But you comin' nigga, but you coming nigga.
00:00:02.720 --> 00:00:03.439
Yeah, okay.
00:00:03.919 --> 00:00:06.480

00:00:06.959 --> 00:00:09.679
Niggas bust a witch, cause they've been saving since November.
00:00:09.919 --> 00:00:12.480
Well, I'm from is gangsters, but no savings for the sinner.
00:00:12.640 --> 00:00:13.279
New bad to porch.
00:00:15.519 --> 00:00:18.640
We ain't even getting to the three feet spice, we just got vibe with your boys.
00:00:19.120 --> 00:00:21.760
Running through blocks like Terrell Davis didn't differ.
00:00:22.079 --> 00:00:24.960
When I feel trouble, I sense the danger I will pick up.
00:00:25.120 --> 00:00:27.920
But I'ma interviews just like it came without a hiccup.
00:00:29.600 --> 00:00:30.960
Like frames on a picture.
00:00:31.120 --> 00:00:33.920
She back from the yard, and I see changes in the figure.
00:00:34.240 --> 00:00:36.719
A block shift on my strip, ain't made for no beginner.
00:00:37.600 --> 00:00:39.840
Feel like the drop to even trade for it and chill her.
00:00:39.920 --> 00:00:43.119
Get this thing rolling and blazed through you with ages, you were quicker.
00:00:43.359 --> 00:00:46.000
He only 17 and gone through phases of a killer.
00:00:46.399 --> 00:00:49.119
You know my agenda, pirates over the blender.
00:00:49.359 --> 00:00:50.799
She cut you broke niggas off.
00:00:50.960 --> 00:00:52.159
The fucker big spender.
00:00:52.479 --> 00:00:53.359
The butcher comin'.
00:00:53.600 --> 00:00:55.359
These rappers went in my spot for years.
00:00:56.079 --> 00:00:57.359
Success, they got was mid.
00:00:57.520 --> 00:00:59.039
Deep down, they wanna swap the race.
00:00:59.759 --> 00:01:00.960
And I was well to niggas.
00:01:01.119 --> 00:01:05.599
Don't let the rumors of Griselda split and force your overconfidence to fail, you niggas.
00:01:05.760 --> 00:01:07.680
In a position I had to embrace.
00:01:07.840 --> 00:01:11.439
Every classic I made gave status and weight to these rappers of state.
00:01:11.680 --> 00:01:13.599
The work pale like Dracula Face.
00:01:13.920 --> 00:01:17.439
Straps on our waist, we buckled up like I'm tryna keep my passengers safe.
00:01:17.840 --> 00:01:20.400
Hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up, man.
00:01:21.359 --> 00:01:22.879
That ain't even my vibe today.
00:01:22.959 --> 00:01:27.920
That shit got me in a shit a little shit a little fire right there.
00:01:28.159 --> 00:01:30.239

We back though, man.
00:01:36.400 --> 00:01:37.599
Do this thing again.
00:01:37.920 --> 00:01:39.120
Like we always do with this.
00:03:04.719 --> 00:03:08.240

00:03:26.879 --> 00:03:28.319
And we in a different mood today.
00:03:28.400 --> 00:03:29.599
We're in a different bag, you know.
00:03:29.680 --> 00:03:32.639
I've been real, real hard lately.
00:03:32.800 --> 00:03:33.599
Pause, you know.
00:03:34.080 --> 00:03:38.800
This move last week, not so hard, I would say, but you know, today we're gonna talk to the lady hustlers.
00:03:38.879 --> 00:03:46.000
So as always, if you hear, ring off the air horn, talking more.
00:03:46.240 --> 00:03:50.000
I'm 40 now, so you know they say I gotta start acting your age, you know.
00:03:50.479 --> 00:03:57.840
My back ain't really hurting anymore, you know, my body still feels good, but you know, uh I feel of a certain decade, you know.
00:03:57.919 --> 00:04:01.199
You know I'm called the millennial music wire for a reason.
00:04:01.520 --> 00:04:04.879
And I ain't a DJ, I'm just a good guy with fire tunes.
00:04:04.960 --> 00:04:06.240
Today we're gonna take this thing back.
00:04:06.319 --> 00:04:08.240
We're gonna talk to ladies one time.
00:04:08.560 --> 00:04:09.759
Let's get it.
00:04:12.639 --> 00:04:15.280
If you know this one, you know how I go.
00:04:16.959 --> 00:04:21.680
Ignant levels of volumes wherever you at, wherever you watching, wherever you're listening from.
00:04:21.839 --> 00:04:24.639
Come along with your boy as we get to this three piece spicy ladies.
00:04:27.920 --> 00:04:36.639
I love you, I can love you, I can love you, I can love you, I can love you word for word if you know it, it's time to go.
00:04:40.399 --> 00:04:42.879
Wondering why you don't love me.
00:04:43.120 --> 00:04:43.920
Get in that bag.
00:04:44.000 --> 00:04:45.920
Forty's enough, fifties enough, where y'all lap.
00:04:46.079 --> 00:04:46.480
I love you.
00:04:46.720 --> 00:04:47.680
Come along with your boy.
00:04:55.680 --> 00:05:02.800
And you know my love is real boy I can love my talk to 'em.
00:05:05.120 --> 00:05:07.439
Big hater vibes, but talk to him, ladies.
00:05:08.639 --> 00:05:10.000
Hate on that bitch.
00:05:22.480 --> 00:05:23.360
Second verse.
00:05:25.759 --> 00:05:27.600
And you know we gotta rock through the kimp verse too.
00:05:27.680 --> 00:05:29.439
We ain't leaving for the kimp verse, get comfy.
00:05:35.279 --> 00:05:38.720
So make sure that you can put me.
00:05:39.600 --> 00:05:42.639
And you know the reason Shit just feel good in the summertime.
00:05:45.120 --> 00:05:50.399
Body ain't as stiff, it ain't as cold out, muscles relax, shoulders move a little bit different.
00:05:50.639 --> 00:05:52.319
Should feel good in the summertime.
00:05:52.560 --> 00:05:54.319
Five out one time with it.
00:06:05.279 --> 00:06:06.399
Yes, ladies.
00:06:07.839 --> 00:06:09.120
Yes, fellas.
00:06:19.680 --> 00:06:24.800
Talk to them, side to side, roll them shoulders, bop their head.
00:06:26.319 --> 00:06:32.399
Queen B, too be foldable booty, like a groupie for mouse.
00:06:32.639 --> 00:06:35.199
Arm a truck, ice, get the bonus like the boot skate.
00:06:35.439 --> 00:06:37.759
In love with you since the days of juice day.
00:06:38.000 --> 00:06:43.279
Now I watch you play Columbo, a fashion, tricks up colossals, turn your castle to brothers.
00:06:43.360 --> 00:06:45.759
Uh Who you love and who you wanna be hugging?
00:06:49.759 --> 00:06:53.839
Nobody to change, find physical fitness, little bit long, stay with me.
00:06:54.720 --> 00:06:58.959
Under pressure, I lie for you, lie for you, Google Bottles, lie for you, right here.
00:07:00.399 --> 00:07:02.000
Because of you, I'm inherited.
00:07:02.079 --> 00:07:05.360
Trillion, being billion, fiddly coops, million.
00:07:05.839 --> 00:07:07.920
Playing disamined in the chevy.
00:07:11.360 --> 00:07:17.360
Listen, man, we're gonna keep this thing rollin', keep it smooth, keep it sexy, keep it vibing.
00:07:18.240 --> 00:07:20.000
I get too long, like it's a little bit.
00:07:20.160 --> 00:07:23.759
If you have a certain time, certain place, several era, you might remember this joint.
00:07:25.759 --> 00:07:30.079
The Queen Janet, the niggas, the black freak.
00:07:33.680 --> 00:07:34.399
Let's go.
00:07:35.199 --> 00:07:36.800
Win a different back space.
00:07:48.879 --> 00:07:49.920
Yes, we do.
00:07:54.560 --> 00:07:58.000
My girl out of town for the past two days that bed too cold at night.
00:07:58.560 --> 00:08:00.720
Queen Christine lonely out here.
00:08:13.199 --> 00:08:13.519
Yes.
00:08:20.560 --> 00:08:28.720
I'm not gonna stick along with me.
00:08:38.000 --> 00:08:38.799
Get him though.
00:08:53.279 --> 00:08:54.879
What top of black street?
00:08:55.039 --> 00:08:56.559
What's up a good R and B?
00:08:57.039 --> 00:08:59.759
What's up a plastic plastic tool?
00:09:13.679 --> 00:09:14.240
Now what?
00:09:21.360 --> 00:09:22.000
Call me, baby.
00:09:24.159 --> 00:09:29.200
Please beg you to stay.
00:09:35.519 --> 00:09:36.960
We got all kind of vibes.
00:09:37.440 --> 00:09:39.759
We transvival with this three piece test.
00:09:43.120 --> 00:09:48.799
If you never heard of Trans Bible, you ain't gonna hear the deep burger.
00:09:50.879 --> 00:09:52.639
Gotta go to the bridge on this one.
00:09:52.879 --> 00:09:54.159
Gotta go to the bridge on this one.
00:09:54.240 --> 00:09:56.799
If we don't install, let's get that bad.
00:09:57.200 --> 00:10:01.360
Like I said, rolling shoulders, play that crib, ride that whip down the street.
00:10:08.159 --> 00:10:09.759
It's just a good feeling.
00:10:13.840 --> 00:10:15.200
We're a little bit long for this one.
00:10:15.360 --> 00:10:16.159
Let's do the classic.
00:10:16.480 --> 00:10:17.120
Enjoy it.
00:10:17.600 --> 00:10:18.960
Go along for the ride.
00:10:30.399 --> 00:10:31.600
One time for the bridge.
00:10:32.320 --> 00:10:34.080
Break it down, break it down.
00:10:36.080 --> 00:10:38.960
Break it down, break it down, break it down.
00:10:39.200 --> 00:10:39.600
Yeah.
00:10:40.000 --> 00:10:42.559
Break it down, break it down, break it down.
00:10:42.960 --> 00:10:43.519
One time.
00:10:57.200 --> 00:11:00.000
You can hear it, they really feel it, they really mean it.
00:11:00.399 --> 00:11:02.799
Different time, different place, different era.
00:11:04.159 --> 00:11:05.120
Check this out, man.
00:11:05.200 --> 00:11:06.960
We're gonna keep this three-piece thing going.
00:11:07.039 --> 00:11:09.360
One time, round applause for yourself.
00:11:09.519 --> 00:11:16.399
If you alive, if you're breathing, if you're above six feet above ground, it's a good day to be.
00:11:17.120 --> 00:11:18.879
It's a good day to just exist.
00:11:19.919 --> 00:11:23.600
And it's a good day to come along for the three-piece spicy as we get to another record.
00:11:23.840 --> 00:11:24.480
Talk to me.
00:11:25.919 --> 00:11:26.720
Big boy.
00:11:28.159 --> 00:11:30.159
Ladies, we still talking to you fellas.
00:11:30.559 --> 00:11:31.679
Come along for the ride.
00:11:32.799 --> 00:11:34.639
Let's speak to the female listenership.
00:11:34.799 --> 00:11:36.000
It's a female viewership today.
00:11:38.720 --> 00:11:39.759
Ain't y'all really feel me?
00:11:42.320 --> 00:11:43.279
Big shoulder box.
00:11:44.240 --> 00:11:45.360
Side to side, let's ride.
00:11:46.720 --> 00:11:48.559
I got the peace, post feeling.
00:11:52.399 --> 00:11:55.679
I've been watching you like the hole in the sky.
00:11:55.840 --> 00:11:58.240
And I will my prey.
00:11:58.720 --> 00:12:00.480
One time for the goat, one time for the legend.
00:12:00.799 --> 00:12:04.639
If we keep it gone too soon, let these little niggas know about it.
00:12:04.879 --> 00:12:05.440
Aaliyah.
00:12:06.399 --> 00:12:09.440
We don't need a little on the phone.
00:12:13.200 --> 00:12:15.279
I've been holding back this thing.
00:12:15.600 --> 00:12:18.559
Big Timbo on the beat, one of the best producers ever.
00:12:26.399 --> 00:12:28.159
Are you responsible?
00:12:33.440 --> 00:12:34.639
Remember this video.
00:12:35.200 --> 00:12:36.879
Remember the dance routine.
00:12:37.440 --> 00:12:38.799
Remember the soundtrack.
00:12:39.360 --> 00:12:42.080
Niggas forgot about the Doctor Doolittle soundtrack.
