A Plain Answer: The Gospel for the Philippines and the Way to God - Pastor Al Baker

Today we talk with an Evangelist about a recent trip that he took to the Philippines. The Philippines consists of an archipelago of 7641 islands while the actual land mass is a bit larger than the state of Nevada. The population is 115 million people. English is one of several national languages. The vast majority of the people are nominal Roman Catholics. Our guest writes: We met five days, Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. or later. We spent the mornings instructing on various evangelism strategies, including use of the gospel tract written by Dr. Henry Krabbendam, “The Three Problems and Three Solutions.”" In the context of this evangelistic and church planting work, we discuss how the Lord works in our callings. Not all of us have the same callings and gifts. Romans 12:4-8 says: "For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; 8 he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness."
