What if the biggest thing missing from your small group Bible study isn't a better curriculum, better questions, or better leaders?
What if it's prayer?
In this episode, I share a simple practice that can dramatically improve your small group Bible studies: taking 15 intentional minutes beforehand to pray. Whether you use Discovery Bible Study, traditional discussion groups, or house churches, prayer can shift a Bible study from simply discussing Scripture to actually being transformed by it.
We talk about:
• How to pray before leading a Bible study
• Praying through the Discovery Bible Study process
• Why obedience matters more than information
• How to pray for group members effectively
• Building groups that are transformational, not just informational
• Preparing your heart, not just your content
If you lead a small group, house church, Bible study, discipleship group, or simply want better spiritual conversations, this video is for you.
