TIETOJA TÄSTÄ JAKSOSTA
Sorry this is a week late. The issue was my anguish and various agonies.
But this week we're talking about lightning, which seems like it shouldn't be real, but apparently it can be explained by "science". Our expert this week (Joe (he/ him (sorry we forgot to say that out loud on the show))) was struck by lightning once, which really doesn't give him any expertise, but he was the only one who could come in... So we're taking your calls to talk about lightning, lightning rods, and the elaborate conspiracy being executed by members of the Utilities Regulations Board (URB) who are dead set on taking away your rights. Someone should really "fire" them. If you're interested in helping people whose rights are under attack, head over to abortionfunds.org and drop a donation if possible.
If the steady erosion of various rights is getting you down, you can always listen to a rad tune to bring you back up. Our recommendation this week is July's People by Djunah. That whole album (Ex Voto) is the raddest thing I've heard in a while. Check it out on their bandcamp and follow em' on the gram so you can get psyched for their next record ( @djunahband)
Content Warning: kind of a lot of talking about someone pissing their pants, references to being struck by lightning, threats of physical violence, discussion of politically motivated arson and murder, an allegory for real life attacks on reproductive rights, discussion of death via car explosion, sword murder
