1,000th person to walk in a basketball arena and get the chance to shoot the half-court shot for a million dollars. At halftime, they could take you to the floor. You might have never shot a half-court shot in your life. You take the ball, close your eyes, and throw it as hard as you can, and swoosh, it goes in. You can get rich on accident, but wealth takes time. So stay consistent and focused. The results will come this month. Shift your thinking. Stop asking, what can I get now? And start asking, what can I build for later? Because long-term thinking leads to lasting wealth.
00:34:04
Speaker 1: This is Dr. Willie Jolly.
00:34:05
Speaker 16: Go to winwithwillie.com for more info on the book and.

00:34:31
Speaker 1: Then he preached his whole sermon on the book.
00:34:35
Speaker 10: Wow.

Speaker 7: I'm so excited, really, because I got through and I didn't expect it.
00:34:49
Speaker 1: The Get Up poll is on.
00:34:50
Speaker 2: Get up morning.
00:34:52
Speaker 13: Listen, I almost said sure what we're talking about, but Cheryl is out. She's on vacation celebrating with her husband.
00:34:56
Speaker 6: We always love.
00:34:57
Speaker 1: Love and love.
00:34:58
Speaker 5: 30 years.
00:34:58
Speaker 6: Yeah, listen, that's worth celebrating.
00:35:00
Speaker 2: 30 years.
00:35:00
Speaker 1: For sure.
00:35:02
Speaker 6: For sure.
00:35:03
Speaker 13: Okay, so today, do men still have pickup lines in 2026? I was in a time when, yes, they would create pickup lines for the date. And I know it's a new day and time, but do they still do that and do they work? um and here's some classic ones uh are you a parking ticket because you got fine written all over you girl man are you from tennessee because you're the only 10 i see oh god hey hey excuse me did it hurt when you fell from heaven Oh, God, please don't tell me this is what people say.
00:35:41
Speaker 6: This is why y'all saying that.
00:35:43
Speaker 1: So my pickup lines have always been dumb. Like, if I could make a girl laugh, I was in. Man, you got a big nose.
00:35:52
Speaker 16: Who?
00:35:53
Speaker 1: And then they start laughing. Like, I'm just random.
00:35:56
Speaker 4: If you want to be silly, then say, hey, you want to get COVID together and be sick forever?
00:36:02
Speaker 6: Oh, God, duh.
00:36:06
Speaker 1: I just made that up.
00:36:08
Speaker 6: Pick up lines.
00:36:10
Speaker 1: Pick up lines are strong, though. I don't think.
00:36:13
Speaker 4: I mean, if you can. It's some good ones out there. We need the dudes to call for reals. Or if some ladies have had some good ones today. They're repeating to people. But dudes, if you still got them lines, man, because I ain't used one in so long.
00:36:27
Speaker 1: I couldn't even tell you.
00:36:29
Speaker 6: Griff, man, when you was trying to date after the divorce.
00:36:32
Speaker 1: It's so unnecessary.
00:36:35
Speaker 6: Y'all, Griff, he was not jamming.
00:36:37
Speaker 4: I was in a drought. I hadn't dated in a long time. And me and E, me and E was at this Whole Foods. And she was like, hey, man, you got to snap out of this.
00:36:49
Speaker 1: Come on now. You know, you're going through something.
00:36:51
Speaker 4: But you still got to, you know, be out there. So it was a lady that worked at Whole Foods.
00:36:56
Speaker 1: She wasn't attractive. But I just wanted to.
00:36:59
Speaker 5: Do my thing.
00:37:00
Speaker 1: Erica was right. So I was like, hey, how you doing today? She was like, uh, fine. I was like, right.
00:37:08
Speaker 6: And I said, he was like, oh, well, I thought maybe.
00:37:12
Speaker 1: You and she was like, can I do you want what do you need? Vegetables, juice.
00:37:17
Speaker 4: How can I help you? And I was like, oh, I'm all good. I was just seeing a cute lady. Erica was in tears. I mean, she shot me down 90 shots.