00:12:42.960 --> 00:12:44.159
Millennial shit.
00:12:44.559 --> 00:12:46.240
We too young to sit this one out.
00:12:52.480 --> 00:12:54.559
Everyone sleeps, sleep, sleep.
00:12:54.960 --> 00:12:58.799
I'll be waiting there when my truth, my nose, a hat.
00:12:59.120 --> 00:13:00.960
Just so I'm low-key.
00:13:01.759 --> 00:13:08.000
If you tell the word Oh boy.
00:13:08.720 --> 00:13:09.759
See, I'm trusting you.
00:13:10.159 --> 00:13:12.799
Feeling good, looking good, living good.
00:13:13.440 --> 00:13:14.480
Sing along with it.
00:13:21.759 --> 00:13:23.519
I hope you're responsible.
00:13:32.399 --> 00:13:34.320
Shout out to the new RB and all that.
00:13:34.639 --> 00:13:37.840
All the people really doing their thing when the RB side, but come on, man.
00:13:37.919 --> 00:13:40.720
This is a different time, different place, different era.
00:13:41.200 --> 00:13:41.600
Timbo.
00:13:50.240 --> 00:13:51.840
Don't you know I am the man?
00:13:52.000 --> 00:13:53.360
Rock show here, is in Japan.
00:13:53.600 --> 00:13:55.039
They don't make them like they used to.
00:13:55.200 --> 00:13:56.000
They just don't.
00:13:57.200 --> 00:13:58.320
Better known as Ali.
00:13:59.039 --> 00:14:00.399
Give me cool bust that hot leaf.
00:14:00.559 --> 00:14:02.639
Speak bigger play haters, but leave believe.
00:14:02.879 --> 00:14:03.600
Don't you know?
00:14:04.240 --> 00:14:05.600
Gotta tell somebody.
00:14:07.360 --> 00:14:07.759
Uh-huh.
00:14:09.039 --> 00:14:09.600
Say word.
00:14:10.960 --> 00:14:12.080
Listen, man.
00:14:12.960 --> 00:14:15.279
Wake that ass up if you haven't yet.
00:14:15.519 --> 00:14:17.840
And if you ain't, I don't you a different kind of sleep.
00:14:18.080 --> 00:14:19.519
Off of those tunes right there.
00:14:19.600 --> 00:14:21.279
You a different kind of sleep.
00:14:21.759 --> 00:14:23.840
Different, different kind of sleep for real.
00:14:24.000 --> 00:14:31.440
But you know, whoever you are, wherever you're listening from, appreciate you coming along to join the pre-part and D Bird 3P Spicy.

00:14:39.440 --> 00:14:40.799
Those of you listening out there, man.
00:14:40.879 --> 00:14:42.799
I see y'all coming in from all over the place, man.
00:14:42.879 --> 00:14:45.440
I see a little Buddha patch on there the other day.
00:14:45.519 --> 00:14:48.960
I don't know how y'all are catching my shit, but listen, keep on doing it.
00:14:49.360 --> 00:14:50.320
We appreciate it.
00:14:50.960 --> 00:14:52.799
Most definitely appreciate it.
00:14:53.039 --> 00:14:57.120
And as always, man, as we get to this thing, we are back for another audio occasion.
00:14:57.200 --> 00:15:01.279
It is the podcast for self-starters and those willing to make the most out of any situation.
00:15:01.360 --> 00:15:03.759
The EFS podcast is big time back.
00:15:04.559 --> 00:15:13.039
And today, we just gonna tap in for a little conversation, start provoking out the gate for those of you out there again willing to make the most out of any situation.
00:15:13.279 --> 00:15:17.279
Who you know may not have the support of the people that you know, whatever, all that other shit.
00:15:17.360 --> 00:15:19.840
But yeah, listen, man, listen up this one for y'all.
00:15:21.039 --> 00:15:23.360
It's until you no longer need the support to goodness.
00:15:23.840 --> 00:15:27.919
Why do people wait until you no longer need the support to finally give it to you?
00:15:28.159 --> 00:15:30.320
Because most people don't support potential.
00:15:31.039 --> 00:15:33.200
They support proof that supporting you is safe.
00:15:34.399 --> 00:15:39.120
When you're unknown, struggling, and building something nobody can verify yet.
00:15:39.440 --> 00:15:42.080
Cheering for you requires actual belief.
00:15:42.320 --> 00:15:44.480
They have to risk being wrong.
00:15:44.720 --> 00:15:50.240
They have to take your ambition seriously before the results make it socially acceptable.
00:15:50.559 --> 00:16:00.799
And most people are essentially saying, I would love to believe in your dream, but first it should pass a background check, become profitable, and receive approval from strangers.
00:16:01.120 --> 00:16:10.240
So while you're in the mud, posting to 12 people, losing money, questioning yourself, and trying to build something from nothing, it's silence.
00:16:10.559 --> 00:16:15.039
Maybe a few polite likes from your mother and somebody from high school.
00:16:15.360 --> 00:16:20.000
But once it works, now all of a sudden everyone understands the vision.
00:16:20.240 --> 00:16:22.240
Now they always knew you had it in you.
00:16:22.480 --> 00:16:26.000
The obsession they called unrealistic becomes discipline.
00:16:26.159 --> 00:16:32.639
The risks they called irresponsible become courage, and the idea they ignored becomes inspiring.
00:16:32.960 --> 00:16:37.519
Now nothing changed except the scoreboard gave them permission to agree with you.
00:16:37.759 --> 00:16:43.519
And then people who never shared your work start saying, I've been watching you for years.
00:16:45.759 --> 00:16:46.720
And that's that, man.
00:16:46.879 --> 00:16:48.399
We ain't gonna go the whole thing, man.
00:16:48.480 --> 00:16:50.799
Just the just the most impactful piece of that one.
00:16:51.519 --> 00:16:53.519
So listen, man, we are here.
00:16:53.919 --> 00:16:55.200
Back for another episode.
00:16:55.360 --> 00:16:57.840
We got episode number 83 in the house.
00:16:58.480 --> 00:17:02.960
And as always, man, as we kick this thing off, you know I gotta let my theme music run.
00:17:03.440 --> 00:17:07.599
Give me a one, two, three, an abundance of air horn.
00:17:07.759 --> 00:17:08.559
Get that ass enough.
00:17:08.720 --> 00:17:09.599
Yeah, come along.
00:17:10.400 --> 00:17:11.039
Come along.
00:17:11.440 --> 00:17:12.559
We still have our sound.
00:17:12.720 --> 00:17:14.160
We still live a life in the summertime.
00:17:14.319 --> 00:17:16.000
Mick summer still a vibe.
00:17:20.240 --> 00:17:26.000
And as always, if you made it to the audio slash visual occasion, please do not forget to like, comment, share, and subscribe.
00:17:26.160 --> 00:17:27.839
I'm here for episode number 83.
00:17:27.920 --> 00:17:33.839
This is your boy, the man, the myth, the legend from the EFS brand, himself, the biggest brand that you don't know about yet, Mr.
00:17:33.920 --> 00:17:34.640
EFS, Mr.
00:17:34.720 --> 00:17:36.079
1% 200, Mr.
00:17:36.160 --> 00:17:37.119
Big 40.
00:17:37.359 --> 00:17:37.680
Mr.
00:17:37.759 --> 00:17:39.920
Big 40, embrace it.
00:17:40.079 --> 00:17:41.200
Take a look at it.
00:17:41.359 --> 00:17:42.720
My skin glowing.
00:17:42.880 --> 00:17:44.240
My health is right.
00:17:44.640 --> 00:17:46.400
My spirit is in alignment.
00:17:47.119 --> 00:17:49.039
Look, time 40's supposed to look right here.
00:17:49.279 --> 00:17:50.880
A little bit on the Leo side of things.
00:17:50.960 --> 00:17:52.160
It's still Leo season.
00:17:52.319 --> 00:17:53.759
It's still a little Leo season.
00:17:53.839 --> 00:17:55.839
We still out here talking our Leo shit.
00:17:56.000 --> 00:17:58.880
And we're still enjoying our life because someone from the Lion Order.
00:17:59.039 --> 00:18:01.920
But that said, man, we'll get the famous theme music out.
00:18:02.079 --> 00:18:03.599
Thank you for joining me.
00:18:04.000 --> 00:18:05.440
Coming to check Leo out.
00:18:05.599 --> 00:18:09.759
And as always, like I said before, make sure you like, comment, share, and subscribe.
00:18:09.839 --> 00:18:12.000
We love the love over here at the EFS Podcast.
00:18:12.079 --> 00:18:14.240
We appreciate every little piece of it that we get.
00:18:14.400 --> 00:18:18.720
So as we tap in for eighth episode number 83, big round of applause for yourself.
00:18:19.440 --> 00:18:24.000
Big round of applause for all the Leos out there celebrating big birthdays.
00:18:24.079 --> 00:18:24.480
I see them.
00:18:24.640 --> 00:18:27.119
Got a lot of Leos in my family specifically.
00:18:27.359 --> 00:18:29.759
And just a lot of Leos spreading love out there, man.
00:18:29.839 --> 00:18:31.279
We still living off birthday energy.
00:18:31.359 --> 00:18:34.160
We ain't gonna rock it out for the whole birthday month type of thing.
00:18:34.240 --> 00:18:35.920
You know, we leave that to the ladies and all that.
00:18:36.000 --> 00:18:38.559
But yeah, man, we still appreciate life.
00:18:38.720 --> 00:18:41.359
Um and that said, birthday was good last week.
00:18:41.519 --> 00:18:43.119
Uh stretched it out throughout the week.
00:18:43.279 --> 00:18:44.559
Birthday celebration was Friday.
00:18:44.640 --> 00:18:46.240
Thank you for everyone who came out.
00:18:46.400 --> 00:18:49.200
Uh enjoyed it, enjoyed y'all, you know.
00:18:49.359 --> 00:18:52.960
Um I looked over at Queen Christine, who was sitting next to me for the evening.
00:18:53.039 --> 00:18:59.440
Um at one moment, a little bit tipsy off of a couple of drinks to, you know, some of the people in attendance purchased for me.
00:18:59.519 --> 00:19:02.319
I said, my heart is full right now, you know.
00:19:02.559 --> 00:19:05.359
Um, and really that's it was no cap.
00:19:05.599 --> 00:19:09.759
That was really just how I felt, like looking around, seeing the people that were there to show up for me.
00:19:10.000 --> 00:19:16.079
Um, and I would say admittedly so not the best planning on my side about you know just celebrating a birthday.
00:19:16.160 --> 00:19:17.279
We talked about that already.
00:19:17.440 --> 00:19:34.160
Um for the people that did pop out, love y'all forever, you know, y'all, y'all, y'all are y'all are real, you know, whether it be the people that were my family, whether it be the people that were my supporters, the people that pay me for my services, who who still fuck with me in that kind of way, uh pulling up and showing love who's a great man.
00:19:34.240 --> 00:19:36.559
I got a little bit drunker than I do recently.
00:19:36.880 --> 00:19:41.519
You know, I'm I'm not a drinker, so I got a little bit drunker than I do normally uh at this stage in my life.
00:19:41.680 --> 00:19:43.119
And I've been feeling it all week.
00:19:43.200 --> 00:19:50.880
Um to the week, yeah, but the the the effects of of excess and alcohol uh definitely sitting into my system.
00:19:50.960 --> 00:19:56.400
My workouts ain't really been feeling the best, but you know, sometimes you you just gotta deal with that.
00:19:56.640 --> 00:20:00.559
And for the right reasons, you know, we we go out there, we we celebrate.
00:20:00.720 --> 00:20:03.440
And you know, again, happy to be here at 40.
00:20:04.079 --> 00:20:05.440
Said all of it before.
00:20:05.680 --> 00:20:12.480
Um but moving forward, man, we'll open this thing up for the topic of conversations or the topic of my perspectives, I guess.
00:20:12.640 --> 00:20:16.640
Um, and first and foremost, we'll open up for a little bit of hoop talk.
00:20:16.720 --> 00:20:19.599
Um and a little bit of controversy, I would say.
00:20:19.759 --> 00:20:24.400
Um, and today's talk, I guess, circles around the WNBA.
00:20:24.559 --> 00:20:46.079
Um some of the recent splash that they've had in the media circles and just uh the timelines with everything going on with uh the transgender rule for um the WNBA, sparking debate uh off of two NBA players, well two former NBA players, I would say, Ennis Cantor, former Nick, shout out to you, uh Roy Thai, uh former NBA player.
