thank you for tuning in to the glow up ladies podcast. I'm your girl, bebe. I'm spunky. And guess what, y'all? It's about umpteenth day. Empty our off the quarantine of covert 19. And if you are like me, I'm literally on week three of corners. You cast that Rhona attendant from that rone off. They're wrong. On that is the area I'm in day three. And I'm just grateful to be at the house so I can work because, I mean, I think for a long as my employer is just one convinced that it was a serious as is, actually as it actually is. Yeah, and which is a lot of other companies I work for, a company that jumped on it immediately. It was just like, this is a sane because, I mean, they knew what happened in China, and they had to send out a lot off stores in China because in such, so they knew when it came will be here that they needed to act fast s A lot of our companies aren't like that, and they're just like, Hey, you know, you'll be fine. Exactly. You're is not that big of a way we haven't had that many cases is like a door. Let's just keep it like that. And Cindy behind. I'm like, No, this is really ll life. Zachary and I made it happen. You're just gonna replace me the next day? You know? Exactly. And they're gonna be, like, funky Who? Right? I think I kind of remember, You know, the black girls. Yeah, yeah. Going here. Right? Exactly. Yeah. Way. I feel bad for a family right up. Well, we gotta get this foul today, you know. All right, s o. I guess we'll start off way. Have you done anything productive? Anything interesting? Anything new? Anything that you haven't had a chance to do because you work all the time or you're busy all the time. Are on the go. Yes. So, actually, editing this pockets perfect timeto learn and toe kind of navigate through the systems that we usedto edit. So instead of me just doing a surface sweep of Okay, this button goes here. I can actually really identify how these things work and have time to go back over it. So if it doesn't sound right or we're missing something, I feel confident that the final product is gonna be good, because I'm a least have a few more times ago over versus when I worked on the day Davies's That's really good and big upstate new for a taking owner show I'm pregnant. Anything for goo that was you, did you did I really started taking like budging like really serious and because they have more time to focus on it. And also not being able to eat out has saved me so much money, crazy and so like. I just if I could like going forward even when this thing's clear up prayerfully clears up, soon, I will still be able to have those same habits. So I've been actually eating Maur at the house and cooking Maura. And finally, Little Hill could No, you stay there. Rhona E. And you know, I also want to use this time to explore different opportunities that could, like turnout high being so like a side hustle like this. A good time, something like recession proof where you can do it online. I mean, it's just so many things you could do with a computer and just taking to manage that. Within these little moments that we have before everything goes because I know when I go back to work or when I go back to the office is gonna be stupid. Lying. Yeah. Emmerich is gonna be ridiculous. Generous the But what about you? How are you using your time? Well, since, um, I've had lots of time. No Thio reflects and, um, work on myself. A cz. Well, as do is some things here that I don't have a chance to do all the time. But I binge watched and I don't typically binge what clean? It was 30 shows. I will. Bitch. What have you been saying? I am not a venture. Oh, but now I have to come one. Let's see. I watch the new holo holo who, fearing news of a little fires everywhere. We'll have the check that I was a good It's good. I actually have to watch the latest episode when I get off here. So how about you look worried? Like today release on the week the week basis, like a regular TV show? They do, But sometimes they just show the whole series. It just depends on of episodes. Um, let's see here. I watch this new show called Cherish Today on Own I didn't really get a love story in the tournament Out A black couple. It's really cute. Mommy, actually put me on that one. Let's see of watched. Uh oh, dear. My time I watch Self made. Um Oh, yeah. With the black CEOs, women CEOs have the chick that No, no, you seem self made. Wait. I'll CJ Walker. Yeah, Good. Wasn't I took my another show on Netflix. That how light like black CEOs. And this Carl something. I don't know what you're talking about. My friend told me about that, but I haven't watched it yet. Let's see. What else have I What have you watched Tiger King always are. No. My manager told me to watch it. Yes, it was one time. I'm in town working. Tiger King. Yeah. Damn Looking like you've been a stupid Yeah, that's what I heard. I have to check it out. Is okay. That's another one I gotta watch. I've watched in Ozark put that unrealistic Zarkin. Superb. Using Season three, it is awesome. Once you get past like the 1st 2 episodes, it takes off, Okay? Oh, Sarkin Tiger came, but yeah, I've just been picking up random stuff. I've been watching a lot of YouTube. I watch a lot of you, too. Uh, we could start a new to another. All this. I mean, you know, right. I've been using this application that I started using for one of the YouTubers that I follow called skill share. Ah, but I've actually been using that prior to, but I chance to actually do it