Life can hit you with the kind of pressure that makes you whisper, “I’m done.” When that moment shows up, we want you to hear this clearly: being tired doesn’t mean you’re failing. Dr. Beatrice Hyppolite walks us through how to stay grounded when effort feels unseen, results feel slow, and you’re running out of strength.
We unpack what to do when you feel like giving up, including when to rest without quitting, when to ask for help, and how to take the next small step that keeps momentum alive. We also go straight at one of the biggest confidence killers: comparison. From social media highlight reels to watching other people get promoted, we talk about why your timeline is not theirs and how to protect your peace while you keep preparing for your next opportunity.
You’ll also hear practical encouragement around celebrating small progress, rebuilding self worth, setting boundaries, and refusing to let other people’s opinions become your identity. Dr. Hyppolite shares why starting over is not failure, why patience matters when life delays your plans, and how faith and purpose can carry you through a hard season. We close with a reminder that nobody succeeds alone, so pay attention to who truly supports you and be that support for someone else.
If this helped, subscribe, share it with someone who needs a push, and leave a review. What’s one thing you’re choosing to keep going after today?

00:00:23.199 --> 00:00:24.640
Hello, everyone.
00:00:24.879 --> 00:00:27.839
Hello, hello, hello, hello, everyone.
00:00:28.320 --> 00:00:32.799
Welcome to another episode of Your World with Dr.
00:00:33.039 --> 00:00:34.799
Beatrice Ipolit.
00:00:35.600 --> 00:00:44.880
And uh tonight I am very happy to be with you for a new live session.
00:00:45.600 --> 00:00:53.280
And uh I wanna say to everybody who is watching now, so wherever that you may be, hey, say hello.
00:00:54.000 --> 00:01:01.200
And our subject for today is uh a subject that we all we all can relate to.
00:01:01.840 --> 00:01:06.159
What do you do when life gets hard?
00:01:07.040 --> 00:01:10.879
What do you do when life gets hard?
00:01:11.359 --> 00:01:27.120
Because believe it or not, you know, life will never always be sweet or smooth or easy the way that uh we may want it to be.
00:01:27.920 --> 00:01:34.799
Unfortunately, for many, it's always gonna be bumps, and that's what life is about.
00:01:35.280 --> 00:01:45.120
So there will be some good days, there will be some not easy days, there will be days that hey, the bumps will be uh so hard to face.
00:01:45.280 --> 00:01:50.159
Sometimes we we may wonder, hey, what should I do?
00:01:50.560 --> 00:02:00.319
And this is a question that I'm pretty sure that myself I've I asked myself so many times, and uh you probably did as well.
00:02:01.359 --> 00:02:05.760
Because love doesn't always go according to our ways.
00:02:06.719 --> 00:02:16.639
Sometimes you work hard and still get the result, and still don't get the result that you were hoping for, or the result you wanted.
00:02:16.800 --> 00:02:39.520
Sometimes you give your best to everyone, but what you receive back, it's all discouragement and people who don't appreciate the amount of things that you have done for them, or the amount of sacrifice that you have put along the way for them to be where they are today.
00:02:39.759 --> 00:02:47.439
And sometimes you build your own career or try to build your own career in order to have a better tomorrow.
00:02:47.919 --> 00:02:53.120
And so to your eyes, it seems that you're still stuck the same place.
00:02:53.280 --> 00:02:57.520
And sometimes you may wonder, what did I do wrong?
00:02:58.000 --> 00:03:21.680
And uh sometimes you may not even know how to keep everything together, and sometimes you can simply be tired, tired of keeping on trying, tired of uh not being uh valued, tired of uh being taken for granted, you know, every single day.
00:03:22.479 --> 00:03:28.319
But uh I want you to I want to remind you of something very important today.
00:03:28.639 --> 00:03:32.479
Being tired doesn't mean that you are failing.
00:03:33.280 --> 00:03:38.319
Sometimes it simply means you have been carrying a lot.
00:03:39.759 --> 00:03:46.240
And for today's conversation, I kind of break uh this into seven different parts.
00:03:46.560 --> 00:03:53.759
The first part that you will we will be talking about is when you feel like uh giving up.
00:03:54.080 --> 00:03:58.400
The second part, stop comparing your journey.
00:03:59.439 --> 00:04:04.560
The third one, small progress is still progress.
00:04:05.840 --> 00:04:09.280
Number four, know your value.
00:04:11.199 --> 00:04:24.319
Number five, you are a lord to start over, and uh number let's look.
00:04:24.399 --> 00:04:26.160
So, what is number six?
00:04:28.800 --> 00:04:46.079
Number six uh is uh faith, purpose, and patience, and uh okay, those are the are all the components that you we will be covering tonight.
00:04:46.319 --> 00:04:50.560
So let's start with uh number one or part one.
00:04:51.519 --> 00:05:03.279
When you feel like giving up, how many of you after you have tried so many times and you get to a point where you feel like you know what?
00:05:03.519 --> 00:05:04.800
I think that's it.
00:05:05.360 --> 00:05:08.240
I don't have any more strength to carry on.
00:05:08.480 --> 00:05:25.360
I think you know, so this time, so it's like I'm just gonna pack up and leave everything alone because I've been trying for so many times, but it's still that it seems that things uh don't can get go my way, and what should I do?
00:05:25.759 --> 00:05:32.160
Unfortunately, like I said in the beginning, life can be very unpredictable.
00:05:32.319 --> 00:05:42.000
Life, you know, so uh there are always gonna be bumps in life, and when they come, so all we have to do is learn how to deal with them.
00:05:42.560 --> 00:06:00.240
Uh and uh when the question that you know, like I don't I ask or I will ask everybody, have you have you ever had a moment when you thought I am done?
00:06:01.360 --> 00:06:07.920
Maybe you didn't literally want to quit everything, but you were mentally exhausted.
00:06:08.639 --> 00:06:26.000
You studied something with excitement, but somewhere along the way, the excitement, disappointment, you know, come uh to sink in and don't know exactly what to do.
00:06:26.800 --> 00:06:29.759
But remember, it's life.
00:06:30.319 --> 00:06:39.680
We sometimes think uh success, successful people never struggle, and I hear it many times.
00:06:39.920 --> 00:06:53.040
So when people say, Oh, you know what, those you know who tend to have money, those who succeed in life, many oftentimes they never struggle.
00:06:53.360 --> 00:06:54.399
How we know?
00:06:55.120 --> 00:07:06.160
We don't know, so we may assume that way, but the fact that we assume that people who succeed in life never struggle, we don't know that for a fact.
