Feeling disconnected from yourself, even when nothing in your life is technically wrong, is a sign your intuition is asking for your attention. In this episode of Aligned & Abundant, Intuitive Spiritual Teacher Christine Marcario explores why we lose touch with ourselves, how people pleasing and constant busyness drown out your inner knowing, and the small, gentle shifts that help you reconnect with who you really are.
Disconnection rarely happens all at once. It builds through a thousand tiny moments, like the yes you said when your whole body was saying no or the dream you set aside because someone else needed you more. Christine invites you to ask yourself one honest question: are you experiencing your life, or are you managing it? She shares her own story from a year and a half ago, when an hour-long commute, a full classroom, and years of people pleasing left her showing up for everyone except herself, until her soul made it clear it was time for a bigger classroom. Hear the full story in Episode 11.
Through a spiritual lens, Christine reframes disconnection as a message rather than a problem. Craving deeper conversations, feeling more sensitive to energy, or questioning what you once accepted can point to exhaustion, spiritual growth, or both. You'll learn why intuition speaks as a quiet knowing instead of a dramatic sign, why rest and receiving are essential to self-trust, and why your worth was never tied to how much you produce.
Christine also guides you through the Come Home Check-In, a simple five-minute reflection practice with three journal prompts to help you notice what you're carrying, what part of yourself you've been missing, and what you actually need. She closes with a permission slip and a powerful question to journal on this week: what would change if you started treating your own needs as something worth honoring?
If you're ready for support on this path, Christine shares how the Soul Shine Collective community and 1:1 intuitive coaching help you keep coming back to yourself, plus an invitation to Gathered: A Cozy Fall Retreat, co-hosted with Casey Taton, November 5–7, 2026 in Toms River, New Jersey. Expect breathwork, bodywork, Reiki, meditation, meaningful connection, and space to simply exhale.
