00:00:10.119 --> 00:00:12.009
Bye. Bye.
2
00:00:31.949 --> 00:00:35.310
Welcome to the KHA Masterclass. Today on Business and Money,
3
00:00:35.380 --> 00:00:40.039
we are joined by Nathan Graham, entrepreneur, author, business educator
4
00:00:40.079 --> 00:00:43.820
with more than 16 years of experience in real estate sales,
5
00:00:44.280 --> 00:00:50.359
leadership and professional training. And as founder of Synthetic Eco,
6
00:00:51.039 --> 00:00:55.380
he develops practical AI systems and education that help businesses
7
00:00:55.560 --> 00:01:01.149
adopt new technology while preserving trust, judgment and human connection.
8
00:01:01.409 --> 00:01:04.689
And So we will understand from him how one person
9
00:01:04.750 --> 00:01:09.769
can operate like an entire company with artificial intelligence and
10
00:01:10.250 --> 00:01:10.769
much more.
11
00:01:11.109 --> 00:01:12.750
Welcome to the show, Nathan.
12
00:01:13.689 --> 00:01:15.370
Awesome, Kash. Thank you so much for having me. I'm
13
00:01:15.409 --> 00:01:16.750
excited to have this conversation.
14
00:01:17.750 --> 00:01:20.469
You are welcome. Welcome to the show, Nathan. Welcome to
15
00:01:20.530 --> 00:01:22.890
India in this online form. And I'm sure not just
16
00:01:22.950 --> 00:01:25.480
in India, but a lot of people across the globe
17
00:01:25.500 --> 00:01:28.359
will benefit from what we are going to talk right now.
18
00:01:28.840 --> 00:01:31.060
As we said, we'll talk about how one person can
19
00:01:31.140 --> 00:01:35.799
operate like an entire company with AI and much more.
20
00:01:35.840 --> 00:01:38.560
But before that, let's talk a bit about your journey,
21
00:01:38.579 --> 00:01:41.180
your background, so that the audience knows who they are
22
00:01:41.200 --> 00:01:41.719
listening to.
23
00:01:43.340 --> 00:01:45.680
Yeah, absolutely. So I got into, as you said, I've
24
00:01:45.700 --> 00:01:48.810
been a real estate broker for about 16 years. I've
25
00:01:48.829 --> 00:01:51.010
been a part of the leadership, the training, the education
26
00:01:51.030 --> 00:01:53.310
departments with all the brokerages I've been a part of.
27
00:01:53.549 --> 00:01:55.790
I had the opportunity to lead a brokerage as their
28
00:01:55.829 --> 00:01:59.799
CEO for a while. And I've always been highly drawn
29
00:01:59.859 --> 00:02:02.420
to technology and people and sales. Those are the two
30
00:02:02.480 --> 00:02:05.280
things I've just loved. And a part of my journey
31
00:02:05.299 --> 00:02:07.879
is all of a sudden this thing called artificial intelligence
32
00:02:07.920 --> 00:02:11.719
came out and it started melding everything I love together.
33
00:02:11.780 --> 00:02:15.180
And I instantly saw the massive opportunity to level the
34
00:02:15.199 --> 00:02:17.800
playing field. So one of the big issues that we
35
00:02:17.979 --> 00:02:19.919
ran into and what drove a lot of my work
36
00:02:20.099 --> 00:02:23.650
and what drives synthetic echo is in the real estate world.
37
00:02:24.409 --> 00:02:27.550
And often the individual agent can't compete against the big
1
00:00:10.119 --> 00:00:12.009
Bye. Bye.
2

is all of a sudden this thing called artificial intelligence
32
00:02:07.920 --> 00:02:11.719
came out and it started melding everything I love together.
33
00:02:11.780 --> 00:02:15.180
And I instantly saw the massive opportunity to level the
34
00:02:15.199 --> 00:02:17.800
playing field. So one of the big issues that we
35
00:02:17.979 --> 00:02:19.919
ran into and what drove a lot of my work
36
00:02:20.099 --> 00:02:23.650
and what drives synthetic echo is in the real estate world.
37
00:02:24.409 --> 00:02:27.550
And often the individual agent can't compete against the big
38
00:02:27.590 --> 00:02:29.530
boy because we don't have big budgets. We don't have
39
00:02:29.590 --> 00:02:33.090
big marketing departments. We don't have a hiring ISAs and
40
00:02:33.110 --> 00:02:36.710
all the rest. And AI leveled that entire playing field,
41
00:02:36.750 --> 00:02:39.310
which ended up being beautiful. So that's what my company
42
00:02:39.349 --> 00:02:42.969
now does is I audit companies for artificial intelligence to
43
00:02:43.009 --> 00:02:44.870
see where they're at, where we can save money, where
44
00:02:44.909 --> 00:02:48.250
we can level the playing field against their competitors. And
45
00:02:48.289 --> 00:02:50.770
then on top of that, I help them build programs
46
00:02:50.810 --> 00:02:52.889
to automate and run what their day looks like, whether
47
00:02:52.930 --> 00:02:55.270
that be chatbots, whether that be agents, whether that be
48
00:02:55.330 --> 00:02:57.129
organizing their financials, whatever it is.
49
00:02:58.990 --> 00:03:00.759
Absolutely, Nathan, absolutely.
50
00:03:00.800 --> 00:03:03.280
Thank you for that. Now, let's come to the topic
51
00:03:03.360 --> 00:03:07.060
itself and try and understand. A lot of, you know,
52
00:03:07.199 --> 00:03:10.280
if someone says, Nathan, you are saying you can, one
53
00:03:10.319 --> 00:03:13.909
person can operate like a company with AI, right? A
54
00:03:13.990 --> 00:03:17.030
lot of big companies with lots of AI into their
55
00:03:17.069 --> 00:03:21.139
systems are still struggling to make sense of AI and
56
00:03:21.319 --> 00:03:27.479
use it and still are starved in that sense. How
57
00:03:27.520 --> 00:03:30.080
does it work? If they cannot succeed, how do you
58
00:03:30.120 --> 00:03:33.240
expect me to succeed with AI and work or think
59
00:03:33.280 --> 00:03:37.159
like a company in that? Isn't that too ambitious for me?
60
00:03:38.139 --> 00:03:42.000
Yeah, absolutely not. I love ambition, first of all. So
61
00:03:42.580 --> 00:03:44.960
the simple matter is a lot of these big companies
62
00:03:45.000 --> 00:03:47.659
already have a base that they operate off of, and
63
00:03:47.860 --> 00:03:50.159
it's gonna take a giant overhaul for them to really
64
00:03:50.219 --> 00:03:55.219
introduce AI into it. What AI does is it allows
65
00:03:55.300 --> 00:03:59.330
people who master their craft to be, what would be
66
00:03:59.349 --> 00:04:02.370
the right word? It allows people who master their craft
67
00:04:02.490 --> 00:04:05.909
to really own and dominate a market. So I'll give
68
00:04:05.949 --> 00:04:09.199
you an example. There's certain things as an individual, as
69
00:04:09.240 --> 00:04:11.340
a small business owner, I cannot get rid of. I
70
00:04:11.400 --> 00:04:13.860
can't get rid of these conversations. I can literally create
71
00:04:13.919 --> 00:04:16.339
an AI bot, Cash, to have this conversation, but it
72
00:04:16.360 --> 00:04:19.800
wouldn't be nearly as fun or have the life behind it, right?
73
00:04:21.120 --> 00:04:23.279
But here's what I can do. While I'm having this conversation,
74
00:04:23.339 -->
00:04:25.939
I literally have AI coding one program. I have it
75
00:04:25.980 --> 00:04:29.410
responding to my Instagram messages. I have it evaluating guests
76
00:04:29.470 --> 00:04:32.670
for my own podcast. And this is all in giving
77
00:04:32.689 --> 00:04:34.949
me reports around it. So when I'm done this podcast,
78
00:04:34.990 --> 00:04:38.139
what it allows me to do is review the work
79
00:04:38.279 --> 00:04:41.600
it's done. And then I get to do what I
80
00:04:41.639 --> 00:04:44.089
do best, what I master best and reach out and
81
00:04:44.149 --> 00:04:47.910
have the conversations or have the sales call or put
82
00:04:47.949 --> 00:04:50.610
together the data. And so no, I don't believe it's
83
00:04:50.649 --> 00:04:53.500
too ambitious at all. Because the thing that about small
84
00:04:53.579 --> 00:04:58.279
business owners is We thrive off mastery. We're doing this
85
00:04:58.319 --> 00:05:01.120
because we master it. When you compete against a big company,
86
00:05:01.339 --> 00:05:03.879
I guarantee you their CEOs are not mastering whatever their
87
00:05:03.920 --> 00:05:06.160
product is. They're just trying to make a whole lot
88
00:05:06.199 --> 00:05:09.069
of money for their investors. And that's the reason why
89
00:05:09.149 --> 00:05:11.449
we get to have a huge jump on the market.
90
00:05:11.589 --> 00:05:12.230
Does that make sense?
91
00:05:13.329 --> 00:05:17.769
Absolutely. Absolutely, Nathan. You have explained it quite well.
92
00:05:18.170 --> 00:05:21.189
Now, let's look at it from this point so that
93
00:05:21.250 --> 00:05:25.000
my audience can understand it better from an expert like you.
94
00:05:26.189 --> 00:05:31.189
When people think about integrating AI and a lot of
95
00:05:31.250 --> 00:05:35.279
small businesses and solopreneurs and all those who operate like
96
00:05:35.319 --> 00:05:38.759
a business and who are not so much, you know,
97
00:05:38.839 --> 00:05:43.980
technology savvy, they may use it, you know, generative AI
98
00:05:44.019 --> 00:05:47.319
for small things and all. But when they nowadays look
99
00:05:47.379 --> 00:05:51.170
at AI from a business perspective, they just listen about
100
00:05:51.610 --> 00:05:55.689
agentic AI and so many other sort of words that are,
101
00:05:55.730 --> 00:05:57.540
you know, getting generated each day.
102
00:05:58.100 --> 00:05:59.069
And that scares them.
103
00:05:59.949 --> 00:06:05.379
How should then they evaluate this part of AI that
104
00:06:05.420 --> 00:06:09.759
can actually help them operate like a company without being
105
00:06:09.839 --> 00:06:14.300
fearful about it and without getting intimidated by the big words,
106
00:06:14.379 --> 00:06:18.480
tough words used, or even at the prospect of learning
107
00:06:18.540 --> 00:06:21.399
so many things in terms of artificial intelligence.
108
00:06:22.899 --> 00:06:26.879
So, What a fantastic question. The beautiful thing about artificial
109
00:06:26.939 --> 00:06:30.769
intelligence is you don't need to know technology to use it.
110
00:06:30.819 --> 00:06:33.170
You just need to know how to speak. So I
111
00:06:33.199 --> 00:06:35.399
have a really great example of this. I was at
112
00:06:35.439 --> 00:06:38.750
a top 1% dinner of CEOs and the guy who
113
00:06:38.769 --> 00:06:41.829
was our speaker was a landscaper. I'm telling you, this
114
00:06:41.889 --> 00:06:44.949
landscaper was as blue collar as you could think of it.
115
00:06:44.970 --> 00:06:47.110
He was exactly what you would see out of a landscaper.
116
00:06:47.389 --> 00:06:49.730
He did not speak well. He used crude language. I
117
00:06:49.829 --> 00:06:53.490
love the guy. Meanwhile, on 8 p.m. one night on
118
00:06:53.529 --> 00:06:56.189
a Sunday before his busy season, his admin quit on him.
119
00:06:56.360 --> 00:06:58.660
And he is not techie, by the way. His admin
120
00:06:58.759 --> 00:07:01.319
quit on him. And now they were stuck going into
121
00:07:01.339 --> 00:07:03.879
their busy season. And he had a pretty successful landscaping
122
00:07:03.939 --> 00:07:06.990
small business. So he called his phone company and his
123
00:07:07.019 --> 00:07:10.529
phone company was able to instead of transferring the phone
124
00:07:10.610 --> 00:07:13.670
service over to them, they set up an AI bot
125
00:07:13.769 --> 00:07:16.339
to be able to handle all the phone calls. And
126
00:07:16.379 --> 00:07:19.600
then they went into another program, and it did. It
127
00:07:19.639 --> 00:07:22.420
took a little bit of learning. You cannot shy away
128
00:07:22.459 --> 00:07:23.740
from that. It is a new little bit of a
129
00:07:23.759 --> 00:07:26.100
learning curve. But this guy is not a tech guy, Cash.
130
00:07:26.139 --> 00:07:29.740
He is a landscaper. That's what he does. And he
131
00:07:29.759 --> 00:07:33.920
went in to learn about AI agents. And within one evening,
132
00:07:34.019 --> 00:07:37.040
he set up autoresponders because you can talk to it
133
00:07:37.100 --> 00:07:40.680
in plain language. I don't need to know technology mumbo-jumbo
134
00:07:40.699 --> 00:07:43.000
to get to it. I can go to a program
135
00:07:43.040 --> 00:07:46.449
and say, I want you to build this for me. right?