00:07:06.399 --> 00:07:10.079
And their route is not the same as our route.
00:07:10.560 --> 00:07:16.720
And we don't know sometimes, you know, what they had to give up in life.
00:07:16.959 --> 00:07:24.480
We don't know what sacrifices that they they have made to along the way to be where they are today.
00:07:24.800 --> 00:07:41.199
So we only see the finished product sometimes, but we don't see the sleepless night, the rejections, the mistakes, the financial stress, the uncertainty, or the moments when they question their own selves.
00:07:42.959 --> 00:07:44.480
Those we don't know.
00:07:44.720 --> 00:07:56.319
And that's why, you know, when I hear people or uh say somebody is jealous of this of that person because this of that person had accomplished so much.
00:07:56.560 --> 00:08:30.879
And because of that, so you want to be jealous about that person, but you don't know the amount of night that person uh you know could not sleep because uh this or that project needed to be done right away, or this of that project needed so much time to put in, and that person, for whatever reason, could not even get uh a five or six hour sleep every day.
00:08:31.279 --> 00:08:41.279
I know people only, you know, while they were doing working on a specific project, only had to sleep two hours per day.
00:08:41.519 --> 00:08:45.840
So of course, who knew when they were dealing with that?
00:08:46.000 --> 00:08:51.360
Who knew the amount of time that they could not even get proper sleep?
00:08:51.519 --> 00:08:52.559
We don't know that.
00:08:52.799 --> 00:08:59.360
But the minute that you know they sometimes we see the finish line, that's the thing that we tend to focus on.
00:08:59.440 --> 00:09:04.320
But at the end of the day, they probably have gone through so many things.
00:09:04.960 --> 00:09:15.360
So it's uh very important that you sometimes struggling means uh you are on the wrong, doesn't mean that you are on the wrong path.
00:09:15.679 --> 00:09:27.600
Just because you are struggling, let's say, for example, if you were to be in college, and uh of course, as college students, you're gonna struggle.
00:09:27.679 --> 00:09:30.639
That's part of life, that's part of the journey.
00:09:31.360 --> 00:09:35.039
It's not easy, it's never gonna be easy.
00:09:35.200 --> 00:09:54.720
Whether that, you know, financially you may have financial situations, whether that you learn way more faster or better than other students, whether that you know the commute can be something for you, so there always gonna be some bumps, and at the end of the day, you have to deal with them.
00:09:54.879 --> 00:10:08.000
And again and again, like I said, struggling doesn't mean that you are on the wrong path, it's just the path that you have to take to be where you wanna be.
00:10:08.240 --> 00:10:19.039
Sometimes struggling is part of the becoming of becoming stronger, and I am not saying you should ignore problems or pretend everything is okay.
00:10:19.360 --> 00:10:37.440
No, sometimes you need to rest, sometimes you need to change direction, sometimes you need to ask for help, and sometimes you simply need to take a breath and say, I am going to try tomorrow.
00:10:37.679 --> 00:10:45.440
Just because you tried today and you did not succeed, it doesn't mean that, hey, automatically that you fail.
00:10:45.919 --> 00:10:50.960
So let's put the project at rest for at least one moment.
00:10:51.120 --> 00:11:12.879
I'm not saying forever, because let's say, for example, as a college student, so you were in the middle of uh doing an assignment, and you try to come up at least with the first sentence to start that paper, and everything seemed to go black in your mind, you cannot think.
00:11:13.120 --> 00:11:14.480
It's just nothing, Papa.
00:11:15.039 --> 00:11:16.240
What you're gonna do?
00:11:16.399 --> 00:11:22.879
It's a paper that is though, you have a due date on that paper, and you know, so that paper may be crucial.
00:11:23.200 --> 00:11:29.600
Every paper that you owe in college is always crucial because hey, those are steps that you have to go through.
00:11:29.840 --> 00:11:37.759
But at the end of the day, if uh at this moment you see that, hey, everything is blank in your mind.
00:11:37.919 --> 00:11:43.360
So put put that at rest at least for one or two hours.
00:11:43.519 --> 00:11:51.360
Or if it if you were in the middle of the night and you know what, let me just try to go to bed.
00:11:51.600 --> 00:11:57.440
And tomorrow I'll make sure that I'll wake up at three or four in the morning to tackle that paper.
00:11:57.679 --> 00:12:00.240
And eventually, so you will get it.
00:12:00.399 --> 00:12:04.720
So, did you go, you know, did you put that you know to rest forever?
00:12:04.960 --> 00:12:08.639
No, but you put it to rest for one, two, or three hours.
00:12:08.879 --> 00:12:17.279
So you go get some uh uh a good nap or a good rest and go back to it and trust me.
00:12:18.240 --> 00:12:24.000
As a former student, I can tell it's always worth it.
00:12:24.879 --> 00:12:29.919
Uh the second part, stop comparing your journey.
00:12:30.799 --> 00:12:40.480
I think last uh last week uh we we spoke about comparison, especially you know, like uh whatever that is going on social media.
00:12:40.639 --> 00:12:49.120
I'm not gonna go too much on that uh on the social media component, though I'm still gonna mention it.
00:12:50.000 --> 00:12:56.159
So, because comparison is another thing that uh you know people do oftentimes.
00:12:56.879 --> 00:12:59.200
We mentioned last week social media.
00:12:59.440 --> 00:13:14.399
You see somebody buying her home, you see somebody buying her house, you see somebody remodeling their home, you see somebody buying a new car, you see somebody you know traveling, you see somebody uh um just had a baby.
00:13:14.639 --> 00:13:17.519
Um all the things that people normally do.
00:13:17.759 --> 00:13:23.600
So you see other people are doing it, and not none of that, none of those is happening in your life.
00:13:23.759 --> 00:13:30.240
And all of a sudden, so you you you you want to make of that a major problem.
00:13:30.639 --> 00:13:35.120
No, it's not a major problem, and it should not be a major problem.
00:13:35.360 --> 00:13:53.279
Or you see people you know getting promoted, like I mentioned last week, and you've been in that job for a while and you never get promoted, but it doesn't mean that you're not a good employee, it doesn't mean that you're not important, it doesn't mean it just it's not the moment.
00:13:53.919 --> 00:13:59.840
It's that the moment, like I remember one time somebody asked me, How do you feel?
00:13:59.919 --> 00:14:09.120
You know, if you were to how will you feel if you were in a job and seeing everybody, most people are getting promoted and you never got promoted.
00:14:09.279 --> 00:14:15.759
And I simply answered to that question, hey, I'll celebrate everybody until it my turns come.
