#162 - Chris Beal

In this episode of The Cory Cast, I sit down with Chris Beal, the visionary founder behind CNY Professionals Under 40.

What started as a simple Facebook group born out of a desire for connection has exploded into a massive networking powerhouse, hosting monthly events and expanding into new cities across the region. Chris joins me to pull back the curtain on how he scaled this community and why he is so passionate about helping others build their businesses—regardless of their background or industry.

We dive deep into:

• The Evolution of Networking: How a digital community transitioned into high-energy, in-person events at iconic Syracuse locations like the Mansion on James.

• Building a Culture of Growth: Chris explains the core mission of "Professionals Under 40" and how they foster professional development and mentorship for rising talent in Central New York.

• Scaling Beyond the City: The strategy and mindset required to take a local movement and grow it across different chapters and cities.

• Business Lessons from the Trenches: Chris shares his personal journey as an entrepreneur and why he believes in "paying it forward" to the next generation of leaders.

Whether you are an established business owner, a young professional looking to expand your circle, or someone with a big idea and a Facebook group, this conversation is packed with insights on community building and leadership.