00:37:32
Speaker 13: No here's a i just read one that this girl left uh for this dude that she worked with she said thank you for being so masculine she said when i tell you he blushed come on yes she said that to him and he was like oh okay thank you Oh.
00:37:49
Speaker 1: How about that? Okay. Pick up lines we want to hear.
00:37:52
Speaker 15: 877-242-2426. 877-242-2426.
00:37:53
Speaker 13: What's the best pick up line you've heard or you get it?
00:37:57
Speaker 6: You're listening to Get Up.
00:38:04
Speaker 1: You heard from us.
00:38:05
Speaker 14: Now let's hear from you.
00:38:06
Speaker 2: You know it.
00:38:07

00:38:09
Speaker 2: The get up call is on.
00:38:10
Speaker 1: Get up morning.
00:38:11
Speaker 9: All right.
00:38:12
Speaker 13: We having some fun today. Just we want to hear from you. What are your best pickup lines? What's the best ones you've heard or the best ones you've given?
00:38:23
Speaker 1: Who do we have first?
00:38:27
Speaker 6: Tracy from Maryland is online. Hey, Tracy. What's the best pickup line you've heard, sis?
00:38:32
Speaker 19: I was told one last week, he asked me, do you work for Colgate?
00:38:36
Speaker 5: Because that's a beautiful smile that you have.
00:38:39
Speaker 6: Did it work? Did you give him your phone number?
00:38:41
Speaker 1: Or did you blush? What did you do next? That's important. Right.
00:38:45
Speaker 12: My mouth just dropped because he was young enough to be my son.
00:38:48
Speaker 1: Oh, Lord. Oh, you got one of them youngest hit you with it. Okay. Hey, Miss Lady. Hey, Miss Lady.
00:38:57
Speaker 6: Thank you for calling.
00:39:00
Speaker 13: Shona from Douglasville is on the line. Shona, what's the best pickup line you've heard or given?
00:39:05
Speaker 1: The Ville.
00:39:06
Speaker 10: I don't know if it's the best one or if it's the worst, I think, because I am a plush-sized beauty, and I'm not quite sure what would make a man think that he could use this line with me, but I've heard it several times, and they say, oh, I never had a big block like you, but I'm willing to try.
00:39:26
Speaker 7: Yeah.
00:39:26
Speaker 1: Yeah.
00:39:27
Speaker 5: That's anxious.
00:39:34
Speaker 6: I don't know what to do with that comment.
00:39:36
Speaker 1: Yeah, okay.
00:39:38
Speaker 6: Thank you for sharing.
00:39:39
Speaker 1: I'm a transmission now.
00:39:41
Speaker 5: Wow. Oh, God.
00:39:42
Speaker 1: Hilarious.
00:39:43
Speaker 6: Thank you for calling.
00:39:44
Speaker 10: Thank you so much.
00:39:45
Speaker 1: I love your show.
00:39:46
Speaker 10: Continue to do what you guys are doing.
00:39:49
Speaker 5: Absolutely. Okay, bye.
00:39:50
Speaker 16: Bye.
00:39:52
Speaker 1: 877-242-2426.
00:39:52
Speaker 4: It's time for the Get Up Poll. And we just want to know, what's a pickup line that somebody used.
00:40:01
Speaker 1: On you or that you used on them? Let's talk to Trishel. Trishel, how are you?
00:40:05
Speaker 2: Hi.
00:40:06
Speaker 1: Good morning, y'all.
00:40:07
Speaker 9: I'm fine.
00:40:09
Speaker 1: Morning, morning. Tell us your line or that they used on you.
00:40:12
Speaker 19: Well, I was in a grocery store the other day, and a guy walked.
00:40:16
Speaker 5: Up to me, and he said, um.
00:40:19
Speaker 19: I ain't never been jealous of a cell phone.
00:40:21
Speaker 1: And I was like, a cell phone?
00:40:22
Speaker 10: And he was like, because the way you hold that phone, I wish you would hold me like that.
