WEBVTT
1
00:00:06.240 --> 00:00:17.000
Yes, Man and Soap the Podcast, a general hospital podcast.
2
00:00:19.719 --> 00:00:22.039
We're talking about our favorite city in upstate New York
3
00:00:22.079 --> 00:00:29.519
Port Charles baby Man, Michael. If July is sweeps month,
4
00:00:29.559 --> 00:00:33.320
we are in for a great month, That's all I
5
00:00:33.399 --> 00:00:36.039
gotta say. Because we thought there was gonna be a
6
00:00:36.039 --> 00:00:38.079
little bit of a letter and maybe there was this
7
00:00:38.159 --> 00:00:43.600
past week a little letdown, but not a lot. Yeah,
8
00:00:43.640 --> 00:00:45.759
like I thought, the hits kept coming. There was a
9
00:00:45.759 --> 00:00:51.000
lot of fallout, of course, you know, coming off of that,
10
00:00:51.159 --> 00:00:53.439
I mean, coming off of that massive week right where
11
00:00:53.439 --> 00:00:56.880
we broadcast live from the Metro Court.
12
00:00:57.119 --> 00:00:57.399
Cool.
13
00:00:57.520 --> 00:01:02.000
Look at Chase over there, Lucy. You see the way
14
00:01:02.039 --> 00:01:06.519
you just stared down Michael. Oh yeah, little bitch Chase
15
00:01:06.599 --> 00:01:10.920
is a bitch. Man It Soap the Podcast. Thanks so
16
00:01:11.000 --> 00:01:13.680
much for tuning in. I've been watching the soap for
17
00:01:13.680 --> 00:01:16.159
forty years. Started watching it with my mom. I am
18
00:01:16.200 --> 00:01:19.040
a diehard General hospital fanatic, and started with Sean, Donnelly
19
00:01:19.079 --> 00:01:23.439
and Luke and Laura as a little kid, Scorpio, Anna
20
00:01:23.799 --> 00:01:26.799
Duke Tiffany. So I go back. I've got the street
21
00:01:26.799 --> 00:01:29.200
Cred always wanted to do a podcast. I wish my
22
00:01:29.200 --> 00:01:31.079
mom was still around. She would love this podcast. I
23
00:01:31.079 --> 00:01:35.719
could hear it right now, Brenda cut your hair. But
24
00:01:35.799 --> 00:01:37.239
we have a lot of fun on this podcast. So
25
00:01:37.239 --> 00:01:38.640
we break it down with the good, the bad, the
26
00:01:38.719 --> 00:01:42.439
in between. Pretty simple stuff, right, we don't confuse it
27
00:01:42.560 --> 00:01:47.760
or make it complicated. Michael brought in this popcorn. Did
28
00:01:47.799 --> 00:01:51.200
you get it from the fifties peer fifty the vendor
29
00:01:51.239 --> 00:01:54.719
over there, yeah fifty Yeah, she's good, really good. It
30
00:01:54.799 --> 00:01:57.319
is it? Pure fifty seven? Yeah, that vendor. Yeah, you'd
31
00:01:57.400 --> 00:01:59.040
like her. You've been talking about this popcorn from Pure
32
00:01:59.079 --> 00:02:02.239
fifty seven. Tell how to lighten up on the button?
33
00:02:04.079 --> 00:02:04.519
You why it?
34
00:02:04.599 --> 00:02:04.840
Brother?
35
00:02:05.040 --> 00:02:07.000
So I told it more by that.
36
00:02:07.120 --> 00:02:08.680
Well, you know, and we enjoy the popcorn at the
37
00:02:08.680 --> 00:02:10.919
Brown Dog because they give you a whole free bolll
38
00:02:10.919 --> 00:02:13.120
You gotta absorb the Brown Dog booze. So you eat
39
00:02:13.120 --> 00:02:17.039
their popcorn at the Brown Dog right where I have
40
00:02:17.120 --> 00:02:20.000
not got eighty six yet, I've done well. Cody, on
41
00:02:20.039 --> 00:02:21.960
the other hand, do not go to the Brown Dog
42
00:02:21.960 --> 00:02:26.039
with Cody. I'm telling you right now, right yeah, he
43
00:02:26.080 --> 00:02:29.479
will out drink you all. I'll drink both of us. So,
44
00:02:30.000 --> 00:02:32.919
and we don't really break this podcast down episodically, but
45
00:02:33.159 --> 00:02:35.240
you know, sometimes you have to single some things out
46
00:02:35.280 --> 00:02:39.479
so I thought, Michael, this week was really good. I mean,
47
00:02:39.520 --> 00:02:42.719
we've got the return of Jason looming large. Anna's back,
48
00:02:43.240 --> 00:02:48.680
Drew is on his way. I feel towards a full recovery.
49
00:02:49.479 --> 00:02:52.800
I think it's happening sooner than later. He's he's building
50
00:02:52.879 --> 00:02:57.319
up that resistance to that paralytic whatever injections that they're
51
00:02:57.360 --> 00:02:59.479
giving him. Are they going to double down on him?
52
00:03:00.000 --> 00:03:00.960
Start? They're running out?
53
00:03:01.719 --> 00:03:04.759
Yeah, they are running out. And Brennan suggesting to Nina
54
00:03:04.840 --> 00:03:10.800
and and and and a Willow just kill him. I'm like, whoa.
55
00:03:12.960 --> 00:03:15.639
Stoneface like, or you can just kill him?
