TIETOJA TÄSTÄ JAKSOSTA
Episode #444 of BGMania: A Video Game Music Podcast. Today on the show, spooky season is here, and Bryan and Bedroth are kicking off October by strapping on the proton packs, gassing up the Ecto-1, and answering the call for New York's most famous paranormal exterminators: the Ghostbusters! From a Commodore 64 title screen that came with its own bouncing-ball sing-along all the way to Spirits Unleashed, we're busting through more than forty years of games built around the franchise that made catching ghosts look like the coolest job on the planet.
We'll march the Statue of Liberty through Manhattan, check into a hotel you'll want to check out of early, wander an abandoned subway long after the last train's gone, poke around a rusty old factory with the Extreme crew, and come face to face with a certain marshmallow the size of a skyscraper. So keep your PKE meter close, don't cross the streams, and leave the porch light on, because October on BGMania is just getting started!
