TIETOJA TÄSTÄ JAKSOSTA
"I don't have time" almost never means what it sounds like. It means you haven't decided something is important enough yet, and once you see that, you can't unsee it.
Dan used to believe the gap between where he was and where he wanted to be was hours. He was wrong. Every high-performing person has essentially the same number of hours as everyone else. What they have that most people don't is radical clarity about what those hours are for, and equal clarity about what they're not for. Time doesn't get managed. Decisions do. "I don't have time to exercise" really means other things come first. "I don't have time to build that skill" really means it hasn't been committed to as a priority. "I don't have time to work on the business" really means the hours are still going toward things that haven't had the hard conversation about stopping. Dan closes with a one-week exercise: list three things you keep saying you don't have time for, then ask what decision, what stop, what no, would actually free up the hours already sitting there.

Most people building wealth ask the wrong first question. What should I invest in, real estate or stocks, crypto or index funds, when to get in, when to get out. Reasonable questions. Wrong ones to ask first.
