Andy Wells: We still cool. Okay, still cool. All those shorts, tattoos, we still cool. Got bills, kids, got rules. ⁓ yeah. And we are back. My name is Andy Wells and as usual, my compadre, Mr. John Myers. Always man. Always. Always here. Always here. Which is great because this is Your place. I'm kind of weird solo. would be interesting if I was just in here doing and you showed up. Yeah. You know, I mean, what's what I call him? Oh, no, I don't call him Bob. Johnny. What's his name? We had that's a shame. It's been that long. We've already forgotten. We've forgotten some of our jokes. Man. Creepy across the street guy. He looked like the lead singer of of like. I got it. Hi karate. It kind of looks like you might know our friends from online. The JB kind of has that look. Well, you know what? think that's a Cajun Dale dance. That's a great, great thing and segue into something. So as you all know, and, and I don't know, hopefully we, not sure. Did we, I didn't check to see if we, we had the technical difficulties in the last podcast where we were talking about. But did we go through the second half where we talked about? Yeah. Cause we, yeah. Yeah. I think we have all that. But anyway, there's a whole lot of people that don't like us now because we seem to enjoy Joey bro. Yeah. I mean, like, I'm not saying that the whole post we made was Joey bro famous for being Joey bro. Yeah, exactly. I mean, it's self proclaimed fame and man, they lit us up. Oh dude. Yeah. Especially The ladies that I'm not like, no, they don't like him and they refuse to share us with or follow us because we did not, know, bet he didn't give them any attention when he was dancing and the Cajun Dilla, the Cajun Dales. That's a walk on stage. That's right guys. Make sure you try the Cajun Dilla when you go to walk on quite delicious. But what we're talking about is, is a stripper. ⁓ dance team, male dance, male dance review from a guess around the, ⁓ Karen Crow area. Who knows called the Cajun Dales. Not to be confused with the Chippendales, but this is something that has been talked enough, talked about enough online that if you search it, did you have pull up what you found the original, ⁓ search you did the Google AI Google AI. This is what comes up. The Cajundales Southern themed male entertainment or review group associated with performer Joey Bro operating around Shreveport, Louisiana, riverfront casino area. Shreveport. Male fantasy review. And they're remembered for taking photos on local paddle wheel boats. ⁓ huh. Yeah. Okay. Okay. The source for this information, Facebook and Instagram. Facebook and Instagram, right? Which circles back to Joey Burr. What I, when I looked it up through making shit up through AI. Yeah, it's a hundred percent Joey bro making shit up and people reacting causing conversation. So when I shoot it through an AI search, it says, I wasn't able to find any official widely recognized dance troop or organization called Cajun Dales or Cajun Dales in the usual music, dance databases, news articles, or cultural listings, which suggests it's made, it may not be a formal formal group. with a red presence beyond social media or local posts. I it either. However, what does turn up related to the name Cajun dance culture is as follows, which I'm not even going to read because it talks about actual Cajun dance. So yeah, that's the real thing. It says there are social media posts like Facebook, Instagram, referencing a dance team called the Cajun Dales. or Cajun Dale dancers connected with the local Louisiana events described humorously as being like the says shaving dales. I think they must mean chippendales, presumably a Cajun men's dance team for entertainment. So yeah. So it's now been talked about enough that it is searchable and could come up and confuse you. Yeah. So what sparked this controversy, if you will. is a photo which I will post. ⁓ There's a photo of Joey bro, a younger Joey bro, I guess in his dance, Cajun dance outfit, which is, I don't know, oddly enough. Very accurate. Like what I mean by that is it's like, it was really thought through. I'm like this, this outfit I'm looking at. I'll of course put the picture up so you can see it. And the weird thing is, is, you know, he's tall unless this girl that he's talking to was three eight. If she's three foot eight, then it makes sense, but she's probably an average height, which would put him much taller. So that's clue number one. think he made a dance. platform shoes. And now there's a great point. He could be wearing six