56
00:03:15.960 --> 00:03:20.199
Yeah, I gotta stop eating this popcorn. Yeah, there was
57
00:03:20.240 --> 00:03:21.560
a lot of good. Let's just start with some of
58
00:03:21.599 --> 00:03:24.400
the good this week, because I have a lot of bad. Honestly,
59
00:03:25.400 --> 00:03:28.400
I thought some of the good stuff to me the
60
00:03:28.479 --> 00:03:32.759
highlight of the week. I love Valentine coming out of
61
00:03:32.759 --> 00:03:36.159
the car they pandy his shoes, we don't know it's
62
00:03:36.240 --> 00:03:39.199
him yet, and Carly running to him. I thought that
63
00:03:39.240 --> 00:03:41.360
was a great scene this week. That was one of
64
00:03:41.400 --> 00:03:44.000
the best scenes I've seen in a long time. I
65
00:03:44.000 --> 00:03:45.719
thought that was a really good scene. Them kissing and
66
00:03:45.759 --> 00:03:48.159
making out and stuff. They have great chemistry.
67
00:03:48.520 --> 00:03:50.199
I give him six months.
68
00:03:50.520 --> 00:03:51.960
Yeah, you think they're gonna burn out?
69
00:03:52.039 --> 00:03:54.840
Huh oh, yeah, No, I'm pretty sure.
70
00:03:56.400 --> 00:04:00.919
Joscelent or well Joss kind of Valentine had a moment though, Yeah, but.
71
00:04:01.439 --> 00:04:05.120
He knows Jocelyn, she's gonna just turn on a dime.
72
00:04:09.000 --> 00:04:10.120
You're spelling everywhere.
73
00:04:10.120 --> 00:04:14.159
Oh, I know this best. Well here's my thing too. Though.
74
00:04:14.879 --> 00:04:16.639
I like that Valentine went to see her in the
75
00:04:16.639 --> 00:04:18.639
hospital and she said, you know, and he knows that
76
00:04:18.839 --> 00:04:20.600
he she kind of helped him out and bailed him out.
77
00:04:21.240 --> 00:04:23.079
I thought that was a really good scene. I thought
78
00:04:23.120 --> 00:04:25.560
Joss had a lot of great scenes this week. We
79
00:04:25.600 --> 00:04:27.319
got we got a little Vaughn earlier in the week,
80
00:04:27.639 --> 00:04:29.839
and that was it. My guy Vonn gone one and done.
81
00:04:29.839 --> 00:04:32.759
Beautiful head of hair, that hunk, he's gone, hunky Vaughan
82
00:04:32.839 --> 00:04:35.360
as my mom would call him. Oh is that don gone?
83
00:04:36.240 --> 00:04:36.439
Yeah?
84
00:04:36.519 --> 00:04:38.319
But I know when he walked in the hospital room, Hello,
85
00:04:38.439 --> 00:04:41.319
how's my wife? And I was like, dope, that's my
86
00:04:41.439 --> 00:04:42.120
guide right there.
87
00:04:42.360 --> 00:04:48.000
But also it's like that chemistry, like it's not there anymore.
88
00:04:48.279 --> 00:04:49.040
It seems like it.
89
00:04:49.120 --> 00:04:55.879
Was the Poppies, but it's not the Five Poppies anymore. No,
90
00:04:55.920 --> 00:04:57.480
it's Joss in the hospital bed, and she had a
91
00:04:57.519 --> 00:04:59.360
lot of good scenes and feel like she's got like
92
00:05:00.920 --> 00:05:03.120
like she's coming to her own and a lot of
93
00:05:03.160 --> 00:05:04.800
good A lot of good with Josh this week. I
94
00:05:04.800 --> 00:05:07.160
love Josh telling Carly I love this life. I'm not
95
00:05:07.279 --> 00:05:09.360
leaving it. And I love that. And I called that.
96
00:05:09.519 --> 00:05:11.560
I'm glad that the writers. I said it would be
97
00:05:11.600 --> 00:05:14.319
a disaster if she does not stay in the WSB.
98
00:05:14.920 --> 00:05:16.879
And sure enough, I know the writers listen to this show.
99
00:05:17.920 --> 00:05:20.399
They listen. I mean she's telling her mom, I'm staying what.
100
00:05:23.199 --> 00:05:26.519
Yeah, well, she needs to be in the WSB.
101
00:05:26.680 --> 00:05:28.240
She doesn't mean to hanging out with Kai and Trina
102
00:05:34.399 --> 00:05:38.920
Kai eating the bitch sandwich on the rig. Uh So, yeah,
103
00:05:38.959 --> 00:05:43.000
good scenes with Joss this week. Anna back. Anna kind
104
00:05:43.000 --> 00:05:45.600
of has that she's looking like her grandma, Like she
105
00:05:45.639 --> 00:05:49.480
looks like grandma Manda. Now, yeah, she's matured into a
106
00:05:49.480 --> 00:05:50.079
beautiful woman.
107
00:05:50.079 --> 00:05:53.560
Of course. August West in her head, Oh my god.
108
00:05:53.600 --> 00:05:59.600
The worst. Why they bring back that guy to Ruin.
109
00:06:00.399 --> 00:06:03.519
If there's gonna be a ghost, I'd rather be I
110
00:06:03.639 --> 00:06:06.439
I'd rather it be somebody other than Peter August the
111
00:06:06.480 --> 00:06:11.480
worst actor on the planet. Oh Andy, Andy, He's horrible.
112
00:06:13.399 --> 00:06:17.319
He's horrible. It's good to see Anna back. I thought
113
00:06:17.360 --> 00:06:19.720
it was a good scene Valentine's showing up the end
114
00:06:19.759 --> 00:06:23.879
of Friday's episode knocking on the door, and they gave
115
00:06:23.879 --> 00:06:25.360
each other a very It wasn't awkward. It was a
116
00:06:25.399 --> 00:06:26.279
very nice smile.
117
00:06:26.360 --> 00:06:27.480
And yeah, I thought.