00:20:46.240 --> 00:20:49.759
Um has they both declared for the WNBA draft.
00:20:49.839 --> 00:20:51.759
If you've seen it in the news, then you know.
00:20:51.920 --> 00:21:00.960
Um but if you weren't aware, the WNBA has a rule basically saying that uh women are are allowed to play in the WNBA.
00:21:01.119 --> 00:21:21.440
Um the wording of which is a little bit vague and you know is a little bit open for interpretation, um, which is where we've had some WMBA players speaking out about, you know, the the fact that they are not necessarily the most supportive of uh transgender women or you know, women who were born men, um and who transitioned to be w to be women.
00:21:21.519 --> 00:21:28.000
Excuse me if I'm not saying it exactly correctly, um, but it is what it is as far as what the situation is, I would say.
00:21:28.240 --> 00:21:48.559
Um and uh I guess the boys stepped up to to kind of voice their opinions, to kind of make a mockery of the WMBA in a sense, uh, but to also, you know, point out some some things that may not look the the best to in life for the league, and some things that may not play out the best in the light of the league just because of, you know, the the rule itself.
00:21:48.720 --> 00:21:59.599
Uh so they both made posts saying that they was gonna declare for the WMBA, uh which to my first reaction I thought it was a little bit clout chasy, um and a little bit, you know, involving yourself inside.
00:22:00.160 --> 00:22:02.000
Something that really has nothing to do with you.
00:22:02.640 --> 00:22:11.680
But after looking deeper into it, I did understand the rationale behind it, which was to kind of stand up for the uh the women who are born women in the NBA.
00:22:12.079 --> 00:22:15.279
And the debate goes deeper and deeper and deeper.
00:22:18.880 --> 00:22:29.519
And myself, I don't want to act like, you know, people of that lifestyle or for that, you know, support people living their own lifestyle or doing what they want to do in that regard.
00:22:29.920 --> 00:22:43.359
But for me, what is the most glaring thing that we need to understand as people is that when it comes to sports competitions, men and women do not necessarily belong on the same playing field.
00:22:43.839 --> 00:22:58.960
And I say that in the most, I guess, inoffensive way possible, uh, just because men and women biologically, um, anatomically, and a lot of different ways you can slice this thing are not the same.
00:22:59.119 --> 00:23:05.759
Um, and I just don't believe that women who were even born when men belong in women's sports.
00:23:05.920 --> 00:23:07.920
Um and you could take it how you want to take it.
00:23:08.079 --> 00:23:16.240
I'm not here to really argue with anyone, you know, about that, but my perspective is that women's sports is for women's sports, men's sports is for men's sports.
00:23:16.319 --> 00:23:18.880
Um, and it's not to say there can't be some kind of cross sports.
00:23:18.960 --> 00:23:24.000
There are sports that play, you know, mixed doubles and things like that in tennis where men actually play with women.
00:23:24.079 --> 00:23:28.480
And it's not a thing to say that there is not a chance for men and women to compete together.
00:23:28.640 --> 00:23:49.039
Uh, but when it comes to specific sports to where there is a very, very huge athletic advantage, a very, very huge strength advantage, speed advantage, uh, overall, just you know, stronger, faster, et cetera, et cetera, like the WFBA, I do not believe it is a sport that is somewhere where you should mix men and women on the same court.
00:23:49.200 --> 00:23:53.119
Um, and we've seen men play women before, we've seen women beat men before.
00:23:53.279 --> 00:24:04.240
But when you're getting into a professional sports league uh where there's a lot of things, you know, riding on it, people's contracts, people's livelihood, all of that stuff to me, it just gets a little bit muddy.
00:24:04.319 --> 00:24:09.359
And I'm all for everyone living their own life as far as who they choose to identify as.
00:24:09.519 --> 00:24:14.160
You know, I say this with no malice, no hate or anything in my heart towards that community.
00:24:14.240 --> 00:24:24.640
Uh but simple fact that when you add that thing, add that into the mix for, again, men or women-born men playing in women's sports, the advantages is just so huge.
00:24:24.720 --> 00:24:35.279
And it goes back to, I think a couple years ago, there was a uh college swimmer who was the first transgender woman uh to openly compete in the NCAA Division I championships.
00:24:35.359 --> 00:24:47.279
Uh name was Leah Thomas, um, the transgender woman, and was shattering records and stuff like that and winning and won the 500-yard freestyle uh in March of 2022.
00:24:47.359 --> 00:24:48.799
So this is not too long ago.
00:24:48.960 --> 00:25:00.559
Um the career at the University of Pennsylvania had sparked a massive national debate uh regarding inclusion, fairness, and the biological differences in men's and women's sports.
00:25:00.640 --> 00:25:02.640
Um, so that's one case of it.
00:25:02.720 --> 00:25:12.319
You know, you got a transgender woman stepping into the game and into the pool, and then just again dominating the competition so much that it feels unfair.
00:25:12.400 --> 00:25:26.400
And it's not to say that there aren't areas where a woman can beat a man in this pool, because yeah, I'm sure if I jump in the pool versus another woman who's very trained, very, you know, she's got a lot of years, she's very seasoned at swimming, she's probably gonna wash me, and that's fine.
00:25:26.559 --> 00:25:35.680
But when you add a man who is, you know, doing the same kind of regimen of the same sport, of the same kind of training, I do believe it is a huge advantage for them.
00:25:35.759 --> 00:25:39.119
Um, and that's where things get a little bit unfair for the women, you know.
00:25:39.279 --> 00:25:57.759
I do feel bad for a lot of the ladies in that regard, just because a lot of times they work hard to put themselves in position to be seen, to be respected, uh, and and just, you know, revered, I guess, in a sports world, you know, and and we've seen great dominant women athletes throughout history.
00:25:57.839 --> 00:26:13.039
So I think for for that part of sport, it is great to see, you know, for that sex or that, you know, that that gender of people to have something for themselves, you know, like women's sports has grown, it's big now, especially in the WMBA, it's grown on a year-by-year basis.
00:26:13.200 --> 00:26:15.759
So what happens when you add that into the mix?
00:26:15.920 --> 00:26:22.079
We gets a little bit, you know, political in a sense, and and and uh it just gets muddy, you know.
00:26:22.160 --> 00:26:33.039
And for me, it's a lot, it's a lot behind it, and I think there's a lot in the world that, you know, makes this thing feel very tense and a conversation that we can't even really have.
00:26:33.200 --> 00:26:36.240
But from my perspective, it's just not a good mix.
00:26:36.319 --> 00:26:49.839
Like, yes, there are sports again where women and men can play together, but those are fewer and far between than just all leagues that have competitions and pay people to play sports and like that, you know, just just keep it away.
00:26:49.920 --> 00:27:02.960
I just don't believe, especially in basketball, that guys or men who are transitioning to women who identify as women throughout their lives, are you know that that's somewhere like just we gotta figure out something else with that.
00:27:03.119 --> 00:27:11.680
Like, I don't know exactly what the answer is, but we gotta figure something else with that because anything that I can think of may be considered even more divisive, even more this, even more that.
00:27:11.839 --> 00:27:24.400
But when you choose a certain path in your life, I do also think that you have to be okay with you know certain parts of things being, you know, excluded from that, you know.
00:27:24.720 --> 00:27:39.200
And hey, I'm not someone who is of that community, and I don't really try to tell people how of that community how they should think, but I do believe there should be room for respective dialogue about um, you know, how we work that out.
00:27:39.359 --> 00:27:40.799
And that's just that for me.
00:27:40.960 --> 00:27:42.640
Um, but hopefully they figured it out.
00:27:42.720 --> 00:27:48.240
I heard they're trying to rewrite the rules for the WNBA to make sure that you know things are quote unquote fair, all that stuff.
00:27:48.319 --> 00:27:50.480
But right now it's a little bit of a media firestorm.
00:27:50.559 --> 00:28:02.160
And I and my perspective is again that I do not believe that men born women belong in women's sports who are you know busting their ass to make a name for themselves in that way.
00:28:02.319 --> 00:28:03.359
Um, and that's that.
00:28:03.440 --> 00:28:04.880
You know, y'all can feel how y'all feel.
00:28:04.960 --> 00:28:05.839
Let me know how y'all feel.
00:28:05.920 --> 00:28:09.920
Again, I'm open for debate, but I'm not really open to change my perspective on this one.
00:28:10.079 --> 00:28:16.000
Uh, so moving forward, um, on the next piece of topics and things to talk about.
00:28:16.240 --> 00:28:17.839
NBA season opener.
00:28:18.720 --> 00:28:20.400
Let's talk about it, Philly.
00:28:20.559 --> 00:28:21.599
Let's talk about it.
00:28:21.759 --> 00:28:26.559
Uh, the Knicks are playing Philadelphia in the opening game of the NBA season.
00:28:26.799 --> 00:28:32.160
Um, I was a little bit surprised that they chose to make that the opening game.
00:28:32.240 --> 00:28:36.319
Uh, I thought they was gonna make it the Christmas game, but I ain't really a fan of what they did with the Christmas game.
00:28:36.400 --> 00:28:43.759
But the NBA schedules are out uh finally after LeBron decided to make his decision after holding things up for so long, according to Adam Silver.
00:28:43.920 --> 00:28:46.480
Um and yeah, man, we're gonna get to this shit right out the gate.
00:28:46.640 --> 00:28:47.519
Right out the gate, man.
00:28:47.599 --> 00:28:53.359
We're gonna see what the what the vibe is with these with these Philadelphia 76ers on opening night.
00:28:53.519 --> 00:28:56.799
Um, I think that it's a good way to start the season off.
00:28:56.880 --> 00:28:58.240
You know, I'm not mad about it.
00:28:58.319 --> 00:29:01.599
Because good matchups all across in the opening, uh, opening week.
00:29:01.759 --> 00:29:03.920
Uh obviously the games are still all over the place.
00:29:04.079 --> 00:29:13.039
So as far as the the streaming app or service that you need to be able to watch them, make sure you got your your services right and your subscriptions is up, headed to the NBA season at that point.
00:29:13.119 --> 00:29:15.039
We still got football to get to before that.
00:29:15.200 --> 00:29:20.240
But, you know, I I think that it's this is gonna be a good good way to start the season off.
00:29:20.400 --> 00:29:24.799
Does it mean you know the Philadelphia 76ers are better than the Knicks if the Knicks beat them?
00:29:24.960 --> 00:29:31.039
I mean, if the Sixers beat the Knicks, does it mean the Knicks are better than the Philadelphia 76ers if the Knicks beat them?
00:29:31.279 --> 00:29:32.559
Yes, from my perspective.
00:29:32.720 --> 00:29:33.759
Nah, I'm just talking shit.
00:29:33.839 --> 00:29:36.880
But I mean, I think it's a good test and great way to start the season off.
00:29:36.960 --> 00:29:46.079
So I'm glad that they did give us that because a lot of the talk online has been Knicks versus Sixers, Eastern Conference finals, you know, matchup and all that stuff.
00:29:46.160 --> 00:29:48.880
So yeah, it's good, it's a good way to kick things off, man.
00:29:48.960 --> 00:29:53.119
Uh, we still got a way to go before we get to basketball, still got football out there floating around.
00:29:53.279 --> 00:29:56.319
Giants open up this weekend with a preseason game.
00:29:56.400 --> 00:30:00.319
Um, was offered tickets to the game, and I may actually try to pop out for it.
00:30:00.400 --> 00:30:09.440
Um, not sure how that's gonna work out because I have some other obligations that I gotta take care of as far as getting Queen Christine from the airport coming back from her trip from being out of town.
00:30:09.680 --> 00:30:13.759
Um, but a lot of excited things coming up, man, as we close out this summer, man.
00:30:13.920 --> 00:30:21.119
Um, and moving forward, keeping it in sports as we do close out the summer, still off the heels of the World Cup energy.
00:30:21.200 --> 00:30:24.559
Um, and a lot of things going on in the soccer world.
00:30:24.720 --> 00:30:36.640
Um, I ain't gonna really get too much into the whole infantini thing, uh, as far as him trying to sell FIFA basically to private equity groups and the the drama that that caused.
00:30:36.720 --> 00:30:49.839
Uh today we're gonna go more a little bit on the positive side, just because I do believe the global expansion, not it's crazy to say the global expansion of soccer, but I have to say it just because football, soccer has not been as big here in the states.
00:30:50.000 --> 00:30:55.920
So this is now more of a global expansion of the game, uh making it more appealing here for the folks in the USA.
00:30:56.240 --> 00:31:01.039
Um and most specifically, what I'm speaking about is the changes to the MLS.
