stephanie sinclair (born 1973) is an American photojournalist who focuses on gender and human-rights issues such as child marriage and self-immolation. Her work has been included in The New York Times, Time Magazine and National Geographic.
== Life and work ==
Sinclair was born in 1973 in Miami, FL. She graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. in journalism and an outside concentration in fine art photography.After college, Sinclair began working for the Chicago Tribune, where she was part of the paper's 2001 Pulitzer-prize winning team in Explanatory Reporting.