118
00:06:27.279 --> 00:06:31.199
That was really good. And I think Valentine went to
119
00:06:31.240 --> 00:06:33.680
Anna because of Joss's instructions, says, I need to do
120
00:06:33.759 --> 00:06:36.120
me a favor, go see Anna.
121
00:06:36.319 --> 00:06:41.199
Oh yeah, I really forgot about that, right, I remember,
122
00:06:41.879 --> 00:06:43.240
Oh Brick going to Anna.
123
00:06:43.319 --> 00:06:45.439
Oh, Brick and Anna were great. Oh Breck looking at
124
00:06:45.480 --> 00:06:49.240
maybe that they're looking to team up. Possibly, what was it?
125
00:06:49.439 --> 00:06:50.120
Why was it for?
126
00:06:50.319 --> 00:06:54.480
Why? I don't remember? Anna needs her to help her too,
127
00:06:54.600 --> 00:06:57.000
Like they were going through the diagram of the room
128
00:06:57.199 --> 00:07:00.399
and those I do love I have it on my sure.
129
00:07:00.639 --> 00:07:04.920
I do love the scenes though. I do love the
130
00:07:05.000 --> 00:07:11.240
scenes with Anna and Obrek, right, yeah, I do love
131
00:07:11.360 --> 00:07:13.759
the scenes there. So there was a lot of good
132
00:07:13.800 --> 00:07:17.120
I think Valentine looked really good, A lot of good stuff.
133
00:07:17.560 --> 00:07:21.480
There was a really How about Britt finding out she
134
00:07:21.720 --> 00:07:25.600
no longer has Huntington, Yeah she never had it, I
135
00:07:25.600 --> 00:07:26.959
mean she never had it, and her and Lucas have
136
00:07:27.040 --> 00:07:29.120
this really good friendship ruling. I like, I like the
137
00:07:29.160 --> 00:07:31.720
scenes with him.
138
00:07:31.759 --> 00:07:37.319
Just oh, Rick finding Lucas on the con that was hilarious.
139
00:07:37.360 --> 00:07:40.519
Elizabeth like, he'll get over it. That was great. But
140
00:07:40.560 --> 00:07:42.240
Britt is not dying.
141
00:07:46.360 --> 00:07:52.360
Yeah, so can she be turning to gage the hospital?
142
00:07:52.439 --> 00:07:55.079
Yeah, I'm sure she can. Maybe they'll put her in
143
00:07:55.120 --> 00:07:56.000
the big role too. Now.
144
00:07:57.519 --> 00:08:03.600
Even though she uh partically kidnapped minor.
145
00:08:03.360 --> 00:08:05.519
I don't think she kidnapped him. I don't think there's
146
00:08:05.560 --> 00:08:07.600
I don't think anything's gonna come out of that. I really,
147
00:08:07.639 --> 00:08:10.519
I really really don't. And Fitzpatrick released her, which I
148
00:08:10.519 --> 00:08:14.639
thought was very cool. Oh remember now he released her.
149
00:08:14.720 --> 00:08:20.879
Yeah, but no it it might be that Lulu gang
150
00:08:20.959 --> 00:08:22.079
in Carly's face.
151
00:08:22.560 --> 00:08:24.040
Oh, we're gonna get into Lulu.
152
00:08:24.560 --> 00:08:26.079
Oh oh.
153
00:08:26.120 --> 00:08:28.879
I got a lot of bad a lot of good
154
00:08:28.879 --> 00:08:33.679
though this week, A lot of great scenes with Brennan, Brennan, Nina,
155
00:08:33.919 --> 00:08:38.480
and Willow in a weird we're all in this together
156
00:08:38.559 --> 00:08:42.519
type of vibe after one tried to I mean, it's weird,
157
00:08:42.559 --> 00:08:46.159
but I I'm I'm glad that Brennan is healthier, and
158
00:08:46.200 --> 00:08:48.600
I'm glad that we get more Brennan. I do want
159
00:08:48.639 --> 00:08:51.440
more Drew as well. I'm hoping that we get that.
160
00:08:52.279 --> 00:08:54.720
I'm dying to see how this week unfolds. With Jason
161
00:08:54.759 --> 00:08:57.799
coming back. There's gonna be a lot of drama this week.
162
00:08:58.039 --> 00:08:59.679
I mean, General Hospital knows how to do it during
163
00:08:59.679 --> 00:09:01.759
sleep month. Now what a wrap it to the nurse's ball?
164
00:09:01.759 --> 00:09:03.720
Did we ever get it? What happened to it? Did
165
00:09:03.720 --> 00:09:04.080
we have it?
166
00:09:04.240 --> 00:09:07.120
I think it's in August?
167
00:09:07.559 --> 00:09:12.639
Okay, in August? Yeah, yeah, it's back in August. Okay,
168
00:09:12.679 --> 00:09:14.879
So I was wondering. Usually it was in April.
169
00:09:15.440 --> 00:09:18.639
But I could I could be wrong. I'm I'm just guessing. Yeah,
170
00:09:18.960 --> 00:09:22.720
just taking a wild guess. Maybe it's gonna because.
171
00:09:23.759 --> 00:09:25.639
Now I want to do something with you today. I'm
172
00:09:25.639 --> 00:09:27.200
gonna call it. I ripped it off from a fantasy
173
00:09:27.240 --> 00:09:30.039
football show. We're gonna go stock up, stalk down. I'm
174
00:09:30.039 --> 00:09:32.840
gonna ans some characters and I'm gonna say stock up,
175
00:09:32.879 --> 00:09:33.960
stock down, and you tell me what.
176
00:09:33.919 --> 00:09:35.559
You think, Okay, and we'll do that.
