Let's do this? So hello and welcome to Intuitive Connection.
9
00:00:41.719 --> 00:00:45.759
I'm your host, intuitive counselor and spiritual guide, Victorious Shaw.
10
00:00:46.640 --> 00:00:51.159
And today I wanted to pop on and share about
11
00:00:51.159 --> 00:00:54.560
an experience I had the other day watching a basketball
12
00:00:54.600 --> 00:00:59.039
game and how interesting it is and how our life
13
00:00:59.079 --> 00:01:02.280
can be or live differently, and I think in a
14
00:01:02.320 --> 00:01:05.359
lot of ways, in a more fulfilling, joyous way when
15
00:01:05.400 --> 00:01:08.640
we already know how things are going to work out
16
00:01:09.159 --> 00:01:12.959
and spoiler alert, everything's always working out for you and
17
00:01:13.280 --> 00:01:19.000
everything is always okay. And when we know that deep inside, right,
18
00:01:20.239 --> 00:01:23.079
life just becomes a really fun adventure that we get
19
00:01:23.120 --> 00:01:25.920
to navigate and play and explore, right, but we don't
20
00:01:25.959 --> 00:01:29.799
necessarily take it as seriously. And all of this was
21
00:01:29.879 --> 00:01:32.439
reminded to me. I don't know if that's good grammar,
22
00:01:32.519 --> 00:01:35.319
but I think you know what I mean an experience
23
00:01:35.560 --> 00:01:40.239
I had recently watching a basketball game, and so I
24
00:01:40.359 --> 00:01:43.599
have been a fan of the team, the Detroit Pistons
25
00:01:43.640 --> 00:01:45.200
for as long as I can remember, since I was
26
00:01:45.200 --> 00:01:47.799
a little kid. I used to go to games with
27
00:01:47.840 --> 00:01:51.359
my family, especially with my dad and my whole family,
28
00:01:51.560 --> 00:01:54.239
and sometime I think it was like two years of
29
00:01:54.359 --> 00:01:56.480
just going to games. We had season tickets before I
30
00:01:56.519 --> 00:01:58.480
even saw them win a game. So I was like
31
00:01:58.519 --> 00:02:02.040
a diehard fan, and we went a lot throughout my
32
00:02:02.120 --> 00:02:06.680
childhood until in the late eighties early nineties finally we
33
00:02:06.719 --> 00:02:09.199
had a winning team and that was a very exciting
34
00:02:09.280 --> 00:02:12.120
time in my life. And then again in the early
35
00:02:12.199 --> 00:02:16.759
two thousands and again now they're playing really really well
36
00:02:16.800 --> 00:02:20.120
and they're leading their division, the Eastern Conference, so that's
37
00:02:20.199 --> 00:02:22.719
really really exciting, and so I've gotten back into watching
38
00:02:22.759 --> 00:02:25.719
these games and it's really super fun. One of the
39
00:02:25.759 --> 00:02:28.919
barmbers is is that in the past, when I would
40
00:02:28.960 --> 00:02:32.120
watch Pistons games, I was in the same time zone
41
00:02:32.319 --> 00:02:35.319
as the Detroit Pistons, the Eastern time zone, and so
42
00:02:36.080 --> 00:02:38.439
the majority of the games would be in my time
43
00:02:38.520 --> 00:02:41.879
zone or thereabouts. But nowadays I'm on the West Coast,
44
00:02:42.039 --> 00:02:45.039
and so if my beloved team plays a game at
45
00:02:45.039 --> 00:02:47.879
seven thirty PM, that's four thirty for me, and I
46
00:02:47.960 --> 00:02:51.560
might still be working. I'm trying, but you know, I
47
00:02:51.599 --> 00:02:54.360
have to manage all these different facets of my life.
48
00:02:54.439 --> 00:02:57.639
So I have taken to watching some of the games
49
00:02:57.639 --> 00:03:00.360
on replay. And the first one that I watched on
50
00:03:00.400 --> 00:03:03.280
replays the one that kind of inspired this podcast. But
51
00:03:03.360 --> 00:03:06.879
I've watched a couple now that way. And the thing
52
00:03:06.919 --> 00:03:10.240
about watching a game on replay right is you probably
53
00:03:10.280 --> 00:03:12.919
know how it ends right because it already happened. And
54
00:03:12.919 --> 00:03:14.919
that was with this first game I watched. It was
55
00:03:14.960 --> 00:03:19.080
a phenomenal game between the Detroit Pistons and the Boston Celtics,
56
00:03:19.479 --> 00:03:22.080
who are my least favorite team in the NBA. Sorry
57
00:03:22.120 --> 00:03:25.319
Celtics fans, but I've been holding a garde since the nineties.