inch stilettos. Have some lifts in there. He could have some lifts or something like that. He's got this weird looking thing. It looks like a weird mushroom, you know, cause AI sometimes screws up and you'll have, if you look at his jacket, one side has a Florida Lee over Florida Lee. And then there's this weird looking mushroom thing. I don't even know what that is. It looks like an alien, an alien mushroom. over it. And then if you notice on this side, say there's a fleur de lis, right? But then there's a weird alien mushroom or something like that. And of course, it's very, very obvious that this says Cajun dales on this piece of paper, but you can read nothing else on the piece of paper. And it's a really good photo to have been taken in, you know, the seventies or whenever it was, or even the eighties. So yeah, I think it's not, I think it's fake. But guess what? I'm not the only one that thinks it's fake. You're not the judges here. Yeah, I don't know things. Let's see what we got. Let's just go through a few of these. A ⁓ few of these comments. Let's say, of course, they say I don't think pictures were that good back then. Damn it, boy. I invented AI. that's funny. Damn it, boy. I invented 1989. I don't even know what he means by that. and it talks about his height. there's some, some, some stuff, ⁓ hold me close. Tony Danza, hold me close to Tony Danza. And Joey bro says Tony Danza wishes. That's his comment. Of course. See, he's very, he's very active response to people on the comments, which I'm surprised. Like, I don't know. This is great. Why were you the same age 30 years ago? And he, Joey replies, because legends don't age, we marinate. I'm pretty sure that's the voice. Joey. I'm pretty sure that's the voice he is. Somebody says, you seem a lot taller. ⁓ my gosh. Looks like you were a waiter at a pirate restaurant. That maybe that was the dress code at show me hey, maybe it was a show this way this is stage clothes Okay, Joe bro cause the stage clothes. Yeah Okay, well ⁓ AI Joey is also standing on a mill crate. Joey bro says height don't matter when the whole room stops and watches carry on. That's what he says. This is more than usual. He only usually comments. So like the first two people, he's going down here. He's making this Cajun deals thing big. He's going to try to somebody said that woman's four foot two. ⁓ my gosh, this is great. But anyway, so if you want a little bit of entertainment, recommend finding the old post of Joey bro and his pirate costume. Read the caption. He wrote to it too. It's great. Yeah. The caption. can't captions. Great. Ain't no shame in my game. That's that that steps out. Yeah. People laugh when they hear Cajun Dale. I like the something he said, ⁓ something for the ladies or something. would. ⁓ yeah. What did he say? ⁓ that's the video. Right. He talks about. ⁓ no. ⁓ no. It's in there. Don't hate the player. Hate the game. Yeah. And don't let your jealousy get the best of you. Okay. All right. That's a good, that's look, that's some, that's a good, ⁓ good advice. It's an elite group of men with one mission only to make the world a better place for. That's my favorite line. That's good. That's that's our podcast. That's the theme to this podcast. Joey, you're stealing our stuff. One One in the same. You know, I don't want to say it, but I still want to talk to I think it's so much fun to hang out him I think it would be a blast. I'd have so much fun. Me too. I'm just you know, I don't even I'm not bad mouth. I'm I just think well I mean, I guess I am I don't know Maybe I don't know I still think you'd be fun. Oh, definitely. I want to go I want to go check out a karaoke. Oh, I'm walking somewhere. I karaoke night Joey bros on the stage. Yeah, that's one thing that We should do it at the next cheer competition. got to find ourselves a karaoke night. Yeah. Yeah. While we're doing a cheer thing. Don't you think? can do that. I'm not a big karaoke. How do you know? You ever done it? No, I haven't. Well, so you don't know. Yeah, I don't know. Yeah. Speaking of cheer stuff, I had an idea while we were at nationals. Yeah. Not a few weeks ago. So I'm waiting on my youngest daughter's team to come out. Okay. You you're standing outside the stadium. You know, where they have the different colors, like the red, green, blue, whatever. the, everybody comes out that one door. So, you know, all the parents are just here waiting. Right. And that door opens, you don't know when they're coming. You don't know which team's coming out. You just waiting for the door to open and your kids to come out. It's like, it's, I don't know. It's like roulette, I guess. You know what, you know, you don't know. So we're down there waiting on my, on my daughter's team. We're standing there up the rail, you know, waiting on them to come out. And these other teams are coming out, you know, the parents are like, woo, yeah, clap and whatever. then like, were they like? Woo. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Good job. You know, like cheering them on, know, like when Joe Joey bro used to take the stage at the pageant Dale. a few teams would come out and nobody cheered for them. The girls come out and they're like, ⁓ okay. And they would just kind of walk off. So. I took it upon myself to cheer when no other parents were there to cheer for these girls. That's awesome. So I'm like, yeah, giving high fives to these girls that I've no idea who are. Sure. While they're running out. And that's like, you know, next year when our girls aren't doing anything, we need to like make t-shirts and just be complimentary cheer dads. That's so dad didn't show up, your parents aren't here. Come back. Hey, we'll cheer for you. Right? We'll give you a pep talk before you go out there. Sheer dad doubles. We'll, we'll be there waiting for you and give you a hug until you did a great job. Fill in. Right? Yes. Okay. Well, I'm gonna be out the hood part. Well, high fives. Yeah. Yeah. Now if we were doing college, I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. Nope. Kidding. Just kidding. But yeah, man, that's like, yes. And the girls seemed happy. They were all giving me high fives. That's really cool. girls were running out and stuff. ⁓ That's cool that you would even do that, man. Cause you're right. There's nothing worse than seeing a team and there's like barely anybody there. least for like high school, was during the world's competition. So there was like high school teams and younger teams like all coming out and like the older teams, like they'd come out and like, ⁓ I guess the parents didn't come to this one. I was like, all right, let's go. know, you know, Dutch town is least their team is, is fortunate that we have all the cheer parents. Pretty much. mean, there's, you know, we know one or two that we've never even seen before, but they're really all there. Yeah. And that's, one good thing. We've always had great support. I think that's one of the reasons why these girls, I felt so bad when they were out. Like where are these kids' parents at? Right? Think about the times that you and I have sat at a Dutch town football game where we have, you know, three or 400 parents in the stands. On the Dutch town side, can't even see our kids. Yeah. Can't even see our kids cheer. And then you look on the other side and there's not even enough parents to cover the entire team. There's not even 22 parents out there, you know, as, as in starters, I'm sure that well, well, there's one team we played for homecoming the past two years that I don't think they have 22 kids on the team. I think they were playing iron man football. Saddens me that, you know, parents do better. I mean, look, we're. We're not on a high horse when we say that, but jeez, support your children somehow. Support them. mean, I'm like, and benefit of the doubt, some parents are working and that's the whole reason their child gets to play. get it. Single parent stuff like that. Sure. I get it. But there's a whole lot of them out there that are just like dropping the kid off and going to shoot. I know something to drop the kids off and go to the bar and then pick them up. Yeah. Which is insane. Anyway, you got parents like that, holler at us next time. We'll cheer for you. Yeah, we'll cheer for you. I love that. I love the fill in cheer parent. That would be a great shirt. Something like that. Complimentary cheer dad. Complimentary cheer dad. It can just be like black and white, like basic color. Yeah. And we walk around and only, and we have them with us, right? And then right in that spot, we take that, we put them over our shirts and we cheer everybody and take them off. That'd be really funny. I think that's a great idea. Honestly, I think that would be funny. Especially if get a big group. And then just kind of go do that. That'd be cool. It'd be sweet to the kids. know it was, it was cool for me. hope it was. I think so. They were high fiving. Yeah. Like, I don't know. They probably made their day. There's one thing also that, you know, because I'm my business mind starts to kick