177
00:09:35.559 --> 00:09:36.960
In a little bit. I'm excited about it, and I got
178
00:09:36.960 --> 00:09:41.639
some good characters. There was some outstanding scenes this week,
179
00:09:42.399 --> 00:09:46.960
mainly with a great an old warm blanket. I thought
180
00:09:46.960 --> 00:09:49.120
she had a phenomenal week this week, and it was
181
00:09:49.159 --> 00:09:51.679
good to see her back, conniving as always. I think
182
00:09:51.720 --> 00:09:53.840
you might have an idea of who I'm talking about.
183
00:09:53.879 --> 00:09:58.440
More good Elizabeth, Elizabeth doing a little PI work, figuring
184
00:09:58.519 --> 00:10:02.320
it out, going the house going, something doesn't add up
185
00:10:02.320 --> 00:10:06.120
here with all these strokes and Nina and Willow freaking
186
00:10:06.279 --> 00:10:13.120
the phone. Yeah, something doesn't want to move that popworn Yeah,
187
00:10:13.440 --> 00:10:18.080
no more per fifty seven for you. Something doesn't add
188
00:10:18.159 --> 00:10:20.600
up and she's onto it now. Yeah, she has figured
189
00:10:20.639 --> 00:10:23.240
it out. She has figured it out. Jack and his
190
00:10:23.320 --> 00:10:26.519
speedy recovery over it turning woods. Well, maybe the problem
191
00:10:26.600 --> 00:10:29.720
is in the house and Nina and will were freaking
192
00:10:29.759 --> 00:10:34.240
out that whole scene by the way, right freaking out.
193
00:10:34.360 --> 00:10:40.000
It can't wait until I really want him to recover.
194
00:10:42.080 --> 00:10:48.879
Oh yeah, he's moving more well before before a Willow
195
00:10:49.000 --> 00:10:52.320
gets the black box right or they find the black
196
00:10:52.320 --> 00:10:54.799
box right right right right right right right right right.
197
00:10:55.320 --> 00:10:55.480
You know.
198
00:10:55.639 --> 00:10:58.480
Either way, he knows that they're trying to find it
199
00:10:58.759 --> 00:11:01.960
because they just all of the plants in front of him,
200
00:11:02.000 --> 00:11:04.120
as like he can't hear anything.
201
00:11:04.240 --> 00:11:09.000
No, I know it's true. How about more good Ethan
202
00:11:09.120 --> 00:11:12.519
and Ava flirting at the Metro court. Fool I love
203
00:11:12.600 --> 00:11:14.759
him going, well, maybe you just wanted to look at
204
00:11:14.799 --> 00:11:17.759
my divery air. And he made some funny jokes about
205
00:11:17.759 --> 00:11:20.240
his butt being shot and Ava just coppying a. Look.
206
00:11:20.559 --> 00:11:23.960
They have fun chemistry. You know they're gonna bounceingka bow
207
00:11:24.159 --> 00:11:28.200
wow all summer long because Ava loves herself to young
208
00:11:28.240 --> 00:11:31.840
men and Ethan's a stud. That chemistry is in full
209
00:11:31.840 --> 00:11:34.240
on effect. I love when she poured the drink over him.
210
00:11:34.279 --> 00:11:39.320
It was hilarious. Uh, Nathan, by the way, stock up,
211
00:11:40.320 --> 00:11:43.519
stalk up and soaring for me? What do you think
212
00:11:43.559 --> 00:11:49.600
about Nathan Nathan or Ethan? Nathan? Ethan same thing? Ethan
213
00:11:49.919 --> 00:11:52.399
stock up? Did I say Nathan the whole time?
214
00:11:52.440 --> 00:11:52.679
Yes?
215
00:11:52.679 --> 00:11:54.480
Oh you know, sorry, You're probably going, what the heck
216
00:11:54.559 --> 00:11:58.320
is he talking about? It's Nathan, Okay, I know I'm
217
00:11:58.360 --> 00:12:01.759
an idiot. Ethan and A. I love their chemistry. Ethan
218
00:12:01.840 --> 00:12:06.799
stock is shooting up, he's funny, he's quick, winning his character.
219
00:12:07.200 --> 00:12:09.759
I do miss Nathan, but Nathan's stock down, he's dead,
220
00:12:10.080 --> 00:12:17.600
so Ethan stock up. I guess Ethan and A have
221
00:12:17.639 --> 00:12:19.159
got great chemistry. You don't see it.
222
00:12:19.600 --> 00:12:23.039
I mean they got boring, so I just let that run.
223
00:12:23.279 --> 00:12:25.320
I guess Nathan and would have go chemistry too.
224
00:12:25.440 --> 00:12:29.720
I just did stuff in the background Ethan Ethan, Ethan
225
00:12:30.039 --> 00:12:31.080
and not Nathan.
226
00:12:31.159 --> 00:12:34.320
That's funny. And this, of course was the week now
227
00:12:34.320 --> 00:12:36.960
if you want to do this is the week we
228
00:12:37.080 --> 00:12:39.399
got back to our little and I'm gonna go into
229
00:12:39.440 --> 00:12:44.000
some bad right now where we now have the assault
230
00:12:44.080 --> 00:12:50.320
charges against Isaiah on the forefront bad. We now have
231
00:12:50.679 --> 00:12:55.440
the the worst storyline in General Hospital in thirty years.
232
00:12:55.519 --> 00:12:59.639
The car crash really bad and we have to read
233
00:12:59.679 --> 00:13:02.519
we had to revisit a strong dose of that. The
234
00:13:02.559 --> 00:13:05.960
only good that came out of that was Martin coming back.
235
00:13:06.440 --> 00:13:13.279
You know, I heard the rumor that the actor who
236
00:13:13.360 --> 00:13:16.399
plays Curtis, he's the one that pits the whole story.
237
00:13:18.679 --> 00:13:22.919
Stupidest story ever. It's lingering which one the Isaiah story
238
00:13:22.919 --> 00:13:23.360
of the car.
