Greetings to everyone out there on the airwaves,
to a new broadcast of the ESOA Podcast. This month’s episode is number 97, and my guest is Sven Kupfer. He began his first forays into DJing in 93 using various formats such as vinyl, cassette, audio tape and CD. Over the years, he’s played at various clubs such as Farblager, Seilfabrik Zwickau, Weißer Hase in Berlin and Velvet in Hamburg, as well as on platforms like Love Parade, Ampathy and Beatconnect. Since at least 2014, he’s also been working in the studio himself, releasing, amongst other things, his first LP Facets in 2020 and his second LP, Seasons, in 2023. These were released on the Dudes on Decks Records, which he personally runs. He best describes his sound as minimal, techno or progressive.