136
00:07:46.470 --> 00:07:48.129
This is what I want it to do. And AI
137
00:07:48.189 --> 00:07:50.949
figures it out. Or another great example is I needed
138
00:07:51.050 --> 00:07:54.100
AI to organize my database. And I just went in
139
00:07:54.129 --> 00:07:56.759
and I said, I call my AI sushi. I don't
140
00:07:56.779 --> 00:07:59.139
know why I just liked the name, but I said, sushi,
141
00:07:59.180 --> 00:08:01.639
this is my database. I don't understand why I'm not
142
00:08:01.720 --> 00:08:04.360
getting more business out of it. Tell me why and
143
00:08:04.560 --> 00:08:07.120
fix it. That's all I said to it. And it did,
144
00:08:07.180 --> 00:08:10.230
by the way, it went through and organized. So you
145
00:08:10.259 --> 00:08:14.180
can use the learning curve is really just getting over
146
00:08:14.220 --> 00:08:17.310
your fear of opening that door to understand something, do
147
00:08:17.350 --> 00:08:20.970
a little bit of reading and, and learn to communicate
148
00:08:21.269 --> 00:08:23.810
in normal language. But once you're at that point, cash,
149
00:08:23.910 --> 00:08:26.029
it is just, it's normal language that you use. You
150
00:08:26.050 --> 00:08:29.290
just say, dude, I want my podcast to blow up.
151
00:08:29.750 --> 00:08:31.939
How do I do it? And then AI is what
152
00:08:31.959 --> 00:08:33.100
will implement that for you.
153
00:08:35.480 --> 00:08:37.120
Absolutely. Absolutely.
154
00:08:37.340 --> 00:08:41.340
So how do you actually get started on the ground?
155
00:08:41.480 --> 00:08:44.600
Either it be a, small business owner in your part
156
00:08:44.659 --> 00:08:47.200
of the world or in my part of the world
157
00:08:47.679 --> 00:08:50.179
or in any other part of the world who may
158
00:08:50.220 --> 00:08:54.269
listen to this particular show whenever they can?
159
00:08:55.750 --> 00:08:57.629
So I would definitely just start with a little bit
160
00:08:57.669 --> 00:09:02.230
of basic research, understand the companies that are out there.
161
00:09:02.269 --> 00:09:04.200
So for example, and I'm not here just to fully
162
00:09:04.220 --> 00:09:06.559
tell my book, but it's a free download from my website.
163
00:09:06.580 --> 00:09:09.559
You could download it for free. It'll tell you the
164
00:09:09.659 --> 00:09:13.179
types of programs that you're looking for and workflows that
165
00:09:13.220 --> 00:09:19.029
you're working for within my book. So for example, one
166
00:09:19.169 --> 00:09:23.110
agent I use is called Hermes. It's very easy to
167
00:09:23.169 --> 00:09:26.269
set up. It's very cheap to use. And I text
168
00:09:26.330 --> 00:09:29.029
it and I just tell Hermes, this is what I
169
00:09:29.100 --> 00:09:30.679
want to do. This is what I want to create.
170
00:09:31.259 --> 00:09:33.639
So as a small business owner that's looking to get
171
00:09:33.679 --> 00:09:35.480
into it, the first thing that I would do is
172
00:09:35.519 --> 00:09:38.570
just figure out And you can do this in chat GPT,
173
00:09:38.590 --> 00:09:40.470
by the way, cash or in cloud or whatever you
174
00:09:40.629 --> 00:09:44.250
use or Gemini, just go into it and say, Hey,
175
00:09:44.840 --> 00:09:48.159
I'm looking, I need to set up an auto responder.
176
00:09:48.279 --> 00:09:51.179
I'm losing clients because I sleep, which is a very
177
00:09:51.240 --> 00:09:54.279
normal thing. So I want to have somebody who responds
178
00:09:54.340 --> 00:09:58.259
to my clients overnight and basically does a soft close,
179
00:09:58.320 --> 00:10:01.200
let them know I'm listening to them. And chat GPT
180
00:10:01.240 --> 00:10:04.259
will give you the whole breakdown for it and the
181
00:10:04.379 --> 00:10:07.000
whole plan of what you need to do. It can suggest,
182
00:10:07.120 --> 00:10:09.120
and you just tell it, I'm not techie. What are
183
00:10:09.159 --> 00:10:11.850
some easy to use programs? And we'll share with you
184
00:10:11.950 --> 00:10:14.750
a bunch of programs that go down to it. So
185
00:10:14.789 --> 00:10:17.789
I guess the two points where I start is, To
186
00:10:17.830 --> 00:10:19.649
answer your question is number one, just do a little
187
00:10:19.669 --> 00:10:22.389
bit of research, read easygoing books on it, learn how
188
00:10:22.450 --> 00:10:24.889
flows work. Don't even care about the whole prompting thing
189
00:10:24.929 --> 00:10:26.889
and blah, blah, blah. Just learn how flows work and
190
00:10:26.929 --> 00:10:30.659
everything else. And then number two, treat whatever AI you're
191
00:10:30.840 --> 00:10:33.840
using as an assistant or as an expert in that
192
00:10:33.960 --> 00:10:37.200
field and just ask it the blunt questions. And you
193
00:10:37.220 --> 00:10:39.980
can do that via either typing it in or something
194
00:10:40.159 --> 00:10:42.379
I love doing now is as I'm driving to appointments,
195
00:10:42.480 --> 00:10:44.539
I actually turn on the voice and I talk back
196
00:10:44.600 --> 00:10:48.720
and forth with Claude to create business plans and workflows
197
00:10:48.740 --> 00:10:50.519
and everything. And that way I have it set for
198
00:10:50.539 --> 00:10:51.940
when I get home to be able to see it.
199
00:10:53.779 --> 00:10:55.519
Does that make sense? Is that an easy enough start?
200
00:10:55.580 --> 00:10:57.940
Yes, yes, yes, yes, Nathan, indeed.
201
00:10:59.399 --> 00:11:05.690
Now, in terms of expectations, you know, an individual business owner,
202
00:11:05.769 --> 00:11:09.610
single person operation, when the business owner listens to that
203
00:11:09.710 --> 00:11:13.259
I can operate like a company, it sounds very grandiose.
204
00:11:13.379 --> 00:11:16.649
It makes you feel good. And you want to feel
205
00:11:17.009 --> 00:11:20.110
perhaps in your operation also. I don't know whether that
206
00:11:20.190 --> 00:11:24.129
is practically possible or not. So in terms of expectations,
207
00:11:24.809 --> 00:11:27.710
when you tell that you can operate like a company
208
00:11:28.409 --> 00:11:33.220
as a single individual business owner, how should I look
209
00:11:33.299 --> 00:11:37.120
at it from that perspective? How much should I spread
210
00:11:37.200 --> 00:11:42.059
myself in terms of my expectations from, you know, like
211
00:11:42.159 --> 00:11:43.659
operating like a company itself?
212
00:11:45.460 --> 00:11:48.639
So I have a fun game that I play and
213
00:11:48.659 --> 00:11:52.019
to see I'm, I'm looking for AI finally cannot do
214
00:11:52.080 --> 00:11:53.899
what I'm telling it to do. And that's the reason
215
00:11:53.919 --> 00:11:56.960
why I've created so many cool things. And I still
216
00:11:57.000 --> 00:11:59.759
haven't hit that limit cash. Let me tell you, I
217
00:11:59.820 --> 00:12:04.279
created software for, um, a small real estate brokerage. The, the,
218
00:12:04.460 --> 00:12:07.779
the numbers are in compliance. As an example, compliance are
219
00:12:07.799 --> 00:12:10.120
the people who review the paperwork to make sure it's
220
00:12:10.159 --> 00:12:13.139
all proper and to make sure that it fits the legalities.
221
00:12:15.070 --> 00:12:20.139
In a normal brokerage, it's about one compliance officer who
222
00:12:20.200 --> 00:12:25.299
is really good to every 250, maybe 300 agents if
223
00:12:25.360 --> 00:12:28.799
they're fantastic. Once a brokerage goes over 300 agents, then
224
00:12:28.820 --> 00:12:31.370
they have to get another compliance officer. And this is
225
00:12:31.409 --> 00:12:35.129
the same rough ratios with broker of records and everything else.
226
00:12:35.149 --> 00:12:37.610
So if you run a real estate brokerage, that's what
227
00:12:37.629 --> 00:12:40.899
the numbers look like. I created and designed a program
228
00:12:41.220 --> 00:12:46.870
that automates all the compliance and automates 90% of broker questions.
229
00:12:46.990 --> 00:12:50.490
And that increased the efficiency from one to every 300
230
00:12:50.490 --> 00:12:55.509
to now the test run is one compliance to every
231
00:12:55.509 --> 00:12:57.230
1200 agents. And I think we're actually going to go
232
00:12:57.269 --> 00:12:59.929
higher than that, but that's where we're safely testing it
233
00:12:59.980 --> 00:13:01.240
right now. Because at the end of the day, you
234
00:13:01.279 --> 00:13:03.879
still need a human to look over that last part
235
00:13:03.899 --> 00:13:07.919
of what's going on. But that is a four-time increase
236
00:13:08.100 --> 00:13:11.769
in work. I met another gentleman who was selling a
237
00:13:11.850 --> 00:13:15.009
thousand homes a year in a place called Calgary, Alberta
238
00:13:15.070 --> 00:13:20.190
in Canada, which is an absolutely crazy amount of homes.
239
00:13:20.289 --> 00:13:22.580
As a real estate agent, again, and that's just the
240
00:13:22.629 --> 00:13:24.559
first starting field. So this is where my good examples
241
00:13:24.620 --> 00:13:29.720
come from. When we're dealing with online internet leads, if
242
00:13:29.779 --> 00:13:34.250
we're doing our proper follow-ups, we can handle about 150 leads. Now,
243
00:13:34.330 --> 00:13:36.789
a proper follow-up is a call every single day for
244
00:13:36.789 --> 00:13:39.590
10 days, a text and an email to any potential
245
00:13:39.629 --> 00:13:41.690
clients until they answer and you can close them. That's
246
00:13:41.750 --> 00:13:46.980
how we weed through them. So at about 150 online leads,
247
00:13:47.019 --> 00:13:51.320
that's where we start to get stuck. With one agent,
248
00:13:51.700 --> 00:13:55.990
one texting agent, I have now increased that to over 2,000
249
00:13:55.990 --> 00:13:59.159
leads that I can handle and operate. That'll now sift
250
00:13:59.179 --> 00:14:01.320
through at roughly the same numbers that I was doing
251
00:14:01.399 --> 00:14:04.580
as a person. This guy going back to selling 1,000 homes,
252
00:14:05.120 --> 00:14:08.980
he now deals with roughly 50,000 leads a month because
253
00:14:09.039 --> 00:14:12.350
what he did when one AI agent got overwhelmed, he
254
00:14:12.429 --> 00:14:16.950
created a second AI agent to stop it from being overwhelmed.
255
00:14:17.519 --> 00:14:20.899
And now I personally have a force of AI agents.
256
00:14:20.919 --> 00:14:23.220
I literally have one AI agent that manages all my
257
00:14:23.240 --> 00:14:28.450
other AI agents. So what it does is what's a
258
00:14:28.490 --> 00:14:32.769
realistic expectation? Cash, I'm telling you, we are living in
259
00:14:32.809 --> 00:14:35.529
a time right now that allows the small person to
260
00:14:35.590 --> 00:14:39.029
bring down big companies. Some of my programs that I'm creating,
261
00:14:39.230 --> 00:14:42.919
I am not targeting small local competitors. I'm targeting national
262
00:14:42.980 --> 00:14:46.909
competitors because the, the, I'll give you an example. I've
263
00:14:46.929 --> 00:14:50.590
dealt with website companies and lead generation companies within a brokerage.
264
00:14:51.429 --> 00:14:54.169
And because of the way their coding is, because they
265
00:14:54.230 --> 00:14:57.450
coded 20 years ago to build their programs, they can't
266
00:14:57.590 --> 00:15:00.720
adapt to a new way of vibe coding that I can.
267
00:15:00.740 --> 00:15:05.639
So every change takes the months. Meanwhile, I create massive
268
00:15:05.700 --> 00:15:08.940
programs within a week. And I am not joking. That
269
00:15:09.000 --> 00:15:12.700
compliance thing I was telling you about, which was very ironically, apparently,
270
00:15:12.720 --> 00:15:17.059
a very hard nut to crack. I programmed an entire
271
00:15:17.139 --> 00:15:23.370
compliance CRM website and backend within 10 business days. The
272
00:15:23.389 --> 00:15:26.529
whole thing, top to bottom, getting ready for beta. That
273
00:15:26.629 --> 00:15:30.480
used to take literally years to create. So what is
274
00:15:30.519 --> 00:15:34.960
a realistic expectation? I haven't hit it yet. Cash, I'm
275
00:15:34.980 --> 00:15:37.820
telling you, I try to push the limits because I
276
00:15:37.860 --> 00:15:39.740
want to know what that answer is. And I'm telling you,
277
00:15:39.919 --> 00:15:42.629
I have not hit it yet. Because the really cool
278
00:15:42.669 --> 00:15:45.220
thing is when I get successful, as I'm getting successful
279
00:15:45.259 --> 00:15:49.840
to a certain point, now instead of hiring a group
280
00:15:49.899 --> 00:15:51.799
of people, I'll give you an example. I have a
281
00:15:51.840 --> 00:15:55.039
help desk now for Synthetic Echo. That's entirely AI run.
282
00:15:55.539 --> 00:15:57.679
My next hire isn't to hire a whole bunch of people.
283
00:15:57.700 --> 00:16:00.980
It's to be to hire one person who is extremely talented,
284
00:16:01.019 --> 00:16:04.120
who understands AI, who I can now pay more because
285
00:16:04.159 --> 00:16:06.970
they're talented and I don't have other wages going out.
286
00:16:07.710 --> 00:16:09.850
And it's going to be their job to babysit the machines.
287
00:16:10.149 --> 00:16:14.250
So as I expand and grow, one person helps my
288
00:16:14.360 --> 00:16:20.220
global help desk. That is crazy for a small business owner.
289
00:16:21.279 --> 00:16:24.240
So I wish I could tell you what that limit is,
290
00:16:24.299 --> 00:16:27.320
but I haven't found it yet. And when I find it,
291
00:16:27.350 --> 00:16:28.509
I'll come back on and I'll tell you.
