Welcome to The Weekly Pull! A brand-new weekly series where Gordon and Nick read, discuss, and debate some of the greatest comic books ever published!
For our first episode, we're starting with one of Marvel's greatest villains: Doctor Doom! The guys go all the way back to Fantastic Four #5 (1962), Doom's legendary first appearance, before diving into Books of Doom, the acclaimed series exploring the origin and tragic history of Victor von Doom.
What made Doctor Doom one of Marvel's most iconic villains? How does his first appearance hold up today? And what can Books of Doom tell us about the man behind the mask?
Join us for the first Weekly Pull and let us know what comic we should read next!
