Dissecting Dancing with the Stars
Welcome to Dissecting Dancing with the Stars, the recurring feature of The Dancing Housewife Podcast where we take a closer look at the glitz, glamour, drama, dancing—and occasionally the questionable scoring—of Dancing with the Stars.
This season, we’re doing things a little differently. Instead of having one permanent co-host, The Dancing Housewife is opening the ballroom doors to a rotating cast of DWTS enthusiasts, dancers, fans, and fellow observers of all things glittery and 10-worthy.
Each week, The Dancing Housewife and a guest co-host will dissect the latest episode, sharing their thoughts, opinions, observations, predictions, and plenty of ballroom banter.
What We’re Talking About
Each episode of Dissecting Dancing with the Stars may include:
💃 The Dancing: What worked, what didn’t, and which couples caught our eye.
⭐ The Scores: Do the judges’ scores tell the whole story?
🗣️ The Judges: What did Carrie Ann, Derek, and Bruno have to say—and did we agree?
👗 The Costumes & Presentation: Because on DWTS, the look is part of the performance.
🎭 The Stories: How did the celebrities’ packages and personal journeys affect the performances?
📈 The Leaderboard: Who moved up, who moved down, and who surprised us?
🔮 Predictions: Who might be in trouble next week? Who could be a dark horse?
🥄 The Soapbox: Our chance to dish about anything else happening in the ballroom!
And, of course, there may be a little Dancing Housewife perspective thrown in for good measure.
The Revolving Door
One of the fun parts of this season is that you never quite know who will be sitting beside The Dancing Housewife next!
Each guest co-host brings their own perspective, experience, personality, and level of DWTS obsession to the conversation. Some may have ballroom experience. Some may be longtime viewers. Some may simply have strong opinions about sequins, lifts, judges' scores, and whether that was really a 9.
That's what makes each episode a little different.