00:14:16.080 --> 00:14:25.600
And if my turns never come, so it's meant that, hey, it's not meant to be in this particular job, but eventually it will happen.
00:14:25.840 --> 00:14:29.519
Because at the end of the day, that's what life is about.
00:14:29.759 --> 00:14:38.639
Even if you were to train people and see them being promoted and that never happened to you, in the it doesn't mean that you less than that.
00:14:38.799 --> 00:14:43.360
It's just, hey, everybody who's getting promoted, just celebrate them.
00:14:43.600 --> 00:14:48.879
And when I say celebrate them with a pure heart, be happy for them.
00:14:49.120 --> 00:14:50.159
Because you know what?
00:14:50.399 --> 00:14:58.720
When your moment comes, and your moment eventually will come, and nobody will be able to stop it from coming.
00:14:58.960 --> 00:15:06.159
Just hey, bear with the moment, celebrate everybody, and wait until your time arrives.
00:15:06.559 --> 00:15:12.559
And like I said, eventually your time will come and it will be big.
00:15:13.919 --> 00:15:26.240
And uh, so when things like that happen, you cannot uh decide, you know what, or you know, uh hey, I'm I don't feel happy about it.
00:15:26.399 --> 00:15:34.960
Like somebody who told me that uh she applied for a job and was qualified for the promotion.
00:15:35.279 --> 00:15:42.720
And like she said, Beatrice, I know deep down, so I was the most qualified uh uh person for that position.
00:15:42.879 --> 00:15:46.960
It saddened me when I saw somebody else getting the promotion.
00:15:47.120 --> 00:15:51.600
And I'm not lying to you, I got very depressed over that.
00:15:51.919 --> 00:15:54.320
I understand, it can be a challenge.
00:15:54.559 --> 00:15:57.840
I'm not saying it is not, it cannot be.
00:15:58.080 --> 00:16:23.039
It's you know, because you know, you know your what your work ethic, you know the amount of time that you invested, you know the way you do your work, you know the how you invest in your client or patients, whatever title, uh uh the the customers that you serve may uh whatever uh may use uh at the end of the day.
00:16:23.360 --> 00:16:37.600
So if you notice that you apply for that job and somebody else, you know, to your eyes may not be qualified or got the promotion because of favoritism, nepotism, or what have you, you know it.
00:16:37.759 --> 00:16:42.320
I sometimes I'm not saying it's an easy pill to swallow.
00:16:42.559 --> 00:17:01.840
No, it is not, but at the end of the day, I don't want you to feel depressed because you knew deep down you are you were qualified for that position and it was never given to you or it was given to somebody who was less qualified.
00:17:02.240 --> 00:17:05.599
At the end of the day, that's part of life.
00:17:05.839 --> 00:17:08.079
People favor who they want to favor.
00:17:08.400 --> 00:17:12.400
People sometimes they want to favor who kiss their BI the most.
00:17:12.640 --> 00:17:21.920
People sometimes they want to favor who when they say to when they say jump, who only gonna ask them how high or which weaver.
00:17:22.319 --> 00:17:33.279
And uh people only want to favor those who cater to their ego and uh keep on improving yourself.
00:17:33.599 --> 00:17:37.279
If you were to go back to school, go back to school.
00:17:37.440 --> 00:17:43.279
If you were to earn some new certificate or new skills, go ahead and do so.
00:17:43.440 --> 00:17:54.079
Keep on uh uh preparing yourself for tomorrow opportunities because trust me, two more opportunities will come.
00:17:56.559 --> 00:18:13.359
Uh you are compar don't compare yourself because you may be comparing yourself behind the scene to somebody else's highlight wheeled while you don't know.
00:18:14.240 --> 00:18:20.799
While you don't know, is hey, be mindful, and it's very important.
00:18:21.519 --> 00:18:23.279
Do not compare yourself.
00:18:24.160 --> 00:18:29.279
At the end of the day, I don't think that will do you any favor.
00:18:29.920 --> 00:18:36.319
If I were to compare myself to somebody else's success, I don't think it will do me any favor either.
00:18:36.640 --> 00:19:00.079
So I just want to be Beatrice, continue to be me, and do whatever that I have to do to improve everything that needs to be improved until you know whatever that is behind you, whatever that is saved for me down the road, for me to gladly accept it and embrace it and keep on moving forward.
00:19:00.640 --> 00:19:18.240
You don't know what they went through, people that uh you may when you see what they have uh uh highlighted uh in the will or what have you, and more importantly, the timeline isn't yours.
00:19:20.160 --> 00:19:27.279
Maybe your journey is taking longer because you are building something different.
00:19:27.839 --> 00:19:34.559
Maybe you are learning a lesson that you need for the next chapter of your life.
00:19:36.000 --> 00:19:42.559
Maybe you are not behind, you are just where you were supposed to be.
00:19:44.079 --> 00:19:49.599
Part three, small progress is still progress.
00:19:51.279 --> 00:19:54.559
Sometimes there are people who want it to be big.
00:19:54.720 --> 00:19:57.519
If it is not big, it's not progress.
00:19:58.799 --> 00:20:10.400
Small progress is still progress, regardless of small that it can be, but it's still progress.
00:20:11.200 --> 00:20:23.359
Uh a couple weeks ago or months ago, I had a conversation, and um, I think it's one of my podcast sessions.
00:20:23.440 --> 00:20:37.200
I don't remember exactly what the topic was, and uh there was something that was said, uh, I remember, I remember, so it was me and Dr.
00:20:37.279 --> 00:20:42.880
Florina Joseph who had a session and we were talking about success.
00:20:43.599 --> 00:21:02.720
And uh one thing that I mentioned, I said, as long as you know, you know, you may be big or working on a big project, and uh always see whatever little success as a success because it's never small.
00:21:03.119 --> 00:21:22.079
And one example that we use uh it was let's uh consider you all your life you wanted to be a nurse, but hey, life happened, situation occurred along the way.
00:21:22.400 --> 00:21:28.720
You got married, you got married, children eventually came in the picture.
00:21:28.960 --> 00:21:36.000
Life situation, you know, happen and make things not easy for you, and you say, you know what?
00:21:36.799 --> 00:21:41.039
I still want to continue and pursue that goal.
00:21:41.359 --> 00:21:42.480
It's doable.
00:21:43.279 --> 00:21:47.920
So now, so you went and took that uh CNA class.
00:21:48.160 --> 00:21:56.240
Now you are a certified nursing assistant, and before you even know it, hey, that's a job that you do for a few years.
00:21:56.559 --> 00:22:06.400
You celebrate that because, like I Said prior in that show many years ago, you were not a nursing assistant.