00:31:01.119 --> 00:31:07.680
Um, and what we're gonna see uh in the next season, uh so I think this will be the last season that is played like this.
00:31:07.759 --> 00:31:09.359
Uh, I have to get the exact facts on it.
00:31:09.440 --> 00:31:11.599
I saw it come on across my timeline today.
00:31:11.680 --> 00:31:13.839
Um, so I do want to do a little bit more research on it.
00:31:13.920 --> 00:31:27.359
But from what I do understand, the MLS is going to change when they play their seasons in order to be a little bit more aligned in alignment with like the European seasons and um the the big dogs in soccer, you know, when they're actually playing as well.
00:31:27.519 --> 00:31:42.000
Uh this has been, this has been, I guess, news that's kind of exciting uh just because it should offer more opportunity and open things up more so in the transfer window, which is more in the summertime, uh, which kind of competes with the MLS schedule.
00:31:42.160 --> 00:31:56.640
We just saw in the World Cup uh that a lot of the the players had to take you know breaks from their World Cup team or from their teams like Messi and all that stuff in the middle of the season while things are going on uh just to take a break to go play in FIFA.
00:31:56.799 --> 00:31:59.440
Um so and it happens, you know, across the world as well.
00:31:59.519 --> 00:32:17.039
It's not the first time that you know leagues have to take a break to play international competitions, but I do think uh being in alignment with the European season opens up the chance for more of the European players to come play here in the States, uh, which is now looking like a growing market for the game of soccer, um, football, whatever you want to call it.
00:32:17.200 --> 00:32:19.440
Um, and I do think that it's a it's a great thing.
00:32:19.519 --> 00:32:31.519
Uh, I did kind of call these changes happening um when Lionel Messi decided to come over and play for Inter Miami uh a few years ago on when he first made the move and the big, big splash.
00:32:31.599 --> 00:32:38.480
Uh I think that move, and people may not really see it right now just because we're in the middle of it.
00:32:38.640 --> 00:32:54.640
But when you look back, that move, that one signing of that one player being the GOAT, and you guys know how I feel about him, has kind of shifted things to where these European players are now looking at like life in the States, teams in the States, and you know, coming over and actually playing just because the GOAT did it.
00:32:54.720 --> 00:33:00.480
And now he's actually proven that, you know, the we the league may be weaker compared to some of the European leagues.
00:33:00.559 --> 00:33:04.880
But I think when Messi came over, people thought it was kind of him like riding off into the sunset.
00:33:04.960 --> 00:33:06.880
I'm gonna just go play in Miami.
00:33:06.960 --> 00:33:14.640
Uh, a la David Beckham, a la Zlat Zlatan Ibrahimovich, some of my other favorite players for historically in soccer.
00:33:14.720 --> 00:33:24.799
Uh, when they came over, it was more so at the end of their career just to keep playing, you know, just to experience something different, experience a different country, different vibe, you know, and kind of like go along with that.
00:33:24.960 --> 00:33:35.200
Uh, but now I think it it is good to see someone who's dominating on the world stage still uh be able to play in the MLS and like draw more attention and draw more light to that league.
00:33:35.359 --> 00:33:39.440
So much so that they've got other younger stars coming over to play in the MLS.
00:33:39.519 --> 00:33:51.680
Well, not so much younger, they're still a little bit on the older side, uh, mainly like Antoine Griezmann and most recently Robert Lewandowski, who who left Barcelona to come play for the Chicago, um, uh playing Chicago in the MLS.
00:33:51.759 --> 00:33:56.000
And they both of them, Griezmann and Lewandowski, are tearing shit up out there.
00:33:56.079 --> 00:34:02.079
So I think it shows one, the level of quality that we have here in the States is starting to rise a little bit.
00:34:02.240 --> 00:34:08.480
Um, and again, it just creates some more of a global expansion for soccer so there's a more appealing game all across and creates more opportunities.
00:34:08.639 --> 00:34:12.719
Uh, and you know, again, some players really look taking a look at the life in the U.S.
00:34:12.800 --> 00:34:17.119
who, you know, may want to come over here anyway at some point just to check it out and just to play, you know.
00:34:17.280 --> 00:34:24.239
And I think a lot of them don't really want to because it's like a stain on their resume, feeling like they got to play in the MLS in the height of their career.
00:34:24.400 --> 00:34:28.239
Uh, but when with the rising tide, I think all ships uh are are gonna lift.
00:34:28.320 --> 00:34:40.320
And I think I I I directly want to call that the messy effect, whether it is, whether it isn't, I don't know specifics on that, but I do feel like the that shift happened around when he decided to come over and play uh in the MLS.
00:34:40.400 --> 00:34:41.199
And I'm here for it, man.
00:34:41.280 --> 00:34:52.239
And now you got guys who are also legends, maybe a little bit older, like Neymar, they're saying he might come to enter Miami and give it a real, real like look when he has a chance to come over in the transfer window window.
00:34:52.400 --> 00:35:01.679
And De Bruiner as well, and Romululukaku, like guys who are like really, really, you know, respected on the world stage coming over here and playing in the States, I think is a good thing, man.
00:35:01.840 --> 00:35:02.800
So I support it.
00:35:02.880 --> 00:35:03.599
I'm here for it.
00:35:03.760 --> 00:35:10.719
Love all the changes I'm seeing with the MLS, and again, just to be able to grow the global game of soccer and make it more appealing all across.
00:35:11.679 --> 00:35:16.719
That said, that's pretty much everything on the sports side that we wanted to tap into.
00:35:17.039 --> 00:35:23.119
Um, but with that, I will get into something that's a little bit more close to heart in this in this sense.
00:35:23.280 --> 00:35:42.639
Um, you guys know I like to be the living example, and you know I love to, you know, really just share and spread all of my experiences that I'm going through in my my current journey as a new entrepreneur, uh, where people they like a lot of people will talk about the wins when they get there and some of the losses that they took when they get there.
00:35:42.800 --> 00:35:56.079
Uh, but I think someone who's really boots on the ground trying to grow something, uh, it's important for people to give that kind of perspective for those people that can buy along or buy in with that or go along with that just because they might be feeling those things themselves.
00:35:56.239 --> 00:36:02.880
So uh I present you my piece uh on changing your habits as a business owner.
00:36:03.039 --> 00:36:05.840
Um and this comes off of a conversation that I had with Queen Christine.
00:36:05.920 --> 00:36:20.400
Hopefully she doesn't really mind me mentioning this, but we got into a little bit of a tense conversation, um, which not very often, just because we handle things for the most part very uh respectfully and not to say that it wasn't respectful, but we just chill for the most part.
00:36:20.559 --> 00:36:30.480
That's why, you know, anytime we really have to speak about something, it never really lasts too long, uh, which is a sign of you know being in a great relationship with someone who can uh grow with you.
00:36:30.559 --> 00:36:39.440
And then, you know, you kind of match each other's vibe and can bounce off of each other as far as how you deal with issues and deal with problems and deal with hearing each other out.
00:36:39.599 --> 00:37:08.079
So um this comes off of a conversation that she had with me about me starting to understand, you know, where I'm at as a business owner that sometimes uh I do need to get checked on just because when I'm living life and I'm just in the middle of everything I'm doing, the the day-to-day mentality can get a little bit, you know, shifted just because you may be doing something that doesn't really have the exact focus that you need or put you in the exact focus that you need.
00:37:08.159 --> 00:37:18.400
Uh, but I say that to say that, you know, our conversation really opened my eyes up to myself and where I'm at as a business owner and understanding that, you know, I come last.
00:37:18.719 --> 00:37:27.280
Um and for anyone else who's going through it, you know, it's maybe there's something you could relate to, maybe it's something that you might have gone through as far as the shift in your mentality.
00:37:27.360 --> 00:37:29.840
Um, but it's something I'm in the middle of real time right now.
00:37:29.920 --> 00:37:40.159
And, you know, I'm so used to being someone that has either played for a basketball team that's paid me money or work for someone else that, you know, has paid me money.
00:37:40.320 --> 00:37:52.800
Um, then being able to just have money coming in and then be able to just budget or plan my money out, or even like waste some of my money the ways that I wanted to, just because, you know, sometimes I'm someone who likes to enjoy my life.
00:37:52.960 --> 00:38:03.679
But getting into this whole new entrepreneurial phase has been a little bit of a challenge to be able to move away from that mentality and lock in on what life should be for me right now.
00:38:03.840 --> 00:38:10.639
Um, and conversation was good, you know, it got to a positive place, and I think we came to a place of understanding.
00:38:10.800 --> 00:38:30.960
Um, but I do feel like that shift is something that I need to lean into even more, uh, just because understanding where you're at as a business owner now can help the longevity of the business and being able to uh put me on the path to growth, success, positive trajectory, all that stuff uh in the next coming years.
00:38:31.119 --> 00:38:32.320
And I just said it.
00:38:32.400 --> 00:38:34.800
I'm a person that likes to live life, enjoy things.
00:38:34.880 --> 00:38:35.760
I love nice things.
00:38:35.840 --> 00:38:39.760
I've always been a person who, you know, likes to splurge on myself a little bit.
00:38:39.920 --> 00:38:44.320
Um, but now I gotta get into the mindset of like you really do come last, you know.
00:38:44.480 --> 00:38:50.639
And the things that people don't tell you when you're starting to open a business is a lot of the things that I'm in the middle of right now.
00:38:50.800 --> 00:38:54.880
Of course, you know you gotta save, of course, you know you gotta plan for this and plan for that.
00:38:55.039 --> 00:39:05.760
But, you know, uh the the feelings that that causes within your own life about the decisions you have to make and the discipline that you have to like really start to live by uh is two different things, you know.
00:39:05.920 --> 00:39:17.840
And uh now it's to the point where I really have to look at everything I'm doing financially from a different lens, just because one, I'm responsible for the growth of the business, two, I'm responsible for other people.
00:39:17.920 --> 00:39:19.840
Like I have staff that I pay, you know.
00:39:20.000 --> 00:39:28.960
So everything that I have coming in has to be towards one or both of those things first uh before I can even really look at what I want to do for myself, you know.
00:39:29.199 --> 00:39:36.639
And doing anything for yourself right now is kind of off the off the like it's off the table just because we're not at that point in the business yet.
00:39:36.880 --> 00:39:45.440
And it's something that just has to happen as far as the sacrifices that I need to make uh in order to, you know, keep things in line with where I wanted to be.
00:39:45.679 --> 00:39:51.920
Um and I'm not it's not a complaint, it's not really like uh anything that I'm down about.
00:39:52.000 --> 00:40:08.880
It's just really just a shift in perspective and realizing that, you know, my priorities are something that I have to really take more seriously in this new phase of my life, especially if I want this thing to grow over the next five, 10, 15 years uh in the way that I see it and the visions that I have for myself and a life that I want to live.
00:40:08.960 --> 00:40:20.559
You know, it's not about the right now, it's about the future, and and and and discipline is doing the the hard things over and over and over and over again without seeing the immediate result from them, um, and just still holding true to that.
00:40:20.719 --> 00:40:23.679
So I'm in the middle of it now, and I'm not gonna say I'm the best.
00:40:23.840 --> 00:40:27.519
I don't have the the best mindset, but I am experiencing that shift.
00:40:27.679 --> 00:40:32.000
Maybe it's coming along with me being 40 just because I'm looking at everything kind of differently now.
00:40:32.159 --> 00:40:44.480
Um, but I also want to embrace that because you know, it it doesn't get to the successful point without going through these little mini changes or big changes internally that kind of lead you there.
00:40:44.559 --> 00:41:13.280
And for all the entrepreneurs out there, I know you feel it, or if you don't feel it and you need someone else to tell you, listen, I am here to tell you, you have to change your priorities and you know, figure out how that works for you with the things that you might have been used to doing before that you know you need to step away from now, just move away from a little bit more now, just because it it's boots on the ground, Tom, you know, and I'm in the still in the middle of grind summer, a lot of things going on, a lot of things coming up that I have planned for the growth of my business and the growth of my facility.
00:41:13.440 --> 00:41:16.320
Um, but all in all, I'm fulfilled, man.
00:41:16.400 --> 00:41:33.519
I was just having a conversation with one of my friends out in France uh basically before I came over here to record, um, just telling them that listen, I I am very blessed and very fortunate to be in a position to where I've been working for myself for over a year, uh headed towards about a year and a half at this point.
00:41:33.760 --> 00:41:37.199
Um, but I do see more for myself in the future.
