In this episode of Education in Action, co-hosts Dave Keighron and Maria Jimenez sit down with Dr. Andrew Woods, a marketing educator who brings energy, creativity, and real-world experience into the classroom.
Dr. Woods shares how he utilizes the methodology of experiential learning, storytelling, hands-on projects—such as selling t-shirts and building with LEGO—to turn theory into practical skill and experience. He discusses the importance of mentorship, adapting to cultural differences, and helping students overcome fear through action.
From flipped classrooms to soft skills and business networking, this conversation highlights how education becomes truly transformative when it’s dynamic, engaging, and rooted in real-life application.