239
00:13:23.200 --> 00:13:27.360
Crash O the car crash if with Isaiah.
240
00:13:27.440 --> 00:13:29.679
Yeah, it's the worst storyline. And you go on the
241
00:13:29.720 --> 00:13:32.320
chatboards and people are irate about it. Oh yeah, people
242
00:13:32.320 --> 00:13:34.000
are I right about this, Like we have to deal
243
00:13:34.000 --> 00:13:36.120
with this shit again, coming off a banger week the
244
00:13:36.159 --> 00:13:41.279
week before and now we're back. Now we're back stock
245
00:13:41.639 --> 00:13:47.399
down once again, Chase stock down, Oh my god. Every
246
00:13:47.639 --> 00:13:52.120
scene this week with Chase was cringe. I went on Facebook.
247
00:13:52.120 --> 00:13:54.399
There's a general hospital spot, I said, in all the
248
00:13:54.480 --> 00:13:58.519
years I've been watching, Chase is the weakest man in
249
00:13:58.600 --> 00:14:03.279
the history of port chorals, he continues to be a bitch.
250
00:14:03.759 --> 00:14:05.919
He eats that bitch sandwich. What do you have for lunch?
251
00:14:05.919 --> 00:14:08.480
I'll have a bitch sandwich please. That's what Chase is
252
00:14:08.519 --> 00:14:11.320
eating every day. Every scene was Will and Will and
253
00:14:11.360 --> 00:14:13.679
Will and Will on Will look at look at Michael
254
00:14:13.679 --> 00:14:15.960
going and I bet he's blackmailing her going over to Lucy.
255
00:14:16.080 --> 00:14:18.679
What'd you do with Will? He does more off duty
256
00:14:18.720 --> 00:14:20.360
as a cop than he does as a cop.
257
00:14:22.200 --> 00:14:22.759
That's true.
258
00:14:23.399 --> 00:14:26.039
He does more PI work off duty cop.
259
00:14:26.960 --> 00:14:29.120
Think he like when he got the melody, was like
260
00:14:29.759 --> 00:14:33.360
I could or someone I can't remember if he had
261
00:14:33.679 --> 00:14:36.600
idea or someone told him that do you have Like
262
00:14:36.639 --> 00:14:39.279
what why don't you just be a the p.
263
00:14:39.360 --> 00:14:42.240
I yeah, private investigator.
264
00:14:42.240 --> 00:14:46.159
Then he was like, oh, well, like my services are
265
00:14:46.279 --> 00:14:51.519
better used withut the police instept being okay, yeah, just bad.
266
00:14:52.399 --> 00:14:55.639
I mean, write him, get him out of there. I
267
00:14:55.679 --> 00:14:58.279
mean again, I'm saying this for a year. You can
268
00:14:58.320 --> 00:15:01.960
get rid of Chase. You can get rid Brooklyn. You're
269
00:15:02.000 --> 00:15:04.840
not put them on the Portchaw's Express, get them out
270
00:15:04.919 --> 00:15:09.960
of here. They do nothing for the show. Brooklyn was
271
00:15:10.000 --> 00:15:14.960
tied to her mother Lois. Okay, Brooklyn and Chase are
272
00:15:14.960 --> 00:15:18.200
not a power couple. He's a bitch. He or he
273
00:15:18.279 --> 00:15:21.360
and Willow should leave town like there's a there's a
274
00:15:21.440 --> 00:15:23.480
lot of people. Curtis are starting to climb up there
275
00:15:23.480 --> 00:15:25.759
for me as well. But just a real bad week
276
00:15:25.799 --> 00:15:28.320
for for for Chase, Like I don't know what the
277
00:15:28.360 --> 00:15:30.279
writers like, are they trying to make him the most
278
00:15:30.320 --> 00:15:33.200
hateable character on the show. Let me go after my
279
00:15:33.279 --> 00:15:35.320
wife that cheated on me with my best friend, and
280
00:15:35.399 --> 00:15:38.120
let me still defended of the day I die? Why
281
00:15:38.159 --> 00:15:41.679
because I eat a bitch sandwich? Like, shut up, Chase,
282
00:15:42.879 --> 00:15:44.600
shut up. I want to smack him if I ever
283
00:15:44.600 --> 00:15:48.480
assume I mean, he'll probably kick my butt. But he
284
00:15:48.600 --> 00:15:49.759
is such a weak man.
285
00:15:51.320 --> 00:15:55.759
I really want to, like stop Brooklyn.
286
00:15:56.120 --> 00:15:59.480
She should have, but then she confessed to framing Willow,
287
00:16:00.039 --> 00:16:02.080
and of course Chase is gonna be judgemental. All that's
288
00:16:02.080 --> 00:16:05.039
gonna do is drive Chase closer to Willow. That's all
289
00:16:05.080 --> 00:16:08.360
that's gonna do. More bad. I thought it was funny.
290
00:16:08.720 --> 00:16:11.240
I thought it was a very bad week for Dante
291
00:16:11.320 --> 00:16:16.840
and Lulu as parents. I love Valentine getting exonerated. I
292
00:16:16.960 --> 00:16:21.720
love Britt coming back, Rocco loving Britt, I love it.
293
00:16:22.200 --> 00:16:24.720
I think Dante and Lulu are the most judgmental parents.
294
00:16:24.799 --> 00:16:27.440
Look at I'm not a parent, but they are. They
295
00:16:27.440 --> 00:16:31.879
are weak ass parents like they and between both of them,
296
00:16:31.919 --> 00:16:36.360
there's no personality. Go buy a personality, both of you.