00:40:27
Speaker 6: That's kind of cute a little bit. Did you smile?
00:40:30
Speaker 1: Did you blush? Look, she blushing now.
00:40:34
Speaker 17: I laughed because he initially said, I bet I could make you laugh. And I was just, I laughed and I just went my way and he went his.
00:40:43
Speaker 5: But I was like, sir. That's cute. That's cute.
00:40:45
Speaker 1: I love it. I'm not mad at that one. That's my favorite one so far. Right.
00:40:49
Speaker 13: Thank you for calling.
00:40:52
Speaker 5: You're welcome. Okay.
00:40:53
Speaker 1: Bye-bye. She's still laughing. She liked it. Yep.
00:40:57
Speaker 6: Dale in Charlotte is on the line. Hey, Dale, tell us your best pickup line, sir.
00:41:02
Speaker 15: Man, I don't know the pickup line. You know, first and foremost, the first one, hey, if I told you you had a beautiful body, would you hold it against me? You know, because either way, the answer's going to work in your favor.
00:41:13
Speaker 3: Or, girl.
00:41:14
Speaker 6: Would you hold it against me?
00:41:16
Speaker 7: Man.
00:41:18
Speaker 19: Are you going to hold it against me? Yes or no, the answer's all good. But then, of course, you know, your feet must be tired because you've been running through my mind all day. You know, it sounds like dad jokes when you're over 30. It's like it's dad jokes.
00:41:31
Speaker 1: It really does. That's what it is. That's what it is.
00:41:33
Speaker 19: You know, I was like, no, can't do it. Can't do it. Just come up and be real and just say, hey, I'm just thinking you're gorgeous and I want to get to know you a little bit better.
00:41:40
Speaker 5: You know, boom.
00:41:41
Speaker 6: I love that.
00:41:42
Speaker 4: You got to give them the old school. You fine as all get out.
00:41:45
Speaker 1: What you doing? You married? You know, the sun is mad at you because you don't show.
00:41:49
Speaker 19: All that shine. You know, you know.
00:41:51
Speaker 1: Come on, Dale. Keep them coming.
00:41:56
Speaker 5: Jokey, jokey, dad. Jokey, jokey.
00:41:58
Speaker 12: Thank you for calling.
00:41:59
Speaker 6: We appreciate you.
00:42:00
Speaker 19: Appreciate y'all guys. Have a great day today.
00:42:03
Speaker 6: You too.
00:42:03
Speaker 10: Bye-bye. Bye-bye.
00:42:07
Speaker 4: My mama text me and said her favorite pickup line from a dude was, is your husband married?
00:42:14
Speaker 6: Yes, I've heard that before.
00:42:17
Speaker 1: I never heard that ever.
00:42:18
Speaker 10: Oh, wow.
00:42:19
Speaker 1: You got a boyfriend?
00:42:20
Speaker 5: Yes.
00:42:21
Speaker 6: How long you had that problem? Sir, get away from me.
00:42:24
Speaker 1: Get up mornings, y'all.
00:42:26
Speaker 6: Thank y'all for calling.
00:42:27
Speaker 1: Get up mornings.

00:42:43
Speaker 1: How about that? Go ahead, Griff.
00:42:46
Speaker 6: What you got?
00:42:47
Speaker 4: Let me say happy birthday to Leslie Southall's mama, Miss Shirley.
00:42:52
Speaker 6: All right, good people.
00:42:53
Speaker 13: 11 minutes after the hour, we'll talk with Travis Green. He has a new single featuring Kiera Sheard Kelly. Plus, Shani Scott will have the trending topics and Joy Taylor will have the daily play.
00:43:03
Speaker 6: Listen, I'm praying for you.
00:43:04
Speaker 13: Believing God's going to do great things in your life, and I hope you believe it, too. One of my favorite scriptures, all things are possible to them that believe.
00:43:11
Speaker 6: What do you believe today? I hope you believe it for big things. Let's get to this good gospel music.