292
00:16:30.169 --> 00:16:33.289
This is a lot of insight into how this whole
293
00:16:33.330 --> 00:16:36.669
thing is growing up and people can set their own
294
00:16:37.220 --> 00:16:41.269
expectations and what better than this but let's look at
295
00:16:41.330 --> 00:16:44.830
it from the human centric side of it small businesses
296
00:16:44.950 --> 00:16:47.730
are generally known to be you know very close to
297
00:16:47.769 --> 00:16:51.529
their customers and they want to keep it that way
298
00:16:51.769 --> 00:16:55.860
their customers want to keep that relationship that way how
299
00:16:55.919 --> 00:17:02.000
do you bring in ai and still be human centric
300
00:17:02.379 --> 00:17:06.720
humane in your connection with your client what to automate
301
00:17:07.150 --> 00:17:08.450
What not to automate?
302
00:17:09.390 --> 00:17:12.480
Yeah, absolutely. So first and foremost, something I want to
303
00:17:12.500 --> 00:17:15.640
get out of the way, the really cool thing about
304
00:17:15.660 --> 00:17:18.680
AI is it allows you to automate all the stuff
305
00:17:18.700 --> 00:17:20.970
that bogs us down. So again, back in my real
306
00:17:21.009 --> 00:17:25.490
estate career, inputting leads, catching up the notes, sending out
307
00:17:25.529 --> 00:17:28.710
my thank you cards, blah, blah, blah, all this, sending
308
00:17:28.730 --> 00:17:31.700
all my social media posts, all this would bog me
309
00:17:31.759 --> 00:17:36.130
down throughout the day. The good news about AI, first
310
00:17:36.150 --> 00:17:38.349
of all, it's going to allow the automation of all
311
00:17:38.390 --> 00:17:41.029
that thing, of all of that. So now what's going
312
00:17:41.049 --> 00:17:43.950
to happen to the small and medium sized business owner
313
00:17:44.329 --> 00:17:46.710
is it's going to rely on your talent, whether you
314
00:17:46.750 --> 00:17:48.910
do well or not. It's going to rely on your mastery.
315
00:17:48.930 --> 00:17:51.650
So going back to my real estate example, now instead
316
00:17:51.670 --> 00:17:54.210
of being who is the best looking person on a
317
00:17:54.519 --> 00:17:57.480
bus shelter, all of that's taken care of via AI
318
00:17:57.519 --> 00:17:59.480
for my advertisement. Now it's going to be is how
319
00:17:59.579 --> 00:18:01.880
good is my listing appointment? How good is my scripts?
320
00:18:01.940 --> 00:18:04.750
How good is my negotiation skills? How good is my
321
00:18:04.809 --> 00:18:07.990
customer service, my follow-up, and everything else? So the great
322
00:18:08.089 --> 00:18:10.650
news is it's going to allow small people to compete
323
00:18:10.690 --> 00:18:14.369
against big people based off of mastery and talent. Now,
324
00:18:14.410 --> 00:18:17.839
here's the bad news with that, Okaj. It's also going
325
00:18:17.859 --> 00:18:20.980
to allow people to compete off mastery and talent. What
326
00:18:21.000 --> 00:18:23.460
I mean by that is if you do not master
327
00:18:23.500 --> 00:18:27.240
your craft, if you do not master the human element
328
00:18:27.440 --> 00:18:30.339
of your business, you are going to be left behind.
329
00:18:30.819 --> 00:18:32.839
And it's either going to help your business excel or
330
00:18:32.880 --> 00:18:35.559
it's going to leave you behind by not being a
331
00:18:35.720 --> 00:18:40.089
master of whatever you do. So to answer your question
332
00:18:40.119 --> 00:18:43.250
about what to automate is you automate the stuff that
333
00:18:43.329 --> 00:18:46.369
can be automated that bogs down your day. I obviously
334
00:18:46.470 --> 00:18:50.869
enjoy sleep. I'm not going to be responding at 2 a.m.
335
00:18:50.930 --> 00:18:53.549
Yet I do have worldwide clients and I do have
336
00:18:53.609 --> 00:18:55.670
clients that sometimes message me at 2 a.m. And I
337
00:18:55.710 --> 00:18:58.970
want to let them know that my company is listening
338
00:18:59.009 --> 00:19:02.490
to them. And so I have automated responders. They admit
339
00:19:02.549 --> 00:19:04.859
they're AI because I'm an AI company. I don't want
340
00:19:04.880 --> 00:19:06.579
to hide the fact that they're AI. But I have
341
00:19:06.740 --> 00:19:11.400
automated responders that have casual conversations with my clientele and
342
00:19:11.539 --> 00:19:14.319
capture what their needs are so that first thing in
343
00:19:14.339 --> 00:19:19.000
the morning I can call them. I automate my emails
344
00:19:19.059 --> 00:19:22.769
going out. My AI knows my voice. I got so
345
00:19:22.829 --> 00:19:25.569
bogged down in emails, Cash, that it would take literally
346
00:19:25.609 --> 00:19:29.019
my entire morning sometimes It now knows my voice. It
347
00:19:29.079 --> 00:19:32.220
creates all my emails for review. And then I quickly
348
00:19:32.240 --> 00:19:35.059
do a review and I send them all out. These
349
00:19:35.119 --> 00:19:39.380
are things I can automate. Here's what I cannot automate, though. Cash,
350
00:19:39.480 --> 00:19:42.450
I have the technology to automate me again in this
351
00:19:42.529 --> 00:19:44.990
podcast if I wanted to bring it on. I don't
352
00:19:45.150 --> 00:19:47.099
need to be here. I can have AI do it.
353
00:19:47.650 --> 00:19:49.609
But we're going to miss the human connection. There's a
354
00:19:49.630 --> 00:19:52.099
way humans... beings connect with each other and connect with
355
00:19:52.160 --> 00:19:55.519
the world. And it's something that AI cannot do. So
356
00:19:55.660 --> 00:20:00.319
by actually physically having me here allows me to express
357
00:20:00.400 --> 00:20:03.980
my passion to you, express my thoughts around it. AI
358
00:20:04.059 --> 00:20:09.799
cannot create. AI can only recreate. if that makes sense.
359
00:20:09.880 --> 00:20:13.140
So human beings create. That's one of the really cool
360
00:20:13.259 --> 00:20:18.329
things about being human. Yes, I can automate my, I'm
361
00:20:18.349 --> 00:20:21.049
dealing with a cleaner right now who we're automating her company.
362
00:20:21.130 --> 00:20:23.190
We can automate the follow-ups. We can let her know
363
00:20:23.210 --> 00:20:24.869
we're going to be there in 10 minutes. We can
364
00:20:24.910 --> 00:20:29.650
let her know the follow-up surveys afterwards to see how
365
00:20:29.670 --> 00:20:31.529
they're doing. We can let them know that we care.
366
00:20:31.569 --> 00:20:34.500
But what we cannot automate is that initial phone call,
367
00:20:34.559 --> 00:20:39.319
that discovery call, that sales presentation. We cannot automate that
368
00:20:39.380 --> 00:20:43.019
part because that takes your human mastery. That allows you
369
00:20:43.039 --> 00:20:45.319
to think on your feet because even though you have
370
00:20:45.380 --> 00:20:48.279
something like a cleaning business, every house is going to
371
00:20:48.319 --> 00:20:51.220
be a little bit different. So what I want to
372
00:20:51.259 --> 00:20:54.059
encourage people is we automate the things that bog us
373
00:20:54.119 --> 00:20:59.240
down in a day-to-day environment, in our meetings and whatever, blah, blah, blah.
374
00:20:59.819 --> 00:21:02.920
do not automate your craft though. Do not automate that
375
00:21:03.089 --> 00:21:05.890
intake call. Do not automate that sales call. Do not
376
00:21:06.089 --> 00:21:09.190
automate the customer relations when they actually need that hands-on
377
00:21:09.750 --> 00:21:12.690
human beings connect, whether you want to call it your soul,
378
00:21:12.769 --> 00:21:14.990
your consciousness, your energy. I do not care what you
379
00:21:15.039 --> 00:21:17.859
want to call it. Human beings have this thing that
380
00:21:17.900 --> 00:21:20.420
connects us to other people and the entire world. If
381
00:21:20.440 --> 00:21:23.799
you're a musician, yes, it can automate or a writer.
382
00:21:23.859 --> 00:21:26.539
I'm a writer. Um, it can automate a lot of
383
00:21:26.579 --> 00:21:29.859
that workflow, but the ideas, the essence still has to
384
00:21:30.000 --> 00:21:33.940
come through me. I am still guiding the AI. I
385
00:21:34.000 --> 00:21:36.119
cannot get that part out of it. So when you
386
00:21:36.180 --> 00:21:39.750
read my books, AI has definitely helped me construct the book.
387
00:21:40.410 --> 00:21:44.170
Yet it is my voice, my idea. I make sure
388
00:21:44.210 --> 00:21:48.430
it understands my concepts before I release it out to
389
00:21:48.450 --> 00:21:53.000
the world. You cannot automate the human soul and anything
390
00:21:53.039 --> 00:21:55.859
that takes mastery, cannot be automated.
391
00:21:57.740 --> 00:21:59.420
Absolutely, absolutely, Nathan.
392
00:21:59.789 --> 00:22:03.569
One last question that I have for you from my
393
00:22:03.630 --> 00:22:08.029
audience is that in terms of businesses, almost every business
394
00:22:08.569 --> 00:22:11.650
wants to have a process through which it can de-risk.
395
00:22:12.650 --> 00:22:16.509
And when you are bringing in AI, AI agents.
396
00:22:16.589 --> 00:22:21.279
AI automation, and whatever it is, a lot of that
397
00:22:21.380 --> 00:22:25.019
will depend on the future, how things are going.
398
00:22:25.079 --> 00:22:27.970
There can be a crash. There can be a problem
399
00:22:28.029 --> 00:22:30.150
at any point. Or maybe the.
400
00:22:30.089 --> 00:22:33.869
Country you are having your business in may have an issue,
401
00:22:33.930 --> 00:22:37.750
political issue with the country where the AI is coming from.
402
00:22:37.910 --> 00:22:40.250
You know, like it has happened recently.
403
00:22:40.579 --> 00:22:44.180
Anything can happen suddenly from the owner of the business
404
00:22:44.500 --> 00:22:47.000
of what it looks like to be an operator of
405
00:22:47.039 --> 00:22:49.940
a big company. Suddenly you would, you know, one day
406
00:22:49.980 --> 00:22:53.650
without all these things, you would be finding yourself in
407
00:22:53.670 --> 00:22:57.809
no man's land. How do you prepare for that scenario?
408
00:22:58.130 --> 00:23:00.470
De-risk your business, which is so close to you.
409
00:23:01.529 --> 00:23:05.460
That is a great question, actually. I don't get to
410
00:23:05.480 --> 00:23:07.319
talk about that very often. So there's a few ways.
411
00:23:07.359 --> 00:23:09.460
So first of all, we have to remember every company
412
00:23:10.059 --> 00:23:10.579
goes through this.
413
00:23:10.619 --> 00:23:11.160
I don't know.
414
00:23:11.240 --> 00:23:13.329
I think it was a worldwide outage. It definitely happened
415
00:23:13.349 --> 00:23:16.460
here in North America when Cloudflare went down. And all
416
00:23:16.539 --> 00:23:18.740
of a sudden, half our cell phones stopped working, half
417
00:23:18.759 --> 00:23:21.220
the websites will. So first of all, there's no business
418
00:23:21.289 --> 00:23:25.130
that's immune to this. That's the first thing we have
419
00:23:25.150 --> 00:23:28.930
to remember. Now, because AI is a quote unquote new technology,
420
00:23:28.970 --> 00:23:32.990
let's call it. There's a little bit more fear in
421
00:23:33.029 --> 00:23:35.569
that because we don't have a 20 year track history
422
00:23:35.650 --> 00:23:37.470
to look at it. So there's just a few things
423
00:23:37.490 --> 00:23:40.579
I'm going to recommend. Number one. And AI will do
424
00:23:40.619 --> 00:23:42.759
this for you, by the way, is I have AI
425
00:23:42.920 --> 00:23:46.500
track every time I build systems in basically like a map.
426
00:23:47.000 --> 00:23:49.299
And so the first thing I do is I know
427
00:23:49.460 --> 00:23:52.769
if one part goes down or if one part something happens,
428
00:23:53.289 --> 00:23:56.029
I can see on the map what went down and
429
00:23:56.109 --> 00:23:57.930
where I need to go ahead and fix it. And
430
00:23:58.470 --> 00:24:01.200
AI will take care of it. The second thing is
431
00:24:01.220 --> 00:24:04.240
I use a variety of AI programs. Now, to a
432
00:24:04.420 --> 00:24:06.700
very small startup company, you're probably going to start with
433
00:24:06.839 --> 00:24:09.299
one because you are looking at your budget and expenses
434
00:24:09.440 --> 00:24:12.299
as you should. But as you grow, I use multiple types.
435
00:24:12.319 --> 00:24:15.160
So if ChatGPT ever goes down, which it hasn't, but
436
00:24:15.220 --> 00:24:17.569
if it ever does, then I have Claude. And if
437
00:24:17.630 --> 00:24:19.549
Claude ever goes down, I have Gemini. And if Gemini
438
00:24:19.609 --> 00:24:22.910
ever goes down, I have Grok. And if Grok ever
439
00:24:22.970 --> 00:24:26.109
goes down, I'm now learning the Chinese ones. I do
440
00:24:26.130 --> 00:24:27.849
not know much about them yet, but I'm now actually
441
00:24:27.910 --> 00:24:30.890
beginning to dabble into them. And actually, I think I use,
442
00:24:30.910 --> 00:24:34.730
I think, is Alibaba? I think they're Indian based, aren't they, Alibaba?