00:41:37.360 --> 00:41:45.519
And in order to get there, it does require a a little bit of just again, shift and again, focus uh and discipline.
00:41:45.679 --> 00:41:48.800
So that said, man, that's just my tidbit on that for today.
00:41:49.199 --> 00:41:51.760
Entrepreneurs, tap in, fuck with me.
00:41:52.000 --> 00:41:56.880
Those who are willing to make the most out of any situation, same likewise, man.
00:41:57.119 --> 00:42:00.000
But all of that is all I got to say for today.
00:42:00.159 --> 00:42:06.639
Um, so with that said, man, as always, guard yourself mentally, physically, and spiritually, and all things in between.
00:42:06.800 --> 00:42:11.760
Until the next time, we'll catch you for another one, D Burke Out, episode number 83.
00:42:12.400 --> 00:42:13.039
Peace.
00:00:00.479 --> 00:00:02.240
But you comin' nigga, but you coming nigga.
00:00:02.720 --> 00:00:03.439
Yeah, okay.
00:00:03.919 --> 00:00:06.480
It's summer twenty-six, they got you made it through the winter.
00:00:06.959 --> 00:00:09.679
Niggas bust a witch, cause they've been saving since November.
00:00:09.919 --> 00:00:12.480
Well, I'm from is gangsters, but no savings for the sinner.
00:00:12.640 --> 00:00:13.279
New bad to porch.
00:00:15.519 --> 00:00:18.640
We ain't even getting to the three feet spice, we just got vibe with your boys.
00:00:19.120 --> 00:00:21.760
Running through blocks like Terrell Davis didn't differ.
00:00:22.079 --> 00:00:24.960
When I feel trouble, I sense the danger I will pick up.
00:00:25.120 --> 00:00:27.920
But I'ma interviews just like it came without a hiccup.
00:00:29.600 --> 00:00:30.960
Like frames on a picture.
00:00:31.120 --> 00:00:33.920
She back from the yard, and I see changes in the figure.
00:00:34.240 --> 00:00:36.719
A block shift on my strip, ain't made for no beginner.
00:00:37.600 --> 00:00:39.840
Feel like the drop to even trade for it and chill her.
00:00:39.920 --> 00:00:43.119
Get this thing rolling and blazed through you with ages, you were quicker.
00:00:43.359 --> 00:00:46.000
He only 17 and gone through phases of a killer.
00:00:46.399 --> 00:00:49.119
You know my agenda, pirates over the blender.
00:00:49.359 --> 00:00:50.799
She cut you broke niggas off.
00:00:50.960 --> 00:00:52.159
The fucker big spender.
00:00:52.479 --> 00:00:53.359
The butcher comin'.
00:00:53.600 --> 00:00:55.359
These rappers went in my spot for years.
00:00:56.079 --> 00:00:57.359
Success, they got was mid.
00:00:57.520 --> 00:00:59.039
Deep down, they wanna swap the race.
00:00:59.759 --> 00:01:00.960
And I was well to niggas.
00:01:01.119 --> 00:01:05.599
Don't let the rumors of Griselda split and force your overconfidence to fail, you niggas.
00:01:05.760 --> 00:01:07.680
In a position I had to embrace.
00:01:07.840 --> 00:01:11.439
Every classic I made gave status and weight to these rappers of state.
00:01:11.680 --> 00:01:13.599
The work pale like Dracula Face.
00:01:13.920 --> 00:01:17.439
Straps on our waist, we buckled up like I'm tryna keep my passengers safe.
00:01:17.840 --> 00:01:20.400
Hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up, man.
00:01:21.359 --> 00:01:22.879
That ain't even my vibe today.
00:01:22.959 --> 00:01:27.920
That shit got me in a shit a little shit a little fire right there.
00:01:28.159 --> 00:01:30.239
Give it like a goosebumps, you heard.
00:01:30.959 --> 00:01:32.959
That ain't even a bag I'm in today.
00:01:34.640 --> 00:01:35.840
We back though, man.
00:01:36.400 --> 00:01:37.599
Do this thing again.
00:01:37.920 --> 00:01:39.120
Like we always do with this.
00:03:04.719 --> 00:03:08.240
That said, man, we only here for one thing and one thing only.
00:03:08.400 --> 00:03:12.800
We here to rock out and deal with your boy on the D-Berg 3P.
00:03:13.120 --> 00:03:13.680
Spicy.
00:03:21.919 --> 00:03:24.960
Thanks for coming and join us over here at the UFS Pod.
00:03:26.879 --> 00:03:28.319
And we in a different mood today.
00:03:28.400 --> 00:03:29.599
We're in a different bag, you know.
00:03:29.680 --> 00:03:32.639
I've been real, real hard lately.
00:03:32.800 --> 00:03:33.599
Pause, you know.
00:03:34.080 --> 00:03:38.800
This move last week, not so hard, I would say, but you know, today we're gonna talk to the lady hustlers.
00:03:38.879 --> 00:03:46.000
So as always, if you hear, ring off the air horn, talking more.
00:03:46.240 --> 00:03:50.000
I'm 40 now, so you know they say I gotta start acting your age, you know.
00:03:50.479 --> 00:03:57.840
My back ain't really hurting anymore, you know, my body still feels good, but you know, uh I feel of a certain decade, you know.
00:03:57.919 --> 00:04:01.199
You know I'm called the millennial music wire for a reason.
00:04:01.520 --> 00:04:04.879
And I ain't a DJ, I'm just a good guy with fire tunes.
00:04:04.960 --> 00:04:06.240
Today we're gonna take this thing back.
00:04:06.319 --> 00:04:08.240
We're gonna talk to ladies one time.
00:04:08.560 --> 00:04:09.759
Let's get it.
00:04:12.639 --> 00:04:15.280
If you know this one, you know how I go.
00:04:16.959 --> 00:04:21.680
Ignant levels of volumes wherever you at, wherever you watching, wherever you're listening from.
00:04:21.839 --> 00:04:24.639
Come along with your boy as we get to this three piece spicy ladies.
00:04:27.920 --> 00:04:36.639
I love you, I can love you, I can love you, I can love you, I can love you word for word if you know it, it's time to go.
00:04:40.399 --> 00:04:42.879
Wondering why you don't love me.
00:04:43.120 --> 00:04:43.920
Get in that bag.
00:04:44.000 --> 00:04:45.920
Forty's enough, fifties enough, where y'all lap.
00:04:46.079 --> 00:04:46.480
I love you.
00:04:46.720 --> 00:04:47.680
Come along with your boy.
00:04:55.680 --> 00:05:02.800
And you know my love is real boy I can love my talk to 'em.
00:05:05.120 --> 00:05:07.439
Big hater vibes, but talk to him, ladies.
00:05:08.639 --> 00:05:10.000
Hate on that bitch.
00:05:22.480 --> 00:05:23.360
Second verse.
00:05:25.759 --> 00:05:27.600
And you know we gotta rock through the kimp verse too.
00:05:27.680 --> 00:05:29.439
We ain't leaving for the kimp verse, get comfy.
00:05:35.279 --> 00:05:38.720
So make sure that you can put me.
00:05:39.600 --> 00:05:42.639
And you know the reason Shit just feel good in the summertime.
00:05:45.120 --> 00:05:50.399
Body ain't as stiff, it ain't as cold out, muscles relax, shoulders move a little bit different.
00:05:50.639 --> 00:05:52.319
Should feel good in the summertime.
00:05:52.560 --> 00:05:54.319
Five out one time with it.
00:06:05.279 --> 00:06:06.399
Yes, ladies.
00:06:07.839 --> 00:06:09.120
Yes, fellas.
00:06:19.680 --> 00:06:24.800
Talk to them, side to side, roll them shoulders, bop their head.
00:06:26.319 --> 00:06:32.399
Queen B, too be foldable booty, like a groupie for mouse.
00:06:32.639 --> 00:06:35.199
Arm a truck, ice, get the bonus like the boot skate.
00:06:35.439 --> 00:06:37.759
In love with you since the days of juice day.
00:06:38.000 --> 00:06:43.279
Now I watch you play Columbo, a fashion, tricks up colossals, turn your castle to brothers.
00:06:43.360 --> 00:06:45.759
Uh Who you love and who you wanna be hugging?
00:06:49.759 --> 00:06:53.839
Nobody to change, find physical fitness, little bit long, stay with me.
00:06:54.720 --> 00:06:58.959
Under pressure, I lie for you, lie for you, Google Bottles, lie for you, right here.
00:07:00.399 --> 00:07:02.000
Because of you, I'm inherited.
00:07:02.079 --> 00:07:05.360
Trillion, being billion, fiddly coops, million.
00:07:05.839 --> 00:07:07.920
Playing disamined in the chevy.
00:07:11.360 --> 00:07:17.360
Listen, man, we're gonna keep this thing rollin', keep it smooth, keep it sexy, keep it vibing.
00:07:18.240 --> 00:07:20.000
I get too long, like it's a little bit.
00:07:20.160 --> 00:07:23.759
If you have a certain time, certain place, several era, you might remember this joint.
00:07:25.759 --> 00:07:30.079
The Queen Janet, the niggas, the black freak.
00:07:33.680 --> 00:07:34.399
Let's go.
00:07:35.199 --> 00:07:36.800
Win a different back space.
00:07:48.879 --> 00:07:49.920
Yes, we do.
00:07:54.560 --> 00:07:58.000
My girl out of town for the past two days that bed too cold at night.
00:07:58.560 --> 00:08:00.720
Queen Christine lonely out here.
00:08:13.199 --> 00:08:13.519
Yes.
00:08:20.560 --> 00:08:28.720
I'm not gonna stick along with me.
00:08:38.000 --> 00:08:38.799
Get him though.
00:08:53.279 --> 00:08:54.879
What top of black street?
00:08:55.039 --> 00:08:56.559
What's up a good R and B?
00:08:57.039 --> 00:08:59.759
What's up a plastic plastic tool?
00:09:13.679 --> 00:09:14.240
Now what?
00:09:21.360 --> 00:09:22.000
Call me, baby.
00:09:24.159 --> 00:09:29.200
Please beg you to stay.
00:09:35.519 --> 00:09:36.960
We got all kind of vibes.
00:09:37.440 --> 00:09:39.759
We transvival with this three piece test.
00:09:43.120 --> 00:09:48.799
If you never heard of Trans Bible, you ain't gonna hear the deep burger.
00:09:50.879 --> 00:09:52.639
Gotta go to the bridge on this one.
00:09:52.879 --> 00:09:54.159
Gotta go to the bridge on this one.
00:09:54.240 --> 00:09:56.799
If we don't install, let's get that bad.
00:09:57.200 --> 00:10:01.360
Like I said, rolling shoulders, play that crib, ride that whip down the street.
00:10:08.159 --> 00:10:09.759
It's just a good feeling.
00:10:13.840 --> 00:10:15.200
We're a little bit long for this one.
00:10:15.360 --> 00:10:16.159
Let's do the classic.
00:10:16.480 --> 00:10:17.120
Enjoy it.
00:10:17.600 --> 00:10:18.960
Go along for the ride.
00:10:30.399 --> 00:10:31.600
One time for the bridge.
00:10:32.320 --> 00:10:34.080
Break it down, break it down.
00:10:36.080 --> 00:10:38.960
Break it down, break it down, break it down.
00:10:39.200 --> 00:10:39.600
Yeah.
00:10:40.000 --> 00:10:42.559
Break it down, break it down, break it down.
00:10:42.960 --> 00:10:43.519
One time.
00:10:57.200 --> 00:11:00.000
You can hear it, they really feel it, they really mean it.
00:11:00.399 --> 00:11:02.799
Different time, different place, different era.
00:11:04.159 --> 00:11:05.120
Check this out, man.
00:11:05.200 --> 00:11:06.960
We're gonna keep this three-piece thing going.
00:11:07.039 --> 00:11:09.360
One time, round applause for yourself.
00:11:09.519 --> 00:11:16.399
If you alive, if you're breathing, if you're above six feet above ground, it's a good day to be.
00:11:17.120 --> 00:11:18.879
It's a good day to just exist.
00:11:19.919 --> 00:11:23.600
And it's a good day to come along for the three-piece spicy as we get to another record.
00:11:23.840 --> 00:11:24.480
Talk to me.
00:11:25.919 --> 00:11:26.720
Big boy.
00:11:28.159 --> 00:11:30.159
Ladies, we still talking to you fellas.
00:11:30.559 --> 00:11:31.679
Come along for the ride.
00:11:32.799 --> 00:11:34.639
Let's speak to the female listenership.
