TIETOJA TÄSTÄ JAKSOSTA
On this week's episode of The Flagship Podcast, Horns247 columnist Chip Brown and managing editor Taylor Estes open the show to discuss the tragic death of NBA legend Kobe Bryant and eight others, including his 13 year old daughter, and how Bryant changed the game of basketball.
Another topic of interest follows with the latest injury development on the Forty Acres — at a position where Texas could not afford injury due to limited depth available — with the announcement that sophomore linebacker Ayodele Adeoye will miss spring football after he suffered a foot injury that will require surgery, and how Adeoye's absence will impact the defense in spring practice.
We are then joined by special guest, former Texas Football All-American and two-time Super Bowl champion Dan Neil for an in-depth look into the upcoming Super Bowl plus his thoughts on the Longhorns football program and the changes he wants to see from Texas in 2020.
Chip and Taylor wrap up the show with their tailgate takeaways, including Chip's take on the Longhorns' baseball team and some names to be on the look out for when Texas baseball starts its season.
Don't miss out on the latest episode of The Flagship Podcast.