now. Uh, but it's called skill share. And so anything that you're looking thio one up, your skills on you can, too, And they show you different videos. I'm segment by segment to teach you how to. If you want to be a interior designer, if you want to learn how to critique your resume, if you want to learned what to say in an interview, all types like that. If you want to learn to draw, if you want any type of things that you could think of skill shares really good for that. Awesome. I've heard a lot of the big institutions like they're really great schools like Harvard and Yale. They have these online classes, and my co workers were telling about that. Check that out to me You could never get enough. Education is true. This is true. You do have to take an actual class and you do you have to take, like, tests and stuff. But, uh, e free? Yeah. Yeah. So it's not, like, you know, really stricken strenuous, But it is actual class. I don't think you're just going tits here and go. Hey, we'll get it. But actual class. So I thought that was pretty dope. That is Yahoo. So we're gonna talk about speaking of quarantine. We're just not in quarantine for no reason. You know, there is a pandemic out here. And if you didn't know already what was going on a pandemic Uh huh. And so, for all of our Children and Children's Children who listens to this show way beyond us. You know, in the year 2020 there was a pen dammit called the cove. It 19 Corona virus. I never and um, this has never happened in our lifetime. No, this has never happened in some of our parents Lifetime and has no blueprint for this s o. It's just like this is really new. And, um ah, lot of the world's is very fearful, very anxious. Don't know what to do. Um, and are very reactionary. Do so, um, what's in a name? Rear area. We were very reactive. Eso In times like this, when Penn depicts happen up, something within the economy typically happens. And that's something called a recession. I don't know if you ever heard of it. You see, I'm going to tell him the Jesus, um or you tell my like we thought it economic Tissot way. Go young TZ But that I need with today's top e is all about a recession is so crazy because, of course I was the funnest Eka major. And this is something that you've read about in a book not actually experience. So, Toby, I actually on the brink or within the mist of a recession, it's pretty extraordinary is kind of reminiscent of 2008. You know, different love. Sure, that was due to the housing bubble in regard, and now it's like a virus that's going around. But it's the same effect for sure, for sure. So, like when we say the word recession, you may be wondering where that ISS it's not a depression, but it is a great thing. This isn't, you know, the Great Depression. This is a recession that happens within the economy. So essentially, when it is in layman's terms in to break it down a simple A spy is is a decline in the economic activity, so that typically occurs whenever there's a widespread decrease in spending. Exactly so currently, right now, we're not technically in a recession. But we are leading up to one possibly fitness, like all the signs in the making. Yes, because, of course, with the whole pandemic that's going on with, you know that, Mona, you know, like this salsa destiny and people can't be out and spending. And it's crazy that is happening around the time of Texas. And this typically, would you stimulus of the economy? Exactly. About to be moment like it was refund check? Yeah, notice That's what the government keep him. That stimulus package they really want to suspend. But honestly, in this particular man, we can't go out so sure, unless you do it all last shopping. I don't really know or the grocery stores, because, of course, they're just winning right now, but I mean is gonna be interesting to see if the economy would get back churning once the stimulus start going out. I agree. Shut out to, ah, the stimulus package being passed by Congress because it is beneficial because there's a lot of people currently right now, as does occur when a recession happens that people are getting furloughed. Oh, are laid off. Um, and because of such, there's a lot of people with no jobs. Is that you know, the stimulus package helps people on specifically couples who make under $150,000 a year a swell, a single people who make under $75,000 a year. You will get a stimulus check for either $1200 or $2400. Um, but those are for these people that you know the world that needs it. Um, and it was with a $2 trillion to me is so like the similar packages helpful, and it's I'm glad that they passed it. But at the same time, if you look at it to see and notice how many companies are actually bankrupt because you don't have enough money TV, we've been out of business for what, three weeks like you don't have any reserves is crazy to think that these big corporations don't have funding to support a three week lapse. I'm saying it's like that. It's Curries. Just think about all the hours that we put into these places. And they're not even doing there not being financially responsible. Exactly Exactly. Then that's raising thing because like, how do you sit up here? And it was literally in a week's time bump. Three weeks, elites time. Oh, I gotta let all y'all go. I don't have no money for another y'all definitely. It is just like, That's great. Easier just at the big Basically, you were sinking you all away in the ring, right? And it's just