00:11:34.799 --> 00:11:36.000
It's a female viewership today.
00:11:38.720 --> 00:11:39.759
Ain't y'all really feel me?
00:11:42.320 --> 00:11:43.279
Big shoulder box.
00:11:44.240 --> 00:11:45.360
Side to side, let's ride.
00:11:46.720 --> 00:11:48.559
I got the peace, post feeling.
00:11:52.399 --> 00:11:55.679
I've been watching you like the hole in the sky.
00:11:55.840 --> 00:11:58.240
And I will my prey.
00:11:58.720 --> 00:12:00.480
One time for the goat, one time for the legend.
00:12:00.799 --> 00:12:04.639
If we keep it gone too soon, let these little niggas know about it.
00:12:04.879 --> 00:12:05.440
Aaliyah.
00:12:06.399 --> 00:12:09.440
We don't need a little on the phone.
00:12:13.200 --> 00:12:15.279
I've been holding back this thing.
00:12:15.600 --> 00:12:18.559
Big Timbo on the beat, one of the best producers ever.
00:12:26.399 --> 00:12:28.159
Are you responsible?
00:12:33.440 --> 00:12:34.639
Remember this video.
00:12:35.200 --> 00:12:36.879
Remember the dance routine.
00:12:37.440 --> 00:12:38.799
Remember the soundtrack.
00:12:39.360 --> 00:12:42.080
Niggas forgot about the Doctor Doolittle soundtrack.
00:12:42.960 --> 00:12:44.159
Millennial shit.
00:12:44.559 --> 00:12:46.240
We too young to sit this one out.
00:12:52.480 --> 00:12:54.559
Everyone sleeps, sleep, sleep.
00:12:54.960 --> 00:12:58.799
I'll be waiting there when my truth, my nose, a hat.
00:12:59.120 --> 00:13:00.960
Just so I'm low-key.
00:13:01.759 --> 00:13:08.000
If you tell the word Oh boy.
00:13:08.720 --> 00:13:09.759
See, I'm trusting you.
00:13:10.159 --> 00:13:12.799
Feeling good, looking good, living good.
00:13:13.440 --> 00:13:14.480
Sing along with it.
00:13:21.759 --> 00:13:23.519
I hope you're responsible.
00:13:32.399 --> 00:13:34.320
Shout out to the new RB and all that.
00:13:34.639 --> 00:13:37.840
All the people really doing their thing when the RB side, but come on, man.
00:13:37.919 --> 00:13:40.720
This is a different time, different place, different era.
00:13:41.200 --> 00:13:41.600
Timbo.
00:13:50.240 --> 00:13:51.840
Don't you know I am the man?
00:13:52.000 --> 00:13:53.360
Rock show here, is in Japan.
00:13:53.600 --> 00:13:55.039
They don't make them like they used to.
00:13:55.200 --> 00:13:56.000
They just don't.
00:13:57.200 --> 00:13:58.320
Better known as Ali.
00:13:59.039 --> 00:14:00.399
Give me cool bust that hot leaf.
00:14:00.559 --> 00:14:02.639
Speak bigger play haters, but leave believe.
00:14:02.879 --> 00:14:03.600
Don't you know?
00:14:04.240 --> 00:14:05.600
Gotta tell somebody.
00:14:07.360 --> 00:14:07.759
Uh-huh.
00:14:09.039 --> 00:14:09.600
Say word.
00:14:10.960 --> 00:14:12.080
Listen, man.
00:14:12.960 --> 00:14:15.279
Wake that ass up if you haven't yet.
00:14:15.519 --> 00:14:17.840
And if you ain't, I don't you a different kind of sleep.
00:14:18.080 --> 00:14:19.519
Off of those tunes right there.
00:14:19.600 --> 00:14:21.279
You a different kind of sleep.
00:14:21.759 --> 00:14:23.840
Different, different kind of sleep for real.
00:14:24.000 --> 00:14:31.440
But you know, whoever you are, wherever you're listening from, appreciate you coming along to join the pre-part and D Bird 3P Spicy.
00:14:31.600 --> 00:14:39.279
Thank you for another, another, I guess, another time to share my thoughts, my experiences, my whatever with you.
00:14:39.440 --> 00:14:40.799
Those of you listening out there, man.
00:14:40.879 --> 00:14:42.799
I see y'all coming in from all over the place, man.
00:14:42.879 --> 00:14:45.440
I see a little Buddha patch on there the other day.
00:14:45.519 --> 00:14:48.960
I don't know how y'all are catching my shit, but listen, keep on doing it.
00:14:49.360 --> 00:14:50.320
We appreciate it.
00:14:50.960 --> 00:14:52.799
Most definitely appreciate it.
00:14:53.039 --> 00:14:57.120
And as always, man, as we get to this thing, we are back for another audio occasion.
00:14:57.200 --> 00:15:01.279
It is the podcast for self-starters and those willing to make the most out of any situation.
00:15:01.360 --> 00:15:03.759
The EFS podcast is big time back.
00:15:04.559 --> 00:15:13.039
And today, we just gonna tap in for a little conversation, start provoking out the gate for those of you out there again willing to make the most out of any situation.
00:15:13.279 --> 00:15:17.279
Who you know may not have the support of the people that you know, whatever, all that other shit.
00:15:17.360 --> 00:15:19.840
But yeah, listen, man, listen up this one for y'all.
00:15:21.039 --> 00:15:23.360
It's until you no longer need the support to goodness.
00:15:23.840 --> 00:15:27.919
Why do people wait until you no longer need the support to finally give it to you?
00:15:28.159 --> 00:15:30.320
Because most people don't support potential.
00:15:31.039 --> 00:15:33.200
They support proof that supporting you is safe.
00:15:34.399 --> 00:15:39.120
When you're unknown, struggling, and building something nobody can verify yet.
00:15:39.440 --> 00:15:42.080
Cheering for you requires actual belief.
00:15:42.320 --> 00:15:44.480
They have to risk being wrong.
00:15:44.720 --> 00:15:50.240
They have to take your ambition seriously before the results make it socially acceptable.
00:15:50.559 --> 00:16:00.799
And most people are essentially saying, I would love to believe in your dream, but first it should pass a background check, become profitable, and receive approval from strangers.
00:16:01.120 --> 00:16:10.240
So while you're in the mud, posting to 12 people, losing money, questioning yourself, and trying to build something from nothing, it's silence.
00:16:10.559 --> 00:16:15.039
Maybe a few polite likes from your mother and somebody from high school.
00:16:15.360 --> 00:16:20.000
But once it works, now all of a sudden everyone understands the vision.
00:16:20.240 --> 00:16:22.240
Now they always knew you had it in you.
00:16:22.480 --> 00:16:26.000
The obsession they called unrealistic becomes discipline.
00:16:26.159 --> 00:16:32.639
The risks they called irresponsible become courage, and the idea they ignored becomes inspiring.
00:16:32.960 --> 00:16:37.519
Now nothing changed except the scoreboard gave them permission to agree with you.
00:16:37.759 --> 00:16:43.519
And then people who never shared your work start saying, I've been watching you for years.
00:16:45.759 --> 00:16:46.720
And that's that, man.
00:16:46.879 --> 00:16:48.399
We ain't gonna go the whole thing, man.
00:16:48.480 --> 00:16:50.799
Just the just the most impactful piece of that one.
00:16:51.519 --> 00:16:53.519
So listen, man, we are here.
00:16:53.919 --> 00:16:55.200
Back for another episode.
00:16:55.360 --> 00:16:57.840
We got episode number 83 in the house.
00:16:58.480 --> 00:17:02.960
And as always, man, as we kick this thing off, you know I gotta let my theme music run.
00:17:03.440 --> 00:17:07.599
Give me a one, two, three, an abundance of air horn.
00:17:07.759 --> 00:17:08.559
Get that ass enough.
00:17:08.720 --> 00:17:09.599
Yeah, come along.
00:17:10.400 --> 00:17:11.039
Come along.
00:17:11.440 --> 00:17:12.559
We still have our sound.
00:17:12.720 --> 00:17:14.160
We still live a life in the summertime.
00:17:14.319 --> 00:17:16.000
Mick summer still a vibe.
00:17:20.240 --> 00:17:26.000
And as always, if you made it to the audio slash visual occasion, please do not forget to like, comment, share, and subscribe.
00:17:26.160 --> 00:17:27.839

This is your boy, the man, the myth, the legend from the EFS brand, himself, the biggest brand that you don't know about yet, Mr.
00:17:33.920 --> 00:17:34.640

00:17:36.160 --> 00:17:37.119
Big 40.
00:17:37.359 --> 00:17:37.680
Mr.
00:17:37.759 --> 00:17:39.920
Big 40, embrace it.
00:17:40.079 --> 00:17:41.200
Take a look at it.
00:17:41.359 --> 00:17:42.720
My skin glowing.
00:17:42.880 --> 00:17:44.240
My health is right.
00:17:44.640 --> 00:17:46.400
My spirit is in alignment.
00:17:47.119 --> 00:17:49.039
Look, time 40's supposed to look right here.
00:17:49.279 --> 00:17:50.880
A little bit on the Leo side of things.
00:17:50.960 --> 00:17:52.160
It's still Leo season.
00:17:52.319 --> 00:17:53.759
It's still a little Leo season.
00:17:53.839 --> 00:17:55.839
We still out here talking our Leo shit.
00:17:56.000 --> 00:17:58.880
And we're still enjoying our life because someone from the Lion Order.
00:17:59.039 --> 00:18:01.920
But that said, man, we'll get the famous theme music out.
00:18:02.079 --> 00:18:03.599
Thank you for joining me.
00:18:04.000 --> 00:18:05.440
Coming to check Leo out.
00:18:05.599 --> 00:18:09.759
And as always, like I said before, make sure you like, comment, share, and subscribe.
00:18:09.839 --> 00:18:12.000
We love the love over here at the EFS Podcast.
00:18:12.079 --> 00:18:14.240
We appreciate every little piece of it that we get.
00:18:14.400 --> 00:18:18.720
So as we tap in for eighth episode number 83, big round of applause for yourself.
00:18:19.440 --> 00:18:24.000
Big round of applause for all the Leos out there celebrating big birthdays.
00:18:24.079 --> 00:18:24.480
I see them.
00:18:24.640 --> 00:18:27.119
Got a lot of Leos in my family specifically.
00:18:27.359 --> 00:18:29.759
And just a lot of Leos spreading love out there, man.
00:18:29.839 --> 00:18:31.279
We still living off birthday energy.
00:18:31.359 --> 00:18:34.160
We ain't gonna rock it out for the whole birthday month type of thing.
00:18:34.240 --> 00:18:35.920
You know, we leave that to the ladies and all that.
00:18:36.000 --> 00:18:38.559
But yeah, man, we still appreciate life.
00:18:38.720 --> 00:18:41.359
Um and that said, birthday was good last week.
00:18:41.519 --> 00:18:43.119
Uh stretched it out throughout the week.
00:18:43.279 --> 00:18:44.559
Birthday celebration was Friday.
00:18:44.640 --> 00:18:46.240
Thank you for everyone who came out.
00:18:46.400 --> 00:18:49.200
Uh enjoyed it, enjoyed y'all, you know.
00:18:49.359 --> 00:18:52.960
Um I looked over at Queen Christine, who was sitting next to me for the evening.
00:18:53.039 --> 00:18:59.440
Um at one moment, a little bit tipsy off of a couple of drinks to, you know, some of the people in attendance purchased for me.
00:18:59.519 --> 00:19:02.319
I said, my heart is full right now, you know.
00:19:02.559 --> 00:19:05.359
Um, and really that's it was no cap.
00:19:05.599 --> 00:19:09.759
That was really just how I felt, like looking around, seeing the people that were there to show up for me.
00:19:10.000 --> 00:19:16.079
Um, and I would say admittedly so not the best planning on my side about you know just celebrating a birthday.
00:19:16.160 --> 00:19:17.279
We talked about that already.
00:19:17.440 --> 00:19:34.160
00:19:34.240 --> 00:19:36.559
I got a little bit drunker than I do recently.
00:19:36.880 --> 00:19:41.519
You know, I'm I'm not a drinker, so I got a little bit drunker than I do normally uh at this stage in my life.
00:19:41.680 --> 00:19:43.119
And I've been feeling it all week.
00:19:43.200 --> 00:19:50.880
Um to the week, yeah, but the the the effects of of excess and alcohol uh definitely sitting into my system.
00:19:50.960 --> 00:19:56.400
My workouts ain't really been feeling the best, but you know, sometimes you you just gotta deal with that.
