TIETOJA TÄSTÄ JAKSOSTA
This week at The Writer’s Table, I’m joined by contemporary romance author Amanda Shelley to talk about her boxed set, Summers With The Lancasters.
After first meeting Amanda during the Readers and Writers event in Seattle, I’m excited to continue our conversation and take a trip to Seaside. This collection features five complete stand-alone romances, with Lanie, Sloane, Raven, Lizzy, and Mark Lancaster each stepping into the spotlight for their own unforgettable summer story.
Filled with sun, sand, family connections, and plenty of romance, this boxed set is the perfect escape for readers who love summer love, rock stars, mistaken identities, second chances, age gaps, falling for the nanny, and rekindled flames.

This week’s Small Business Spotlight: Mis Amores
A one-of-a-kind coffee shop and romance bookstore created by Anya, an Afro-Latina founder from the Dominican Republic.
Located in Knoxville, Tennessee, Mis Amores is the city’s first Black-owned coffee shop that’s also a romance bookstore, built with the mission of creating a safe, welcoming space for the Latinx community, migrants, and all book lovers. It’s a place where cafecito meets storytelling, and where community and connection are at the heart of every visit.
What started as a desire to find belonging turned into something truly powerful. A space where people can gather, feel seen, and fall in love with books all over again.