taking down under E. Exactly. So can you remember when the recession happened in 07 away? Definitely. I graduate from college in 2009 so I was right in the mist of it like it was terrible. I mean, cos panicked just like we're doing right now in regards to hiring. So that were there was lack of opportunity of you are already in position in a rolled you pretty much we're good. There were some markets they were gonna talk about that are recession proof. So it really didn't affect some people graduating with sorry majors. But somebody like me who's coming out looking for finest job I mean, it was just none. There was no land boy despite the bell outs and also things people were just doing hiring freeze because they weren't sure how they were going, transition or go, so that the next step after that was over. So it was a very interesting time. Luckily, my parents are pretty financially responsible, and I was able to go home. I mean, I couldn't imagine it they had lacked or if they didn't do what they were supposed to do, and there was no hope for me to go through, you know, like it's on my college friends. They had to deal with it, and it was a harsh reality of people that you would think would be of a sustained of depression. You know, they came in with a six months of obsession is similar to what we're talking about in regards to these companies that are losing their shit After 22 days of not having, I guess profit margins is how, as they have been so I don't remember that. I mean, it was crazy to think that banks were taken advantage of the little people in regards. And that's kind of how we all got into that, Miss. And I mean the next bubble that they always we're talking about. We're student loans like no one predicted that it will be a pandemic for virus. You think about it. There have been other viruses that comes from every bulla bird flu. It's been the only time. And I mean, I'm not pointing any fingers, but it is ironic that we currently have the administration that we have. And then now we have a pen Dimick of a virus spreading. And supposedly she are the team or dismantle the team last year too prevent something like this from happening because he said that this could never care occur in, uh, on American soul. Of course, that's exactly what he found. Yes, it sounds about right. And I were in the predicament that we had a fisherman who refused to believe that this was not a hoax. Is that and the faith that you thought it was a hoax? That's stupidity on your part. Yeah, Definitely. He was extremely ignorant in this situation. It's like you always make it about you, sir. It's not about the world. I think you're being president of the United States, not cleaning up you, right? This is a list. And we have a whole segment where we talk about backs. But like, your question A CZ Beckett. 08 Like I remember it, but I don't remember it. All right, I was a hassle. Okay. Okay. No chilling way accumulating on this damn student. Long did and came final job graduating like it was. Really? I know I would literally have this conversation with them. Um uh, not too long ago. Ah, but I would say that it did affect people who ah, I would not say are in the top 10% of money's. So if you you know, we're in the top middle class upper class, you probably didn't see much of a change or people for families that were not in the top 10%. They were losing homes. Homes were foreclosed. They were losing jobs. People didn't have money to buy things. The real estate market was I like I know Boyd. No, I so I, But other than that, I don't really remember too much other than, like, what was happy on inside me. But it didn't really play effect in my own life your day today because, I mean, you said, you know, that high school, so right, still in the rest of the world is panicking. But that's crazy that you mentioned, like how the top 10% or how the upper middle class are able to sustain these times because honestly, so the stock market, Phil for the like he had his first month on the S and P 500 field, 12.5% let this week and it had his worst months. Is October sort out? So if I already have, like, boo boo money or just money just in reserves evac and spend during times of recession, I can totally win. I mean, they could make a killing because eventually the markets and then come back up like a carefully, even if it is lowest point is gonna hit up tick or upturn. And these people are winning because there could buy stock, like at a hill, 75%. Yeah, cow. I mean, you're coming and most of the people that can also have them money available. They could go by these properties. So when those foreclosures don't happen, I bought a home that was worth 100,000 for 3 50 Maybe it maybe love in my interest rate is gonna be awesome because of stop supplying the man. So the people with the money, they always went out in a situation like this. And honestly, there has been speculation that sometimes I even create these type of environments that they can replenish were like So that's what you think. Way for the question of like, Do you feel like recessions target a specific demographic? Definitely. Definitely. I think that on the advantage side of targets, the wealthy because they're himself sustained during this. And unfortunately, of course, the lower to middle class always get hit so hard. It's so there will be no wants, mostly impacted because, I mean, they especially people just live like chicks Chick. I mean, this is or was happening. Something