Ryan Blair hit rock bottom.

He sold his house, his cars, the toolbox he used to make money, moved into an apartment next to his shop, walked to work, and spent 18 hours a day, seven days a week, trying to save his business.

His back was against the wall, and everything was on the line.

That is when Ryan realized something had to change.

What got him there wasn't going to get him out.

He needed help.

Ryan found a mentor and approached the opportunity with what he describes as absolute humility and vulnerability. He stopped pretending he had all the answers and started learning the fundamentals he had been missing.

Business. Leadership. Recruiting. Accountability. Financials.

But even after Ryan started doing the right things, the results didn't immediately follow.

He spent years climbing out of more than $1 million in debt and learned firsthand that there can be a significant gap between doing the work and seeing the results.

During that season, Ryan had to remind himself of the evidence.

He had overcome every challenge he had ever faced.

Why should the challenge in front of him be any different?

Eventually, Ryan began to understand that the valley wasn't just something he needed to survive.

It was building something in him.

Skills. Resilience. Experience. Confidence. The ability to know that even if everything disappeared again, he had become someone capable of rebuilding.

In this No Surrender Quick Lesson, Justin Cole and $50M+ Founder Ryan Blair explore what rock bottom can teach us about resilience, humility, pain, ownership, and becoming who the next level requires.

Justin and Ryan cover:

How hitting rock bottom forced Ryan to completely rethink his path
Why what gets you to one level may not get you to the next
How humility and vulnerability became essential to Ryan's comeback
Why progress can feel invisible even when you're doing everything right
How remembering what you've already overcome can change the way you face what's next
Why the valley may be building more in you than you realize
How pain can force you to adapt, grow, and become who the next level requires

Whether you're rebuilding a business, facing financial pressure, navigating failure, pursuing a goal, or going through a season where you can't see the other side yet, Ryan offers a different way to think about the valley.

Don't just focus on what you're losing.

Pay attention to what you're building within yourself.

Remember the evidence.

You've overcome before.

You can overcome again.
