درباره این اپیزود
On this episode, the crew cracks open Lost Coast Brewery's Blackberry Lager, hoping to find another standout fruit beer after a recent blackberry brew left a lasting impression. Unfortunately, this one couldn't quite live up to the hype.
From the first pour, the aroma had us optimistic with a sweet, inviting blackberry scent that hinted at big flavor. But once we took a sip, we were all left wanting more. While the beer was clean and easy to drink, the blackberry character never delivered the bold punch we expected, resulting in scores that reflected the missed opportunity.
Was it a bad beer? Not at all. But when you put "blackberry" on the label, we expect that flavor to make itself known—and this lager just played it a little too safe.
Listen in as we break down the aroma, appearance, flavor, mouthfeel, and overall drinkability to see where Lost Coast Brewery's Blackberry Lager landed on the Small Craft Advisory scoreboard.
