Dry Flush makes its mark in portable toilet tech

Techstination, your destination for gadgets and gear. I’m Fred Fishkin. When it comes to innovation in outdoor tech….a company called Dry Flush is making its mark with the Laveo.. a portable toilet that makes the going easier wherever you are. CEO Doug Rice..

“We put a cartridge in it that has 21 feet of mylar film and it creates a bowl and you go to the bathroom in it, press the button and a fan will turn on and close up the waste. Then a twist motor will turn for four complete revolutions and then a second fan will kick on and pull down a new bowl.”

The Laveo can use AC or a battery that can give you up to 300 flushes on a charge. For many…the Laveo..at just over a thousand dollars…may be a perfect solution…at home or away. Learn more at dry-flush.com.