00:22:06.559 --> 00:22:10.160
Now you have the certification, celebrate it.
00:22:10.480 --> 00:22:18.480
And further down, you decide to go and took the LPN uh uh uh uh uh uh courses.
00:22:18.799 --> 00:22:22.559
So upon graduation, celebrate that big.
00:22:22.799 --> 00:22:29.279
And eventually, when you finally become uh BSN, you're gonna celebrate it.
00:22:29.599 --> 00:22:32.480
But each moment it's important.
00:22:33.279 --> 00:22:36.640
Each moment is worth celebrating.
00:22:36.960 --> 00:22:44.480
Never consider your progress or something that you had accomplished in life as small.
00:22:45.839 --> 00:22:51.920
As small that it may look, or it can be it's worth celebrating.
00:22:53.440 --> 00:23:05.119
We often think progress has to be something huge, but sometimes progress looks like getting out of bed when you didn't feel like.
00:23:06.000 --> 00:23:24.400
You see how small it can be, but it's still a huge progress because there are days I'm telling you, you is you don't want to go out, you don't want to get out of that bed, you don't have the strength to pull yourself off that bed.
00:23:24.720 --> 00:23:28.400
But eventually, hey, you manage and you did.
00:23:28.799 --> 00:23:30.079
It's progress.
00:23:30.400 --> 00:23:33.119
Sometimes it's going back to school.
00:23:34.799 --> 00:23:41.359
I've heard people who said, you know what, I had that desire 10, 15 years ago.
00:23:41.599 --> 00:23:44.400
Now, you know, I've been married for a very long time.
00:23:44.640 --> 00:23:46.559
I already have four kids.
00:23:46.799 --> 00:23:48.559
I don't think it's for me.
00:23:48.799 --> 00:23:53.200
In another 10 years, I'll retire, or 15 years I'll retire.
00:23:53.440 --> 00:23:54.720
I think I'm done.
00:23:55.039 --> 00:24:03.839
No, you can still push yourself through and go and accomplish that because you always dream of having that college degree.
00:24:04.079 --> 00:24:09.119
So let's just, you know, think hard and go do it.
00:24:09.680 --> 00:24:15.519
Sometimes it can be applying for another job after getting rejected.
00:24:16.240 --> 00:24:22.079
And I know there are people who don't who normally don't like to be rejected.
00:24:22.240 --> 00:24:24.559
They take rejection very hard.
00:24:24.960 --> 00:24:31.519
So if I apply for this and I was rejected, I don't want to keep on applying for the same position.
00:24:32.640 --> 00:24:36.400
And I understand, so we all are different.
00:24:36.720 --> 00:24:51.519
But at the end of the day, rejection, it can it may it may seem something harsh, but at the end of the day, hey, it's not that harsh.
00:24:51.839 --> 00:24:57.599
You apply one at once, you were rejected, continue to do it.
00:24:57.839 --> 00:25:06.240
And eventually, you may not be that position, you may not be this or that agency, but you're finally gonna get the job.
00:25:06.480 --> 00:25:10.079
Sometimes it may be a phone call you have been waiting.
00:25:10.559 --> 00:25:13.599
Sometimes it's choosing yourself.
00:25:15.440 --> 00:25:18.079
Yes, small progress.
00:25:18.480 --> 00:25:21.119
Sometimes it can be choosing yourself.
00:25:21.599 --> 00:25:34.160
Um few weeks ago, uh, I had a conversation with uh someone who was apparently living in a very toxic relationship.
00:25:34.720 --> 00:25:40.240
And one day she called me and said, Guess what?
00:25:41.599 --> 00:25:45.599
And I said, I will not know until you tell me.
00:25:45.920 --> 00:25:50.799
I said, She had the news, and she said, You know what?
00:25:51.519 --> 00:25:53.039
I'm finally out.
00:25:54.480 --> 00:25:59.519
And I said, break it in in plain English.
00:25:59.759 --> 00:26:01.599
What do you really mean?
00:26:02.160 --> 00:26:19.359
And she, you know, she was happy to share with me that hey, eventually she got herself out of that toxic relationship because she realized that, hey, if she did not, she probably would have lost her life down the road.
00:26:19.680 --> 00:26:25.279
And uh I'm gonna exactly repeat the same way she the way that she said it.
00:26:25.680 --> 00:26:30.880
I finally, I Beatrice, I finally choose me.
00:26:31.839 --> 00:26:35.440
And I was happy for her, and I said, you know what?
00:26:35.680 --> 00:26:43.839
It's something that is worth celebrating, and I'm uh I'm inviting you out for a glass for you know for a drink.
00:26:44.079 --> 00:27:21.039
So, okay, so we went and we had a drink, and I was happy to celebrate that moment with her because I know the struggle and all the challenges that she went through, and especially when you have children get uh involved, making certain decisions to leave a relationship, it's not always easy, but there are some relationships that despite having kids, you have to, even that you have to choose yourself, but at the end of the day, the kids will also benefit from it.
00:27:22.079 --> 00:27:57.599
So, and another thing that you know, like uh we can consider as small uh as uh small progress is uh sometimes it's simply refusing to give up, despite what life can bring on the table, all the struggle, all the misery, all the things that uh you may not be able to understand.
00:27:58.880 --> 00:28:22.720
All the people that you touch who should have been there for you, but for whatever reason, choose not to be there for you, all the rejection from everyone, sometimes even from your own family or from your own children or partners, but you still choose not to give up on you.
00:28:24.480 --> 00:28:28.960
It may be it may look small, but it's very important.
00:28:31.359 --> 00:28:43.759
Part four, know your value, it is significant to know your value.
00:28:47.599 --> 00:29:00.480
Don't wait for your husband, your wife, your girlfriend, boyfriend, partner, children, sister, brother, uncle, mother, father.
00:29:00.799 --> 00:29:05.519
Don't wait on any of those to value you.
00:29:06.720 --> 00:29:08.640
Know your value.
00:29:10.240 --> 00:29:44.480
It is important to know your value because when you know your value, you will stand up always to defense what is white towards you when you know your value, you're gonna make sure that boundaries are important to set.
00:29:46.160 --> 00:29:56.880
I also want to talk about knowing your worth, know your value, but it's important also to know your worth.
00:29:58.000 --> 00:30:05.920
You cannot allow somebody else's opinion of you to become your identity.
00:30:07.680 --> 00:30:20.880
We live in a society where it is easy for people to say whatever they want to say about something just to assassinate your reputation.
00:30:21.839 --> 00:30:32.480
But what other people may say about you and what you know about the person that you are are two different things.