58
00:03:25.560 --> 00:03:28.599
Go figure. But anyway, if you love the Celtics, I
59
00:03:28.599 --> 00:03:31.199
still love you. So I was watching a phenomenal game.
60
00:03:31.240 --> 00:03:33.639
It was a really really good game, and it was
61
00:03:33.680 --> 00:03:35.800
a close game and a lot of times and so
62
00:03:35.879 --> 00:03:38.520
it was like a little bit of some Cliffhangary moments.
63
00:03:38.759 --> 00:03:42.000
And the thing was it was a replay, so I
64
00:03:42.080 --> 00:03:44.759
knew my team was gonna win, right, I knew it
65
00:03:44.800 --> 00:03:48.319
was a sure thing, And nonetheless, I really enjoyed the game,
66
00:03:48.360 --> 00:03:50.879
the artistry of the game, even a little bit of
67
00:03:50.919 --> 00:03:54.240
like the cliffhanger aspect of the game, even though I
68
00:03:54.319 --> 00:03:58.360
knew they were going to win. And friends, you know,
69
00:03:58.400 --> 00:04:00.919
if you know anything about me, you may also know
70
00:04:01.159 --> 00:04:03.680
that my other favorite thing to do in my spare
71
00:04:03.719 --> 00:04:07.479
time is rom coms and romance novels, right, And what
72
00:04:07.560 --> 00:04:10.400
I love about both of those genres, right is they're happy,
73
00:04:10.479 --> 00:04:13.840
feel good and you know how they're going to end. Right,
74
00:04:13.919 --> 00:04:18.000
It's always a happy ending. And I started thinking about, like,
75
00:04:18.240 --> 00:04:21.600
what would life be life if everything was like this, right,
76
00:04:21.720 --> 00:04:24.040
if we knew in our course all going to be okay.
77
00:04:24.360 --> 00:04:27.120
You know, there's some ups and downs, there's some problems
78
00:04:27.160 --> 00:04:29.680
that you know, we got to figure out how they're
79
00:04:29.720 --> 00:04:32.720
going to get solved, right, but they're going to get solved.
80
00:04:32.759 --> 00:04:36.279
It's all going to be okay. And you know, watching
81
00:04:36.319 --> 00:04:38.800
the game and having that experience made it so fun.
82
00:04:38.920 --> 00:04:42.319
It didn't wasn't anxious. I wasn't worried because I knew
83
00:04:42.319 --> 00:04:45.600
my team was gonna win, and of course, luck in
84
00:04:45.639 --> 00:04:48.079
the short term in life, we don't always know that
85
00:04:48.120 --> 00:04:50.240
things are going to turn out the way that we like.
86
00:04:50.759 --> 00:04:53.360
When I watch a game, you know, in my time zone,
87
00:04:53.480 --> 00:04:55.839
or when I have the opportunity to start in another
88
00:04:55.879 --> 00:04:57.879
time zone, or a lot of times, right I just
89
00:04:57.959 --> 00:05:00.839
catch the second half, which is fine too, and I
90
00:05:00.920 --> 00:05:03.120
don't know how it's going to end. It may not
91
00:05:03.240 --> 00:05:05.279
turn out the way that my mind wants it to.
92
00:05:05.600 --> 00:05:07.639
I always want the Pistons to win. I am a
93
00:05:07.720 --> 00:05:11.959
huge Pistons fan. Go Pistons, right. But in the deeper
94
00:05:12.399 --> 00:05:15.480
scheme of things, the truth is, it's all working out.
95
00:05:15.839 --> 00:05:18.519
It's all working out, and it's all working out for
96
00:05:18.560 --> 00:05:21.639
a couple of reasons. One because everything that you want
97
00:05:22.439 --> 00:05:24.959
eventually will find you. Okay, it may or may not
98
00:05:25.000 --> 00:05:27.800
be in this body, but it may. But it's a coming.