443
00:24:35.900 --> 00:24:36.460
DeepSeek.
444
00:24:37.339 --> 00:24:40.160
DeepSeek, yeah. So I'm beginning to use, well, yeah. So
445
00:24:40.180 --> 00:24:42.519
I'm beginning to use all these different ones as the backup.
446
00:24:42.579 --> 00:24:46.000
And so essentially, when I create a program, I'm actually
447
00:24:46.200 --> 00:24:48.660
personally not feeding it with just one AI. I actually
448
00:24:48.720 --> 00:24:51.349
create two or three backups with AI into that. So
449
00:24:51.410 --> 00:24:54.980
if one goes down, it automatically converts over to another one.
450
00:24:55.640 --> 00:24:57.799
And this is the other really cool part to AI
451
00:24:57.940 --> 00:25:00.099
is we get to now control these systems. So for
452
00:25:00.119 --> 00:25:02.420
the longest time, what I had to do cash is
453
00:25:02.460 --> 00:25:04.480
I had to go hire another company to take care
454
00:25:04.500 --> 00:25:06.039
of this and just hope to God, they were really
455
00:25:06.079 --> 00:25:08.880
good at their job. Now I operate all these on
456
00:25:08.900 --> 00:25:13.089
my computers. My computers are essentially mini servers. And then
457
00:25:13.240 --> 00:25:16.569
as I go to expand, I do other server hubs, um,
458
00:25:16.589 --> 00:25:18.950
to be able to expand my business, but reliable ones
459
00:25:18.990 --> 00:25:20.569
to make sure like cloud flare that that was a
460
00:25:20.609 --> 00:25:23.809
glitch of how it went down. It'll almost never happen. Right.
461
00:25:24.119 --> 00:25:25.740
But if it does happen, it's not just me, it's
462
00:25:25.759 --> 00:25:27.079
the rest of the world. So people are a little
463
00:25:27.099 --> 00:25:30.480
bit more understanding, right? So there are ways to protect
464
00:25:30.519 --> 00:25:34.400
yourself in that sort of background environment. And just by extension,
465
00:25:34.440 --> 00:25:35.799
I know it wasn't really part of the question, but
466
00:25:35.819 --> 00:25:39.039
by extension, there's also able to protect your data. One
467
00:25:39.059 --> 00:25:41.019
of the people that I've partnered with in my company,
468
00:25:41.039 --> 00:25:44.740
because I'm what's called a vibe coder, I code through AI.
469
00:25:45.549 --> 00:25:48.309
Yet I do believe that traditional coding is needed, needed, needed, added, needed.
470
00:25:49.619 --> 00:25:51.819
So I actually partnered with a gentleman who is a
471
00:25:51.859 --> 00:25:55.160
traditional coder and he works on things like he right
472
00:25:55.180 --> 00:25:57.519
now he's working for NASA on drone protection, which is
473
00:25:57.539 --> 00:26:01.119
a really cool job and creating software to protect their
474
00:26:01.160 --> 00:26:03.299
rockets from drone attacks if it ever happens, because that's
475
00:26:03.339 --> 00:26:07.019
the new wave of warfare. He created a double encrypted
476
00:26:07.079 --> 00:26:09.839
blockchain and the invention of blockchain is going to massively
477
00:26:09.900 --> 00:26:13.279
change our world, which completely helps you to protect and
478
00:26:13.319 --> 00:26:15.730
encrypt your data and That even as we enter a
479
00:26:15.769 --> 00:26:18.569
world into quantum computing, we are still going to be protected.
480
00:26:18.609 --> 00:26:21.039
And as we enter into a world of AI, it's
481
00:26:21.079 --> 00:26:25.319
still going to protect our data from hacks, from corruption,
482
00:26:25.359 --> 00:26:29.920
from viruses, allow us to reset everything. So definitely what
483
00:26:29.940 --> 00:26:32.039
I would say, I guess the easier way of answering
484
00:26:32.079 --> 00:26:35.349
your question, especially for small business, is A, Have AI
485
00:26:35.430 --> 00:26:38.609
track your workflows so you always have a quote unquote
486
00:26:38.730 --> 00:26:41.309
roadmap to it. So at any point, if you need
487
00:26:41.329 --> 00:26:43.829
to switch AI companies or if you need to pass
488
00:26:43.869 --> 00:26:46.289
it off, you have the roadmap you can automatically put
489
00:26:46.329 --> 00:26:49.730
into it. The second part is don't. Yes, you can
490
00:26:49.849 --> 00:26:52.269
use one AI mainly. That is what I do. I
491
00:26:52.390 --> 00:26:54.390
use Claude mainly as an example. I'm not here to
492
00:26:54.430 --> 00:26:56.490
tell Claude. It just works really well for what I do.
493
00:26:57.140 --> 00:27:00.859
Yet I still have connections to all the other AIs,
494
00:27:00.960 --> 00:27:04.259
to Gemini and Google and to all the other AIs
495
00:27:04.339 --> 00:27:07.019
coming into the system. So in case something ever happens
496
00:27:07.059 --> 00:27:09.519
to Claude, like for example, when Fable got taken down,
497
00:27:10.240 --> 00:27:14.200
that's a perfect example. And thirdly, make sure that you're
498
00:27:14.240 --> 00:27:17.460
dealing with someone AI who understands the security and tech. Now,
499
00:27:17.619 --> 00:27:19.670
in all honesty, it's not my strong suit, but I
500
00:27:19.690 --> 00:27:22.720
have an AI partner. who is very strong in AI
501
00:27:22.799 --> 00:27:25.440
tech and compliance. And so she comes in on every
502
00:27:25.500 --> 00:27:28.420
major deal that we do to make sure we review it.
503
00:27:28.880 --> 00:27:31.109
And that way we make sure your data is protected.
504
00:27:31.130 --> 00:27:33.470
That way we have things like the double blockchain that
505
00:27:33.529 --> 00:27:36.349
we've helped bigger companies set up for that need protected
506
00:27:36.410 --> 00:27:39.589
data and need protected storage. So those are kind of
507
00:27:39.609 --> 00:27:42.769
the three points of protection. And they're all simple, by
508
00:27:42.789 --> 00:27:44.049
the way, I know I used a lot of big
509
00:27:44.089 --> 00:27:46.980
words there for people who may not understand tech. Trust me,
510
00:27:47.119 --> 00:27:50.250
this is all crazy simple to set up. Like Option
511
00:27:50.309 --> 00:27:52.450
A and option B. Option A is one command into
512
00:27:52.470 --> 00:27:56.230
your AI. Hey, Sushi, start tracking all my workflows in
513
00:27:56.259 --> 00:27:58.259
case something goes down. And it just says, got it, boss.
514
00:27:58.359 --> 00:27:59.920
And then I get a report once a week of
515
00:27:59.960 --> 00:28:03.359
what happens. The blockchain is one setup and then it's saved.
516
00:28:03.700 --> 00:28:06.779
The AI or the compliance and security, she comes in,
517
00:28:06.819 --> 00:28:09.259
she just evaluates the systems and then we're good. We
518
00:28:09.279 --> 00:28:10.910
just make sure there's no holes or gaps in it.
519
00:28:11.079 --> 00:28:12.319
It's very, very simple.
520
00:28:14.119 --> 00:28:15.559
Absolutely. Absolutely.
521
00:28:16.140 --> 00:28:19.369
One more thing that comes along with this question itself
522
00:28:19.509 --> 00:28:24.359
is that A lot of businesses, small businesses, not only
523
00:28:24.519 --> 00:28:30.119
are very, you know, they are confident about, you know,
524
00:28:30.480 --> 00:28:33.480
and about the data privacy part, as long as the
525
00:28:33.500 --> 00:28:35.799
data is with them, their customers' data.
526
00:28:36.200 --> 00:28:39.240
They also promise their customers.
527
00:28:38.720 --> 00:28:41.559
That their data is safe with them, that they are
528
00:28:41.599 --> 00:28:44.119
not going to sell, and they don't, indeed, never going
529
00:28:44.160 --> 00:28:48.829
to sell. Also, a lot of places have that data
530
00:28:48.869 --> 00:28:55.680
localization system. When you are integrating AI into your small business.
531
00:28:56.640 --> 00:29:02.140
Do you think you are still, you know, following the
532
00:29:02.200 --> 00:29:06.720
guidelines of either of your rules and regulations or whatever
533
00:29:06.759 --> 00:29:10.740
you are promising to your clients about their data in
534
00:29:10.779 --> 00:29:12.500
your terms and everything?
535
00:29:13.079 --> 00:29:15.339
Or is it that when you are putting that thing
536
00:29:15.940 --> 00:29:20.299
into AI or getting AI into your systems, in a way,
537
00:29:20.680 --> 00:29:24.240
you are firstly sending out the data onto another country
538
00:29:24.839 --> 00:29:29.289
and also perhaps violating the policy that you have enumerated
539
00:29:29.400 --> 00:29:34.609
on your own systems and How should businesses understand that
540
00:29:34.990 --> 00:29:39.069
even though you are opening any sort of AI system.
541
00:29:38.950 --> 00:29:42.369
In your own country, in your own laptop, within your systems?
542
00:29:44.130 --> 00:29:47.059
So I think first and foremost, AI is actually really
543
00:29:47.099 --> 00:29:49.700
good at not allowing codes. Sometimes I'll put in a
544
00:29:49.779 --> 00:29:52.420
key into my chat in AI, which only resides on
545
00:29:52.440 --> 00:29:55.819
my computer, really. Having said that, it blocks a lot
546
00:29:55.859 --> 00:29:57.789
of it out, even in the scripting, but then I
547
00:29:57.829 --> 00:30:00.670
have to rotate my keys out so AI doesn't remember them.
548
00:30:00.710 --> 00:30:03.170
So there's a little bit of compliance that you as
549
00:30:03.210 --> 00:30:05.910
a company or as a company owner want to learn
550
00:30:06.089 --> 00:30:09.690
some good, what would be the right term? Some good deeds.
551
00:30:09.750 --> 00:30:10.109
I don't know.
552
00:30:10.170 --> 00:30:12.430
Good deeds is the wrong term, but like some good
553
00:30:12.529 --> 00:30:14.450
things just to learn to make sure you don't accidentally
554
00:30:14.509 --> 00:30:16.329
compromise something like that. But then we go into a
555
00:30:16.369 --> 00:30:18.710
two part system. If you're a smaller company, you're probably
556
00:30:18.730 --> 00:30:20.500
not going to be able to afford your own security
557
00:30:20.519 --> 00:30:22.640
and you're probably going to be leveraging it out. So
558
00:30:22.720 --> 00:30:25.859
right now, I actually leverage a lot of my client
559
00:30:25.900 --> 00:30:29.490
and data security out to reputable companies that, whether it
560
00:30:29.509 --> 00:30:32.549
be Google, like I integrate a lot of Google's backend
561
00:30:32.569 --> 00:30:35.029
because I don't need to build it. Google already has
562
00:30:35.109 --> 00:30:38.710
a secure platforms that major companies around the world are already.
563
00:30:38.490 --> 00:30:39.329
Using, right?
564
00:30:39.930 --> 00:30:42.599
So I would A, recommend if you're on a smaller company,
565
00:30:42.710 --> 00:30:45.420
you can leverage something like Google to store your keys,
566
00:30:45.460 --> 00:30:47.519
your codes and everything else. There's a few others I use,
567
00:30:47.700 --> 00:30:52.309
Vercel and Supabase and Cloudflare. I know I'm getting technical jargon,
568
00:30:52.329 --> 00:30:54.210
but that's just for the person who loves vibe coding
569
00:30:54.230 --> 00:30:56.779
to go check it out. And make sure you run
570
00:30:56.799 --> 00:30:59.200
it through your AI assistant and just say, hey, I
571
00:30:59.220 --> 00:31:01.819
need to have a conversation around this. So, A, you
572
00:31:01.859 --> 00:31:05.660
can utilize third party companies very, very cheaply to be
573
00:31:05.720 --> 00:31:08.079
able to do it. And then as you grow and expand,
574
00:31:08.960 --> 00:31:11.599
I don't know where it is in India with blockchain.
575
00:31:11.980 --> 00:31:16.210
I know it's being extremely slowly introduced in North America.
576
00:31:16.809 --> 00:31:20.869
But blockchain is going to be the massive future of
577
00:31:21.269 --> 00:31:25.009
safety and protocol, so much so that we've invested a
578
00:31:25.069 --> 00:31:27.869
lot of time, money, and energy into creating those systems.