in. Yeah. It has nothing to do with the dispensary. I've recently saw one of those by the way. Unbelievable. It's crazy, right? The amount of traffic. Yeah. And I'm as in Lake Charles, but anyway, that's why there's one in, in very, you saw it. Yes. Super nice. Don't even know how they do it. I know, man. It's, ⁓ they only gave out so many licenses in the state to begin with. I think it's like a gaming license price. They had to pay an ungodly amount just to apply for the license with not necessarily no, no guarantee. know who they're going to give it to. You know, ⁓ but yeah. Well, that's not my idea for a cheer competition. Yeah, let's get the record straight. Side note. Side note. I think you come up, you call ESPN and you say, hey guys, I want to rent chairs. I want to rent chairs for the field. Something like that. Because there's nothing worse than going out those food trucks. ⁓ yeah. You got nowhere to sit. They got a few picnic tables. And if you sit on the concrete, because sometimes it's damp. All the teams are coming out and they're walking around. So then you try to sit. I had to get a garbage bag the other day. I borrowed a garbage bag from one of the people and, ⁓ set it down and sat on that. But I saw all these parents getting up and their butts are wet. It's like, Hey man, I will rent you a chair right now. Well, one tip on Sunday, this only goes for Sundays there. Baseball stadium, man. ⁓ hundred percent. to be on Sunday. I like to get the, like Carrie and I. Got food and just went and ate there. Yeah. That's why get to, Yeah. Just relax. It's the best. There's no announcements. Yeah. These crazy people out there dancing and all the silly games and stuff going on out there. in there. Well, man, I think we have a little, uh, a little beer today. Yeah, we do. Once again, supplied by my buddy, Jacob Talley, who, uh, surprised me at a basketball game with a couple of brews. And said, try these out on the podcast. He's one for one so far. for one. We had, look, we left the bottle up so you can it. man. was so good. Yep. This one's from Firestone Walker Brewing Company. Okay. Hey, it's a vintage parabola. Parabola. You know what that sounds like? A disease. But anyway, Imperial. Aged in bourbon barrels. drank that, he got that parabola. You gotta be careful. the parabola. Joey Brew had parabola one time. He invented parabola. What you talking about? Let's see what we got. Ooh, I like that color already. I like that color already. ⁓ look at that. Look at that. Look at that head forming. Wait a minute. Speaking of head forming, I've got a story from Disney. ⁓ Made me think about this. that out. That's good color. Oh, I cannot. Yeah. So we get there the one day I go to the parks, right? Yeah. So we go to this stand. They had the Dole whips. So yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So like, know, my daughter wants a Dole. It's the Dole whip every time. So we stopped. I was like, I don't really want anything sweet. I was like, let me get one of those beers. They have like an amber beer there. So we get one those. So first off, kids get their ice cream and I'm still waiting. It's a draft beer. Right? How hard is it? So the girl finally comes over and gives me the, you know, the, the plastic cup and swear the head was like over half of the cup. Yeah. And those beers are not cheap in Disney. So it's, me. Hey, could you repour that please? Like I don't want half of I actually want beer. I actually want the whole cup. I appreciate you letting the head rise. at me and she goes, ⁓ I've never done it before. Oh, fine. Tilt the cup a little bit. Just a touch. Let some of the foam come out of the top when you fill it and straighten it up. Yeah. I guess. Second try, she got it. She got it? Yeah. You did it. You train them one at a time. I'm just out there spreading knowledge. Spreading knowledge. You got to get the people what they want. Hey man, yeah. All so this has... try this thing. This is going to have a little whiskey? It's in the bourbon bottles again, our barrels. I don't know if it's going to be like that barley one. Barley wine looks like... Great bourbon. ⁓ Yeah. It's good. Yes. Not as strong. Not as strong at all. I get more of a chocolatey stout. Yes, I do too. You tasting that? Chocolatey stout. Here's what I'm liking. It's finishing with the stout. Yes. You get that chocolate at the end. It's not finishing with the bourbon. Not that there's anything wrong with that. No. But I like it. Yeah. Yeah. It's good. Now, speaking of taking an Uber home, you might