In this episode of 13 Degrees of Screams, we're discussing Send Help (2026), Sam Raimi's horror comedy survival film about an overlooked corporate employee and her arrogant boss who become the only survivors of a plane crash and are stranded together on a remote island. We share our overall thoughts, discuss the balance of horror, comedy, and survival, and explore how Linda and Bradley's workplace power dynamic changes once they're fighting to survive.
We also dive into Rachel McAdams' transformation into Linda, the Survivor references, the film's CGI and absurd moments, and whether Linda remains sympathetic as her survival skills take a darker turn. Finally, we debate the plane crash, Linda's complicated past, and whether the ending gives her a satisfying "good for her" moment—or something much more disturbing.
