Script/2/Screen continues talking about acclaimed movies from the past year as Kenyatta, Mark, and JC venture into the strange wonderful world of Yorgos Lanthimos with the Greek filmmaker’s latest Poor Things. Emma Stone is Bella the child-like daughter of a Frankenstein-esque surgeon played by William Dafoe who is adamant about figuring out the bizarre, absurd, patriarchal world she lives in. Keep queuing us up as we’ll continue catching up with outstanding award-contending movies with American Fiction starring Jeffrey Wright.