have to when they start this road construction by the house. And you got to go 10 miles to get here. they, where are they shutting it? It's shutting down bluff. So I'm going to have to drive all the way to Dutch town to get Kate to school in the morning. By airline in 73. Can you cut through, uh, no, that doesn't work. Nope. Are they doing work on the bridge? I think so. I remember when they, when the by your bridge was closed and had to travel to people I knew that lived on that road and I had to go all the way to St. Gabriel and come the back way. Yeah, well that was delicious. Yes, really enjoying that. So let's talk about yours and mine. Favorite new boy band. Yes. Boy Throb. Yes. At first of all, I'm gonna go right back to it. What the hell kind of name is boy Throb. You're have to go back to some of the older videos where they talked about the the name. Oh, is that what I'm gonna have to do? Yeah, you have to go scroll way back. Did you know that they have followers? Oh, yeah, they've got over a million. Do you know what they're called? No. Oh, let me tell you. What are we called? Apparently, you and I because we follow them. We're one of two. We're either the Throb Mob. Okay. We're part of the Throb Mob. I like it. Or we're Throbbers. Oh, I like that one. I like that one too. Throbbers. I'm a Throbber. So just for those of you who I can't believe are not educated on boy, but this is an official throbber podcast. This is now in a throbber podcast. So boy, throbs, a viral American boy band style is pop a style pop group that emerged primarily on tick tock and social media in late 2025 gaining the titans for its quirky online presence, matching pink outfits and unusual narrative around one of its members. U S visa situation. Dorshawn. Dorshawn. So I'm not going to lie. This was brought to my attention last month or so by right here. Hot take. Yeah. John Meyer. I try to try to keep my finger on what's going on in the world. He knew. He knew. He said, you got to check this out. There's this band and they have a singer they're trying to get over from overseas on a visa and you know, they're asking for a million followers. Yeah, we need your support. Interesting. them a follow. Interesting point though. They have like 1.3 million followers and Not here. Darshan is unfortunately not here. So we don't know what's going on with that. But just so you know, Boithrob also consists of four members total. have ⁓ Evan Papier or Papier, however you want to say it vocalist and online creator. have Anthony Key who's a singer and dancer. Go Anthony. We have Zachary Sabana, maybe a musician, which I haven't seen them play actual instruments, but He plays guitar and violin and he's a, and he's a vocalist. And then we have the legendary Darshan Magnum. Okay. Singer based in India featured remotely in his videos. They first started their content in October of 2025. Okay. I was there for pretty close to the store. Yeah. Under the username at boy.throb on Tik TOK quickly attracting over a million followers within a month. That's something I was there before the million man. Yeah. Yeah. So you're, you're a hard, you're a hard core throbber. Hard core throbber. So, ⁓ so what makes them stick out? You think is it their signature look, the matching pink tracksuits and catchy content that helps them go viral. liked, I liked the Darsh on this or my next question, or is it the storyline in their posts? They're not horrible either. They were like, They will like take Taylor Swift songs and like rewrite the lyrics. Like bring Darshon here. you know, thought it was funny. It was good, man. It's good. It is creative. And there's a very interesting thing out there. The law. You can take, um, a licensed song or a song that has a copyright on it on a streaming platform and rewrite the lyrics and it makes it your own and you will not get in trouble. Okay. This is only streaming. I don't believe you cannot do that on, ⁓ on like, ⁓ we can actually like release the song. Yeah. can't like actually release it and do an album or anything like that. I think, I think that's the rock. But, ⁓ did you know what the name of their debut single? Yeah. ⁓ that's great. But just try to guess the name of them. They're, they're boy, throb. Remember that. What do you think then if you were a band called boy, throb, what would the name of your debut single be? I'm like, I don't know. on. Give me, give me two. Give me two heartthrob. No, no, no. Two, two normal. Yeah. Just tell me it's finger finger. Of course it is finger finger. Just