Welcome back to the work wife group chat. Apparently if you do something the same way enough times, it stops being a habit and becomes law.
In this episode, we are talking about all the weird little rituals and rules we have somehow collected over the years, from buying a cheeseburger before a flight and refusing to eat it until the plane is in the air, to claiming the same Pilates reformer every class, checking the restaurant menu before leaving home, and having very strong feelings about the correct supermarket trolley.
Then we introduce For Your Consideration, where we each share purchases under $30 that we genuinely love enough to recommend to everyone. There are laundry products, a very unnecessary but delightful pillow spray, an Aldi cleaning bargain, and the Pilates socks Georgia now refuses to stop talking about.
And finally, this week’s Work Wife Wisdom comes courtesy of a seven year old in a New York subway, who reminded us that sometimes the thing you are stressing about really is not that deep.
“It’ll come out in the wash.”
Honestly, a pretty solid approach to the week.