579
00:31:27.890 --> 00:31:31.190
So when you have a hub that stores offline servers,
580
00:31:32.299 --> 00:31:35.039
and it is, I'm trying to think of the best
581
00:31:35.119 --> 00:31:37.599
way to say it. It's connected to other hubs for
582
00:31:37.660 --> 00:31:41.420
data background and for data protection and security, but nobody
583
00:31:41.440 --> 00:31:43.680
can encrypt or read your data what's in it. It
584
00:31:43.720 --> 00:31:48.819
just has backend verifications. Blockchain is going to, I truly believe,
585
00:31:48.839 --> 00:31:52.880
will be the future of all data security because it
586
00:31:53.539 --> 00:31:58.029
is the next best thing, the closest to impossible to hack,
587
00:31:59.069 --> 00:32:01.750
even with things like quantum computing on the rise and
588
00:32:01.869 --> 00:32:07.039
everything else. So as we start to shift into a
589
00:32:07.119 --> 00:32:10.119
company getting big enough to store their own data, that's
590
00:32:10.160 --> 00:32:13.220
when we're going to start to look at solutions like blockchain,
591
00:32:13.420 --> 00:32:17.220
like to basically store backups offline. And that way, if
592
00:32:17.240 --> 00:32:19.380
there ever is a breach or if there ever is
593
00:32:19.440 --> 00:32:22.319
a virus, you're able to save it right away. But
594
00:32:22.380 --> 00:32:25.339
all your data is massively encrypted in a system that
595
00:32:25.420 --> 00:32:29.359
only you know. So part A is leverage third party
596
00:32:29.420 --> 00:32:32.220
companies that are reputable, big and good to store your
597
00:32:32.240 --> 00:32:35.759
data because Google, if they get hacked, man, your company
598
00:32:35.779 --> 00:32:37.039
is not going to be the problem, man. They're going
599
00:32:37.059 --> 00:32:40.369
to have a lot bigger issues than that. So I
600
00:32:40.410 --> 00:32:43.730
would leverage things like confident companies like Google, Superflare or
601
00:32:43.750 --> 00:32:48.269
a super based Cloudflare, Vercel, all the rest. And as
602
00:32:48.329 --> 00:32:51.150
you grow from a small to medium sized business into
603
00:32:51.190 --> 00:32:53.809
a large business, that's when I'd look at investing in
604
00:32:53.849 --> 00:32:56.369
your own into a blockchain company and having your own
605
00:32:56.470 --> 00:33:00.160
servers and networks put up. That's a secure closed system
606
00:33:00.660 --> 00:33:01.299
for protection.
607
00:33:03.430 --> 00:33:04.890
Absolutely. Absolutely.
608
00:33:04.910 --> 00:33:07.579
Nathan, there is so much to learn about all this
609
00:33:07.619 --> 00:33:10.019
from you. And I'm sure a lot of people, a
610
00:33:10.079 --> 00:33:12.680
lot of business owners would want to connect with you,
611
00:33:13.240 --> 00:33:16.460
learn all about this and perhaps also be your client.
612
00:33:16.539 --> 00:33:18.240
What's the best way for them to do so?
613
00:33:19.119 --> 00:33:22.539
My website that you see synthetic echo.com. Um, go to
614
00:33:22.579 --> 00:33:24.980
that website, connect with me on social media, connect with
615
00:33:25.000 --> 00:33:27.799
me on LinkedIn, Instagram. Uh, it still has a lot
616
00:33:27.839 --> 00:33:31.569
of my direct forms, my direct emails. Um, Actually, I
617
00:33:31.569 --> 00:33:33.279
think I have to still add my 1-800 number on there.
618
00:33:33.299 --> 00:33:34.759
So thanks for reminding me about that, Cash. But that
619
00:33:34.779 --> 00:33:38.039
way you can call in and my AI administrator will
620
00:33:38.059 --> 00:33:40.640
set you up with a call with me if we
621
00:33:40.660 --> 00:33:43.400
want to connect that way. But if you check out SyntheticEcho.com,
622
00:33:43.420 --> 00:33:45.359
you are going to know everything about my entire life,
623
00:33:45.440 --> 00:33:48.609
my businesses, my programs, my apps, my podcasts that I'm on.
624
00:33:48.650 --> 00:33:50.190
This one I'm going to put on there when we're done.
625
00:33:50.589 --> 00:33:54.950
This has been absolutely great. Thank you, Cash, for this. Yeah, SyntheticEcho.com,
626
00:33:55.230 --> 00:33:55.930
best place to reach me.
627
00:33:57.890 --> 00:33:58.930
Absolutely. Wonderful.
628
00:33:59.359 --> 00:34:02.259
With this, it's a wrap on this very special edition
629
00:34:02.720 --> 00:34:04.240
of the KJ Masterclass Live.
630
00:34:04.599 --> 00:34:06.599
Thank you so much indeed for joining us.
I literally have AI coding one program. I have it
75
00:04:25.980 --> 00:04:29.410
responding to my Instagram messages. I have it evaluating guests
76
00:04:29.470 --> 00:04:32.670
for my own podcast. And this is all in giving
77
00:04:32.689 --> 00:04:34.949
me reports around it. So when I'm done this podcast,
78
00:04:34.990 --> 00:04:38.139
what it allows me to do is review the work
79
00:04:38.279 --> 00:04:41.600
it's done. And then I get to do what I
80
00:04:41.639 --> 00:04:44.089
do best, what I master best and reach out and
81
00:04:44.149 --> 00:04:47.910
have the conversations or have the sales call or put
82
00:04:47.949 --> 00:04:50.610
together the data. And so no, I don't believe it's
83
00:04:50.649 --> 00:04:53.500
too ambitious at all. Because the thing that about small
84
00:04:53.579 --> 00:04:58.279
business owners is We thrive off mastery. We're doing this
85
00:04:58.319 --> 00:05:01.120
because we master it. When you compete against a big company,
86
00:05:01.339 --> 00:05:03.879
I guarantee you their CEOs are not mastering whatever their
87
00:05:03.920 --> 00:05:06.160
product is. They're just trying to make a whole lot
88
00:05:06.199 --> 00:05:09.069
of money for their investors. And that's the reason why
89
00:05:09.149 --> 00:05:11.449
we get to have a huge jump on the market.
90
00:05:11.589 --> 00:05:12.230
Does that make sense?
91
00:05:13.329 --> 00:05:17.769
Absolutely. Absolutely, Nathan. You have explained it quite well.
92
00:05:18.170 --> 00:05:21.189
Now, let's look at it from this point so that
93
00:05:21.250 --> 00:05:25.000
my audience can understand it better from an expert like you.
94
00:05:26.189 --> 00:05:31.189
When people think about integrating AI and a lot of
95
00:05:31.250 --> 00:05:35.279
small businesses and solopreneurs and all those who operate like
96
00:05:35.319 --> 00:05:38.759
a business and who are not so much, you know,
97
00:05:38.839 --> 00:05:43.980
technology savvy, they may use it, you know, generative AI
98
00:05:44.019 --> 00:05:47.319
for small things and all. But when they nowadays look
99
00:05:47.379 --> 00:05:51.170
at AI from a business perspective, they just listen about
100
00:05:51.610 --> 00:05:55.689
agentic AI and so many other sort of words that are,
101
00:05:55.730 --> 00:05:57.540
you know, getting generated each day.
102
00:05:58.100 --> 00:05:59.069
And that scares them.
103
00:05:59.949 --> 00:06:05.379
How should then they evaluate this part of AI that
104
00:06:05.420 --> 00:06:09.759
can actually help them operate like a company without being
105
00:06:09.839 --> 00:06:14.300
fearful about it and without getting intimidated by the big words,
106
00:06:14.379 --> 00:06:18.480
tough words used, or even at the prospect of learning
107
00:06:18.540 --> 00:06:21.399
so many things in terms of artificial intelligence.
108
00:06:22.899 --> 00:06:26.879
So, What a fantastic question. The beautiful thing about artificial
109
00:06:26.939 --> 00:06:30.769
intelligence is you don't need to know technology to use it.
110
00:06:30.819 --> 00:06:33.170
You just need to know how to speak. So I
111
00:06:33.199 --> 00:06:35.399
have a really great example of this. I was at
112
00:06:35.439 --> 00:06:38.750
a top 1% dinner of CEOs and the guy who
113
00:06:38.769 --> 00:06:41.829
was our speaker was a landscaper. I'm telling you, this
114
00:06:41.889 --> 00:06:44.949
landscaper was as blue collar as you could think of it.
115
00:06:44.970 --> 00:06:47.110
He was exactly what you would see out of a landscaper.
116
00:06:47.389 --> 00:06:49.730
He did not speak well. He used crude language. I
117
00:06:49.829 --> 00:06:53.490
love the guy. Meanwhile, on 8 p.m. one night on
118
00:06:53.529 --> 00:06:56.189
a Sunday before his busy season, his admin quit on him.
119
00:06:56.360 --> 00:06:58.660
And he is not techie, by the way. His admin
120
00:06:58.759 --> 00:07:01.319
quit on him. And now they were stuck going into
121
00:07:01.339 --> 00:07:03.879
their busy season. And he had a pretty successful landscaping
122
00:07:03.939 --> 00:07:06.990
small business. So he called his phone company and his
123
00:07:07.019 --> 00:07:10.529
phone company was able to instead of transferring the phone
124
00:07:10.610 --> 00:07:13.670
service over to them, they set up an AI bot
125
00:07:13.769 --> 00:07:16.339
to be able to handle all the phone calls. And
126
00:07:16.379 --> 00:07:19.600
then they went into another program, and it did. It
127
00:07:19.639 --> 00:07:22.420
took a little bit of learning. You cannot shy away
128
00:07:22.459 --> 00:07:23.740
from that. It is a new little bit of a
129
00:07:23.759 --> 00:07:26.100
learning curve. But this guy is not a tech guy, Cash.
130
00:07:26.139 --> 00:07:29.740
He is a landscaper. That's what he does. And he
131
00:07:29.759 --> 00:07:33.920
went in to learn about AI agents. And within one evening,
132
00:07:34.019 --> 00:07:37.040
he set up autoresponders because you can talk to it
133
00:07:37.100 --> 00:07:40.680
in plain language. I don't need to know technology mumbo-jumbo
134
00:07:40.699 --> 00:07:43.000
to get to it. I can go to a program
135
00:07:43.040 --> 00:07:46.449
and say, I want you to build this for me. right?
136
00:07:46.470 --> 00:07:48.129
This is what I want it to do. And AI
137
00:07:48.189 --> 00:07:50.949
figures it out. Or another great example is I needed
138
00:07:51.050 --> 00:07:54.100
AI to organize my database. And I just went in
139
00:07:54.129 --> 00:07:56.759
and I said, I call my AI sushi. I don't
140
00:07:56.779 --> 00:07:59.139
know why I just liked the name, but I said, sushi,
141
00:07:59.180 --> 00:08:01.639
this is my database. I don't understand why I'm not
142
00:08:01.720 --> 00:08:04.360
getting more business out of it. Tell me why and
143
00:08:04.560 --> 00:08:07.120
fix it. That's all I said to it. And it did,
144
00:08:07.180 --> 00:08:10.230
by the way, it went through and organized. So you
145
00:08:10.259 --> 00:08:14.180
can use the learning curve is really just getting over
146
00:08:14.220 --> 00:08:17.310
your fear of opening that door to understand something, do
147
00:08:17.350 --> 00:08:20.970
a little bit of reading and, and learn to communicate
148
00:08:21.269 --> 00:08:23.810
in normal language. But once you're at that point, cash,
149
00:08:23.910 --> 00:08:26.029
it is just, it's normal language that you use. You
150
00:08:26.050 --> 00:08:29.290
just say, dude, I want my podcast to blow up.
151
00:08:29.750 --> 00:08:31.939
How do I do it? And then AI is what
152
00:08:31.959 --> 00:08:33.100
will implement that for you.
153
00:08:35.480 --> 00:08:37.120
Absolutely. Absolutely.
154
00:08:37.340 --> 00:08:41.340
So how do you actually get started on the ground?
155
00:08:41.480 --> 00:08:44.600
Either it be a, small business owner in your part
156
00:08:44.659 --> 00:08:47.200
of the world or in my part of the world
157
00:08:47.679 --> 00:08:50.179
or in any other part of the world who may
158
00:08:50.220 --> 00:08:54.269
listen to this particular show whenever they can?
159
00:08:55.750 --> 00:08:57.629
So I would definitely just start with a little bit
160
00:08:57.669 --> 00:09:02.230
of basic research, understand the companies that are out there.
161
00:09:02.269 --> 00:09:04.200
So for example, and I'm not here just to fully
162
00:09:04.220 --> 00:09:06.559
tell my book, but it's a free download from my website.
163
00:09:06.580 --> 00:09:09.559
You could download it for free. It'll tell you the
164
00:09:09.659 --> 00:09:13.179
types of programs that you're looking for and workflows that
165
00:09:13.220 --> 00:09:19.029
you're working for within my book. So for example, one
166
00:09:19.169 --> 00:09:23.110
agent I use is called Hermes. It's very easy to
167
00:09:23.169 --> 00:09:26.269
set up. It's very cheap to use. And I text
168
00:09:26.330 --> 00:09:29.029
it and I just tell Hermes, this is what I
169
00:09:29.100 --> 00:09:30.679
want to do. This is what I want to create.
170
00:09:31.259 --> 00:09:33.639
So as a small business owner that's looking to get
171
00:09:33.679 --> 00:09:35.480
into it, the first thing that I would do is
172
00:09:35.519 --> 00:09:38.570
just figure out And you can do this in chat GPT,
173
00:09:38.590 --> 00:09:40.470
by the way, cash or in cloud or whatever you
174
00:09:40.629 --> 00:09:44.250
use or Gemini, just go into it and say, Hey,
175
00:09:44.840 --> 00:09:48.159
I'm looking, I need to set up an auto responder.