297
00:16:36.639 --> 00:16:40.279
There's nothing there between them. Dante is judgmental, high on
298
00:16:40.360 --> 00:16:42.480
his mighty, on his right, He's high on that horse
299
00:16:42.519 --> 00:16:45.399
of high horse is. It's ridiculous. And I love that
300
00:16:45.519 --> 00:16:48.559
Valentine got exonerated. I love that he and him and
301
00:16:48.600 --> 00:16:50.759
Carly were making out right in front of Lulu. I
302
00:16:50.799 --> 00:16:53.000
love that Roco's back, and I love they loves Britt
303
00:16:53.039 --> 00:16:55.519
more than he loves his parents, because his parents are assholes,
304
00:16:55.919 --> 00:16:57.960
like Dante and Lulu are assholes. If I had to
305
00:16:57.960 --> 00:17:00.440
say it, they're not, they don't. They're They're very stubborn.
306
00:17:00.480 --> 00:17:04.240
They think they know everything. They they if anything, they
307
00:17:04.240 --> 00:17:09.599
should be in debt to brit for keeping Rocco out
308
00:17:09.759 --> 00:17:14.799
of Column's dangerous lane. She took him. He loved Rocco
309
00:17:14.880 --> 00:17:19.039
loves Britt. Bad week for Dante and Lulu, the walls
310
00:17:19.039 --> 00:17:19.759
are closing in.
311
00:17:19.720 --> 00:17:26.119
On them, and I was saying, like Lulu confronting Carly.
312
00:17:26.720 --> 00:17:30.880
Yep, Lulu, Lulu bad, back to her, nasty Lulu again,
313
00:17:30.920 --> 00:17:34.400
the red face, vindictive like I'm over it, you know
314
00:17:34.440 --> 00:17:34.599
what I.
315
00:17:34.640 --> 00:17:39.799
Mean, the high pitched I'm mad. I'm not gonna show
316
00:17:39.880 --> 00:17:44.599
you how I'm mad, and just raise my voice.
317
00:17:44.799 --> 00:17:48.200
Yeah, yeah, just a lot of bad for Dante, Lulu
318
00:17:48.240 --> 00:17:51.839
and Chase, really really bad. It was a really bad
319
00:17:51.880 --> 00:18:03.119
week for them. There was some really good There was
320
00:18:03.160 --> 00:18:06.720
some really good one line back and again Cassius, which
321
00:18:06.720 --> 00:18:08.519
I called last week would be in the hands in
322
00:18:08.599 --> 00:18:11.519
the WSB, so we knew that was gonna happen, right,
323
00:18:11.920 --> 00:18:20.160
That was really not difficult to predict. Uh. In between stuff,
324
00:18:20.279 --> 00:18:23.440
I want to love Sonny and eighty A Turner together.
325
00:18:23.519 --> 00:18:25.200
I called for it a year and a half ago,
326
00:18:27.240 --> 00:18:29.920
but and I called it because I know this so
327
00:18:30.000 --> 00:18:36.839
better than anybody. I it's falling flat for me, and
328
00:18:36.839 --> 00:18:39.759
I don't know why. I don't know what it is
329
00:18:40.599 --> 00:18:42.559
with them, Like I like when they kissed after he
330
00:18:42.599 --> 00:18:44.559
saved your life and all that, and they kissed again
331
00:18:44.599 --> 00:18:46.440
this week and they're trying not to say it. I
332
00:18:46.440 --> 00:18:48.119
don't know if I'm buying into the love story as
333
00:18:48.160 --> 00:18:51.400
much as I want to, Like, I really want to
334
00:18:51.440 --> 00:18:56.039
be invested in eighty eight Turner and Sonny, but just
335
00:18:56.079 --> 00:18:58.400
fall it falls flat for me. And I don't know
336
00:18:58.440 --> 00:19:00.720
why not the age difference, it's not even an issue
337
00:19:00.720 --> 00:19:03.240
on this. I don't know. Hospital Yeah, but is it
338
00:19:03.319 --> 00:19:05.160
falling flat? Or am I the only one? Because remember
339
00:19:05.200 --> 00:19:07.759
I wanted it more than anybody.
340
00:19:07.920 --> 00:19:09.759
I think you're just wying it too much?
341
00:19:10.680 --> 00:19:10.759
Me?
342
00:19:11.319 --> 00:19:13.160
Yeah, what does that even mean? I think he wanted
343
00:19:13.160 --> 00:19:14.079
it too much.
344
00:19:13.880 --> 00:19:15.799
And I willed it in. They wrote it in because
345
00:19:15.839 --> 00:19:16.680
they listened to the.
346
00:19:16.640 --> 00:19:20.920
Podcast Whos That Happen? You're like, this is what it's not.
347
00:19:21.039 --> 00:19:22.880
It's not it's not what I envisioned. I mean it,
348
00:19:22.880 --> 00:19:25.480
look at it's not. It's not a train wreck. It's
349
00:19:25.519 --> 00:19:28.960
just not moving me. Like Valentine and Carly have really
350
00:19:28.960 --> 00:19:33.119
good chemistry, Like when they're together, it's really really good chemistry,
351
00:19:33.200 --> 00:19:36.599
even even Cody and Molly. I don't know about Sonny
352
00:19:36.599 --> 00:19:40.160
and eighty eight Turners. So far, the romance has fallen
353
00:19:40.240 --> 00:19:43.240
flat for me. I thought there were really good one
354
00:19:43.359 --> 00:19:52.839
liners this week. What was Willow and Nina When Willow goes,
355
00:19:53.359 --> 00:19:55.880
we're not murderers, and Jack go says the wife that
356
00:19:55.920 --> 00:19:58.079
put two in the back of her husband. Oh god,
357
00:19:58.240 --> 00:20:00.920
that that was a great line. That was a great
358
00:20:01.039 --> 00:20:04.839
one liner from Jack. Right, says the wife who put
359
00:20:04.880 --> 00:20:07.519
two in the back of her husband. I thought Tracy
360
00:20:07.519 --> 00:20:09.519
had a great one liner with Willow. Well, you know
361
00:20:10.960 --> 00:20:14.480
about being in a cult. I remember she said something like, well,
362
00:20:14.519 --> 00:20:16.039
you'd be a great candidate with your.