finger that was released in December. So it's on YouTube and all sorts of stuff. So anyway, his, ⁓ These guys have been on the Howie Mandel show I think we were talking about that before we got cut off the other day Yeah, I can't tell he acts like he's a huge fan, but I cannot tell I just jumped I cannot tell if he's Really a huge fan or not. Yeah, he does a video where they're singing and everything He's kind of sitting there staring at each guy and he's walking around looking at him and there goes to that one guy that I don't Understand what he's doing in the band. mean you'd say you're a fan. You're a fan of what they're doing Yeah, a hundred percent. But I mean, would I buy a record? No, probably not. But I mean, I don't think they have any fans of the actual music that they're. think it's the show. think it's the spectacle. Yeah. I think you're a hundred percent right. But I'm going to make it a point to find the boy, throw up tunes. I'm going to listen to them and I'm going to report back here next time. Yeah. It's the, it's the creativity. Yeah. And they just, you know, putting yourself out there like that. may do that. I may, I may watch the video and critique it. Okay. I may do that and then let you know what I think, you know, it'd be kind of funny. Maybe I'll watch the video and critique it. You also separately watch the video and critique it and then we'll do it together. That might be interesting. Yeah. Let's, let's, let's look into boythrob and I'm thinking, I'm thinking if boythrob is out there, they need to send us some throbber t-shirts. ⁓ yeah. I will need a double X. I'm a big boy. I will wear that. big and tall. He's going to need us a children's gap medium. That's what John needs. Children's gap medium. But yeah, that's old boythrob. Quite interesting. And I believe that I am hearing some music that leads me to believe we are about to have once again, ⁓ our special guests. ⁓ yeah. I can't even believe it. They're coming in. They're coming in. Here they come. Let me do the magic. somewhere around here. Hey, whoa, we're back. We're back. Got rid of those other guys. My name is Arande and this is Jahan. Yes. And we're here to discuss pickleball. Yes. Cause that's what we do. There's other nerds. I don't know what they're talking about. Some sort of handthrob or something. Handthrobbing. Those nerds we're talking about. And Joey Brokes. And Joey Brokes. I don't know what they're talking Never heard of that guy. So what's new, man? Looking fit. Thank you. You're looking like you you're body bagging some people right? Tearing them up every time I get a chance. Yeah, man You had any you look like you just ran 11 points on somebody and they didn't even score pickle pickle They call me Johan the pickler the pickler. That's right. That's a good one put tattoos on people's necks Yeah, they should you know who you know who needs to sponsor you? ⁓ Vlasic. Yeah, go ahead I you'll mind if I drink this. No, I'm taking his beer too. He can't handle that anyway. Let's see what they're drinking. Okay. They got good taste. Yes. I got good taste in beer. So what's new, man? What you got? What you got to talk about? ⁓ know, you know, we've talked about Dupre before. This is what Dupre's doing now. Continuing to confuse people. Continuing to confuse people. But right now you can pay for the low price of $35. You can reset your Dupre. Reset it. can reset your duper to what you have to play four games. Duper rated games. You have to have at least two different partners or in singles, you have to play at least two different people and they will reset your duper based on those four games and forget the stuff that was before. Wow. That just continues to make that rating system so seem fair. Instead of doing what the system is actually supposed to do because it's it's what dynamic? ⁓ Universal player rating right so it's not very dynamic. Right. If your later games don't count more than the games I played a year ago. Right. So in my, my experience, a lot of people I know, once you hit that 100 % reliability, that is it. You can go up like maybe a thousandth. So yeah. Well, I've never quite understood the reliability score. think it's just how many games you played and how many games the people you've played have played and that kind of thing. I see. So, you you play one or two games, your reliability is low. So then now, then your Dupre is going to go up and down a lot. But once you hit that 100%, that's where you're at. Or unless you want to pay 35, oh, and it's no risk. If your Dupre