176
00:09:48.279 --> 00:09:51.179
I'm losing clients because I sleep, which is a very
177
00:09:51.240 --> 00:09:54.279
normal thing. So I want to have somebody who responds
178
00:09:54.340 --> 00:09:58.259
to my clients overnight and basically does a soft close,
179
00:09:58.320 --> 00:10:01.200
let them know I'm listening to them. And chat GPT
180
00:10:01.240 --> 00:10:04.259
will give you the whole breakdown for it and the
181
00:10:04.379 --> 00:10:07.000
whole plan of what you need to do. It can suggest,
182
00:10:07.120 --> 00:10:09.120
and you just tell it, I'm not techie. What are
183
00:10:09.159 --> 00:10:11.850
some easy to use programs? And we'll share with you
184
00:10:11.950 --> 00:10:14.750
a bunch of programs that go down to it. So
185
00:10:14.789 --> 00:10:17.789
I guess the two points where I start is, To
186
00:10:17.830 --> 00:10:19.649
answer your question is number one, just do a little
187
00:10:19.669 --> 00:10:22.389
bit of research, read easygoing books on it, learn how
188
00:10:22.450 --> 00:10:24.889
flows work. Don't even care about the whole prompting thing
189
00:10:24.929 --> 00:10:26.889
and blah, blah, blah. Just learn how flows work and
190
00:10:26.929 --> 00:10:30.659
everything else. And then number two, treat whatever AI you're
191
00:10:30.840 --> 00:10:33.840
using as an assistant or as an expert in that
192
00:10:33.960 --> 00:10:37.200
field and just ask it the blunt questions. And you
193
00:10:37.220 --> 00:10:39.980
can do that via either typing it in or something
194
00:10:40.159 --> 00:10:42.379
I love doing now is as I'm driving to appointments,
195
00:10:42.480 --> 00:10:44.539
I actually turn on the voice and I talk back
196
00:10:44.600 --> 00:10:48.720
and forth with Claude to create business plans and workflows
197
00:10:48.740 --> 00:10:50.519
and everything. And that way I have it set for
198
00:10:50.539 --> 00:10:51.940
when I get home to be able to see it.
199
00:10:53.779 --> 00:10:55.519
Does that make sense? Is that an easy enough start?
200
00:10:55.580 --> 00:10:57.940
Yes, yes, yes, yes, Nathan, indeed.
201
00:10:59.399 --> 00:11:05.690
Now, in terms of expectations, you know, an individual business owner,
202
00:11:05.769 --> 00:11:09.610
single person operation, when the business owner listens to that
203
00:11:09.710 --> 00:11:13.259
I can operate like a company, it sounds very grandiose.
204
00:11:13.379 --> 00:11:16.649
It makes you feel good. And you want to feel
205
00:11:17.009 --> 00:11:20.110
perhaps in your operation also. I don't know whether that
206
00:11:20.190 --> 00:11:24.129
is practically possible or not. So in terms of expectations,
207
00:11:24.809 --> 00:11:27.710
when you tell that you can operate like a company
208
00:11:28.409 --> 00:11:33.220
as a single individual business owner, how should I look
209
00:11:33.299 --> 00:11:37.120
at it from that perspective? How much should I spread
210
00:11:37.200 --> 00:11:42.059
myself in terms of my expectations from, you know, like
211
00:11:42.159 --> 00:11:43.659
operating like a company itself?
212
00:11:45.460 --> 00:11:48.639
So I have a fun game that I play and
213
00:11:48.659 --> 00:11:52.019
to see I'm, I'm looking for AI finally cannot do
214
00:11:52.080 --> 00:11:53.899
what I'm telling it to do. And that's the reason
215
00:11:53.919 --> 00:11:56.960
why I've created so many cool things. And I still
216
00:11:57.000 --> 00:11:59.759
haven't hit that limit cash. Let me tell you, I
217
00:11:59.820 --> 00:12:04.279
created software for, um, a small real estate brokerage. The, the,
218
00:12:04.460 --> 00:12:07.779
the numbers are in compliance. As an example, compliance are
219
00:12:07.799 --> 00:12:10.120
the people who review the paperwork to make sure it's
220
00:12:10.159 --> 00:12:13.139
all proper and to make sure that it fits the legalities.
221
00:12:15.070 --> 00:12:20.139
In a normal brokerage, it's about one compliance officer who
222
00:12:20.200 --> 00:12:25.299
is really good to every 250, maybe 300 agents if
223
00:12:25.360 --> 00:12:28.799
they're fantastic. Once a brokerage goes over 300 agents, then
224
00:12:28.820 --> 00:12:31.370
they have to get another compliance officer. And this is
225
00:12:31.409 --> 00:12:35.129
the same rough ratios with broker of records and everything else.
226
00:12:35.149 --> 00:12:37.610
So if you run a real estate brokerage, that's what
227
00:12:37.629 --> 00:12:40.899
the numbers look like. I created and designed a program
228
00:12:41.220 --> 00:12:46.870
that automates all the compliance and automates 90% of broker questions.
229
00:12:46.990 --> 00:12:50.490
And that increased the efficiency from one to every 300
230
00:12:50.490 --> 00:12:55.509
to now the test run is one compliance to every
231
00:12:55.509 --> 00:12:57.230
1200 agents. And I think we're actually going to go
232
00:12:57.269 --> 00:12:59.929
higher than that, but that's where we're safely testing it
233
00:12:59.980 --> 00:13:01.240
right now. Because at the end of the day, you
234
00:13:01.279 --> 00:13:03.879
still need a human to look over that last part
235
00:13:03.899 --> 00:13:07.919
of what's going on. But that is a four-time increase
236
00:13:08.100 --> 00:13:11.769
in work. I met another gentleman who was selling a
237
00:13:11.850 --> 00:13:15.009
thousand homes a year in a place called Calgary, Alberta
238
00:13:15.070 --> 00:13:20.190
in Canada, which is an absolutely crazy amount of homes.
239
00:13:20.289 --> 00:13:22.580
As a real estate agent, again, and that's just the
240
00:13:22.629 --> 00:13:24.559
first starting field. So this is where my good examples
241
00:13:24.620 --> 00:13:29.720
come from. When we're dealing with online internet leads, if
242
00:13:29.779 --> 00:13:34.250
we're doing our proper follow-ups, we can handle about 150 leads. Now,
243
00:13:34.330 --> 00:13:36.789
a proper follow-up is a call every single day for
244
00:13:36.789 --> 00:13:39.590
10 days, a text and an email to any potential
245
00:13:39.629 --> 00:13:41.690
clients until they answer and you can close them. That's
246
00:13:41.750 --> 00:13:46.980
how we weed through them. So at about 150 online leads,
247
00:13:47.019 --> 00:13:51.320
that's where we start to get stuck. With one agent,
248
00:13:51.700 --> 00:13:55.990
one texting agent, I have now increased that to over 2,000
249
00:13:55.990 --> 00:13:59.159
leads that I can handle and operate. That'll now sift
250
00:13:59.179 --> 00:14:01.320
through at roughly the same numbers that I was doing
251
00:14:01.399 --> 00:14:04.580
as a person. This guy going back to selling 1,000 homes,
252
00:14:05.120 --> 00:14:08.980
he now deals with roughly 50,000 leads a month because
253
00:14:09.039 --> 00:14:12.350
what he did when one AI agent got overwhelmed, he
254
00:14:12.429 --> 00:14:16.950
created a second AI agent to stop it from being overwhelmed.
255
00:14:17.519 --> 00:14:20.899
And now I personally have a force of AI agents.
256
00:14:20.919 --> 00:14:23.220
I literally have one AI agent that manages all my
257
00:14:23.240 --> 00:14:28.450
other AI agents. So what it does is what's a
258
00:14:28.490 --> 00:14:32.769
realistic expectation? Cash, I'm telling you, we are living in
259
00:14:32.809 --> 00:14:35.529
a time right now that allows the small person to
260
00:14:35.590 --> 00:14:39.029
bring down big companies. Some of my programs that I'm creating,
261
00:14:39.230 --> 00:14:42.919
I am not targeting small local competitors. I'm targeting national
262
00:14:42.980 --> 00:14:46.909
competitors because the, the, I'll give you an example. I've
263
00:14:46.929 --> 00:14:50.590
dealt with website companies and lead generation companies within a brokerage.
264
00:14:51.429 --> 00:14:54.169
And because of the way their coding is, because they
265
00:14:54.230 --> 00:14:57.450
coded 20 years ago to build their programs, they can't
266
00:14:57.590 --> 00:15:00.720
adapt to a new way of vibe coding that I can.
267
00:15:00.740 --> 00:15:05.639
So every change takes the months. Meanwhile, I create massive
268
00:15:05.700 --> 00:15:08.940
programs within a week. And I am not joking. That
269
00:15:09.000 --> 00:15:12.700
compliance thing I was telling you about, which was very ironically, apparently,
270
00:15:12.720 --> 00:15:17.059
a very hard nut to crack. I programmed an entire
271
00:15:17.139 --> 00:15:23.370
compliance CRM website and backend within 10 business days. The
272
00:15:23.389 --> 00:15:26.529
whole thing, top to bottom, getting ready for beta. That
273
00:15:26.629 --> 00:15:30.480
used to take literally years to create. So what is
274
00:15:30.519 --> 00:15:34.960
a realistic expectation? I haven't hit it yet. Cash, I'm
275
00:15:34.980 --> 00:15:37.820
telling you, I try to push the limits because I
276
00:15:37.860 --> 00:15:39.740
want to know what that answer is. And I'm telling you,
277
00:15:39.919 --> 00:15:42.629
I have not hit it yet. Because the really cool
278
00:15:42.669 --> 00:15:45.220
thing is when I get successful, as I'm getting successful
279
00:15:45.259 --> 00:15:49.840
to a certain point, now instead of hiring a group
280
00:15:49.899 --> 00:15:51.799
of people, I'll give you an example. I have a
281
00:15:51.840 --> 00:15:55.039
help desk now for Synthetic Echo. That's entirely AI run.
282
00:15:55.539 --> 00:15:57.679
My next hire isn't to hire a whole bunch of people.
283
00:15:57.700 --> 00:16:00.980
It's to be to hire one person who is extremely talented,
284
00:16:01.019 --> 00:16:04.120
who understands AI, who I can now pay more because
285
00:16:04.159 --> 00:16:06.970
they're talented and I don't have other wages going out.
286
00:16:07.710 --> 00:16:09.850
And it's going to be their job to babysit the machines.
287
00:16:10.149 --> 00:16:14.250
So as I expand and grow, one person helps my
288
00:16:14.360 --> 00:16:20.220
global help desk. That is crazy for a small business owner.
289
00:16:21.279 --> 00:16:24.240
So I wish I could tell you what that limit is,
290
00:16:24.299 --> 00:16:27.320
but I haven't found it yet. And when I find it,
291
00:16:27.350 --> 00:16:28.509
I'll come back on and I'll tell you.
292
00:16:30.169 --> 00:16:33.289
This is a lot of insight into how this whole
293
00:16:33.330 --> 00:16:36.669
thing is growing up and people can set their own
294
00:16:37.220 --> 00:16:41.269
expectations and what better than this but let's look at
295
00:16:41.330 --> 00:16:44.830
it from the human centric side of it small businesses
296
00:16:44.950 --> 00:16:47.730
are generally known to be you know very close to
297
00:16:47.769 --> 00:16:51.529
their customers and they want to keep it that way
298
00:16:51.769 --> 00:16:55.860
their customers want to keep that relationship that way how
299
00:16:55.919 --> 00:17:02.000
do you bring in ai and still be human centric
300
00:17:02.379 --> 00:17:06.720
humane in your connection with your client what to automate
301
00:17:07.150 --> 00:17:08.450
What not to automate?
302
00:17:09.390 --> 00:17:12.480
Yeah, absolutely. So first and foremost, something I want to
303
00:17:12.500 --> 00:17:15.640
get out of the way, the really cool thing about
304
00:17:15.660 --> 00:17:18.680
AI is it allows you to automate all the stuff
305
00:17:18.700 --> 00:17:20.970
that bogs us down. So again, back in my real
306
00:17:21.009 --> 00:17:25.490
estate career, inputting leads, catching up the notes, sending out
307
00:17:25.529 --> 00:17:28.710
my thank you cards, blah, blah, blah, all this, sending
308
00:17:28.730 --> 00:17:31.700
all my social media posts, all this would bog me
309
00:17:31.759 --> 00:17:36.130
down throughout the day. The good news about AI, first
310
00:17:36.150 --> 00:17:38.349
of all, it's going to allow the automation of all
311
00:17:38.390 --> 00:17:41.029
that thing, of all of that. So now what's going
312
00:17:41.049 --> 00:17:43.950
to happen to the small and medium sized business owner
313
00:17:44.329 --> 00:17:46.710
is it's going to rely on your talent, whether you
314
00:17:46.750 --> 00:17:48.910
do well or not. It's going to rely on your mastery.
315
00:17:48.930 --> 00:17:51.650
So going back to my real estate example, now instead
316
00:17:51.670 --> 00:17:54.210
of being who is the best looking person on a
317
00:17:54.519 --> 00:17:57.480
bus shelter, all of that's taken care of via AI
318
00:17:57.519 --> 00:17:59.480
for my advertisement. Now it's going to be is how
319
00:17:59.579 --> 00:18:01.880
good is my listing appointment? How good is my scripts?
320
00:18:01.940 --> 00:18:04.750
How good is my negotiation skills? How good is my
321
00:18:04.809 --> 00:18:07.990
customer service, my follow-up, and everything else? So the great
322
00:18:08.089 --> 00:18:10.650
news is it's going to allow small people to compete
323
00:18:10.690 --> 00:18:14.369
against big people based off of mastery and talent. Now,
324
00:18:14.410 --> 00:18:17.839
here's the bad news with that, Okaj. It's also going
325
00:18:17.859 --> 00:18:20.980
to allow people to compete off mastery and talent. What
326
00:18:21.000 --> 00:18:23.460
I mean by that is if you do not master
327
00:18:23.500 --> 00:18:27.240
your craft, if you do not master the human element
328
00:18:27.440 --> 00:18:30.339
of your business, you are going to be left behind.
329
00:18:30.819 --> 00:18:32.839
And it's either going to help your business excel or
330
00:18:32.880 --> 00:18:35.559
it's going to leave you behind by not being a
331
00:18:35.720 --> 00:18:40.089
master of whatever you do. So to answer your question
332
00:18:40.119 --> 00:18:43.250
about what to automate is you automate the stuff that
333
00:18:43.329 --> 00:18:46.369
can be automated that bogs down your day. I obviously
334
00:18:46.470 --> 00:18:50.869
enjoy sleep. I'm not going to be responding at 2 a.m.