363
00:20:16.480 --> 00:20:20.759
No used to go back. You would be a good leader.
364
00:20:20.920 --> 00:20:23.440
Yeah, you'd be a yeah, based on your cult experience. Yeah,
365
00:20:23.440 --> 00:20:31.960
there was some funny ones. Yeah, absolutely. The moss. Mossy
366
00:20:32.160 --> 00:20:36.079
is officially gone. They recasted the moss, which was a
367
00:20:36.079 --> 00:20:39.640
bummer because if you remember the old moss that used
368
00:20:39.640 --> 00:20:42.920
to be on the kitchen table, they've replaced it now,
369
00:20:43.759 --> 00:20:46.640
which is now it looks like a bad salad. So
370
00:20:47.039 --> 00:20:49.880
people are talking about mossy. MOSSI has its own page
371
00:20:50.400 --> 00:20:53.920
on Instagram and Reddit. People remember this bowl of moss
372
00:20:54.000 --> 00:20:57.279
is very popular in Carly's kitchen, Like, this is a
373
00:20:57.319 --> 00:20:58.440
big freaking deal.
374
00:20:58.480 --> 00:21:02.200
I'm gonna say something. I never noticed that until you
375
00:21:02.240 --> 00:21:02.759
said something.
376
00:21:03.039 --> 00:21:06.559
Remember I remember them bringing this up though you've never
377
00:21:06.720 --> 00:21:07.480
noticed the bowl.
378
00:21:07.599 --> 00:21:12.079
Also, when I work with hockey players. And one of
379
00:21:11.559 --> 00:21:14.279
the names or the names is Mossy.
380
00:21:14.559 --> 00:21:20.880
Okay, yeah, okay, so like, oh, if you mentioned moss,
381
00:21:20.920 --> 00:21:24.759
I'm like, it's some guy. Yeah. Well they replace moss Now,
382
00:21:25.759 --> 00:21:28.920
Mossy is gone, the shrub is gone. It's a new
383
00:21:29.000 --> 00:21:32.200
plant in a smaller bowl, and people are irate about it.
384
00:21:32.400 --> 00:21:36.440
They want the original moss back. GH's doing a lot
385
00:21:36.440 --> 00:21:40.319
of recasting. You know, it's bad when you're recasting the moss.
386
00:21:39.359 --> 00:21:42.799
True, right, you know it sweeps a month, right, and
387
00:21:42.960 --> 00:21:44.839
the moss that's.
388
00:21:45.759 --> 00:21:48.240
And here's something I thought was interesting too. And I
389
00:21:48.240 --> 00:21:49.759
thought that it was we continue with some of the
390
00:21:49.759 --> 00:21:54.000
in between and the banter. Stock up for me, stock
391
00:21:54.160 --> 00:21:56.680
up Valentine for sure, Like I think his scenes were
392
00:21:56.680 --> 00:21:58.480
great this week. I love his stock It's it's clearly
393
00:21:58.480 --> 00:22:02.920
on the up. I thought when Carly ran to him
394
00:22:03.519 --> 00:22:05.920
outside of General Hospital, and it was weird to see
395
00:22:05.920 --> 00:22:08.680
her hugging him and running with Sonny in the background.
396
00:22:09.400 --> 00:22:12.400
Normally I picture her running to Sonny right like over
397
00:22:12.440 --> 00:22:14.759
the years to say, it was very interesting. It was
398
00:22:14.759 --> 00:22:16.880
a ship, it was a change of the guard. It
399
00:22:16.960 --> 00:22:19.839
was very weird to see her embracing Valentine and just
400
00:22:19.880 --> 00:22:23.319
Sonny looking it was really weird. I thought Sonny had
401
00:22:23.359 --> 00:22:26.079
a meh week as well. I thought Sonny. I thought
402
00:22:26.160 --> 00:22:29.519
Valentine owned Sonny this week. In the scene, Sonny is
403
00:22:29.559 --> 00:22:32.640
getting soft and someone's got to say it. I'll say,
404
00:22:32.720 --> 00:22:35.119
he's just getting soft and him going Carly, this is
405
00:22:35.119 --> 00:22:41.920
the worst decision you've ever made. Hello, Wait a minute, what? Who? What? Wait?
406
00:22:42.039 --> 00:22:45.720
And I love Sonny's my guy, Sonny, You're getting soft,
407
00:22:45.839 --> 00:22:50.759
tough and up like unbelievable, I thought. Sonny looked petty,
408
00:22:51.279 --> 00:22:53.319
and he looked a little soft approaching his ex wife
409
00:22:53.680 --> 00:23:00.319
all it came off very whiny and yeah, like what
410
00:23:00.480 --> 00:23:02.880
do you see in him? He asked carl A, And
411
00:23:02.960 --> 00:23:05.519
Valentine goes, well, I make great cokeover I'm like, oh
412
00:23:05.559 --> 00:23:08.920
my god, there it was talking about his cooking. Valentine
413
00:23:09.000 --> 00:23:11.680
owns Sonny. In that scene. You saw a shift there,
414
00:23:11.839 --> 00:23:13.960
you saw a changing of the power. Tommy, Sonny is
415
00:23:13.960 --> 00:23:17.279
starting to get a little week now. To be fair,
416
00:23:17.319 --> 00:23:19.319
he's lost his right hand man, Jason is coming back.
