One of the many benefits is you are able to navigate different environments en route to success, and along the way when you inevitably encounter dog whistle racism or overt racism, you will be able to maintain a sense of peace. No matter what room you walk in, whether it’s your first day of Law School or your first day as the Brand Manager for Fiat, you’re comfortable in your beautiful Black skin.