99
00:05:27.959 --> 00:05:30.920
It's a coming. You're creating all the time, and every
100
00:05:31.160 --> 00:05:36.199
unrequested desire is manifesting somewhere at some time, even if
101
00:05:36.199 --> 00:05:38.879
you are not experiencing it right now. And the more
102
00:05:38.920 --> 00:05:42.040
that we recognize that that's so, the more we open
103
00:05:42.040 --> 00:05:45.160
ourselves to the possibility that we might experience it sometime
104
00:05:45.199 --> 00:05:48.439
really soon, because we'll be aligned and experiencing it in
105
00:05:49.160 --> 00:05:52.920
this timeline and from this point of attraction. Okay, but
106
00:05:52.959 --> 00:05:57.680
there's also a deeper reason why things are always working out,
107
00:05:57.839 --> 00:06:01.720
because there's nothing wrong with anything at your core in
108
00:06:01.759 --> 00:06:06.560
a spiritual sense. You're safe, you're well, you're okay, you're beautiful,
109
00:06:06.639 --> 00:06:10.240
you're lovable, you're strong. All of the things that the
110
00:06:10.360 --> 00:06:14.199
human world sometimes seems to convince us is not true
111
00:06:14.360 --> 00:06:17.279
is just part of the illusion, right, It's just the illusion.
112
00:06:17.319 --> 00:06:20.000
It's just the shadow side of who and what we
113
00:06:20.120 --> 00:06:23.319
really are, right, which is a turn of love, that's
114
00:06:23.360 --> 00:06:26.519
pretty much it, right and peace and joy. And so
115
00:06:27.639 --> 00:06:30.079
when we can tap in more and more to that,
116
00:06:30.240 --> 00:06:32.600
then we're living in alignment with the true resting place
117
00:06:32.639 --> 00:06:35.040
of our soul. And again we're going to experience that
118
00:06:35.160 --> 00:06:38.639
more and more in this physical form. But the bigger
119
00:06:38.759 --> 00:06:41.360
thing to God, say that I got from this experience
120
00:06:41.439 --> 00:06:43.800
of watching the game and knowing how it was going
121
00:06:43.839 --> 00:06:46.079
to end, or knowing that it was all going to
122
00:06:46.120 --> 00:06:49.800
be okay, is that I was just relaxed. I was
123
00:06:49.959 --> 00:06:53.639
just enjoying the show. I was curious to know how
124
00:06:53.680 --> 00:06:56.920
the game was going to play out. I was curious,
125
00:06:57.120 --> 00:06:59.240
you know, to see, like when you know we were
126
00:06:59.279 --> 00:07:01.560
down so many points, how we were going to get
127
00:07:01.600 --> 00:07:03.399
back up because I think we were going to win,
128
00:07:04.199 --> 00:07:06.519
and so it was very fun in that kind of way,
129
00:07:07.120 --> 00:07:10.240
but it wasn't this nail biting Oh my god, you know,
130
00:07:10.319 --> 00:07:13.279
everything could be wrong, what's going to happen next? And
131
00:07:13.279 --> 00:07:15.680
that's how many of us live our lives. The guys
132
00:07:15.720 --> 00:07:18.079
even say that's why so many of us are attracted
133
00:07:18.160 --> 00:07:21.279
to sports and things like that, because it sort of
134
00:07:21.399 --> 00:07:25.519
mimics and mirrors that kind of constant state of tension
135
00:07:25.600 --> 00:07:29.360
and stress that we go through. Now believing that you know,
136
00:07:29.439 --> 00:07:32.680
our highest selves will prevail and on the highest level
137
00:07:32.800 --> 00:07:36.680
they will. They are they already have. Everything is working
138
00:07:36.720 --> 00:07:40.399
out exactly right, just in this moment. Now you were okay,
139
00:07:40.480 --> 00:07:44.439
you are lovable, you're safe. All is well. And again,
140
00:07:44.519 --> 00:07:47.040
the more that we can tune into that and live
141
00:07:47.120 --> 00:07:51.160
from that presumption, the more delightful life becomes, because then
142
00:07:51.240 --> 00:07:54.199
when we get an obstacle or something going on, rather
143
00:07:54.240 --> 00:07:57.399
than panicking, we go back to that natural state of
144
00:07:57.439 --> 00:07:59.680
well being and we say, whatever is here as part
145
00:07:59.720 --> 00:08:02.079
of the and it's part of the show. But in
146
00:08:02.120 --> 00:08:05.600
the end, everything is going to work out for me, okay.