417
00:23:19.960 --> 00:23:21.640
So we'll see if it's gonna get if they're gonna
418
00:23:21.640 --> 00:23:23.079
get tough, if they're gonna get on. Because what I'm
419
00:23:23.119 --> 00:23:25.640
hearing is Jason might be WSB or something. It's gonna
420
00:23:25.640 --> 00:23:28.480
get very interesting. If they've recruited Jason in the WSB,
421
00:23:28.960 --> 00:23:31.200
his relationship with Sonny could change forever.
422
00:23:33.920 --> 00:23:42.359
That's yeah, that's true, right, House House Rock. Danny gonna
423
00:23:42.440 --> 00:23:46.720
take that if he gets into ws I don't know.
424
00:23:47.039 --> 00:23:49.799
I know, I thought the same thing. I don't know.
425
00:23:49.920 --> 00:23:51.480
Danny's had some good scenes too, by the.
426
00:23:51.480 --> 00:23:52.920
Way, he's so annoying.
427
00:23:53.200 --> 00:23:54.799
Do you think Danny's annoying.
428
00:23:55.240 --> 00:23:58.559
My dad, my dad, my dad, my dad, my dad.
429
00:23:58.559 --> 00:23:59.519
He loves his dad.
430
00:24:01.039 --> 00:24:05.599
Yeah. I'm gonna also betray Rocco and how.
431
00:24:05.960 --> 00:24:08.839
That one was a tough one.
432
00:24:09.119 --> 00:24:17.599
But right, well he I don't know. They're there, their friendship,
433
00:24:17.680 --> 00:24:23.119
their brother ship where what you call it. But that's
434
00:24:23.200 --> 00:24:26.519
that's that's so damage. Yeah, that's not gonna come back.
435
00:24:28.400 --> 00:24:30.240
And I hope in the future we'll get more Z.
436
00:24:32.559 --> 00:24:34.440
And I think we will. I mean, if agains Stephen A.
437
00:24:34.480 --> 00:24:37.079
Smith's brick, we're gonna get John John Oliver. Yeah, as
438
00:24:37.200 --> 00:24:43.440
Z to me, you know what I mean, that makes sense, right.
439
00:24:43.599 --> 00:24:47.880
I mean, they didn't kill him off, so right, exactly exactly,
440
00:24:47.920 --> 00:24:49.720
they did not know and he actually his scenes were
441
00:24:49.839 --> 00:24:51.839
very good, by the way, yeah, I thought his scenes
442
00:24:51.839 --> 00:24:52.640
were great, didn't you.
443
00:24:52.799 --> 00:24:56.200
I mean, I really did so. I mean, we got
444
00:24:56.200 --> 00:24:59.799
a lot to look forward to. This week, it sweeps month,
445
00:25:00.160 --> 00:25:03.920
Jason's back. It's gonna be really good. I don't think
446
00:25:04.039 --> 00:25:06.839
last week, if I had to, if I had to
447
00:25:06.880 --> 00:25:09.799
grade it, it wasn't the letdown that I thought it
448
00:25:09.880 --> 00:25:11.319
was gonna be. I thought there were still some really
449
00:25:11.359 --> 00:25:14.599
good scenes. And gch has to put their foot on
450
00:25:14.640 --> 00:25:15.640
the gas for the month of July.
451
00:25:17.799 --> 00:25:20.880
Yeah, but then what's gonna come in August?
452
00:25:20.960 --> 00:25:25.440
I don't know. But right now, right now, it's good,
453
00:25:25.480 --> 00:25:27.160
and I gotta say something. The writers are on their
454
00:25:27.200 --> 00:25:30.000
a game right now. Yeah, like you know me. I mean,
455
00:25:30.119 --> 00:25:32.599
I'm the first to shit on them, but I'll also
456
00:25:32.759 --> 00:25:34.799
be the first to give them props. And they were
457
00:25:34.799 --> 00:25:37.599
great this week. Storylines have been great. The one liners
458
00:25:37.599 --> 00:25:40.279
have been daggers. It was a very good week.
459
00:25:40.400 --> 00:25:46.960
Someone probably gave them boneses what someone probably gave him bones?
460
00:25:47.079 --> 00:25:50.079
Yeah? Maybe, But they need to attack every episode like that.
461
00:25:50.119 --> 00:25:52.440
Imagine if every episode every week like the weeks we've
462
00:25:52.480 --> 00:25:55.559
been getting it would be it would be tremendous, right yeah,
463
00:25:55.599 --> 00:26:00.920
I mean, oh man, and so the pod that's right
464
00:26:01.039 --> 00:26:03.559
said General Hospital podcast about our favorite stity and upstate
465
00:26:03.640 --> 00:26:06.440
New York Port Charles Baby. They can find.
466
00:26:06.319 --> 00:26:11.920
Us on Instagram or Facebook Advance Soap Podcast.
467
00:26:12.039 --> 00:26:13.519
Yeah, let us know if you want to be on
468
00:26:13.559 --> 00:26:14.799
the show too. We do, like guess we have it
469
00:26:14.880 --> 00:26:16.839
a guest in a while. Yeah, but it's always fun.
470
00:26:16.880 --> 00:26:19.799
We like to talk to you know, diehards, to yourselves
471
00:26:19.839 --> 00:26:21.920

472
00:26:23.160 --> 00:26:25.200
And we will be back next week. Can I wait
473
00:26:25.240 --> 00:26:27.559
to see? We're gonna gonna be a lot of Jason
474
00:26:28.000 --> 00:26:34.279
this week, which I think is gonna be great. Yeah,
475
00:26:34.400 --> 00:26:35.839
I don't know what I've seen the previous he looks
476
00:26:35.880 --> 00:26:38.720
a little roughed up. Be interesting to see how his
477
00:26:38.799 --> 00:26:44.359
return impacts the show man in Soak the Podcast. We
478
00:26:44.440 --> 00:26:46.599
will see you next week.
