The Philadelphia Eagles’ offense struggled against the Los Angeles Rams, but Darius Cooper’s two-touchdown performance and red zone prowess kept hopes alive for fans seeking positives. With Saquon Barkley sidelined early, Will Shipley and Tank Bigsby battled through a tough defensive front, grinding out hard-earned yards and extending key drives with patience and determination. The offensive line faltered, raising questions about future adjustments and game planning.
Defensively, Jeremiah Trotter Jr. impressed in his first start at linebacker despite some rookie mistakes, flashing playmaking ability with critical tackles and coverage plays. Nolan Smith delivered his best performance of the season, notching a sack and generating constant pressure that tipped the balance on both Rams interceptions. Andrew Mukuba rounded out the highlights, securing the first Eagles interception of the year and proving solid in open-field coverage. Can these emerging stars spark a turnaround for Philadelphia in the NFL season’s next stretch?