00:43:15
Speaker 13: Here's Javon DeJuan with 10X My Blessings on Get Up Mornings.
00:43:19
Speaker 2: Get Up Mornings.
00:43:19
Speaker 1: Get Up Mornings. Wake up. We have company.
00:43:23
Speaker 9: Welcome.
00:43:23
Speaker 1: Welcome. It's Get Up Mornings with Erica Campbell.
00:43:26
Speaker 4: And on the line with us today is pastor, author, and beyond friend to the show, the homie, homie, pastor, Travis Green.
00:43:34
Speaker 1: Travis, welcome back to Get Up Mornings, man. My people.
00:43:37
Speaker 5: What up, Griff?
00:43:39
Speaker 1: Man, you.
00:43:40
Speaker 4: You know what you mean to our show, so we're going to just skip that part. Let's just get right to this thing, man. You got a brand new single. Tell us about it. Introduce it. We'll come back and talk to you more about it.
00:43:51
Speaker 17: I appreciate it, man. Yeah, this song is called Leopard Song, and it's very near and dear to my heart.
00:43:57
Speaker 1: But this song is special, man. It's a story in Luke 17 where Jesus.
00:44:01
Speaker 5: Heals ten leopards and only one comes back to save them. Thank you.
00:44:05
Speaker 4: So here it is right now, you guys. Travis Green featuring Kiera Shearer. Kelly, it's called The Leper Song right here on Get Up Mornings with Erica Campbell.
00:44:15
Speaker 2: Get Up Mornings with Erica Campbell. Exclusive Get Up debut.
00:44:19
Speaker 1: Get Up Mornings with Erica Campbell. Travis, Travis, ladies and gentlemen, you got another one.
00:44:43
Speaker 4: You know, why was this not only important in this time, but do you feel as a pastor that the body of Christ has just become kind of ungrateful?
00:44:55
Speaker 1: I do, man, unfortunately.
00:44:57
Speaker 17: You know, and I think it's because so much is, I mean, at our fingertips, right, with AI and just technology. Everything is smart. Our phones are smart.
00:45:07
Speaker 1: Our cars are smart.
00:45:09
Speaker 5: Our home devices are smart. And so if you're not careful.
00:45:13
Speaker 17: You know, I'm raising three kids in this age. Sam, when we grew up, well, when you grew up, phones, regular landline phones.
00:45:21
Speaker 5: Didn't exist when you grew up. But when I grew up.
00:45:24
Speaker 1: First of all, let's keep it on the leper song.
00:45:27
Speaker 5: Okay, my bad. When I grew up, cell phones weren't even out. And now there's just so many distractions, man, you know?
00:45:33
Speaker 17: And so, yeah, I do believe we're up against that, the distracted generation, and reminding them all, hey, man, let's be grateful.
00:45:40
Speaker 5: Let's slow down. Let's be grateful.
00:45:42
Speaker 4: This season you're in, bruh, new book, new music, upcoming revivals.
00:45:49
Speaker 1: You've been crashing out on Divine 9.
00:45:52
Speaker 2: Can we talk?
00:45:53
Speaker 1: Let me just say that. Because... Make it make sense to me. I ain't go to school. I already knew what I wanted to be when I grew up.
00:46:03
Speaker 4: But you really are saying some things that are making other people go, whoa.
00:46:08
Speaker 5: Yeah.
00:46:08
Speaker 10: Yeah.
00:46:09
Speaker 5: You know, that's interesting for me, man.
00:46:11
Speaker 17: Let me first, I guess, give a disclaimer that my posture and my heart is not to throw stones or to condemn anyone, right? The Bible says, Paul wrote, therefore, no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.
00:46:25
Speaker 1: But the Bible also says.
00:46:26
Speaker 5: That my people perish for lack of knowledge.
00:46:28
Speaker 1: And I honestly believe when it comes.
