Why are so many young men struggling with loneliness, aimlessness, addiction, and a lack of purpose?
On this episode of Truth Changes Everything, Dr. Jeff Myers sits down with Luke Waters, founder and executive director of Legion XII, to discuss the crisis facing young men and what a biblical vision of masculinity can offer.
Luke describes what he calls "the drift," a pattern of nihilism, pornography, screen addiction, drug use, isolation, and purposelessness affecting his generation. He shares how his experience at Summit Ministries inspired him to take action and eventually build Legion XII, an organization challenging men to pursue brotherhood, discipline, responsibility, and godly manhood.
Dr. Jeff Myers and Luke explore what biblical masculinity actually looks like, why men need meaningful challenges, the dangers of "vicarious masculinity," how churches can better disciple men, and why masculinity should be shaped by the humility and example of Jesus rather than passivity, pride, or the online manosphere.