00:19:56.640 --> 00:20:00.559
And for the right reasons, you know, we we go out there, we we celebrate.
00:20:00.720 --> 00:20:03.440
And you know, again, happy to be here at 40.
00:20:04.079 --> 00:20:05.440
Said all of it before.
00:20:05.680 --> 00:20:12.480
Um but moving forward, man, we'll open this thing up for the topic of conversations or the topic of my perspectives, I guess.
00:20:12.640 --> 00:20:16.640
Um, and first and foremost, we'll open up for a little bit of hoop talk.
00:20:16.720 --> 00:20:19.599
Um and a little bit of controversy, I would say.
00:20:19.759 --> 00:20:24.400
Um, and today's talk, I guess, circles around the WNBA.
00:20:24.559 --> 00:20:46.079
00:20:46.240 --> 00:20:49.759
Um has they both declared for the WNBA draft.
00:20:49.839 --> 00:20:51.759
If you've seen it in the news, then you know.
00:20:51.920 --> 00:21:00.960
Um but if you weren't aware, the WNBA has a rule basically saying that uh women are are allowed to play in the WNBA.
00:21:01.119 --> 00:21:21.440
00:21:21.519 --> 00:21:28.000
Excuse me if I'm not saying it exactly correctly, um, but it is what it is as far as what the situation is, I would say.
00:21:28.240 --> 00:21:48.559
00:21:48.720 --> 00:21:59.599
Uh so they both made posts saying that they was gonna declare for the WMBA, uh which to my first reaction I thought it was a little bit clout chasy, um and a little bit, you know, involving yourself inside.
00:22:00.160 --> 00:22:02.000
Something that really has nothing to do with you.
00:22:02.640 --> 00:22:11.680
But after looking deeper into it, I did understand the rationale behind it, which was to kind of stand up for the uh the women who are born women in the NBA.
00:22:12.079 --> 00:22:15.279
And the debate goes deeper and deeper and deeper.
00:22:18.880 --> 00:22:29.519
And myself, I don't want to act like, you know, people of that lifestyle or for that, you know, support people living their own lifestyle or doing what they want to do in that regard.
00:22:29.920 --> 00:22:43.359
But for me, what is the most glaring thing that we need to understand as people is that when it comes to sports competitions, men and women do not necessarily belong on the same playing field.
00:22:43.839 --> 00:22:58.960
And I say that in the most, I guess, inoffensive way possible, uh, just because men and women biologically, um, anatomically, and a lot of different ways you can slice this thing are not the same.
00:22:59.119 --> 00:23:05.759
Um, and I just don't believe that women who were even born when men belong in women's sports.
00:23:05.920 --> 00:23:07.920
Um and you could take it how you want to take it.
00:23:08.079 --> 00:23:16.240
I'm not here to really argue with anyone, you know, about that, but my perspective is that women's sports is for women's sports, men's sports is for men's sports.
00:23:16.319 --> 00:23:18.880
Um, and it's not to say there can't be some kind of cross sports.
00:23:18.960 --> 00:23:24.000
There are sports that play, you know, mixed doubles and things like that in tennis where men actually play with women.
00:23:24.079 --> 00:23:28.480
And it's not a thing to say that there is not a chance for men and women to compete together.
00:23:28.640 --> 00:23:49.039
00:23:49.200 --> 00:23:53.119
Um, and we've seen men play women before, we've seen women beat men before.
00:23:53.279 --> 00:24:04.240
But when you're getting into a professional sports league uh where there's a lot of things, you know, riding on it, people's contracts, people's livelihood, all of that stuff to me, it just gets a little bit muddy.
00:24:04.319 --> 00:24:09.359
And I'm all for everyone living their own life as far as who they choose to identify as.
00:24:09.519 --> 00:24:14.160
You know, I say this with no malice, no hate or anything in my heart towards that community.
00:24:14.240 --> 00:24:24.640
Uh but simple fact that when you add that thing, add that into the mix for, again, men or women-born men playing in women's sports, the advantages is just so huge.
00:24:24.720 --> 00:24:35.279
And it goes back to, I think a couple years ago, there was a uh college swimmer who was the first transgender woman uh to openly compete in the NCAA Division I championships.
00:24:35.359 --> 00:24:47.279
Uh name was Leah Thomas, um, the transgender woman, and was shattering records and stuff like that and winning and won the 500-yard freestyle uh in March of 2022.
00:24:47.359 --> 00:24:48.799
So this is not too long ago.
00:24:48.960 --> 00:25:00.559
Um the career at the University of Pennsylvania had sparked a massive national debate uh regarding inclusion, fairness, and the biological differences in men's and women's sports.
00:25:00.640 --> 00:25:02.640
Um, so that's one case of it.
00:25:02.720 --> 00:25:12.319
You know, you got a transgender woman stepping into the game and into the pool, and then just again dominating the competition so much that it feels unfair.
00:25:12.400 --> 00:25:26.400
And it's not to say that there aren't areas where a woman can beat a man in this pool, because yeah, I'm sure if I jump in the pool versus another woman who's very trained, very, you know, she's got a lot of years, she's very seasoned at swimming, she's probably gonna wash me, and that's fine.
00:25:26.559 --> 00:25:35.680
But when you add a man who is, you know, doing the same kind of regimen of the same sport, of the same kind of training, I do believe it is a huge advantage for them.
00:25:35.759 --> 00:25:39.119
Um, and that's where things get a little bit unfair for the women, you know.
00:25:39.279 --> 00:25:57.759
I do feel bad for a lot of the ladies in that regard, just because a lot of times they work hard to put themselves in position to be seen, to be respected, uh, and and just, you know, revered, I guess, in a sports world, you know, and and we've seen great dominant women athletes throughout history.
00:25:57.839 --> 00:26:13.039
So I think for for that part of sport, it is great to see, you know, for that sex or that, you know, that that gender of people to have something for themselves, you know, like women's sports has grown, it's big now, especially in the WMBA, it's grown on a year-by-year basis.
00:26:13.200 --> 00:26:15.759
So what happens when you add that into the mix?
00:26:15.920 --> 00:26:22.079
We gets a little bit, you know, political in a sense, and and and uh it just gets muddy, you know.
00:26:22.160 --> 00:26:33.039
And for me, it's a lot, it's a lot behind it, and I think there's a lot in the world that, you know, makes this thing feel very tense and a conversation that we can't even really have.
00:26:33.200 --> 00:26:36.240
But from my perspective, it's just not a good mix.
00:26:36.319 --> 00:26:49.839
Like, yes, there are sports again where women and men can play together, but those are fewer and far between than just all leagues that have competitions and pay people to play sports and like that, you know, just just keep it away.
00:26:49.920 --> 00:27:02.960
I just don't believe, especially in basketball, that guys or men who are transitioning to women who identify as women throughout their lives, are you know that that's somewhere like just we gotta figure out something else with that.
00:27:03.119 --> 00:27:11.680
Like, I don't know exactly what the answer is, but we gotta figure something else with that because anything that I can think of may be considered even more divisive, even more this, even more that.
00:27:11.839 --> 00:27:24.400
But when you choose a certain path in your life, I do also think that you have to be okay with you know certain parts of things being, you know, excluded from that, you know.
00:27:24.720 --> 00:27:39.200
And hey, I'm not someone who is of that community, and I don't really try to tell people how of that community how they should think, but I do believe there should be room for respective dialogue about um, you know, how we work that out.
00:27:39.359 --> 00:27:40.799
And that's just that for me.
00:27:40.960 --> 00:27:42.640
Um, but hopefully they figured it out.
00:27:42.720 --> 00:27:48.240
I heard they're trying to rewrite the rules for the WNBA to make sure that you know things are quote unquote fair, all that stuff.
00:27:48.319 --> 00:27:50.480
But right now it's a little bit of a media firestorm.
00:27:50.559 --> 00:28:02.160
And I and my perspective is again that I do not believe that men born women belong in women's sports who are you know busting their ass to make a name for themselves in that way.
00:28:02.319 --> 00:28:03.359
Um, and that's that.
00:28:03.440 --> 00:28:04.880
You know, y'all can feel how y'all feel.
00:28:04.960 --> 00:28:05.839
Let me know how y'all feel.
00:28:05.920 --> 00:28:09.920
Again, I'm open for debate, but I'm not really open to change my perspective on this one.
00:28:10.079 --> 00:28:16.000
Uh, so moving forward, um, on the next piece of topics and things to talk about.
00:28:16.240 --> 00:28:17.839
NBA season opener.
00:28:18.720 --> 00:28:20.400
Let's talk about it, Philly.
00:28:20.559 --> 00:28:21.599
Let's talk about it.
00:28:21.759 --> 00:28:26.559
Uh, the Knicks are playing Philadelphia in the opening game of the NBA season.
00:28:26.799 --> 00:28:32.160
Um, I was a little bit surprised that they chose to make that the opening game.
00:28:32.240 --> 00:28:36.319
Uh, I thought they was gonna make it the Christmas game, but I ain't really a fan of what they did with the Christmas game.
00:28:36.400 --> 00:28:43.759
But the NBA schedules are out uh finally after LeBron decided to make his decision after holding things up for so long, according to Adam Silver.
00:28:43.920 --> 00:28:46.480
Um and yeah, man, we're gonna get to this shit right out the gate.
00:28:46.640 --> 00:28:47.519
Right out the gate, man.
00:28:47.599 --> 00:28:53.359
We're gonna see what the what the vibe is with these with these Philadelphia 76ers on opening night.
00:28:53.519 --> 00:28:56.799
Um, I think that it's a good way to start the season off.
00:28:56.880 --> 00:28:58.240
You know, I'm not mad about it.
00:28:58.319 --> 00:29:01.599
Because good matchups all across in the opening, uh, opening week.
00:29:01.759 --> 00:29:03.920
Uh obviously the games are still all over the place.
00:29:04.079 --> 00:29:13.039
So as far as the the streaming app or service that you need to be able to watch them, make sure you got your your services right and your subscriptions is up, headed to the NBA season at that point.
00:29:13.119 --> 00:29:15.039
We still got football to get to before that.
00:29:15.200 --> 00:29:20.240
But, you know, I I think that it's this is gonna be a good good way to start the season off.
00:29:20.400 --> 00:29:24.799
Does it mean you know the Philadelphia 76ers are better than the Knicks if the Knicks beat them?
00:29:24.960 --> 00:29:31.039
I mean, if the Sixers beat the Knicks, does it mean the Knicks are better than the Philadelphia 76ers if the Knicks beat them?
00:29:31.279 --> 00:29:32.559
Yes, from my perspective.
00:29:32.720 --> 00:29:33.759
Nah, I'm just talking shit.
00:29:33.839 --> 00:29:36.880
But I mean, I think it's a good test and great way to start the season off.
00:29:36.960 --> 00:29:46.079
So I'm glad that they did give us that because a lot of the talk online has been Knicks versus Sixers, Eastern Conference finals, you know, matchup and all that stuff.
00:29:46.160 --> 00:29:48.880
So yeah, it's good, it's a good way to kick things off, man.
00:29:48.960 --> 00:29:53.119
Uh, we still got a way to go before we get to basketball, still got football out there floating around.
00:29:53.279 --> 00:29:56.319
Giants open up this weekend with a preseason game.
00:29:56.400 --> 00:30:00.319
Um, was offered tickets to the game, and I may actually try to pop out for it.
00:30:00.400 --> 00:30:09.440
Um, not sure how that's gonna work out because I have some other obligations that I gotta take care of as far as getting Queen Christine from the airport coming back from her trip from being out of town.
00:30:09.680 --> 00:30:13.759
Um, but a lot of excited things coming up, man, as we close out this summer, man.
00:30:13.920 --> 00:30:21.119
Um, and moving forward, keeping it in sports as we do close out the summer, still off the heels of the World Cup energy.
00:30:21.200 --> 00:30:24.559
Um, and a lot of things going on in the soccer world.
00:30:24.720 --> 00:30:36.640
Um, I ain't gonna really get too much into the whole infantini thing, uh, as far as him trying to sell FIFA basically to private equity groups and the the drama that that caused.
00:30:36.720 --> 00:30:49.839
Uh today we're gonna go more a little bit on the positive side, just because I do believe the global expansion, not it's crazy to say the global expansion of soccer, but I have to say it just because football, soccer has not been as big here in the states.
00:30:50.000 --> 00:30:55.920
So this is now more of a global expansion of the game, uh making it more appealing here for the folks in the USA.
00:30:56.240 --> 00:31:01.039
Um and most specifically, what I'm speaking about is the changes to the MLS.