147
00:08:06.399 --> 00:08:09.680
And again, this may or may not mean in your
148
00:08:09.720 --> 00:08:12.519
physical body okay, So we kind of got to let
149
00:08:12.519 --> 00:08:14.439
go of that, but it very well made the guides say,
150
00:08:14.600 --> 00:08:17.720
they don't want me to qualify so hard because they
151
00:08:17.759 --> 00:08:20.920
want you to restore faith that things are going your way,
152
00:08:21.040 --> 00:08:24.079
because when you believe that, they will more and more.
153
00:08:24.759 --> 00:08:28.040
But what it really is is tuning in too, that
154
00:08:28.199 --> 00:08:31.560
true state, that truth that no matter what's happening out there,
155
00:08:32.200 --> 00:08:36.519
really and truly you're all right, you're all right, and
156
00:08:36.600 --> 00:08:39.840
even when the worst thing happens, right and we leave
157
00:08:39.919 --> 00:08:43.000
our bodies right, we change into that other state. I've
158
00:08:43.000 --> 00:08:45.399
been shown again and again by talking to my spirit
159
00:08:45.519 --> 00:08:49.279
friends they're doing okay, they're at peace, and you can
160
00:08:49.360 --> 00:08:53.279
have that here now too, more and more and more
161
00:08:53.919 --> 00:08:58.759
by remembering that core truth that everything is always working
162
00:08:58.759 --> 00:09:01.960
out for me right, that all as well. And that's
163
00:09:02.039 --> 00:09:05.200
the experience I had watching this game. I was watching
164
00:09:05.240 --> 00:09:07.840
the game, and I knew how it was going to end,
165
00:09:08.600 --> 00:09:12.279
and it was just fun because I just wasn't stressing about,
166
00:09:12.519 --> 00:09:15.120
you know, what was going to happen, because I already knew.
167
00:09:15.159 --> 00:09:17.279
I just had to figure out how they were going
168
00:09:17.360 --> 00:09:25.519
to get there. Fast forward to some other games that
169
00:09:25.600 --> 00:09:27.879
I watched since that experience and A few of them
170
00:09:27.919 --> 00:09:30.480
have been prerecorded, where I tried not to know how
171
00:09:30.480 --> 00:09:33.320
they ended, but then my Facebook, you know, when I
172
00:09:33.440 --> 00:09:36.320
picked up or pinged or something, it was in my feed.
173
00:09:36.399 --> 00:09:39.679
So I haven't watched a recorded one blind yet. I tried,
174
00:09:40.360 --> 00:09:43.200
but I've watched a few, you know, in real time
175
00:09:43.399 --> 00:09:48.039
where even when the Pistons lost, gasp, and you know,
176
00:09:48.360 --> 00:09:53.320
remembering the experience of watching that game with the Celtics
177
00:09:53.360 --> 00:09:56.120
help me remember just how fun it is to watch
178
00:09:56.159 --> 00:09:58.799
the game, Just how fun it is to watch the game,
179
00:09:59.120 --> 00:10:01.519
to see what's gonna happen, to see the ups and
180
00:10:01.559 --> 00:10:06.639
downs without this huge attachment to how it has to
181
00:10:06.679 --> 00:10:09.320
be and how it has to work out and what
182
00:10:09.559 --> 00:10:12.000
has to happen, and without the guide saying I want
183
00:10:12.000 --> 00:10:14.440
to get this right from them, but they say go ahead.
184
00:10:14.960 --> 00:10:18.120
That thing and that feeling in the pit of my stomach,
185
00:10:18.559 --> 00:10:21.519
you know, where I feel like I'll be diminished somehow
186
00:10:22.080 --> 00:10:26.519
if my team doesn't win, and though on some level
187
00:10:26.720 --> 00:10:30.159
that can create some excitement because the unknown is exciting.
188
00:10:30.519 --> 00:10:33.399
And you know, occasionally I'll read a novel that I
189
00:10:33.440 --> 00:10:37.440
don't totally totally know how it'll end, but I'm known
190
00:10:37.440 --> 00:10:40.320
to cheat friends if I'm watching something and it looks
191
00:10:40.360 --> 00:10:42.440
like something bad is going to happen, or something I
192
00:10:42.480 --> 00:10:45.039
don't like is going to happen, then I'll I'll just
193
00:10:45.120 --> 00:10:47.879
ask Google, you know, does this person die? Does this
194
00:10:47.960 --> 00:10:50.840
work out? And then usually if it's bad news, I'll
195
00:10:50.840 --> 00:10:53.600
fast forward through the iggy part or stop watching altogether.