00:30:34.000 --> 00:30:59.839
I remember one time I was working at a job, and somebody came to the office and was talking about somebody else in a very bad manner, and not knowing the person that he was talking about was also sitting in the womb, and Lord have mercy.
00:31:00.079 --> 00:31:04.720
I never I never met somebody who was that.
00:31:06.319 --> 00:31:10.160
Should I use the word evil or mean?
00:31:11.440 --> 00:31:15.440
Let's say mean, because I don't want to use the word evil.
00:31:16.160 --> 00:31:26.960
The person was mean, in a mean, mean, mean, talking very badly about that other person.
00:31:28.400 --> 00:31:39.119
And uh when uh some another gentleman said to him, uh, it seemed that you're pretty confident in what you are saying.
00:31:39.440 --> 00:31:44.960
That person you're talking about, how close are you with that person?
00:31:45.599 --> 00:31:50.240
You do did you have some personal relationship with that person prior?
00:31:51.680 --> 00:32:01.599
Or it's because you heard other people talk about that person and you're just repeating what those people had said in the past.
00:32:02.480 --> 00:32:11.119
And with confidence, he said, I'm I am telling you what I'm telling you right now, they are facts.
00:32:13.039 --> 00:32:23.759
And it was at that moment the old man stood up and said, The person you are talking about, it's me.
00:32:25.119 --> 00:32:30.640
And he looked at the person and he said, How come it's you?
00:32:31.039 --> 00:32:42.160
And the person said, You what you just said, and every single bad thing that he said about that man, and that man just repeated them one after the other.
00:32:42.400 --> 00:32:45.599
And I said, I am that person.
00:32:46.000 --> 00:32:48.079
And he said, No, you cannot be.
00:32:48.400 --> 00:33:07.279
So here you are, somebody was mad, but you know, talking very bad about somebody, and now face the reality where the person that he was talking bad about was sitting all of the all of this time in the womb and didn't even know that it was that person.
00:33:08.799 --> 00:33:29.119
If you are somebody who normally talks about people not knowing what you are saying can damage that person's life, I invite you tonight, stop.
00:33:30.960 --> 00:33:42.799
Because sometimes we may hear things from other people, but we don't know exactly whether there is a truth to it or not.
00:33:43.599 --> 00:34:10.480
Sometimes when you go out there and repeat what other people are, you know, told you, and not having any idea whether it's true or not, and you go out there and repeat or spread the news around, you don't know the amount of uh uh pain that you can inflict into that person.
00:34:10.880 --> 00:34:20.320
You don't know how much you can assassinate that person's character, not knowing that whatever that you're saying, there is no truth to it.
00:34:21.280 --> 00:34:23.199
It's not a good practice.
00:34:23.440 --> 00:34:34.639
Because when you go and you assassinate somebody's character, so even when the truth were to come out, the damage will already be done.
00:34:34.880 --> 00:34:39.599
And sometimes there are some damages that cannot be repaired.
00:34:40.079 --> 00:34:47.840
And that person will live with the shame for the rest of his or her life because of you.
00:34:48.079 --> 00:34:55.039
If you were somebody who normally does that or plan to do it, if you normally do it, stop.
00:34:55.360 --> 00:35:01.840
If you had the idea to start doing it, please don't, because it's not a good practice.
00:35:04.320 --> 00:35:18.480
People will sometimes misunderstand you, people will underestimate you, people will criticize you, and sometimes people will walk away.
00:35:19.199 --> 00:35:24.880
That doesn't automatically mean sometimes something is wrong with you.
00:35:25.760 --> 00:35:36.719
You have to learn how to say, I know who I am, and I know what I am walking toward.
00:35:39.440 --> 00:35:47.360
You know that I always believe one of the greatest gifts in the world is to know who you are.
00:35:47.760 --> 00:36:04.079
Because you know one thing, when you know who you are and the path that you are going through, one thing that you will never allow, you will never allow somebody else to write any chapter of your life.
00:36:04.400 --> 00:36:14.239
Because all your life belongs to you, and you are the sole author who should write all the chapters of your life.
00:36:14.480 --> 00:36:31.760
Don't ever allow anybody whatsoever, regardless of the title that person may have in your life, to write any chapter in your life, because your life only began, your life only belongs to you and you only.
00:36:34.079 --> 00:36:47.280
Not everybody has uh to understand your vision, not everybody has to support your dream because your dreams are your dreams.
00:36:47.840 --> 00:37:03.440
If somebody you know wants to embrace what you envision for your life and want to push you, encourage you, and support you, consider it as a blessing and don't take it for granted.
00:37:04.239 --> 00:37:19.119
But if they choose not to, remember, your life only belongs to you, and not everybody deserves access to every part of your life.
00:37:20.159 --> 00:37:23.679
Protect your peace, it's vital.
00:37:24.400 --> 00:38:06.559
Protect your energy, it is important, and protect the goals you are walking toward because at the end of the day, so whatever that you tend to succeed, or you will succeed, or you walk on, you walk on, it's gonna be only for you, it's gonna be only to improve your quality of life, and when your quality of life, or your and when the quality of your life gets improved, that will impact so many other lives.
00:38:19.519 --> 00:38:22.480
It doesn't have to be something huge.
00:38:23.599 --> 00:38:43.360
Maybe sometimes what you have to do is something small, but whatever that it is, it is important to know how to you rebuild your confidence.
00:38:44.159 --> 00:39:01.679
Maybe sometimes it's simply getting uh taught a difficult season, whatever it is that may be going on or happening in your mind right now.
00:39:01.760 --> 00:39:13.119
Like I invite you to write it in the chat because sometimes saying your goal out loud makes it feel more real.
00:39:15.519 --> 00:39:19.519
I don't know if you guys have experienced that.
00:39:19.760 --> 00:39:38.480
Me on a personal level, I think you know, when I say my goals out loud, so of course I'm not gonna get, I'm not gonna take a microphone and uh blow out um my goals for the entire world to hear it.
00:39:38.719 --> 00:40:04.480
But sometimes when I say my goal out loud, so it seemed that it pushed me or gave me like that uh that uh uh uh urge to go and work on it uh fast, to want to see those uh goals uh come to achievement uh very quickly.
00:40:04.800 --> 00:40:11.599
So I like it that way, and it has worked for me uh so many times.
00:40:11.840 --> 00:40:14.159
Now we get to part five.
00:40:14.880 --> 00:40:17.840
You are a Lord to start over.
00:40:19.760 --> 00:40:28.159
Just because you have tried something and you fail, it doesn't mean that you have to stop trying.
00:40:28.719 --> 00:40:35.679
Failure is not when you did not succeed at sometime at something.