00:46:31
Speaker 17: To specifically that of Greek mythology, we have been bamboozled as a people. I believe that with all my heart from someone who would, this isn't just stuff I read about. I was at the ceremony myself. And And, you know, we're talking 20 years removed. But when I felt inclined to go back and this is what I tell my people, man, just go and do the research yourself. Like, go back and read specifically. And I want you to hear my language. The rituals, the official ceremony rituals for whatever organization that was, whether it was Freemason, Eastern.
00:47:04
Speaker 5: Star or Divine Nine.
00:47:06
Speaker 17: Read the rituals, and as a born-again spiritual believer, you'd be.
00:47:11
Speaker 5: Shocked at the language.
00:47:13
Speaker 17: And I mean it's very explicit in many of these organizations, if not all of them.
00:47:17
Speaker 5: It's very explicit, adulterous language. It's explicit. It's unavoidable.
00:47:22
Speaker 17: Where you're having to say a prayer to Greek gods and plural. You know, there's language even in the capital ritual where it's, man, may the gods protect me.
00:47:34
Speaker 5: This is a language. May you follow me with your spirit, Apollo, and protect me.
00:47:38
Speaker 17: And so once I went back soberly, and this is where it gets kind of iffy because I think we– And the people sometimes jump to the defense without being sober enough to say, all.
00:47:49
Speaker 5: Right, let me actually read it.
00:47:51
Speaker 19: And that's all I'm.
00:47:51
Speaker 5: Going to be able to do. Hey, read it.
00:47:53
Speaker 17: And once you read it from a spirit-filled lens, now you're not on the yard, you know.
00:47:58
Speaker 5: Doing your steps and stuff. You've grown with kids. Slow down a little bit. Go back and reread some of the oaths that you made.
00:48:04
Speaker 17: And I think it will absolutely shock you, some of the things that you've spoken over yourself.
00:48:08
Speaker 5: And spirits only have access by way of of exposure and confession. And so I think we have to be good.
00:48:16
Speaker 4: Yeah. Ladies and gentlemen, get up nation is Travis green, man. His new song is called a leper song is here as him and our girl, Kiera, sheer Kelly trap. How can we stay in contact with you and your church?
00:48:29
Speaker 5: Travis green TV.
00:48:31
Speaker 17: Is my Instagram handle, the church is forwardcitychurch. And my wife, I always got to shout her out, Dr. Jackie, who is a preaching machine. But she's all over social as well. And we're just grateful, man, grateful for the support. Griff, I know we got to go, but I got to slow down and just tell you, thank you, man.
00:48:47
Speaker 5: You've been an advocate. You've been a real big brother. I know we tease each other a lot every chance we get, but I got mad, mad, mad love for you, man. You're a real one.
00:48:56
Speaker 17: And I wish you nothing but the best, man, and continued kingdom success.
00:49:00
Speaker 1: Love you, homie. Hey, you guys, stick around, man.
00:49:02
Speaker 4: The Get Up Poe is up next right here on Get Up Mornings with Erica Campbell.
00:49:07
Speaker 1: The Leopard Song. Say thank you sometime.
00:49:20
Speaker 2: You're listening to Get Up. Get up morning with Erica Gamble. Find out what everybody's talking about right now.

00:50:05
Speaker 1: Visit OneVote2026. com for more information.
00:50:10
Speaker 6: All right, Shawnee, tell us what is trending today.
00:50:12
Speaker 11: Well, this morning we're starting trending topics off with a heartbreaking story. B2K singer Raz B and his wife Mona Lee are mourning the unexpected loss of their three-month-old son, Astro Monte Thornton.
00:50:26
Speaker 12: Now, Atlanta police responded to.
00:50:28
Speaker 11: A person down call at the family's home earlier this month where baby Astro was found unresponsive and later pronounced dead at the scene.
00:50:36
Speaker 12: According to the police report, investigators.
00:50:38
Speaker 11: Found no obvious signs of trauma or foul play, and autopsy has been completed, but the official cause and manner of death are still pending. Rasby and Mona have asked for privacy as their family deals with this unimaginable loss. So this morning, we're keeping them lifted in prayer. There really are no words when a parent loses a child.
