TUNGKOL SA EPISODE NA ITO
Hello everyone,
On to the next episode of the ESOA Podcast.
It’s summertime, so it’s time for something a bit fresher.
Not quite as fast, and certainly not as heavy.
Today’s guest has been making a name for himself as a drum & bass DJ since the late 90s.
Back then as Mr Spooky, now known as Tom Newman, his style is more straightforward
but no less interesting.
He combines a well-curated electronic sound with familiar sound snippets that often
lead to ‘aha’ moments.
Tom has also always been actively involved in the scene through his other endeavours.
He founded his label, KWZ Records, in 1997; has always been – and still is today –
a freelance contributor to clubs and cultural venues; spent several years as a sound designer
at Hessischer Rundfunk; and is currently involved in the planning at JAPO Concert and Event Services.
That sounds like he has little free time, but when he does have some, he spends it on music.
Look forward to a fresh electronica experiment.
Here is ESOA Podcast 098 by and featuring Tom Newman.
Have a great time with it and enjoy the summer.
Love and Peace
Intro Track: CJ Bolland – Sugar is Sweeter

He se…
Hello friends, and a peaceful and healthy New Year to you all.
A new year is beginning, but we are continuing as usual. High quality, each and every artist anew. Always with an eye on the subculture, without any Tam Tam.
This is also true of my guest today, Edmund Telasco, better known to many as …
Good evening dear friends of electronic music.
My guest today looks back to 1989, when he and his brother created mixtapes in a style mix between rap and acid house, featuring artists such as Bomp the Bass, Adonis, Public Enemy and Ice T. But he was and still is no stranger to punk either.
In 1993…