was not. No one can foresee this three or six weeks ago like that possibly would be at the house into June like ho foresaw that competent. So just imagine someone the struggling or can barely make ends meet and have four kids. You know, I just I mean, we're all blissed, even in times where we feel like we're not bliss that always has someone in the worst position to you are sure. So I definitely this time targets the lower to middle class and those who want the most affected by this in long term. I mean, we talk about the here and now 2020 but it's still people. Hell, maybe just get back under people 2008. So right? No, I totally agree. I sad because again, like you said, people live in check to check, like there already struggling. So just think when the economy drops, how much they're going to be struggling. And if you don't play it for that or don't have a plan in the time of the recession that everything that you thought you had or everything that you were working for eight you got to start over. Yeah, and to just think of that is very scary. You think about that is it's It's almost frustrating because just like it's so much shaking it here and now. I'm back, tracked by economy that so called maybe could have been prevented. If you know you never miss the China in the trade war to begin with like everybody knows, what the fuck was Shiner like. Why would she go after them? I do. Come on, man. Like there's a lot of things that could have been prevented at this time because the Corona virus is not new. Kobe, 19 is so It's just like there's people out there that know about this. There's people have been writing that there may be a recession that was gonna occur. Maybe possibly in 2020. It's called Colbert 19 because they knew about it last year. Yeah, they did that. This got tweeted out because, of course, Trump goes on this friend about us not being prepared in regards to a team not giving him the proper information. This got tweeted out. He was like, You are a lot we gave you. It's 600 page report on this pandemic crisis. That potential was gonna take off and 2020 and you dismantle our entire group. So I mean, we all know the point. The finger. Oh, no. You know, I just try and think On the positive side of sometimes God just be like, yo, sit down, Okay? In time with your family, the prime Lastly. And I mean, we always air so on the goal, we always doing things on social media. You know, God is still in control and, well, he wants you sit down. Clearly, you're going to say, Don't world take a seat. Is that well, stop, wait. Cereal market nestling like March Madness and the eh NBA games like this stuff that produced, like, 1,000,000 like $600 million. When they shut that down, I was I Maybe I need to look into this a little bit. It's just really comes down the leadership because, like you say, this isn't something new. It's just that we're in a more reactive state versus being pro act. I mean, this clown is still talking about stuff. Son could be active back up and running by East changed. I heard the next week. What kind of business or do you know of any business they're driving? You're in this moment, I would say. Right now the big box stores which big box means like Home Depot, say, of Waldemar. Um, all those types of things they're still open now make believe you are still open. They're still working. Eso they're thriving and shout out to all them for going and doing what they do Everyday grocery stores, box stores, healthcare, health care very much, although they need more supplies. That's what one of the things in the stimulus package is providing more supplies. Thio those type of businesses, health care as well as small businesses. I will say small businesses are declining, but yet this is the time for small businesses and entrepreneurs to be creative, you know, to stay in the game, the your resilience and how you overcome this pen. Dimmick will let you know how you will be once it's over within the next 5 to 10. Franklin. If you sit up here and close your eyes and put your head down, you're not gonna survive that lists all basis, entrepreneur. But if you sit up here and say, Hey, my doors may be closed, but let me see how I can figure out no and get it out to people if I got to do online's things. If I got set up your posts on social media. If I got to say that, you know, whatever they may be a hand deliver food to How do you like blue trucks right now? You gotta fool you women. So, like, stuff like that is things said you may not be able to prepare for, but if it can happen, then you can make it happen. And that's how you can sustain your business while impending mix and recessions like this. But I will say that it is very hard for small businesses and entrepreneurs to succeed in in times like this because, of course, they have to lay off people. And their market are is it was most likely gonna be the public S o. You know, you shut down public being used. It can't be more than 10 people in all those things I mean, and people to be home, their kids now they can't just come out and go. It's a typically would be really folks don't know what to do with the Children, man. It's so fun ass on this one mean that was like, these parents going call appear and teacher conference on Go Believe them teaches Now at this finality sound with them. They go learn they are today. Well, I did just find some other business there were. There were also thriving. So you mentioned the big box. Of course. Grocery