00:31:01.119 --> 00:31:07.680
Um, and what we're gonna see uh in the next season, uh so I think this will be the last season that is played like this.
00:31:07.759 --> 00:31:09.359
Uh, I have to get the exact facts on it.
00:31:09.440 --> 00:31:11.599
I saw it come on across my timeline today.
00:31:11.680 --> 00:31:13.839
Um, so I do want to do a little bit more research on it.
00:31:13.920 --> 00:31:27.359
But from what I do understand, the MLS is going to change when they play their seasons in order to be a little bit more aligned in alignment with like the European seasons and um the the big dogs in soccer, you know, when they're actually playing as well.
00:31:27.519 --> 00:31:42.000
Uh this has been, this has been, I guess, news that's kind of exciting uh just because it should offer more opportunity and open things up more so in the transfer window, which is more in the summertime, uh, which kind of competes with the MLS schedule.
00:31:42.160 --> 00:31:56.640
We just saw in the World Cup uh that a lot of the the players had to take you know breaks from their World Cup team or from their teams like Messi and all that stuff in the middle of the season while things are going on uh just to take a break to go play in FIFA.
00:31:56.799 --> 00:31:59.440
Um so and it happens, you know, across the world as well.
00:31:59.519 --> 00:32:17.039
It's not the first time that you know leagues have to take a break to play international competitions, but I do think uh being in alignment with the European season opens up the chance for more of the European players to come play here in the States, uh, which is now looking like a growing market for the game of soccer, um, football, whatever you want to call it.
00:32:17.200 --> 00:32:19.440
Um, and I do think that it's a it's a great thing.
00:32:19.519 --> 00:32:31.519
Uh, I did kind of call these changes happening um when Lionel Messi decided to come over and play for Inter Miami uh a few years ago on when he first made the move and the big, big splash.
00:32:31.599 --> 00:32:38.480
Uh I think that move, and people may not really see it right now just because we're in the middle of it.
00:32:38.640 --> 00:32:54.640
But when you look back, that move, that one signing of that one player being the GOAT, and you guys know how I feel about him, has kind of shifted things to where these European players are now looking at like life in the States, teams in the States, and you know, coming over and actually playing just because the GOAT did it.
00:32:54.720 --> 00:33:00.480
And now he's actually proven that, you know, the we the league may be weaker compared to some of the European leagues.
00:33:00.559 --> 00:33:04.880
But I think when Messi came over, people thought it was kind of him like riding off into the sunset.
00:33:04.960 --> 00:33:06.880
I'm gonna just go play in Miami.
00:33:06.960 --> 00:33:14.640
Uh, a la David Beckham, a la Zlat Zlatan Ibrahimovich, some of my other favorite players for historically in soccer.
00:33:14.720 --> 00:33:24.799
Uh, when they came over, it was more so at the end of their career just to keep playing, you know, just to experience something different, experience a different country, different vibe, you know, and kind of like go along with that.
00:33:24.960 --> 00:33:35.200
Uh, but now I think it it is good to see someone who's dominating on the world stage still uh be able to play in the MLS and like draw more attention and draw more light to that league.
00:33:35.359 --> 00:33:39.440
So much so that they've got other younger stars coming over to play in the MLS.
00:33:39.519 --> 00:33:51.680
Well, not so much younger, they're still a little bit on the older side, uh, mainly like Antoine Griezmann and most recently Robert Lewandowski, who who left Barcelona to come play for the Chicago, um, uh playing Chicago in the MLS.
00:33:51.759 --> 00:33:56.000
And they both of them, Griezmann and Lewandowski, are tearing shit up out there.
00:33:56.079 --> 00:34:02.079
So I think it shows one, the level of quality that we have here in the States is starting to rise a little bit.
00:34:02.240 --> 00:34:08.480
Um, and again, it just creates some more of a global expansion for soccer so there's a more appealing game all across and creates more opportunities.
00:34:08.639 --> 00:34:12.719
Uh, and you know, again, some players really look taking a look at the life in the U.S.
00:34:12.800 --> 00:34:17.119
who, you know, may want to come over here anyway at some point just to check it out and just to play, you know.
00:34:17.280 --> 00:34:24.239
And I think a lot of them don't really want to because it's like a stain on their resume, feeling like they got to play in the MLS in the height of their career.
00:34:24.400 --> 00:34:28.239
Uh, but when with the rising tide, I think all ships uh are are gonna lift.
00:34:28.320 --> 00:34:40.320
And I think I I I directly want to call that the messy effect, whether it is, whether it isn't, I don't know specifics on that, but I do feel like the that shift happened around when he decided to come over and play uh in the MLS.
00:34:40.400 --> 00:34:41.199
And I'm here for it, man.
00:34:41.280 --> 00:34:52.239
And now you got guys who are also legends, maybe a little bit older, like Neymar, they're saying he might come to enter Miami and give it a real, real like look when he has a chance to come over in the transfer window window.
00:34:52.400 --> 00:35:01.679
And De Bruiner as well, and Romululukaku, like guys who are like really, really, you know, respected on the world stage coming over here and playing in the States, I think is a good thing, man.
00:35:01.840 --> 00:35:02.800
So I support it.
00:35:02.880 --> 00:35:03.599
I'm here for it.
00:35:03.760 --> 00:35:10.719
Love all the changes I'm seeing with the MLS, and again, just to be able to grow the global game of soccer and make it more appealing all across.
00:35:11.679 --> 00:35:16.719
That said, that's pretty much everything on the sports side that we wanted to tap into.
00:35:17.039 --> 00:35:23.119
Um, but with that, I will get into something that's a little bit more close to heart in this in this sense.
00:35:23.280 --> 00:35:42.639
Um, you guys know I like to be the living example, and you know I love to, you know, really just share and spread all of my experiences that I'm going through in my my current journey as a new entrepreneur, uh, where people they like a lot of people will talk about the wins when they get there and some of the losses that they took when they get there.
00:35:42.800 --> 00:35:56.079
Uh, but I think someone who's really boots on the ground trying to grow something, uh, it's important for people to give that kind of perspective for those people that can buy along or buy in with that or go along with that just because they might be feeling those things themselves.
00:35:56.239 --> 00:36:02.880
So uh I present you my piece uh on changing your habits as a business owner.
00:36:03.039 --> 00:36:05.840
Um and this comes off of a conversation that I had with Queen Christine.
00:36:05.920 --> 00:36:20.400
Hopefully she doesn't really mind me mentioning this, but we got into a little bit of a tense conversation, um, which not very often, just because we handle things for the most part very uh respectfully and not to say that it wasn't respectful, but we just chill for the most part.
00:36:20.559 --> 00:36:30.480
That's why, you know, anytime we really have to speak about something, it never really lasts too long, uh, which is a sign of you know being in a great relationship with someone who can uh grow with you.
00:36:30.559 --> 00:36:39.440
And then, you know, you kind of match each other's vibe and can bounce off of each other as far as how you deal with issues and deal with problems and deal with hearing each other out.
00:36:39.599 --> 00:37:08.079
00:37:08.159 --> 00:37:18.400
Uh, but I say that to say that, you know, our conversation really opened my eyes up to myself and where I'm at as a business owner and understanding that, you know, I come last.
00:37:18.719 --> 00:37:27.280
Um and for anyone else who's going through it, you know, it's maybe there's something you could relate to, maybe it's something that you might have gone through as far as the shift in your mentality.
00:37:27.360 --> 00:37:29.840
Um, but it's something I'm in the middle of real time right now.
00:37:29.920 --> 00:37:40.159
And, you know, I'm so used to being someone that has either played for a basketball team that's paid me money or work for someone else that, you know, has paid me money.
00:37:40.320 --> 00:37:52.800
Um, then being able to just have money coming in and then be able to just budget or plan my money out, or even like waste some of my money the ways that I wanted to, just because, you know, sometimes I'm someone who likes to enjoy my life.
00:37:52.960 --> 00:38:03.679
But getting into this whole new entrepreneurial phase has been a little bit of a challenge to be able to move away from that mentality and lock in on what life should be for me right now.
00:38:03.840 --> 00:38:10.639
Um, and conversation was good, you know, it got to a positive place, and I think we came to a place of understanding.
00:38:10.800 --> 00:38:30.960
Um, but I do feel like that shift is something that I need to lean into even more, uh, just because understanding where you're at as a business owner now can help the longevity of the business and being able to uh put me on the path to growth, success, positive trajectory, all that stuff uh in the next coming years.
00:38:31.119 --> 00:38:32.320
And I just said it.
00:38:32.400 --> 00:38:34.800
I'm a person that likes to live life, enjoy things.
00:38:34.880 --> 00:38:35.760
I love nice things.
00:38:35.840 --> 00:38:39.760
I've always been a person who, you know, likes to splurge on myself a little bit.
00:38:39.920 --> 00:38:44.320
Um, but now I gotta get into the mindset of like you really do come last, you know.
00:38:44.480 --> 00:38:50.639
And the things that people don't tell you when you're starting to open a business is a lot of the things that I'm in the middle of right now.
00:38:50.800 --> 00:38:54.880
Of course, you know you gotta save, of course, you know you gotta plan for this and plan for that.
00:38:55.039 --> 00:39:05.760
But, you know, uh the the feelings that that causes within your own life about the decisions you have to make and the discipline that you have to like really start to live by uh is two different things, you know.
00:39:05.920 --> 00:39:17.840
And uh now it's to the point where I really have to look at everything I'm doing financially from a different lens, just because one, I'm responsible for the growth of the business, two, I'm responsible for other people.
00:39:17.920 --> 00:39:19.840
Like I have staff that I pay, you know.
00:39:20.000 --> 00:39:28.960
So everything that I have coming in has to be towards one or both of those things first uh before I can even really look at what I want to do for myself, you know.
00:39:29.199 --> 00:39:36.639
And doing anything for yourself right now is kind of off the off the like it's off the table just because we're not at that point in the business yet.
00:39:36.880 --> 00:39:45.440
And it's something that just has to happen as far as the sacrifices that I need to make uh in order to, you know, keep things in line with where I wanted to be.
00:39:45.679 --> 00:39:51.920
Um and I'm not it's not a complaint, it's not really like uh anything that I'm down about.
00:39:52.000 --> 00:40:08.880
It's just really just a shift in perspective and realizing that, you know, my priorities are something that I have to really take more seriously in this new phase of my life, especially if I want this thing to grow over the next five, 10, 15 years uh in the way that I see it and the visions that I have for myself and a life that I want to live.
00:40:08.960 --> 00:40:20.559
You know, it's not about the right now, it's about the future, and and and and discipline is doing the the hard things over and over and over and over again without seeing the immediate result from them, um, and just still holding true to that.
00:40:20.719 --> 00:40:23.679
So I'm in the middle of it now, and I'm not gonna say I'm the best.
00:40:23.840 --> 00:40:27.519
I don't have the the best mindset, but I am experiencing that shift.
00:40:27.679 --> 00:40:32.000
Maybe it's coming along with me being 40 just because I'm looking at everything kind of differently now.
00:40:32.159 --> 00:40:44.480
Um, but I also want to embrace that because you know, it it doesn't get to the successful point without going through these little mini changes or big changes internally that kind of lead you there.
00:40:44.559 --> 00:41:13.280
00:41:13.440 --> 00:41:16.320
Um, but all in all, I'm fulfilled, man.
00:41:16.400 --> 00:41:33.519
I was just having a conversation with one of my friends out in France uh basically before I came over here to record, um, just telling them that listen, I I am very blessed and very fortunate to be in a position to where I've been working for myself for over a year, uh headed towards about a year and a half at this point.
00:41:33.760 --> 00:41:37.199
Um, but I do see more for myself in the future.
00:41:37.360 --> 00:41:45.519
And in order to get there, it does require a a little bit of just again, shift and again, focus uh and discipline.
00:41:45.679 --> 00:41:48.800
So that said, man, that's just my tidbit on that for today.
00:41:49.199 --> 00:41:51.760
Entrepreneurs, tap in, fuck with me.
00:41:52.000 --> 00:41:56.880
Those who are willing to make the most out of any situation, same likewise, man.
00:41:57.119 --> 00:42:00.000
But all of that is all I got to say for today.
00:42:00.159 --> 00:42:06.639
Um, so with that said, man, as always, guard yourself mentally, physically, and spiritually, and all things in between.
00:42:06.800 --> 00:42:11.760
Until the next time, we'll catch you for another one, D Burke Out, episode number 83.
00:42:12.400 --> 00:42:13.039
Peace.
