TIETOJA TÄSTÄ JAKSOSTA
There are preachers you can listen to, preachers you can't listen to, and preachers you must listen to. At our Preaching Pre-Conference, Dr. H.B. Charles, Jr. lays out seven marks of the kind of preaching that demands a hearing, from faithfulness to the text all the way to freedom in the pulpit. He keeps the aim fixed on the glory of the message rather than the greatness of the messenger, and he tells the story of a sermon tape he keeps but will never play. If your preaching has started to feel more like performance than proclamation, this message will remind you that you are not the story.