stores such as Bowman, but also surprisingly like jobs, like accountants and financial advisors are actually real. Will is the people like we were talking about earlier can afford it. They're checking in with those tubers and what we need to do this one of the big marked money market areas. So they're actually doing pretty well. And also, uh, care car repair shops. Because secretly there Yeah, people are so going to repair their car versus buying a new one. So they're doing really well. Good. Um, before we go into the uke uses segments, what is the first thing you're gonna do when we all core team every i'ma let saga Lhasa first? Have you seen that? Me? Unless you cross the first and test out the water and we all come back, you know, about 7 to 10 days. He also Good day. I'm a venture out, and I mean, just go sit on a rooftop and have a martini. Oh, all stuff that we took for granted me the link up with some friends that I haven't seen. Yeah, I'm going to see I haven't gone to see them. Really? Because I got so happened in the working environment for the past three weeks and I prayerfully don't have anything, but I just want to give us some time. Yeah, sure. Seven. The 14 days that you'd be, like, run a self quarantine, so I I would never I would feel horrible about where to give something that I require. So I'm just like I like I asked, you know, spunky game and back then don't be supposed to chaperone A You know, I got time. You know that house. So I'm excited to see my friends and like, I'm in a new city. So it's like everything is like halted. As far as my exploration know, we're all looking forward to what I was looking for. It's in the warmer weather to get out and do things. I mean, it was several events has been canceled like the They have this huge bar crawl for bar crawl for ST Patty's Day that was canceled. They had this beer festival coming up the aschen So it just sucks that I'm in a new place. I really came into it. I would rather be safe than sorry. So I'm glad they should. Everything down ex. No, let me shut everything down to because, you know, people will be out. Especially that last week they should the parks in the race because it was someone who at the park last Saturday that it was ridiculous. Like it was like Greta? Yeah. I don't know. Like this phone is for you. I don't care which our president. Yeah, that's true. That's true. I used a four. I really just wanna be able to go out C E and hang out with friends again. Like warm weather brings like, barbecue is in house parties of any time. Are you use a, you know, all that kind of stuff. So I wanna have a chance to be able to do that. And I would love to travel, but it's still kind of like e know their airplane like this property thing this plane ever been. But we still don't know who have been on and off. They're like, I love to travel because, you know, from what I hear a lot of people have kind canceled trips, You know, a lot of things with chorus or just although we canceled. So I just would love to get out and be able to do things again and function the way I usually pirate you. Right? But I do appreciate this time too. I greatly, just like he said, literally right before this happened. I say, God, I need a break. Wow. And God said, here you go. Right. We'll give you a good brush. Big mentally, you know, Finished. Really Like you Good. Yeah, but it was crazy. I was literally talking to somebody about that the other day. I was just like, Lord, you gave me what? I need it, right? Because I'm not like BP for this defendant Nicknames BB a relationship with guy. We really appreciate it So weak, Theo. The funny thing is, though, not only has this allows a self reflection, but this is allowed me to, like recon, no friendships and talk to people. And I don't get to talk to Aunt um all virtual young. They only had visited Agra, Matty, but But they need to be some rules in place when it comes to this face time and bull crap. First of all, I don't sit around the house face time ready. So I'm gonna need, like, a text man Fry. So I heard you 45 minutes. I give myself think weather. Like a kitchen like the like. Oh, I'm even is a lie. I'm saying you have declined. Except in Turner. Flipped a can of room. You have a partner? Look it, it's a male. Say I left my phone. D'oh! Really? Really, uh, I would say creative with all of his whole virtual being like, we literally did a virtual birthday party for right. And I thought I was really cool. And like people, a lot of people have been doing that. It would be really cool to connect with people that you don't know the people that you know. This is AP called Mixed Rose s a mom and daughter collaboration, and they're black. Um, were you literally can mix and mingle virtually with people you don't know. Just a conversation just like you would if you went out to a bar or something. So there's so many different things out there that allows you thio heighten your extra vert because I think we've had enough introvert going. All right. Now, uh, just literally forced me to sit down, because if you guys know me being down Oh, I've always been you, you know? So, like, this has forced me to sit down. Has forced me to say, hey relaxes. And even though my sister still be over here alive, you ain't relax you over here looking a podcast, trying to figure this stuff out and do it I mean you because I don't know. I can't be Celia. I g I think energy. Wait, Sensei in 30. No, just i'ma save Fiona. Go. You will. This