Welcome back to the Monday work wife group chat, where the opinions are strong, the stakes are incredibly low and apparently we have a lot to say about laundry.
This week, we’re sense checking the tiny hills we’re willing to die on. Brooke would like fabric softener removed from society, Georgia refuses to give up her top sheet, fortnightly red bin collection is simply not enough, doctors should be legally required to run vaguely on time, monthly pay needs to go and free trials should end before they quietly charge you $300 for an app you opened once.
Then we introduce our workhorse product of the month, with Brooke making a very passionate case for the Omnilux Men LED mask and approximately zero effort to pretend she hasn’t researched it within an inch of its life.

We also debut some data we absolutely did not ask for, courtesy of IKEA’s global food report. Apparently Australians cook from scratch more than the global average, love a microwave and air fryer, eat dinner suspiciously early and, most importantly, 64% of us are eating it in front of the TV. Honestly, fair.
Then it’s time for retail therapy: summer dresses, coverlets, a surprisingly practical laundry trolley, Georgia’s desperate need for a phone with actual storage and Brooke attempting to justify $599 outdoor furniture after buying a house.
Our work wife wisdom for the week: it’s gotten better before, and it will get better again.