196
00:10:53.679 --> 00:10:56.720
Because I actually like to fill my cop with things
197
00:10:56.720 --> 00:10:59.120
that make me feel good, and I'm just not that
198
00:10:59.240 --> 00:11:01.879
attracted to the drama so much anymore. I like to
199
00:11:01.879 --> 00:11:04.559
feel good as much as possible, and so that's why
200
00:11:04.679 --> 00:11:09.360
I gravitate towards these feel good experiences. And yet, when
201
00:11:09.399 --> 00:11:11.879
you are watching a basketball game, part of the fun
202
00:11:12.039 --> 00:11:14.559
is knowing that maybe they're not going to get every game,
203
00:11:15.000 --> 00:11:17.399
you know, and win every game. And that's okay too,
204
00:11:18.120 --> 00:11:21.759
because you see, here in life, if we look at
205
00:11:21.799 --> 00:11:24.879
it from that soul's perspective, your soul knows a couple
206
00:11:25.039 --> 00:11:28.559
things that your human self tends to forget. Number One,
207
00:11:29.159 --> 00:11:31.279
on the highest level, it's always working out for you,
208
00:11:31.480 --> 00:11:33.600
and maybe not even on the highest level, it's just
209
00:11:33.639 --> 00:11:36.600
always working out for you, and your soul knows this
210
00:11:36.679 --> 00:11:39.840
to be true. Two, your soul doesn't really care about
211
00:11:39.840 --> 00:11:42.519
the nitty gritty of how you carry that out right,
212
00:11:42.600 --> 00:11:45.320
it's all a game to your soul, you know, it's
213
00:11:45.360 --> 00:11:48.559
all working out, everything's exactly as it should be, and
214
00:11:48.600 --> 00:11:51.679
then it becomes kind of interesting to see, like how
215
00:11:51.759 --> 00:11:53.639
you're going to play, how you're going to play what
216
00:11:53.720 --> 00:11:57.639
you get right, it's really really fun. And your soul,
217
00:11:58.000 --> 00:12:00.960
the Guide say, also doesn't have an attachment to a
218
00:12:01.000 --> 00:12:04.480
specific outcome, right, And that's really hard for our human
219
00:12:04.519 --> 00:12:07.080
selves to understand, especially, And I'm going to kind of
220
00:12:07.080 --> 00:12:09.960
ask this question too, knowing that we come in here
221
00:12:10.000 --> 00:12:12.000
to do something, we come in here with an intention.
222
00:12:12.480 --> 00:12:15.879
So guys, does that really mean that your soul doesn't
223
00:12:15.879 --> 00:12:19.639
care if you don't achieve your soul's intention? And the
224
00:12:19.679 --> 00:12:24.000
Guide say that in that question, I am completely misunderstanding
225
00:12:24.039 --> 00:12:27.399
everything or getting it wrong, is what they're saying. They
226
00:12:27.399 --> 00:12:29.679
were saying, Have I heard of correct me, I'm misunderstanding
227
00:12:29.720 --> 00:12:32.559
everything wrong, which does not make logical sense, but that
228
00:12:32.799 --> 00:12:35.480
is literally what I heard. So I'm gonna take a
229
00:12:35.480 --> 00:12:38.320
breast so I can hear them really clearly now. And
230
00:12:38.559 --> 00:12:43.399
they're just laughing, so as they sometimes do. They must
231
00:12:43.480 --> 00:12:46.240
just think I'm really cute right now. But what they're
232
00:12:46.279 --> 00:12:48.320
saying is this, and I want to tune back in
233
00:12:48.360 --> 00:12:53.519
because I lost the thread altogether. What they're saying with
234
00:12:53.559 --> 00:12:55.720
this is when your soul comes in with an intention,
235
00:12:55.879 --> 00:12:59.440
with an idea, the main point is to play. You
236
00:12:59.440 --> 00:13:02.159
think about it, you're taking a theme, right, and you're
237
00:13:02.200 --> 00:13:05.879
exploring that theme for many different angles, and maybe you're
238
00:13:06.159 --> 00:13:09.879
throwing in some potential obstacles or some potential, right, because
239
00:13:09.919 --> 00:13:13.200
early in life we kind of create, you know, the
240
00:13:13.200 --> 00:13:15.879
potential for what we're going to create later on, based
241
00:13:15.919 --> 00:13:18.360