is You know where you'll be. Only five becomes you. You know, if you see me sitting down too long, I'm sick. You have a big great Yes. Great. So y'all stay too will be right back with a U Q sis segment Don't wanna wear. Look at that. All right. He's so thank you guys for tuning back. Enough. This is the you cute sez segments, and we're always here to give you that extra boost of confidence and tell you that you use is you could girl. So most of time you keeps a segment is talking about fashion, but sometimes we switch it up and we just kind of make it pertaining to the topic at hand or the environment at hand. And currently, you know, we're in quarantine, but with not just any whore is seen were in Queen Corn saying, Hey, hey, get things you love. You take my nursemaid better. You know you know him So So this is what we're gonna talk about today. We're gonna talk about a daily routine for Queen Corzine. Okay? So just because you know you're off work or out of the office doesn't mean that you can't have a daily routine. I love it. So I wouldn't keep these things in mind When you're trying Thio, manage your daily schedule, Cajuns. We're gonna start off with I need youto wake up. You don't have to wake up as early as you have Thio to go to the office, but I want you to wake up at some reasonable time and then from there, I want you to wash your face, brush a little speaking mouths and then from there, I want you to make your men for all those persons who make your bed? I don't know. Maybe it It just grinds my gears if I don't make what I have to. But for people who don't throw a sheet over some more, you know, Step two pillows up. I don't know what you do. Um, but I need you to make your bed in front there. Go downstairs after you get dressed. And will you get dressed? You don't have to sit up here and put on a nice blouse and Jean's house. You want to just put us a nice lounge where you could put on some work out where, you know, whatever you're feeling. I had a crop top and some Adidas is maybe some leggings. But I just mean that said, try your jeans on every now and then because, you know, you may gain a little weight lobbying, and you know what? That Ismar I Okay, that's a good to bear. You know, I need to do that, you know, because oh, no. We've been in Queen quarantine. Doesn't mean that we have been exercising is a lot of the evening. All right, this is exercising, so we don't have to do that you know what? Every week make sure you try on your jeans. Still thinking you know everything about my neighborhood. A snuggling up. Did you see that challenge when I was doing snuggling into your jeans? Let's see how if it girl watches his own Instagram works. I forgot what it's called, but literally you have to. You put your jeans up and folks be showing the little booties and saying how like they have to squeeze today. Thio hate the challenge. Now I do like the challenge where they're like, for instance, it was a track team, and I'm sorry to cut into your sister. Okay? They had the track team, and so they were dropping a shoe, and then they were showed themselves down dressing, and they're being a track outfit and all made up. And then when they drop it to be, it's another person that somewhere else in the world, and then they'll do the same thing. They keep passing to the teammates like I'll send it to you as soon as they've been doing that with the makeup brush to witness. Yeah, yeah, CEOs fell in, and the black man one was super fuel. Where they would be down. And the name for the sense own e i e. I appreciate the creativity but powers, but that when I was just like Okay, whatever. But most of the challenges have been pretty cool. Um, I am kind over some of them, but they have been pretty playing. What? I will say that, Um, but yeah. So, like, even if you want to once out of a week, you could dress up if he wants you. You know, you can beat your face if you want to into a photo shoot. Whatever you want to do during this time of queen quarantine, you could definitely do so. So on top of that, after we got undressed, we want to make some breakfast, make you some breakfast. When should you eat, and then this. During this time, if you don't have to work, then you can meditate. You can, um, you can learn something new. So, like I said before, you can do skill. Share a single image before you can learn new language. You can, uh, basically resorts to the Ivy League free courses. You know, anything like that, you can also exercise that way into your favorite perishing right during lunchtime you get after last time. Excuse me. You can take a walk if you have a dog on this really great time to go ahead and take a walk because the dog needs some exercises. Well, um, I will also say, do some chores there. The house needs cleaning. Clean your house up and clean home. Switch out. Sure. Your clothes. So all those winter clothes and go ahead and switch him out for the spring and summer. So unless yer neck at home and don't even have your spring and summer while gospel Justin home with all this happened somewhere wonderful. Oh, this summer Oh, we're gonna be talking about the oh, a great time to switch out those outfits bring into the spring in the summertime because it's ring time is only a month. So just listen, I don't know, go hammering when you talk about my demographics. Hey, Mollie, uh, trying to do something fun, you know, watch netflix watch YouTube. Um, you know, if you got kids, hang out with the kids, you