00:40:36.800 --> 00:40:41.280
To me, failure is when you stop trying.
00:40:42.320 --> 00:40:52.880
If you were to take an exam and you did not pass that exam, don't say I tried five times or four times or three times I did not pass.
00:40:53.039 --> 00:40:54.000
It's over.
00:40:54.320 --> 00:40:57.519
No, keep on trying until you get it.
00:40:57.679 --> 00:41:03.679
Eventually you will, but if you stop trying, that's when you fail.
00:41:05.119 --> 00:41:13.440
One of the most powerful things you can do is to give yourself permission to start over.
00:41:15.599 --> 00:41:16.480
Very important.
00:41:17.599 --> 00:41:23.599
It is very important to allow yourself, give yourself that permission.
00:41:24.400 --> 00:41:27.840
Not once, not twice, all the time.
00:41:28.880 --> 00:41:33.760
And it doesn't matter how many times that you had to start over.
00:41:34.960 --> 00:41:38.239
Start over, like I said, isn't a failure.
00:41:38.559 --> 00:41:42.239
Sometimes start it over means or you learn something.
00:41:42.880 --> 00:41:51.360
Maybe the first relationship didn't work, maybe the first career wasn't alright, maybe the first business fail.
00:41:51.920 --> 00:41:57.199
Maybe uh uh the first plan didn't work and it's okay.
00:41:57.679 --> 00:41:59.280
You know one thing?
00:42:00.559 --> 00:42:03.039
At least you learned.
00:42:03.519 --> 00:42:07.199
Now you have information you didn't have before.
00:42:07.599 --> 00:42:11.599
Don't be ashamed of starting over.
00:42:14.000 --> 00:42:18.400
A new beginning can come from an ending.
00:42:19.599 --> 00:42:29.519
I think you know I experienced uh things in that way, God, and I'm pretty sure many of you can relate to that statement.
00:42:29.920 --> 00:42:33.519
A new beginning can come from an ending.
00:42:34.960 --> 00:42:42.239
You don't have to have everything figured out, you just need to take the next step.
00:42:44.000 --> 00:42:56.000
Part six faith, purpose and patience, faith, purpose, and patience.
00:42:57.440 --> 00:43:09.599
For those of us who have faith, there are times when we have to choose the progress, even when we can't see the outcome.
00:43:24.239 --> 00:43:32.079
Philippians, chapter chapter four, verse thirteen.
00:43:33.599 --> 00:43:35.440
I'm gonna say it again.
00:43:36.159 --> 00:43:42.480
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
00:43:44.239 --> 00:43:53.199
To me, that doesn't mean everything will be easy because that's not what life is about.
00:43:55.440 --> 00:43:59.440
That is not why what life is about easy.
00:44:01.039 --> 00:44:01.360
No.
00:44:02.239 --> 00:44:08.239
And sometimes I've seen people say, you know what?
00:44:09.039 --> 00:44:19.280
Why I have to always have to double my strength to have something done.
00:44:19.679 --> 00:44:21.760
Why it is not easy?
00:44:22.079 --> 00:44:28.880
Why, you know, are the struggles that I'm going through, other people don't go through that same struggles.
00:44:29.440 --> 00:44:29.760
No.
00:44:30.320 --> 00:44:32.000
Don't feel entitled.
00:44:32.559 --> 00:44:35.440
Because feeling entitled can kill you.
00:44:35.920 --> 00:44:42.400
And the fact that you know you have to struggle in order to succeed in life.
00:44:43.199 --> 00:44:48.000
It doesn't mean that, hey, you are you are less fortunate.
00:44:49.039 --> 00:44:54.239
As a matter of fact, for me, I consider as it I consider it as a blessing.
00:44:54.719 --> 00:45:18.719
Because whatever that I I accomplished, I've had whatever I had accomplished in life, and knowing the struggles that I went through to accomplish them, not only make me part of the person that I am, but it gave me that sense of fulfillment to see that I tried something.
00:45:19.199 --> 00:45:24.079
And it was not easy, but but I worked hard toward it.
00:45:24.320 --> 00:45:27.599
I invested a lot of time and energy.
00:45:27.920 --> 00:45:31.760
And eventually I did it.
00:45:32.800 --> 00:45:40.239
So now I can you know pat myself on the back and say, girl, I'm proud of you.
00:45:40.800 --> 00:45:44.559
It was not easy, it was not ended to you.
00:45:44.960 --> 00:45:57.280
Nobody was a one to push you, to help you, but you through all the struggles, you tiptoe in them and manage to come with this outcome.
00:45:58.000 --> 00:46:06.559
Why should I be proud of myself and the all the good things that I have accomplished in life?
00:46:06.800 --> 00:46:09.840
And that's the way that we have to see things.
00:46:10.320 --> 00:46:18.559
Because when uh when people when you look for easy, easy doesn't mean that you're gonna get the best result.
00:46:19.360 --> 00:46:28.400
And struggle, you know, when you struggle to work with the person, like I said, it doesn't mean that you are less fortunate.
00:46:28.639 --> 00:46:30.639
It just this is your journey.
00:46:30.880 --> 00:46:38.800
This is how you have the the route that you have to go through in order to accomplish what you need to accomplish.
00:46:40.239 --> 00:46:42.639
And uh and it is very important.
00:46:43.440 --> 00:46:47.679
It means we don't have to face everything alone.
00:46:48.159 --> 00:47:04.559
Sometimes, if you see that you know, while you're walking through the process and you see that it may it seem that not it's not gonna be easy for you to go to the to make it to the finish line.
00:47:04.880 --> 00:47:09.840
So if you need assistance, ask for it.
00:47:11.039 --> 00:47:14.159
It's not gonna make you less than you're supposed to.
00:47:14.639 --> 00:47:22.719
There will be there always, there will be always difficult seasons.
00:47:22.960 --> 00:47:25.039
Always keep that in mind.
00:47:25.760 --> 00:47:30.880
But those difficult seasons, you don't need to go through them alone.
00:47:31.440 --> 00:47:40.639
There will be unanswered questions, there will be delays, but a delay isn't necessarily easy now.
00:47:41.360 --> 00:47:50.079
Sometimes the season you are in is preparing you for the season you are praying for.
00:47:52.960 --> 00:47:54.639
Let me repeat this.
00:47:55.280 --> 00:48:07.119
Sometimes the season you are the season you are in is preparing you for the season you are praying for.
00:48:07.920 --> 00:48:14.159
Let's say, for example, uh, I'm still gonna take college.