00:51:01
Speaker 16: None.
00:51:02
Speaker 12: None whatsoever.
00:51:04
Speaker 1: This weekend.
00:51:05
Speaker 11: there was some controversy with Converse.
00:51:10
Speaker 1: Yeah.
00:51:10
Speaker 11: And Converse is apologizing after an advertisement featuring Karina from the K-pop group Aspa.
00:51:20
Speaker 6: Aspa.
00:51:21
Speaker 11: Caused a major backlash online now the photo showed her holding a pair of converse sneakers while standing under a light that created a white triangular shape critics said the image resembled the Ku Klux Klan hood while the positioning of the dangling shoes reminded some viewers of imagery associated with.
00:51:41
Speaker 1: It was weird It was just weird. Like who thought like Erica, who said, OK, I second this.
00:51:47
Speaker 4: This is a good one. Let's go. Like nobody had no questions. It just looked weird and eerie.
00:51:54
Speaker 6: Yeah, absolutely.
00:51:56
Speaker 13: And the thing is, is because of the climate that we get in, we're in. People know that there's a bunch of folks that help sit around and make this decision. It wasn't one person. So it wasn't like one person made a mistake. There's the photo shoots. There's the approvals. There's the, which shot are you going to pick? And everybody decides. So this is a number of people that did this. So it's not like you can't just give us one little, Oh, Oh, I'm so.
00:52:17
Speaker 1: Oh, we didn't mean it.
00:52:19
Speaker 6: It wasn't like that.
00:52:20
Speaker 13: No, everybody's asking questions about, is this, I mean, we, we, we're careful with this show.
00:52:26
Speaker 6: Come on. You mean to tell me nobody knew that that's what that looked like.
00:52:29
Speaker 16: Right.
00:52:30
Speaker 5: Yeah. Sorry.
00:52:31
Speaker 9: Sorry.
00:52:32
Speaker 12: And the latest reports.
00:52:33
Speaker 11: So Karina and her management have not said anything publicly, but everybody has the same question that Griff had. How did this make it through those meetings and approval?
00:52:44
Speaker 12: So this is another reminder for these major brands.
00:52:47
Speaker 11: Representation can't stop with who's in front of the camera. You need people in the room who understand how an image may land before you hit post.
00:52:57
Speaker 6: Absolutely.
00:52:58
Speaker 11: Ooh, now, I bet y'all had a question, because I had a question all week.
00:53:01
Speaker 12: I wasn't understanding the gas prices.
00:53:04
Speaker 5: Yo.
00:53:05
Speaker 1: Wait a minute.
00:53:06
Speaker 4: Well, we can't say nothing about California gas prices, but Atlanta casually snuck up to $ 4.
00:53:12
Speaker 18: 26 a gallon.
00:53:13
Speaker 1: Yeah.
00:53:13
Speaker 4: Missed me with $ 4.
00:53:14
Speaker 10: 26.
00:53:14
Speaker 2: Warren paid $ 1.
00:53:14
Speaker 6: 42 to fill his car yesterday.
00:53:16
Speaker 3: Jeez. Oh, I know.
00:53:16
Speaker 8: I know.
00:53:22
Speaker 9: I got a little Honda Civic and it usually only cost me about twenty five dollars.
00:53:33
Speaker 11: I'm having to pay forty eight. We're up to four dollars in Texas. And I know that's low to everybody else, but everything is different. across the nation now AAA is saying there's the national.
00:53:46
Speaker 12: Average is about $ 4.
00:53:47
Speaker 11: 48 a gallon now just a year ago it.
00:53:51
Speaker 12: Was around $ 3. 20 and.