know we'll do something as a family, maybe cook together. You know, you got a husband, our wives, you know, maybe play some games. You know, all these up, Biggs. Also things that you could D'oh. Um, also dinner times, which is not trying to recipe on front of recipes and books You could find Marty Pinterest. You find my life, you could find him from your friend. Oh, Instagram. I love posting my, um, things that I cook. So if you ever want a recipe here Yup. Guests and they are amazing. I appreciate job. So I think the last day after dinner is just really just wind down and prepare for the next day. If that's taking a shower that's washing your face. If that's, you know, lighting a prayer candle. If that's, you know, being spiritually and praying. You know, whatever you gotta do to keep your get your mind right for the next day. You know, check that now, but yeah, I think these were ah would be good tips for you to survive and, um, be a great person in Queen courting. Yes, Yes, queen. And then before you go to bed, tap yourself on the shoulder and let them know you juice is a welcome back. Guys, I hope you get at some really cold tips from BB and her queen Quarantine. I didn't think this super cute name. Well, our final conversation for tonight Is that what we should do as human beings during a recession? Um, I would say during a recession or during this pen day make. The biggest thing is to save your money, save as much money as you can because you never know when you'll need it. Um, another thing that comes to mind is stock Pao cash, if you can. The more cash that you have, the better that goes into the, you know, the savings of money. Because, of course, that is something that you could easily grab and I use just in case something happens, margin stays in. Another thing would be, although there so many different people out here looking for jobs in the job market may not necessarily be as fertile right now. Um, because, of course, they don't really know where things are being kind of up in the air. Um, looking for new opportunities is so good. Oh, yeah. Still apply. I don't feel like all you know. Ain't nobody hiring right now. There's a fire. Get your name in the pool, Fischer. So don't stop that mind set. Keep on going on. And this is a good time. Especially if you either got furloughed or laid off. Um, or just been looking for a job for a while. Ah, where houses like Wal Mart and Home Depot and Amazon are really good and it appear work at you get, like, 15 to $21 an hour putting on the oh, uh, your geographical area. Um, I would, you know, look at things like uber shipped things of that nature. Small little things that you could do Well, just done it. Maybe not over, because ain't nobody going nowhere. But maybe you could do a reason, right? It's like, you know what he's going to be O uh, dig me all unique lungs. Cancel true, but all right, so you could go. D'oh! But everything that I like, the fact that you said, you know, stockpile and say this is extremely important, especially during this time of uncertainty in the market, is so volatile. I will also say, you know, I would forego the big purchases like if I was thinking about buying home spring 2020 I may push that back to the fall or just wait for the next year for everything to totally clear out and perfectly will be back to normal. I will wait for the big purchase that includes, like, a car like and listens like in the city. I wouldn't buy a new car in this morning in this. My, honestly, Where you going? Okay. Oh, right. Unless you one of the essential employees that just have to get back and forth to work. And that's the good sign, though. So that means you'd least have income going inside. It applied to use more sort of people that are at home or like for a load or laid off during this time period. I was definitely foregoing the big purchases, and I will awesome say, while we're saving and also being cautious with our money. But at the same time, if you have extras some reserved in any town was to buy the stock market, it is frightening. No. Yeah. Oh, I I'm telling you like I'm clearly like we were just talking about my brother. We're talking about this about maybe two or 33 weeks ago, and I probably should have waited a little longer because I think it's gonna drop even lower. But it is going to turn around like you have to play the long game. Of course, when you talk about stocks, not of those different things, but is gonna be will work it like a ce faras investing and go online and so much stuff on the computer. Now you don't even have to Really, What you're doing will be a guru or finance wiz there to figure out what stocks to go into. I mean, healthcare is booming. All the companies that we said are still driving through the recession. I will look there first, but I will also look at the ones that drop like to nothing across a lot typically did that. It would be definitely a good time to look into those like Apple, Netflix and with I e don't know hope of privacy. Look, they're about for injured. I mean, they probably dropped two, maybe 3 50 You know, you can buy like tooth Doctor, May it's me, all types of stuff like that. So anything that you think that's, you know, dropping right now are beneficial, like like spunky said Healthcare, pharmaceuticals, You know, stuff like that, Even by and dirt cannabis, You know, all that time itself are things that you can look into, um, buy and stock. Like putting that $500 now in the stock