on the experiences we have early on that tell us
242
00:13:18.399 --> 00:13:20.759
how life is supposed to work. And they say, even
243
00:13:20.799 --> 00:13:24.919
those early on experiences are often attracted in by ones
244
00:13:24.919 --> 00:13:27.320
that you had in other bodies or other dimensions or
245
00:13:27.360 --> 00:13:30.240
other things too. Right, So this is a very simplified
246
00:13:30.279 --> 00:13:33.320
way of explaining it, but they're saying, you have an intention,
247
00:13:33.440 --> 00:13:36.600
you have something that is attracted in all the things
248
00:13:36.639 --> 00:13:39.840
that you're experiencing now, and your soul is fascinated about
249
00:13:39.840 --> 00:13:43.279
that and excited about that. And remember, all these lifetimes
250
00:13:43.279 --> 00:13:45.879
and things are happening all at the same time, so
251
00:13:45.960 --> 00:13:48.879
your soul is stretching in all these different directions and
252
00:13:49.120 --> 00:13:52.360
doing all these different things and just enjoying all of
253
00:13:52.399 --> 00:13:55.519
the movement, all the things that are happening, But your
254
00:13:55.559 --> 00:14:01.320
soul doesn't really care specifically about what happens. Your soul
255
00:14:01.399 --> 00:14:04.360
is just in it for the ride, and it's your
256
00:14:04.600 --> 00:14:09.879
human self that experiences those moments of alignment and goes, oh,
257
00:14:10.120 --> 00:14:12.000
that little how do I say it? Am I getting
258
00:14:12.000 --> 00:14:14.799
this right? They say, yes, go ahead, these little pieces
259
00:14:14.919 --> 00:14:18.799
of you, these little they say, waves of intention that
260
00:14:19.120 --> 00:14:22.000
ran off to do a little fun path. If you
261
00:14:22.159 --> 00:14:25.320
think about it with the analogy that Victoria's given, and
262
00:14:25.360 --> 00:14:27.440
you think about your soul as something apart from you,
263
00:14:27.519 --> 00:14:29.879
which it isn't. You're just an expression of it and
264
00:14:29.960 --> 00:14:33.080
everything's happening at once. But if you think perhaps that
265
00:14:33.120 --> 00:14:36.080
there's a piece of you right in a higher realm
266
00:14:36.159 --> 00:14:39.759
looking down, which they say is a fair approximation of
267
00:14:39.799 --> 00:14:44.360
how you could understand things from your vantage point, that
268
00:14:44.399 --> 00:14:46.720
little piece of you, which you may call your higher
269
00:14:46.759 --> 00:14:50.039
self or your soul, is just enjoying the show. It's
270
00:14:50.200 --> 00:14:53.919
loving you, it's cheering you on. It understands what that
271
00:14:53.960 --> 00:14:56.440
little piece of you set out to do, and it
272
00:14:56.519 --> 00:14:58.879
might be really excited when you know you make the
273
00:14:58.919 --> 00:15:00.960
slam dunk or you make a good play. But it
274
00:15:01.039 --> 00:15:04.840
also knows that you have forgotten sometimes, my friends, is
275
00:15:04.879 --> 00:15:08.919
that it's all working out and everything's wow, and everything's
276
00:15:08.960 --> 00:15:11.960
working all the time in perfect synchronicity, and no matter
277
00:15:12.039 --> 00:15:16.679
what step you take right in the end, it's just
278
00:15:16.720 --> 00:15:19.240
going to take you back home to all the beautifulness.
279
00:15:20.480 --> 00:15:23.480
And so your soul can apprehend, which your human self
280
00:15:23.519 --> 00:15:28.480
often forgets, that internal rightness, goodness, you know, and everything
281
00:15:28.519 --> 00:15:31.440
that is. You know, it doesn't mean that you know
282
00:15:31.480 --> 00:15:33.960
your soul isn't cheering you on in those moments that
283
00:15:34.000 --> 00:15:38.840
you're like, yes, I got this absolutely. It just also
284
00:15:39.000 --> 00:15:43.360
means that your soul isn't sobbing when you know, when
285
00:15:43.399 --> 00:15:46.279
you don't get it right the way, you know. I
286
00:15:46.440 --> 00:15:50.399
was kind of sad in the Eastern Conference Finals of nineteen.
