From Educator to Entrepreneur: Marjorie Behm of SweatNet GR

*Watch on YouTube*

Marjorie Behm of SweatNet GR came on the show this week and we had a lot to talk about. Marjorie is a former educator and taught high school for over 10 years, coincidentally, at the same high school Vince went to. They both discuss their public school experiences, the effects of racism on education, and how socio-economics play into the success rate of students in traditional school settings before diving into Marjorie’s successful fitness membership program, SweatNet.

What you’ll hear in today’s episode:

• A deep, inside look into the issues of the American public school system through the experiences of Vince as a student, and Marjorie as a teacher
• How to make the shift from educator to entrepreneur
• Why role models are important when starting a business
• Pivoting during COVID and how businesses get creative to stay afloat