can mean so much or for years in the future. If you're not in a row, right, If you got it, and it just do it. I mean, even if it's not $100 right, you started, you know, like funeral. So you know, it's never the not the right time and do stocks. But this time it's the right time. You know, it's the right time. You definitely gonna appreciate yourself like a thio. Possibly two years. You'll see your timer. So I definitely every gate for that. And also to so not a lot of places like Reynold Price, like apartments. They're having a guest like there were there, knowing for the student laws were there at least give you a free month's rent or forgo this month, paying if you're like a ninja Proctor hardship. They released land you get, um, not having to pay this month. Typically, they're probably waiting for those similar chicks, so they don't give you a break, which I can appreciate because, like you said, some people were here. I mean, this came out the blue like you couldn't have plan for this s o I. Some people, like what about to spend 3000 fixing some of my car, you know, And then this is so it's not always the people that irresponsible, you know, life happens. So I wouldn't I guess, Sean or not, take advantage of the situations that can help you to get over that hump. Because eventually we are going to get back in the workplace. And I'm just speaking. All these positive eyes are they're not necessarily need We're after the same, but we're gonna go back. Exactly. That's a lesson I am. I will say that during this time we are seeing like, ah, heart in these corporate CEOs that aren't taking this out there. $50 million center. They probably get it for the pad party is we're appreciation. No, but therefore born a salary so that their import they can play the employees. I commend those activities back. I command people who have a heart, especially there on top like this. So No, I totally agree with you, Um, and to piggyback off that not only are apartments doing that, which is good to know, um uh, or all our homeowners out there, This is a really good time to refinance. If that's something that you want to do because the interest rates are like 00 it's so if that's what you want to take advantage of, you can look into that. I'm as well as if you come through hardships. You could also a defer your mortgage. Um, from anywhere from to you could do it for mirror. It's up to a year. Um, essentially, just like your loans, your student loans. If you you have them or whatever, you could do that as well. So that's something done to take advantage of. These are all things that I'm learning about a cz Well, so I just want to make sure that you guys know about him because in the in the stimulus package with the 1200 that we mentioned earlier, you can get paid up until four months Salary, um, based on I don't know if you got the apply, I have to get more details next week when we talk, I have the details of how you can get that money for people that are furloughed or laid off amount of money that your company would have paid you. The government is gonna supplement that and to a certain percentage Oh, good benefit. What ISS Dole. I mean, they should they call that you like you like you, you know, ever met Don't always do the right thing, all right, this year. But they know, though, if they don't, then we're really gonna have Ah, just it's gonna be uproar may write, Ugo, you right here. We'll be over here like I marched ports and I It's a bit of a boost. I know right physically, exactly. That's what we're gonna do. But I would always say, like at the end of all office of Just educate yourself. This is the perfect time to educate yourself on all of these things. Yeah, so, like, if you don't know about any of the things that we talked about today like, please, just educate yourself. We didn't know about all this self until we looked into it or read it to win. Told about it, you know, whatever. So take some time to, like, educate yourself on money management, This sauce. Oh, good time as spunky said earlier. Too much, huh? So I really hope that you guys got so much from all the topics that we discussed this hour. I hope that you make your queen quarantine Worth. Wow. Um, I hope that if we do hit this recession that you guys feel prepared by the tips and the conversations that we had today, Um, And for all those people that are out here working and keep in a cz afloat, we salute you were reaching into. You think he's doing what you're doing for all those people who are out here in the house and quarantine? Don't take it for granted. Uh, enjoy this time. And appreciate this time, um, spread loves your love ones don't spread their owner state in time. Um, but basically, we always in every podcast episode with a quote. And so I thought the biggest thing this time was gratitude. And so gratitude turns what we have into enough. And with that being said literally, don't take this time for granted. Um, literally be thankful for all the things that you have that you don't have that may have. They may come. Um because this is a perfect time to self reflect. This is a perfect time, Thio. I'll be with your loved ones and do things that you don't get a chance to do because I know you over here tidy and darn husband. Wife, You kids, But just bake. How many days you don't get to do this? This you So if there's nothing else, I'm a kiwi out of his seat. Next time. Bye.
thank you for tuning in to the glow up ladies podcast. Next time. Bye.