goes down, you can just keep your old Dupre. Oh, you get to pick. No risk. No risk of your Dupre score. The only risk is $35. For something that the algorithm should be doing already. I wonder how many people are actually doing that. I'm sure it's going to be a lot. Yeah. Cause you talk to people, everybody hates their Dupre, but I mean, Hey, Our Dupers are already so high. mean, what do do with that? But the other guys that do this podcast, I they're probably venture. mean, really the lower, the better, honestly. Right. So then you can get into more like lower tournaments. Yeah. Stuff like that. the guy that sits in this chair is, know, slacking a little bit. His Duper might be a little more accurate than it used to be. When he gets back into it, you know, maybe he might be saying back in I they're going out to some new pickleball place this week. Ooh, yeah. Livingston parish. Livingston parish. All right. Well, that's going to be exciting. Well, I have been following a little bit of the, ⁓ of the action. Yeah. ⁓ something happened recently with Ben John. Yeah. He's been blowing me up for lessons. Yeah. He lost that match. Yeah. That was a big deal. Yeah. Him and Anna Lee. Yeah. Anna Lee, ⁓ she's been calling me up for lessons. Sorry. It's been, that's calling you, but you know, I had to her, said, listen, you know, I'm first of all, happily married. ⁓ you know, wouldn't look good. said, but I got a good, I got a guy I know who's probably better than me at any of it. His name is Joey bro. You may have, you may have known him from, yeah. She knows everybody. She's like the old Cajun Dale's guy. And I said, yes, old and told him about, yeah. My grandmother, maybe. go to the shows. Yeah, she did at the river front or the river boat and take pictures on the paddle boats. Yeah, that's what she did while listening to Boy Thrive. But anyway, yeah, so I did see some of that scuttlebutt. That was kind of cool. it really does amaze me, these players. you know, honestly, I mean, clearly not as good as you and I, right? But then some of them are really close. It's cool watching the the dynamic of the crowd during that game. I was watching it at first, you know, they're cheering for Anna Lee waters and Ben Johns when they do something good, you know, yeah, awesome. I'm here to watch the best, right? Right. What they do. Right. But then somewhere it turns and the crowds like, let's see the underdogs beat. Now I want to see the underdogs beat them because they've won. play the best of three. Right. And they got beat three straight. So now somewhere in that second game, it kind of changes to let's, let's see these people get upset. Yeah. Or let's see them try to come back from this. So the crowd kind of switches from backing them to backing the other team. was, it was kind of interesting. That is cool. I want us to go to an event. Awesome, man. We need to figure that out. I think they usually come around like Dallas or Houston. Okay. It's the closest they come around. Yeah. We've to figure that out. Well, once again, we're very happy to be guests of the John and Andy on their podcast. Still cool kinda, but ⁓ we got to roll on out of here because I got to give. ⁓ there's Ben again. Asking me if I can meet up for some, some drills tonight. Yeah. She's too kind of booked up. All right. Well on that note, we're gone. ⁓ yeah. Wow. Those guys are, those guys are something else. Yes, they are. There's something else. Well, I don't know about you, man, but I am ⁓ kind of looking forward to ⁓ this warmer weather coming in. Yeah, me too. Yeah. Supposedly there's going to be another cold front this weekend down here in Louisiana. And the good thing about rain in Louisiana around this time is it's going to wash away all that Mardi Gras funk that was going on in New Orleans. know, are you a, are you a parade guy? I like it. Yeah. It's fun when we get to go, which ones do you go to? We, we all usually try to hit the ones the weekend before the weekend before Mardi Gras. Yeah. So the crowds are not as crazy and you can, you know, get out there and have a good time. Yeah. I've never done like the huge ones on like that weekend before Mardi Gras, like the, Bacchus in Indumian. Yeah. ⁓ I mean, going on Mardi Gras day is fun, but, I mean, it's, you gotta fight, man. Got to fight for your spot. Beastie boys said it best, man. You got to fight for your right to party. Yeah, you do. That's it. Now I've never done like the French quarter thing. ever. Like going down to the French court during that time? Like during Mardi