00:53:54
Speaker 11: AAA is saying that you know the high crude oil prices and this whole thing surrounding the Strait of Jumeirah is helping drive up these prices now here's what could happen too and how it could hit us twice the grocery store yes because already shipping yeah the diesel fuel that's what farmers use to harvest their crops truckers use it to move our food and for them it's right as averaging right around $ 6. 29 a gallon so we have to see my understanding is that some over 500 truckers are going to take strike this week. So it might put us in a situation.
00:54:38
Speaker 13: And those numbers are higher in L.A. For L.A., the regular price is $ 6. 21 per gallon.
00:54:43
Speaker 6: And diesel is $ 8.
00:54:43
Speaker 4: 39.
00:54:43
Speaker 3: Oh, Lord.
00:54:51
Speaker 11: Everybody don't run out and go buy 47 cans of green beans, okay? There's not evidence of a nationwide food shortage right now, but there are legitimate concerns about higher costs and pressure on food supply chains. So, USDA already is forecasting overall food prices to rise about 3%.
00:55:13
Speaker 12: So, this message.
00:55:15
Speaker 1: Man, your president did all that, Shawnee.
00:55:20
Speaker 11: Okay we're not supposed to be political But just make sure you pay attention Plan the grocery budget And don't panic buy Because between the pump and the groceries Our wallets are definitely Paying attention Let.
00:55:34
Speaker 13: Me just encourage y'all heart with this And my God shall supply all my needs According to his riches and glory Amen We operate on the kingdom system God gonna take good care of us Be smart be wise and pay attention All right, I'm sorry.
00:55:47
Speaker 6: You didn't ask for my help with Trinity.
00:55:48
Speaker 1: Young Jesus, see? I don't take no days off. Thank you for that, Griff.
00:55:53
Speaker 11: All right, let's keep Raz being his wife, Mona, in our prayers.
00:55:57
Speaker 12: And that's what's trending. All right, and happy birthday.
00:56:00
Speaker 11: Goes out to Alfonso Ribeiro.
00:56:02
Speaker 18: How nice.
00:56:03
Speaker 12: Jason Derulo.
00:56:05
Speaker 1: Mama D.
00:56:05
Speaker 5: Mama D.
00:56:06
Speaker 11: Judge Faith Jenkins' birthday is today.
00:56:10
Speaker 12: Billy Porter and Wale.
00:56:12
Speaker 9: Nice.
00:56:13
Speaker 6: Happy birthday, everybody.
00:56:15
Speaker 5: All right.
00:56:16
Speaker 4: Cowboys, the Cowboys beat the commanders. Wale's sick today on his birthday. That's all right.
00:56:22
Speaker 6: Get up mornings, y'all.
00:56:24
Speaker 13: I'm Erica Campbell, loving Jesus and loving you. And we are at the end of our time. It's been a great morning. We always love what we do. We love this show. Griff, what'd you love today?
00:56:34

00:56:46
Speaker 1: You know what Get Up Nation acronym is? Gun. Get Up Nation.
00:56:51
Speaker 5: G-U-N.
00:56:52
Speaker 15: No.
00:56:53
Speaker 6: No, it's not awesome. No, I don't like it. Y'all thank y'all for being with us.
00:57:01
Speaker 1: I pray you enjoy the rest of your day.
00:57:03
Speaker 13: These weird old acronyms.
00:57:08
Speaker 1: No, sir. All right, y'all.
00:57:13
Speaker 6: Let's end with the word of prayer.
00:57:15
Speaker 13: Lord, you are good in your mercy and do it forever. We thank you for this day. Thank you for strength. Thank you for purpose. Thank you for life. Bless us as we go through the rest of our day. Help us to remember that we are yours in the center of your will and in the palm of your hand. Cover us with your blood. Keep us safe from all hurt, harm, and danger. And we'll give you all praise, glory, and honor. Satan, you're defeated. You're under our feet. You have no place, power, or authority. We send you back to the pit in the mighty name of Jesus, I pray.
00:57:39
Speaker 6: Thank God.
00:57:39
Speaker 1: Amen. Amen.
00:57:42
Speaker 5: Amen.
00:57:42
Speaker 1: All right, y'all.