00:48:15.199 --> 00:48:48.559
So you were your the job that you have now as a CNA probably did not offer that much in terms of salary, but despite having a family, a husband, wife, kids, uh sometimes our elderly parents to take care of to take care of, and you still decide to go through this struggle of being a college student.
00:48:49.599 --> 00:49:08.960
So all the nights without sleeping, all the walking extra hours, all the going, you know, like straight from from work, going to go to school.
00:49:09.199 --> 00:49:16.159
It doesn't matter if it is raining, if it is snowing, whatever the weather may be, and you still have to do that.
00:49:16.639 --> 00:49:34.960
The struggle of doing research, even when you're not too good at it, the struggle of writing your paper, to go over it over and over and over, and sometimes look for somebody who will be willing to go over that paper before you finally submit it to the teacher.
00:49:35.199 --> 00:49:40.159
So nowadays, you know, so it's like it may be easy for a college student.
00:49:40.480 --> 00:49:43.599
The time that I did, I went to college.
00:49:44.000 --> 00:49:47.840
So chat GPD or AI was not around.
00:49:48.079 --> 00:49:50.159
So now it's much easier.
00:49:50.239 --> 00:49:55.599
You can write your paper and plug it into AI and ask AI to polish it.
00:49:55.840 --> 00:49:59.199
AI will be will give you a very good version.
00:49:59.519 --> 00:50:22.000
But my time, so it was like I had to do everything over and over with it over and over, and sometimes you know, look for people who speak the language way much better than me to go over my paper and do uh uh some uh correction, most likely the grammatical errors.
00:50:22.239 --> 00:50:33.280
So and uh and go and make those corrections before I handed my final papers to uh uh the uh professors.
00:50:33.599 --> 00:50:41.760
So of course the journey will not be easy, so it's not a it will not be an easy season.
00:50:42.719 --> 00:50:46.239
That season will not be easy, but guess what?
00:50:46.480 --> 00:51:10.400
That season, you know, is preparing you for the season you are praying for, and the season that you are praying for, it's uh having like you know, in the near future, a drug that pays way much better with uh way, way, way, way, way, way more benefits uh uh uh attached to it.
00:51:10.800 --> 00:51:12.400
So very important.
00:51:12.880 --> 00:51:19.760
So keep your faith, keep walking, keep learning, and keep moving forward.
00:51:22.159 --> 00:51:23.360
Part seven.
00:51:23.599 --> 00:51:31.199
I think part seven is the last part of this uh uh uh um live presentation.
00:51:31.599 --> 00:51:36.000
Part seven, the people who support you, mother.
00:51:36.559 --> 00:51:38.480
Oh yeah, big time.
00:51:38.960 --> 00:51:56.800
You know one thing, I'm saying the people to support your mother because if you ever heard somebody you know telling you that, hey, I made it in life alone, I give you the permission to look at that person straight in the eyes and say, you're lying.
00:51:57.280 --> 00:52:05.599
Because nobody, nobody, nobody can say that you know what, I accomplished everything in life alone.
00:52:06.000 --> 00:52:12.320
Somehow you have, you know, some you it's not possible.
00:52:13.440 --> 00:52:16.320
So I understand you may do most work.
00:52:16.800 --> 00:52:24.800
I understand that you may at one point, you know, put all the sacrifices, but guess what?
00:52:25.280 --> 00:52:31.360
Somehow down the line, there always somebody was there for you.
00:52:31.599 --> 00:52:43.760
Like I said, you uh uh uh just early uh just now uh when I used to do my paper, so I look for somebody to look over that.
00:52:44.159 --> 00:52:45.440
Did I did the work?
00:52:45.840 --> 00:52:47.440
Of course I did the work.
00:52:47.840 --> 00:52:54.559
I sat down, I researched whatever uh article that needed to be that I need I needed to research.
00:52:54.719 --> 00:53:00.880
I did all the wedding, I did my 12, uh, seven, eight pages of paper.
00:53:01.119 --> 00:53:09.760
Yet I know the amount of work I put, I know the amount of nights that I slept only one or two hours.
00:53:10.239 --> 00:53:14.079
Because when I used to be in college, it was not easy for me.
00:53:14.320 --> 00:53:17.039
Three jobs and full-time student.
00:53:17.280 --> 00:53:38.159
Life was uh worth, but I did it so, but now having all those privileges or all the accomplishments that uh God grace me with, can I say that?
00:53:38.400 --> 00:53:41.039
Oh, whatever that I did, I did no.
00:53:41.280 --> 00:53:43.440
There were other people along the way.
00:53:43.679 --> 00:53:49.760
When I took my student loan when I was going to grad school, my stepmother sighed on it.
00:53:49.920 --> 00:53:52.880
Of course, I am paying for my student loan.
00:53:53.119 --> 00:53:54.639
So that's my money.
00:53:54.800 --> 00:54:02.480
So I had to pay back, but at the end of the day, will I get the loan if she did a sign on it for me?
00:54:02.800 --> 00:54:05.679
The answer will definitely be no.
00:54:06.559 --> 00:54:08.800
So of course I succeed.
00:54:09.039 --> 00:54:14.159
I put the work in, but she was there to sign up on my student loan.
00:54:14.400 --> 00:54:22.960
Uh so the fact that you know she didn't pay dime in that, it doesn't mean that what she did did not count.
00:54:23.199 --> 00:54:25.440
No, I can see it that way.
00:54:26.320 --> 00:54:35.199
All the people who have, you know, who were generous enough to look at my paperwork and help correct some grammatical errors.
00:54:35.360 --> 00:54:39.519
So, can I say that you know what they did was nothing?
00:54:39.920 --> 00:54:42.000
No, it was valuable.
00:54:42.320 --> 00:54:51.199
So, regardless of how small somebody has put in to assist you, be grateful.
00:54:52.000 --> 00:54:53.199
Be grateful.
00:54:53.519 --> 00:55:01.519
Because nobody, nobody in this entire world cannot say that you have succeeded, you have succeeded alone.
00:55:01.679 --> 00:55:03.360
There is no such thing.
00:55:03.679 --> 00:55:09.360
You always, always know the people who support you, mother.
00:55:10.320 --> 00:55:13.280
Pay attention to the people around you.
00:55:14.079 --> 00:55:15.679
That's why it's important.
00:55:16.079 --> 00:55:32.960
If the people is who support you, mother, then you have to pay attention to everybody around you because there will be other people around you who won't be the who won't be as supportive as you probably will hope for.
00:55:33.199 --> 00:55:38.000
There will be people around you who only will try to tear you down.
00:55:38.239 --> 00:55:46.000
There will be people around you who will make you believe that you're not, you you know, you you you don't value.