Gras. Yeah, I think I've done it all in the past and kind of over all that. think if I do it again, there's actually the parade that I would go to again that I kind of dug is St. Patrick's Day. In Baton In New Orleans. ⁓ in New Orleans? Okay. New Orleans one. I like the one in St. I like the Baton Rouge. The Baton Rouge one. was impressed with the Baton Rouge one. It was a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be the first time I went. Well, I got a little upset. I don't remember how many years ago this was, but my oldest was young. Yeah. My oldest was probably eight, nine, 10, somewhere around there. And, um, LSU law float was coming by and a guy, a guy threw a beer, a whole draft beer and the cup just slams and hits my daughter. Oh, that's yeah. I was not, I was not happy. Yeah. So I'm going over the rail. Gary's grabbing me. My buddy was with me. He's grabbing me. He's like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, You know, action taken and of course that guy apologized and all that. mean, I don't know what else you're to do. I wasn't really expecting anything. I was just infuriated because my daughter had just been hit with a beer at nine years old. So I didn't go for a couple of years. I'm sure it affected everything. Show those guys, you're not going to see me out there. You know, but, but I think that that one. That's probably maybe Spanish town. used to go to when I used to play. I to I've never been to Spanish town either. used to play out there. So they'd do block parties and I played music for him or at a club right after things like that. Back in my young, young days when people gave a shit about me playing music, you know, now it's just like, who's that? Who's that old? Some people do. Well, you do. There's a few people that are there. My important friends. The craziest thing to me, the last time we played was was karaoke night. Right. So y'all got done. And then like the whole dynamic of the bar changed to college kids and the, like a snap, like I look around and it's a bunch of old guys and gals and we hang around watching you play music, know, and then all of a sudden, all right guys, we're gone. And it's like college kids. I'm like, just happened? Yeah. I know. kind of wish it was crazy. was crazy. yeah, I know. I told myself it's like they were just waiting on you to say we're done. We're done. But they enjoyed the last few minutes. Yeah. Yeah. I got some good. Yeah. We had a good time. They were requesting stuff. was fun. It was, it was a fun night, but yeah, you know, I told myself when I was in my early late, yeah, I say my very early twenties and I was doing this thing of playing music. said, you know, I'm not ever gonna be that guy that I was seeing at the time who, you know, I knew was probably 50 or 60 and still playing for money. Like I just, I told myself, and when it got close to that, you know, I kind of got off of it. Now I just do it for fun. get to see my buddies. I get to play music with guys that I miss playing music with. All my friends come hang out and it's a good time, you know, you know, I won't, I don't tell anybody, you know, but you don't even have to really pay me. You know, I'm not showing up without getting paid, but you don't really have to pay me. know what I mean? It's just, it's just cool to do. So yeah, you being there the past couple of years and then the wife came out and had a good time. I Yeah. think so. Yeah. that whole thing is fun. But I speaking about parades. Yeah. We have a story from one of our friends that went to the, the Bacchus parade that Drew Brees was in. ⁓ yes. Shout out. Jeraice will stop there because he's a very important person, but yeah, ⁓ bad hands. Drew Brees is in the, in the parade, throwing out little footballs to everybody. Yeah. Locks eyes with our friends. It's like you rose it and he just dropped it. Dropped it. Brick hands. Come on man. Absolute brick. So and then what's the first thing he does after he drops the football from Drew Brees? Calls pass interference. No. Okay. Wave it off. He texts the group chat. Yeah. He does text and tells him. mistake. Big mistake. Yeah. Yeah. That was great. So since then his wife has left him. ⁓ His kids won't talk to him and he's banned from walk-ons. the ball. Watch the ball into the hands. Basic, basic football. So I love it. Well, on that note, it looks like we run out of time. Shout out to our buddy that can't catch a pass from Drew Brees once in a lifetime experience. Good job. And ⁓ yeah, we will see you next time. Peace. Later.
