Join Rose for another jam-packed episode as she chats to three inspiring women each empowering people in a different way.
First she is joined by Kay Gilbert who set up a Facebook Group for 'tennis parents'. Kay saw an opening to help out other parents and created a place for parents of professional players such as Julian Cash and Johnny O'Mara to share advice to the parents of future tennis stars struggling with the new world of competitive tennis they find themselves in.
Next Rose spoke to founder of new sponsor She Can Water, Richla Obeng, who after a tricky childbirth, created a new business, just this year to empower and remind women that they are capable and to inspire them during moments of doubt. Her water cans sold out within the first 6 weeks!
Lastly, Rose spoke to Jo-Anne Downing about two of her roles at the LTA. First the LTA FAGE Youth Starter offer, where for just £4.99, parents can buy a starter pack including a racket, balls and free tennis taster sessions for their children to get them involved in the sport. Check it out here! Jo-Anne also delved into her other role within the She Rallies initiative which empowers more women to get involved within tennis, not just in terms of playing but coaching and workforce too.