287
00:15:50.879 --> 00:15:53.360
I feel like it would have been eighty eight. I'd
288
00:15:53.360 --> 00:15:56.919
have to google it. When we had it. We had it,
289
00:15:57.559 --> 00:16:01.000
we were about to get the Eastern Conference Finals. There's
290
00:16:01.120 --> 00:16:04.240
just seconds left and we had a three point lead
291
00:16:04.399 --> 00:16:06.879
or whatever that was, and Larry Bird stole the ball
292
00:16:07.080 --> 00:16:09.519
and that was the end of that was the end
293
00:16:09.519 --> 00:16:13.080
of that championship run for the Pistons, right, And I
294
00:16:13.080 --> 00:16:15.600
don't think a lot of people in Detroit slept that night,
295
00:16:15.720 --> 00:16:18.440
it really stunk unless you are self t expanded, and
296
00:16:18.480 --> 00:16:21.240
then that was probably one of the greatest moments in
297
00:16:21.279 --> 00:16:27.200
basketball history, right, And you know that's what your soul understands. Right,
298
00:16:27.360 --> 00:16:32.000
it's all freaking amazing. And it's only your ego that says,
299
00:16:32.240 --> 00:16:34.840
you know, it's got to be this way, and it's
300
00:16:34.919 --> 00:16:38.559
got to be me, because your higher self sees your
301
00:16:38.600 --> 00:16:42.000
and everything right, and everything is a win, and everything
302
00:16:42.080 --> 00:16:46.240
is beautiful, and so it sees the intrinsic rightness in
303
00:16:46.399 --> 00:16:49.720
all that is. So anyway, that's what I was thinking
304
00:16:49.919 --> 00:16:52.919
while watching the game, and I thought it was just
305
00:16:52.960 --> 00:16:55.960
such a beautiful metaphor of life. And of course, friends,
306
00:16:56.320 --> 00:16:58.879
on the human level, we might be disappointed when our
307
00:16:58.919 --> 00:17:02.879
team doesn't win. Okay, it might make us sad, and
308
00:17:02.960 --> 00:17:06.960
of course we may have, you know, negative experiences when
309
00:17:07.000 --> 00:17:10.160
things in our world are difficult or hard or don't
310
00:17:10.200 --> 00:17:13.960
go the way we want them to, things big and small. Obviously,
311
00:17:14.000 --> 00:17:16.759
a basketball game winner loss is not a super big
312
00:17:16.799 --> 00:17:18.920
deal to most of us in the scheme of things,
313
00:17:19.000 --> 00:17:21.920
unless you know, we're a professional basketball player and our
314
00:17:21.960 --> 00:17:26.279
livelihood is dependent upon it. And so in those moments,
315
00:17:26.319 --> 00:17:30.039
of course where you forget that it's all a game,
316
00:17:30.720 --> 00:17:33.519
and you know it's all working out, and it's all
317
00:17:33.559 --> 00:17:36.799
just beautiful, and that the greatest joy is just living
318
00:17:36.839 --> 00:17:39.359
every moment just as it is, and just you know,
319
00:17:40.079 --> 00:17:42.839
coming back to presence each moment and saying, this is
320
00:17:42.880 --> 00:17:45.319
so fun. What am I going to do next? But
321
00:17:45.400 --> 00:17:48.640
in those moments where we forget that, love yourself, hold yourself,
322
00:17:48.720 --> 00:17:55.119
soothe yourself, and then remind yourself all as well, and
323
00:17:55.279 --> 00:17:59.960
everything is always working out for me. All right. That's
324
00:18:00.160 --> 00:18:02.400
all I got on this one. I hope you enjoyed
325
00:18:02.720 --> 00:18:05.359
this as much as I did. And again, if you
326
00:18:05.480 --> 00:18:08.440
are a fan of another NBA team or you don't
327
00:18:08.920 --> 00:18:10.920
like the NBA at all, I still love you so
328
00:18:11.160 --> 00:18:14.079
very much. I'm so grateful to each and every one
329
00:18:14.119 --> 00:18:17.160
of you for tuning in and letting you do what
330
00:18:17.400 --> 00:18:21.759
I love to do. And I hope this one made
331
00:18:21.799 --> 00:18:25.000
your day just a little bit brighter. Love you all,