00:55:46.559 --> 00:55:52.480
You or or or you're not worth of what uh you pretend to be.
00:55:52.719 --> 00:56:00.400
There will be people around you who will make you believe that you you don't deserve this or that life.
00:56:00.559 --> 00:56:06.239
There will be people around you who will try to discourage you and think, you know what?
00:56:06.480 --> 00:56:08.320
I don't know what's going on.
00:56:08.639 --> 00:56:13.519
Oh, you'll never uh be able to accomplish this.
00:56:13.760 --> 00:56:17.679
You will never be able to amount to this or that level.
00:56:17.840 --> 00:56:19.519
You have to pay attention.
00:56:19.760 --> 00:56:26.079
The people around you mother, and those who support you, they mother.
00:56:27.280 --> 00:56:34.800
And that's why at the you know, uh uh just prior, I said, be grateful.
00:56:35.760 --> 00:56:45.760
You don't need uh a zillion of people around you, you don't want a million of people to cheer you up if it is one, two, three.
00:56:46.639 --> 00:56:48.159
That's all you need.
00:56:48.639 --> 00:57:03.679
As long as those who sit around you, who want to support you, who want to be there for you when the chips you know are down, those are the ones that you really need.
00:57:04.000 --> 00:57:14.239
Sometimes you only need those two or three people who are genuine to you and who want to see you succeed.
00:57:14.719 --> 00:57:30.079
Find people who encourage you, people who tell you the truth, because they are people who will try to will try to let how to say that.
00:57:38.000 --> 00:57:55.119
So they know deep down what they wanna tell you, but they will tell you what you wanna hear or what can make feel or what can make you feel good, but they will not tell you the truth.
00:57:55.920 --> 00:58:06.480
So I wanted somebody tell me the truth, knowing that you're telling me the truth because you want me to fix it.
00:58:10.239 --> 00:58:31.760
Be your own people who celebrate your wins without comparing with you, having competitors, you don't need that, you don't need that, you're not the next passage, you're not going to any competition.
00:58:32.960 --> 00:58:49.199
So if the people around you, if they're not if they if they're not capable of celebrate celebrating your wins without comparing themselves to you, you don't deserve to be around them.
00:58:51.440 --> 00:58:54.400
Me, I'll cut you off.
00:58:57.599 --> 00:59:29.280
Be around people who remind you who you are when you forget, be around people who remind you how strong that you are when you when you find yourself in a depressive stage, when anxiety tries to take over, be around people who can cheer you up, you are on people who will remind you.
00:59:29.519 --> 00:59:32.480
Hey, girl, you're strong.
00:59:33.119 --> 00:59:44.559
Girl, you remember when life were kind of like, you know, like throwing this or that on your way, you remember how strong you used to be?
00:59:44.800 --> 00:59:56.880
You remember how many times that you defeat situations that people did not even believe that you could have defeated, but you went ahead and walked on yourself.
00:59:56.960 --> 01:00:00.800
You went ahead and pushed to and you finally did it.
01:00:01.039 --> 01:00:16.880
No, this time, if you were able, you know, to overcome challenges, those types of challenges uh five years ago, ten years ago, you know, remember that you are the same strong person.
01:00:17.039 --> 01:00:23.039
And this time, I'm not gonna let you let that situation take you down.
01:00:23.440 --> 01:00:27.119
Hey, I'm with you, I have your back.
01:00:27.519 --> 01:00:35.840
Hey, let's put your uh uh uh your strength back together, and together we're gonna fight this.
01:00:36.079 --> 01:00:41.760
And like you won many years ago, and we're gonna win this fight.
01:00:41.920 --> 01:00:49.440
Those are the people that you want around you, and be that person for somebody else.
01:00:50.000 --> 01:01:00.239
The same way that you need those types of people around you, whenever you have the opportunity to be that same person to somebody else, do it.
01:01:01.599 --> 01:01:10.079
Because success isn't just about what you accomplish, it is also about who you help along the way.
01:01:12.800 --> 01:01:16.960
I think you know it was a good conversation, so I enjoyed.
01:01:17.280 --> 01:01:19.840
I really enjoy being with you tonight.
01:01:20.239 --> 01:01:24.320
It's uh always a privilege and a pleasure to be with you.
01:01:24.559 --> 01:01:35.199
And my closing message for you today is this before we end tonight, I want to leave you with this.
01:01:36.480 --> 01:01:42.880
Don't give up on yourself because the process is taking longer than you expected.
01:01:44.880 --> 01:02:02.800
You may not be where you want to be yet, but you are still here, you are still learning, you are still growing, you are still trying, and that and that matters.
01:02:14.960 --> 01:02:20.800
Or a bad moment convince you that you had a you have a bad life.
01:02:21.440 --> 01:02:28.400
Don't let one rejection convince you that you are not capable.
01:02:30.480 --> 01:02:36.079
Don't let somebody else's opinion determine who you are.
01:02:37.760 --> 01:02:45.920
And the compare your chapter two to somebody else, chapter twenty.
01:02:55.840 --> 01:02:59.199
Your journey cannot be the same as mine.
01:02:59.679 --> 01:03:08.880
My cannot cannot be the same as my siblings, and my sibling journey cannot be the same as their neighbors.
01:03:10.239 --> 01:03:15.039
Your journey, your story is still being written.
01:03:15.760 --> 01:03:33.679
So take a breath, get back up, make the phone call, submit the application, finish the class, start the business, have the conversation, take care of yourself, and keep going.
01:03:35.599 --> 01:03:50.400
Because sometimes the difference between where you are now and where you are trying and where you are trying to go is simply refusing to quit.
01:03:52.719 --> 01:03:53.679
Thank you.
01:03:54.159 --> 01:03:56.320
Thank you so much for your time.
01:03:57.119 --> 01:03:59.760
Thank you for being with me tonight.
01:04:00.800 --> 01:04:18.800
And as usual, I'm gonna say if you enjoy this conversation, this conversation, make sure you like the video, subscribe, and send it to somebody you who may benefit from it.
01:04:19.199 --> 01:04:31.360
And before you leave, tell me in the comment what what is one thing you're going to keep going after.
01:04:32.719 --> 01:04:35.760
So we spoke about a lot of things today.
01:04:36.000 --> 01:04:48.800
You know, we have five, seven different uh components that we spoke about, and I would like to know exactly which one you're gonna work on tonight.
01:04:49.199 --> 01:05:00.320
Until next time, take care of yourself, keep up, keep up uh the good work, and remember your story isn't over.
01:05:00.960 --> 01:05:03.599
Keep going tonight.
