אודות פרק זה
In this mindbending episode, Tracy sits down with David Chartrand, independent consciousness researcher and Executive Director of CUSAC (Center for the Unification of Science and Consciousness).
David’s path into consciousness research didn’t begin in spirituality. It began in mathematics, physics, computer science, and a deep desire to understand reality itself. Originally pursuing the foundations of physics to solve mysteries like black holes, quantum mechanics, and the origins of the universe, David eventually encountered a deeper question:
What is consciousness — and why can’t science explain it?
What followed was a journey bridging hard science, philosophy, altered states of consciousness, quantum theory, artificial intelligence, and some of the biggest unanswered questions humanity faces.
This conversation explores the view that consciousness may not "emerge" from matter, but might actually be the foundation of what we know as physical reality.
• Why modern science still cannot explain subjective experience • Why David calls consciousness “the ultimate scientific problem”
• The concept that consciousness may function as “hardware,” not software• The difference between intelligence and awareness• What AI may reveal about the nature of mind itself• Why David believes society is “building the future on a foundation we don’t understand”• How VR gaming technology may become a revolutionary platform for consciousness research
David also shares his fascinating research initiative called Project Player Mind — a groundbreaking project using global video game-play as a consciousness research lab offering unprecedented, large-scale data collection measuring the influence of intention and intuition across millions of participating players.
