Welcome to a new edition of the Famous Interviews with Joe Dimino series featuring Scottish-born, Denver-based entrepreneur, author and podcast host Andy Jackson. With more than 35 years spent around men in gyms, locker rooms, boardrooms, sports teams and friendships, Andy brings a lifetime of experience to one of today's important conversations: what does it really mean to be a man, a friend and a leader?
A former CEO and longtime fitness-industry veteran, Andy is co-founder of AlWellCo, a global community for fitness, wellness and performance professionals, and host of The AlWellCo Podcast. He is also the author of BroHeart: A Playbook for Men Who Want to Lead with Heart.
Rather than focusing only on what's wrong with young men, BroHeart asks a bigger question: What kind of men do we want them to become?
Blending Scottish humor, personal stories and leadership lessons, Andy is working to redefine what it means to be a “bro” — moving beyond ego and bravado toward genuine friendship, brotherhood, purpose and showing up for others. His book is part of a growing movement built around real men creating meaningful connections and supporting one another.
In this conversation, we explore modern masculinity, male friendship, leadership, men's mental and emotional lives, the importance of brotherhood, and Andy's personal journey toward building a community centered on heart and purpose.
Dig into Andy Jackson's story and discover how a different kind of brotherhood can help men become the people they want to be.