335
00:18:50.930 --> 00:18:53.549
Yet I do have worldwide clients and I do have
336
00:18:53.609 --> 00:18:55.670
clients that sometimes message me at 2 a.m. And I
337
00:18:55.710 --> 00:18:58.970
want to let them know that my company is listening
338
00:18:59.009 --> 00:19:02.490
to them. And so I have automated responders. They admit
339
00:19:02.549 --> 00:19:04.859
they're AI because I'm an AI company. I don't want
340
00:19:04.880 --> 00:19:06.579
to hide the fact that they're AI. But I have
341
00:19:06.740 --> 00:19:11.400
automated responders that have casual conversations with my clientele and
342
00:19:11.539 --> 00:19:14.319
capture what their needs are so that first thing in
343
00:19:14.339 --> 00:19:19.000
the morning I can call them. I automate my emails
344
00:19:19.059 --> 00:19:22.769
going out. My AI knows my voice. I got so
345
00:19:22.829 --> 00:19:25.569
bogged down in emails, Cash, that it would take literally
346
00:19:25.609 --> 00:19:29.019
my entire morning sometimes It now knows my voice. It
347
00:19:29.079 --> 00:19:32.220
creates all my emails for review. And then I quickly
348
00:19:32.240 --> 00:19:35.059
do a review and I send them all out. These
349
00:19:35.119 --> 00:19:39.380
are things I can automate. Here's what I cannot automate, though. Cash,
350
00:19:39.480 --> 00:19:42.450
I have the technology to automate me again in this
351
00:19:42.529 --> 00:19:44.990
podcast if I wanted to bring it on. I don't
352
00:19:45.150 --> 00:19:47.099
need to be here. I can have AI do it.
353
00:19:47.650 --> 00:19:49.609
But we're going to miss the human connection. There's a
354
00:19:49.630 --> 00:19:52.099
way humans... beings connect with each other and connect with
355
00:19:52.160 --> 00:19:55.519
the world. And it's something that AI cannot do. So
356
00:19:55.660 --> 00:20:00.319
by actually physically having me here allows me to express
357
00:20:00.400 --> 00:20:03.980
my passion to you, express my thoughts around it. AI
358
00:20:04.059 --> 00:20:09.799
cannot create. AI can only recreate. if that makes sense.
359
00:20:09.880 --> 00:20:13.140
So human beings create. That's one of the really cool
360
00:20:13.259 --> 00:20:18.329
things about being human. Yes, I can automate my, I'm
361
00:20:18.349 --> 00:20:21.049
dealing with a cleaner right now who we're automating her company.
362
00:20:21.130 --> 00:20:23.190
We can automate the follow-ups. We can let her know
363
00:20:23.210 --> 00:20:24.869
we're going to be there in 10 minutes. We can
364
00:20:24.910 --> 00:20:29.650
let her know the follow-up surveys afterwards to see how
365
00:20:29.670 --> 00:20:31.529
they're doing. We can let them know that we care.
366
00:20:31.569 --> 00:20:34.500
But what we cannot automate is that initial phone call,
367
00:20:34.559 --> 00:20:39.319
that discovery call, that sales presentation. We cannot automate that
368
00:20:39.380 --> 00:20:43.019
part because that takes your human mastery. That allows you
369
00:20:43.039 --> 00:20:45.319
to think on your feet because even though you have
370
00:20:45.380 --> 00:20:48.279
something like a cleaning business, every house is going to
371
00:20:48.319 --> 00:20:51.220
be a little bit different. So what I want to
372
00:20:51.259 --> 00:20:54.059
encourage people is we automate the things that bog us
373
00:20:54.119 --> 00:20:59.240
down in a day-to-day environment, in our meetings and whatever, blah, blah, blah.
374
00:20:59.819 --> 00:21:02.920
do not automate your craft though. Do not automate that
375
00:21:03.089 --> 00:21:05.890
intake call. Do not automate that sales call. Do not
376
00:21:06.089 --> 00:21:09.190
automate the customer relations when they actually need that hands-on
377
00:21:09.750 --> 00:21:12.690
human beings connect, whether you want to call it your soul,
378
00:21:12.769 --> 00:21:14.990
your consciousness, your energy. I do not care what you
379
00:21:15.039 --> 00:21:17.859
want to call it. Human beings have this thing that
380
00:21:17.900 --> 00:21:20.420
connects us to other people and the entire world. If
381
00:21:20.440 --> 00:21:23.799
you're a musician, yes, it can automate or a writer.
382
00:21:23.859 --> 00:21:26.539
I'm a writer. Um, it can automate a lot of
383
00:21:26.579 --> 00:21:29.859
that workflow, but the ideas, the essence still has to
384
00:21:30.000 --> 00:21:33.940
come through me. I am still guiding the AI. I
385
00:21:34.000 --> 00:21:36.119
cannot get that part out of it. So when you
386
00:21:36.180 --> 00:21:39.750
read my books, AI has definitely helped me construct the book.
387
00:21:40.410 --> 00:21:44.170
Yet it is my voice, my idea. I make sure
388
00:21:44.210 --> 00:21:48.430
it understands my concepts before I release it out to
389
00:21:48.450 --> 00:21:53.000
the world. You cannot automate the human soul and anything
390
00:21:53.039 --> 00:21:55.859
that takes mastery, cannot be automated.
391
00:21:57.740 --> 00:21:59.420
Absolutely, absolutely, Nathan.
392
00:21:59.789 --> 00:22:03.569
One last question that I have for you from my
393
00:22:03.630 --> 00:22:08.029
audience is that in terms of businesses, almost every business
394
00:22:08.569 --> 00:22:11.650
wants to have a process through which it can de-risk.
395
00:22:12.650 --> 00:22:16.509
And when you are bringing in AI, AI agents.
396
00:22:16.589 --> 00:22:21.279
AI automation, and whatever it is, a lot of that
397
00:22:21.380 --> 00:22:25.019
will depend on the future, how things are going.
398
00:22:25.079 --> 00:22:27.970
There can be a crash. There can be a problem
399
00:22:28.029 --> 00:22:30.150
at any point. Or maybe the.
400
00:22:30.089 --> 00:22:33.869
Country you are having your business in may have an issue,
401
00:22:33.930 --> 00:22:37.750
political issue with the country where the AI is coming from.
402
00:22:37.910 --> 00:22:40.250
You know, like it has happened recently.
403
00:22:40.579 --> 00:22:44.180
Anything can happen suddenly from the owner of the business
404
00:22:44.500 --> 00:22:47.000
of what it looks like to be an operator of
405
00:22:47.039 --> 00:22:49.940
a big company. Suddenly you would, you know, one day
406
00:22:49.980 --> 00:22:53.650
without all these things, you would be finding yourself in
407
00:22:53.670 --> 00:22:57.809
no man's land. How do you prepare for that scenario?
408
00:22:58.130 --> 00:23:00.470
De-risk your business, which is so close to you.
409
00:23:01.529 --> 00:23:05.460
That is a great question, actually. I don't get to
410
00:23:05.480 --> 00:23:07.319
talk about that very often. So there's a few ways.
411
00:23:07.359 --> 00:23:09.460
So first of all, we have to remember every company
412
00:23:10.059 --> 00:23:10.579
goes through this.
413
00:23:10.619 --> 00:23:11.160
I don't know.
414
00:23:11.240 --> 00:23:13.329
I think it was a worldwide outage. It definitely happened
415
00:23:13.349 --> 00:23:16.460
here in North America when Cloudflare went down. And all
416
00:23:16.539 --> 00:23:18.740
of a sudden, half our cell phones stopped working, half
417
00:23:18.759 --> 00:23:21.220
the websites will. So first of all, there's no business
418
00:23:21.289 --> 00:23:25.130
that's immune to this. That's the first thing we have
419
00:23:25.150 --> 00:23:28.930
to remember. Now, because AI is a quote unquote new technology,
420
00:23:28.970 --> 00:23:32.990
let's call it. There's a little bit more fear in
421
00:23:33.029 --> 00:23:35.569
that because we don't have a 20 year track history
422
00:23:35.650 --> 00:23:37.470
to look at it. So there's just a few things
423
00:23:37.490 --> 00:23:40.579
I'm going to recommend. Number one. And AI will do
424
00:23:40.619 --> 00:23:42.759
this for you, by the way, is I have AI
425
00:23:42.920 --> 00:23:46.500
track every time I build systems in basically like a map.
426
00:23:47.000 --> 00:23:49.299
And so the first thing I do is I know
427
00:23:49.460 --> 00:23:52.769
if one part goes down or if one part something happens,
428
00:23:53.289 --> 00:23:56.029
I can see on the map what went down and
429
00:23:56.109 --> 00:23:57.930
where I need to go ahead and fix it. And
430
00:23:58.470 --> 00:24:01.200
AI will take care of it. The second thing is
431
00:24:01.220 --> 00:24:04.240
I use a variety of AI programs. Now, to a
432
00:24:04.420 --> 00:24:06.700
very small startup company, you're probably going to start with
433
00:24:06.839 --> 00:24:09.299
one because you are looking at your budget and expenses
434
00:24:09.440 --> 00:24:12.299
as you should. But as you grow, I use multiple types.
435
00:24:12.319 --> 00:24:15.160
So if ChatGPT ever goes down, which it hasn't, but
436
00:24:15.220 --> 00:24:17.569
if it ever does, then I have Claude. And if
437
00:24:17.630 --> 00:24:19.549
Claude ever goes down, I have Gemini. And if Gemini
438
00:24:19.609 --> 00:24:22.910
ever goes down, I have Grok. And if Grok ever
439
00:24:22.970 --> 00:24:26.109
goes down, I'm now learning the Chinese ones. I do
440
00:24:26.130 --> 00:24:27.849
not know much about them yet, but I'm now actually
441
00:24:27.910 --> 00:24:30.890
beginning to dabble into them. And actually, I think I use,
442
00:24:30.910 --> 00:24:34.730
I think, is Alibaba? I think they're Indian based, aren't they, Alibaba?
443
00:24:35.900 --> 00:24:36.460
DeepSeek.
444
00:24:37.339 --> 00:24:40.160
DeepSeek, yeah. So I'm beginning to use, well, yeah. So
445
00:24:40.180 --> 00:24:42.519
I'm beginning to use all these different ones as the backup.
446
00:24:42.579 --> 00:24:46.000
And so essentially, when I create a program, I'm actually
447
00:24:46.200 --> 00:24:48.660
personally not feeding it with just one AI. I actually
448
00:24:48.720 --> 00:24:51.349
create two or three backups with AI into that. So
449
00:24:51.410 --> 00:24:54.980
if one goes down, it automatically converts over to another one.
450
00:24:55.640 --> 00:24:57.799
And this is the other really cool part to AI
451
00:24:57.940 --> 00:25:00.099
is we get to now control these systems. So for
452
00:25:00.119 --> 00:25:02.420
the longest time, what I had to do cash is
453
00:25:02.460 --> 00:25:04.480
I had to go hire another company to take care
454
00:25:04.500 --> 00:25:06.039
of this and just hope to God, they were really
455
00:25:06.079 --> 00:25:08.880
good at their job. Now I operate all these on
456
00:25:08.900 --> 00:25:13.089
my computers. My computers are essentially mini servers. And then
457
00:25:13.240 --> 00:25:16.569
as I go to expand, I do other server hubs, um,
458
00:25:16.589 --> 00:25:18.950
to be able to expand my business, but reliable ones
459
00:25:18.990 --> 00:25:20.569
to make sure like cloud flare that that was a
460
00:25:20.609 --> 00:25:23.809
glitch of how it went down. It'll almost never happen. Right.
461
00:25:24.119 --> 00:25:25.740
But if it does happen, it's not just me, it's
462
00:25:25.759 --> 00:25:27.079
the rest of the world. So people are a little
463
00:25:27.099 --> 00:25:30.480
bit more understanding, right? So there are ways to protect
464
00:25:30.519 --> 00:25:34.400
yourself in that sort of background environment. And just by extension,
465
00:25:34.440 --> 00:25:35.799
I know it wasn't really part of the question, but
466
00:25:35.819 --> 00:25:39.039
by extension, there's also able to protect your data. One
467
00:25:39.059 --> 00:25:41.019
of the people that I've partnered with in my company,
468
00:25:41.039 --> 00:25:44.740
because I'm what's called a vibe coder, I code through AI.
469
00:25:45.549 --> 00:25:48.309
Yet I do believe that traditional coding is needed, needed, needed, added, needed.
470
00:25:49.619 --> 00:25:51.819
So I actually partnered with a gentleman who is a
471
00:25:51.859 --> 00:25:55.160
traditional coder and he works on things like he right
472
00:25:55.180 --> 00:25:57.519
now he's working for NASA on drone protection, which is
473
00:25:57.539 --> 00:26:01.119
a really cool job and creating software to protect their
474
00:26:01.160 --> 00:26:03.299
rockets from drone attacks if it ever happens, because that's
475
00:26:03.339 --> 00:26:07.019
the new wave of warfare. He created a double encrypted
476
00:26:07.079 --> 00:26:09.839
blockchain and the invention of blockchain is going to massively
477
00:26:09.900 --> 00:26:13.279
change our world, which completely helps you to protect and
478
00:26:13.319 --> 00:26:15.730
encrypt your data and That even as we enter a
479
00:26:15.769 --> 00:26:18.569
world into quantum computing, we are still going to be protected.
480
00:26:18.609 --> 00:26:21.039
And as we enter into a world of AI, it's
481
00:26:21.079 --> 00:26:25.319
still going to protect our data from hacks, from corruption,
482
00:26:25.359 --> 00:26:29.920
from viruses, allow us to reset everything. So definitely what
483
00:26:29.940 --> 00:26:32.039
I would say, I guess the easier way of answering
484
00:26:32.079 --> 00:26:35.349
your question, especially for small business, is A, Have AI
485
00:26:35.430 --> 00:26:38.609
track your workflows so you always have a quote unquote
486
00:26:38.730 --> 00:26:41.309
roadmap to it. So at any point, if you need
487
00:26:41.329 --> 00:26:43.829
to switch AI companies or if you need to pass
488
00:26:43.869 --> 00:26:46.289
it off, you have the roadmap you can automatically put
489
00:26:46.329 --> 00:26:49.730
into it. The second part is don't. Yes, you can
490
00:26:49.849 --> 00:26:52.269
use one AI mainly. That is what I do. I
491
00:26:52.390 --> 00:26:54.390
use Claude mainly as an example. I'm not here to
492
00:26:54.430 --> 00:26:56.490
tell Claude. It just works really well for what I do.
493
00:26:57.140 --> 00:27:00.859
Yet I still have connections to all the other AIs,
494
00:27:00.960 --> 00:27:04.259
to Gemini and Google and to all the other AIs
495
00:27:04.339 --> 00:27:07.019
coming into the system. So in case something ever happens
496
00:27:07.059 --> 00:27:09.519
to Claude, like for example, when Fable got taken down,
497
00:27:10.240 --> 00:27:14.200
that's a perfect example. And thirdly, make sure that you're
498
00:27:14.240 --> 00:27:17.460
dealing with someone AI who understands the security and tech. Now,
499
00:27:17.619 --> 00:27:19.670
in all honesty, it's not my strong suit, but I
500
00:27:19.690 --> 00:27:22.720
have an AI partner. who is very strong in AI
501
00:27:22.799 --> 00:27:25.440
tech and compliance. And so she comes in on every
502
00:27:25.500 --> 00:27:28.420
major deal that we do to make sure we review it.
503
00:27:28.880 --> 00:27:31.109
And that way we make sure your data is protected.
504
00:27:31.130 --> 00:27:33.470
That way we have things like the double blockchain that
505
00:27:33.529 --> 00:27:36.349
we've helped bigger companies set up for that need protected
506
00:27:36.410 --> 00:27:39.589
data and need protected storage. So those are kind of
507
00:27:39.609 --> 00:27:42.769
the three points of protection. And they're all simple, by
508
00:27:42.789 --> 00:27:44.049
the way, I know I used a lot of big
509
00:27:44.089 --> 00:27:46.980
words there for people who may not understand tech. Trust me,
510
00:27:47.119 --> 00:27:50.250
this is all crazy simple to set up. Like Option
511
00:27:50.309 --> 00:27:52.450
A and option B. Option A is one command into
512
00:27:52.470 --> 00:27:56.230
your AI. Hey, Sushi, start tracking all my workflows in
513
00:27:56.259 --> 00:27:58.259
case something goes down. And it just says, got it, boss.
514
00:27:58.359 --> 00:27:59.920
And then I get a report once a week of
515
00:27:59.960 --> 00:28:03.359
what happens. The blockchain is one setup and then it's saved.
516
00:28:03.700 --> 00:28:06.779
The AI or the compliance and security, she comes in,
517
00:28:06.819 --> 00:28:09.259
she just evaluates the systems and then we're good. We
518
00:28:09.279 --> 00:28:10.910
just make sure there's no holes or gaps in it.
519
00:28:11.079 --> 00:28:12.319
It's very, very simple.
520
00:28:14.119 --> 00:28:15.559
Absolutely. Absolutely.
521
00:28:16.140 --> 00:28:19.369
One more thing that comes along with this question itself
522
00:28:19.509 --> 00:28:24.359
is that A lot of businesses, small businesses, not only
523
00:28:24.519 --> 00:28:30.119
are very, you know, they are confident about, you know,
524
00:28:30.480 --> 00:28:33.480
and about the data privacy part, as long as the
525
00:28:33.500 --> 00:28:35.799
data is with them, their customers' data.
526
00:28:36.200 --> 00:28:39.240
They also promise their customers.
527
00:28:38.720 --> 00:28:41.559
That their data is safe with them, that they are
528
00:28:41.599 --> 00:28:44.119
not going to sell, and they don't, indeed, never going
529
00:28:44.160 --> 00:28:48.829
to sell. Also, a lot of places have that data
530
00:28:48.869 --> 00:28:55.680
localization system. When you are integrating AI into your small business.
531
00:28:56.640 --> 00:29:02.140
Do you think you are still, you know, following the
532
00:29:02.200 --> 00:29:06.720
guidelines of either of your rules and regulations or whatever
533
00:29:06.759 --> 00:29:10.740
you are promising to your clients about their data in
534
00:29:10.779 --> 00:29:12.500
your terms and everything?
535
00:29:13.079 --> 00:29:15.339
Or is it that when you are putting that thing
536
00:29:15.940 --> 00:29:20.299
into AI or getting AI into your systems, in a way,
537
00:29:20.680 --> 00:29:24.240
you are firstly sending out the data onto another country
538
00:29:24.839 --> 00:29:29.289
and also perhaps violating the policy that you have enumerated
539
00:29:29.400 --> 00:29:34.609
on your own systems and How should businesses understand that
540
00:29:34.990 --> 00:29:39.069
even though you are opening any sort of AI system.
541
00:29:38.950 --> 00:29:42.369
In your own country, in your own laptop, within your systems?
542
00:29:44.130 --> 00:29:47.059
So I think first and foremost, AI is actually really
543
00:29:47.099 --> 00:29:49.700
good at not allowing codes. Sometimes I'll put in a
544
00:29:49.779 --> 00:29:52.420
key into my chat in AI, which only resides on
545
00:29:52.440 --> 00:29:55.819
my computer, really. Having said that, it blocks a lot
546
00:29:55.859 --> 00:29:57.789
of it out, even in the scripting, but then I
547
00:29:57.829 --> 00:30:00.670
have to rotate my keys out so AI doesn't remember them.
548
00:30:00.710 --> 00:30:03.170
So there's a little bit of compliance that you as
549
00:30:03.210 --> 00:30:05.910
a company or as a company owner want to learn
550
00:30:06.089 --> 00:30:09.690
some good, what would be the right term? Some good deeds.
551
00:30:09.750 --> 00:30:10.109
I don't know.
552
00:30:10.170 --> 00:30:12.430
Good deeds is the wrong term, but like some good
553
00:30:12.529 --> 00:30:14.450
things just to learn to make sure you don't accidentally
554
00:30:14.509 --> 00:30:16.329
compromise something like that. But then we go into a
555
00:30:16.369 --> 00:30:18.710
two part system. If you're a smaller company, you're probably
556
00:30:18.730 --> 00:30:20.500
not going to be able to afford your own security
557
00:30:20.519 --> 00:30:22.640
and you're probably going to be leveraging it out. So
558
00:30:22.720 --> 00:30:25.859
right now, I actually leverage a lot of my client
559
00:30:25.900 --> 00:30:29.490
and data security out to reputable companies that, whether it
560
00:30:29.509 --> 00:30:32.549
be Google, like I integrate a lot of Google's backend
561
00:30:32.569 --> 00:30:35.029
because I don't need to build it. Google already has
562
00:30:35.109 --> 00:30:38.710
a secure platforms that major companies around the world are already.
563
00:30:38.490 --> 00:30:39.329
Using, right?
564
00:30:39.930 --> 00:30:42.599
So I would A, recommend if you're on a smaller company,
565
00:30:42.710 --> 00:30:45.420
you can leverage something like Google to store your keys,
566
00:30:45.460 --> 00:30:47.519
your codes and everything else. There's a few others I use,
567
00:30:47.700 --> 00:30:52.309
Vercel and Supabase and Cloudflare. I know I'm getting technical jargon,
568
00:30:52.329 --> 00:30:54.210
but that's just for the person who loves vibe coding
569
00:30:54.230 --> 00:30:56.779
to go check it out. And make sure you run
570
00:30:56.799 --> 00:30:59.200
it through your AI assistant and just say, hey, I
571
00:30:59.220 --> 00:31:01.819
need to have a conversation around this. So, A, you
572
00:31:01.859 --> 00:31:05.660
can utilize third party companies very, very cheaply to be
573
00:31:05.720 --> 00:31:08.079
able to do it. And then as you grow and expand,
574
00:31:08.960 --> 00:31:11.599
I don't know where it is in India with blockchain.
575
00:31:11.980 --> 00:31:16.210
I know it's being extremely slowly introduced in North America.
576
00:31:16.809 --> 00:31:20.869
But blockchain is going to be the massive future of
577
00:31:21.269 --> 00:31:25.009
safety and protocol, so much so that we've invested a
578
00:31:25.069 --> 00:31:27.869
lot of time, money, and energy into creating those systems.
579
00:31:27.890 --> 00:31:31.190
So when you have a hub that stores offline servers,
580
00:31:32.299 --> 00:31:35.039
and it is, I'm trying to think of the best
581
00:31:35.119 --> 00:31:37.599
way to say it. It's connected to other hubs for
582
00:31:37.660 --> 00:31:41.420
data background and for data protection and security, but nobody
583
00:31:41.440 --> 00:31:43.680
can encrypt or read your data what's in it. It
584
00:31:43.720 --> 00:31:48.819
just has backend verifications. Blockchain is going to, I truly believe,
585
00:31:48.839 --> 00:31:52.880
will be the future of all data security because it
586
00:31:53.539 --> 00:31:58.029
is the next best thing, the closest to impossible to hack,
587
00:31:59.069 --> 00:32:01.750
even with things like quantum computing on the rise and
588
00:32:01.869 --> 00:32:07.039
everything else. So as we start to shift into a
589
00:32:07.119 --> 00:32:10.119
company getting big enough to store their own data, that's
590
00:32:10.160 --> 00:32:13.220
when we're going to start to look at solutions like blockchain,
591
00:32:13.420 --> 00:32:17.220
like to basically store backups offline. And that way, if
592
00:32:17.240 --> 00:32:19.380
there ever is a breach or if there ever is
593
00:32:19.440 --> 00:32:22.319
a virus, you're able to save it right away. But
594
00:32:22.380 --> 00:32:25.339
all your data is massively encrypted in a system that
595
00:32:25.420 --> 00:32:29.359
only you know. So part A is leverage third party
596
00:32:29.420 --> 00:32:32.220
companies that are reputable, big and good to store your
597
00:32:32.240 --> 00:32:35.759
data because Google, if they get hacked, man, your company
598
00:32:35.779 --> 00:32:37.039
is not going to be the problem, man. They're going
599
00:32:37.059 --> 00:32:40.369
to have a lot bigger issues than that. So I
600
00:32:40.410 --> 00:32:43.730
would leverage things like confident companies like Google, Superflare or
601
00:32:43.750 --> 00:32:48.269
a super based Cloudflare, Vercel, all the rest. And as
602
00:32:48.329 --> 00:32:51.150
you grow from a small to medium sized business into
603
00:32:51.190 --> 00:32:53.809
a large business, that's when I'd look at investing in
604
00:32:53.849 --> 00:32:56.369
your own into a blockchain company and having your own
605
00:32:56.470 --> 00:33:00.160
servers and networks put up. That's a secure closed system
606
00:33:00.660 --> 00:33:01.299
for protection.
607
00:33:03.430 --> 00:33:04.890
Absolutely. Absolutely.
608
00:33:04.910 --> 00:33:07.579
Nathan, there is so much to learn about all this
609
00:33:07.619 --> 00:33:10.019
from you. And I'm sure a lot of people, a
610
00:33:10.079 --> 00:33:12.680
lot of business owners would want to connect with you,
611
00:33:13.240 --> 00:33:16.460
learn all about this and perhaps also be your client.
612
00:33:16.539 --> 00:33:18.240
What's the best way for them to do so?
613
00:33:19.119 --> 00:33:22.539
My website that you see synthetic echo.com. Um, go to
614
00:33:22.579 --> 00:33:24.980
that website, connect with me on social media, connect with
615
00:33:25.000 --> 00:33:27.799
me on LinkedIn, Instagram. Uh, it still has a lot
616
00:33:27.839 --> 00:33:31.569
of my direct forms, my direct emails. Um, Actually, I
617
00:33:31.569 --> 00:33:33.279
think I have to still add my 1-800 number on there.
618
00:33:33.299 --> 00:33:34.759
So thanks for reminding me about that, Cash. But that
619
00:33:34.779 --> 00:33:38.039
way you can call in and my AI administrator will
620
00:33:38.059 --> 00:33:40.640
set you up with a call with me if we
621
00:33:40.660 --> 00:33:43.400
want to connect that way. But if you check out SyntheticEcho.com,
622
00:33:43.420 --> 00:33:45.359
you are going to know everything about my entire life,
623
00:33:45.440 --> 00:33:48.609
my businesses, my programs, my apps, my podcasts that I'm on.
624
00:33:48.650 --> 00:33:50.190
This one I'm going to put on there when we're done.
625
00:33:50.589 --> 00:33:54.950
This has been absolutely great. Thank you, Cash, for this. Yeah, SyntheticEcho.com,
626
00:33:55.230 --> 00:33:55.930
best place to reach me.
627
00:33:57.890 --> 00:33:58.930
Absolutely. Wonderful.
628
00:33:59.359 --> 00:34:02.259
With this, it's a wrap on this very special edition
629
00:34:02.720 --> 00:34:04.240
of the KJ Masterclass Live.
630
00:34:04.599 --> 00:34:06.599
Thank you so much indeed for joining us.
