Hey venturers, it's Ford VentureForth by hitting that subscribe button.
00:00:03.759 --> 00:00:04.799
Shgoth Kai.
00:00:05.759 --> 00:00:07.120
I am the Vale.
00:00:07.440 --> 00:00:08.000
Shaw.
00:00:08.240 --> 00:00:08.720
Ilya.
00:00:08.960 --> 00:00:09.519
Ramsay.
00:00:09.759 --> 00:00:10.160
Philippa.
00:00:10.400 --> 00:00:11.839
And I'm your DM Seth.
00:00:11.919 --> 00:00:13.119
Welcome to Venture Forth.
00:00:13.439 --> 00:00:27.120
Gather round ye gentles, I've another tale to tell of woe-begotten heroes and repentant now duels, of villains and their scheming and the fools that heed the call.
00:00:27.280 --> 00:00:33.679
Sweet melodies to ensure that they venture.
00:00:39.920 --> 00:00:45.679
What they venture, dueling dragons in a dungeon, top and troll till the toes repeal.
00:00:48.880 --> 00:00:54.560
What they venture thou mayest have to trust a notch may when the devil's at the kill.
00:00:59.280 --> 00:01:03.600
They just have to darkness lace of fountains, nothing's up to sleep.
00:01:03.759 --> 00:01:05.760
There's a mate with much ambition.
00:01:06.079 --> 00:01:08.079
There's a war can at the gate.
00:01:08.239 --> 00:01:10.319
The real friends of politician.
00:02:07.439 --> 00:02:24.000
When last we left our heroes, you ventured into the packed interior of the split keel here amongst the first sprowing celebration, and after a quick casing of your surroundings, grabbed a libation from Harl Two Times Two Tides Morn and split up to find your target, Class Verheag.
00:02:24.240 --> 00:02:31.680
In the lower deck, Vale and Philippa met with a strange individual, Karnak, a solitary dragonborn who hails from the deserts to the east.
00:02:31.840 --> 00:02:38.879
He appears to know something of Vale's people, and through conversation with him, you discovered he had seen Class enter this evening with a bugbear in tow.
00:02:39.120 --> 00:02:44.879
And though his true purpose here remains a mystery, at an offer of friendship, he gave his word to help, should you need it.
00:02:45.599 --> 00:02:47.280
Ramsay, Elia, and Shaw.
00:02:49.360 --> 00:02:57.759
Ramsay, Elia, and Shaw all headed upstairs to check out the upper decks, where Ramsey found himself embroiled with a group of loggers who met his introduction with a welcome to their table.
00:02:58.000 --> 00:03:09.759
Shaw went to his roguish roots, stole some money, snuck around, and overheard snippets of a conversation that revealed a little something of whatever this exchange between Class and his bugbear friend may mean and entail.
00:03:10.400 --> 00:03:22.319
And Elia found herself going all in on a plan that ended with her quite literally kissing the bugbear in order to provide a distraction for Shaw to close the distance and learn exactly what Class is up to this evening.
00:03:22.639 --> 00:03:24.000
Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep.
00:03:24.560 --> 00:03:29.199
As we return to the split keel, I'm actually gonna go over to Mr.
00:03:29.360 --> 00:03:30.000
Ramsay.
00:03:31.759 --> 00:03:35.840
So you have been introduced and welcomed to the table.
00:03:36.159 --> 00:03:43.599
And um you are, you know, you've you guys have been playing cards for a little bit here and they're joking around and and laughing.
00:03:43.759 --> 00:03:47.439
Um but the the the table is yours, so to speak.
00:03:47.680 --> 00:03:54.000
So he says, Has anyone seen my family's brass heirloom?
00:03:54.159 --> 00:03:55.360
It's a great big bowl.
00:03:55.520 --> 00:04:01.599
And I say, Do you mean the one with the uh engraving that says we are who we are at the top?
00:04:01.759 --> 00:04:02.479
And he says, yes.
00:04:02.560 --> 00:04:06.960
And I say, Do you mean the one that has uh the feathers going up along the side of it?
00:04:07.120 --> 00:04:08.879
And he says, Yes, that's exactly what I mean.
00:04:08.960 --> 00:04:11.360
And I say, Do you mean the one that's about uh yay big?
00:04:11.520 --> 00:04:12.960
And he says, yes, that's exactly what I mean.
00:04:13.039 --> 00:04:30.480
And I say, I haven't seen it, but don't fill it out for tree, all of them snort and not like get their knotty ear all over themselves.
00:04:30.639 --> 00:04:31.759
It's so rampsy.
00:04:32.000 --> 00:04:34.480
Ramsey, my friend, we should bring you around more often, man.
00:04:34.800 --> 00:04:35.360
You're fun.
00:04:39.040 --> 00:04:42.879
But uh yeah, thanks for uh thanks for coming by and for your money.
00:04:43.040 --> 00:04:47.360
Um I'm gonna go ahead and say that you you've lost two silver.
00:04:47.759 --> 00:04:51.199
Like you should just play in a little a little couple of hands here at this point.
00:04:51.519 --> 00:04:51.920
No better.
00:04:52.000 --> 00:04:53.920
I'd say you were inventing rules as they come.
00:04:54.160 --> 00:04:56.399
I'm unfamiliar with this particular version of the game.
00:04:57.360 --> 00:04:57.920
Rules?
00:04:58.560 --> 00:04:59.360
No, never.
00:05:02.240 --> 00:05:06.240
And you see, like, there's a little exchange of glances and things like that.
00:05:06.720 --> 00:05:12.720
Um but uh so Ramsey, what are you uh where are you from, friend?
00:05:13.040 --> 00:05:16.879
Oh, uh here and there, um Dale originally.
00:05:16.959 --> 00:05:17.519
Are you familiar?
00:05:17.680 --> 00:05:24.000
Are you from uh uh here or um are you one of the new folk from the other world?
00:05:24.240 --> 00:05:25.199
Uh yeah, yeah.
00:05:25.360 --> 00:05:31.120
Everybody here from and she kind of she says, I'm from uh kind of eastern Ganbaldeer.
00:05:31.519 --> 00:05:35.439
One says Ondale, Kaldur, Kaldor.
00:05:35.920 --> 00:05:40.399
Um and just a smattering of you know, they're everybody's kind of from from all over.
00:05:40.560 --> 00:05:45.439
Um and uh but uh you haven't been in town long, right?
00:05:45.600 --> 00:05:51.920
Ramsey, and and are you are you are you the same guy who's been playing and performing?
00:05:52.079 --> 00:05:52.879
Is that good?
00:05:53.920 --> 00:05:55.439
The friendship.
00:05:55.600 --> 00:06:00.079
Yeah, we've heard I mean well, we've heard uh we've heard good things, we'll put it that way.
00:06:00.160 --> 00:06:04.079
You I mean, I don't know, you uh and they kind of look do you have your instrument with you?
00:06:04.240 --> 00:06:13.759
Yeah, yeah, I've got maybe uh maybe we could get a a performance or something like that if uh you know the night the night the mood takes you at some point.
00:06:14.079 --> 00:06:26.399
I'd have to get some of these other instrumentalists to quiet down, but yes, I'm I'm always uh uh keen to um indulge my senses and and yours.
00:06:27.040 --> 00:06:30.720
So far tonight, I mean they're um they're fine, but uh well.
00:06:33.360 --> 00:06:37.920
There's one uh fiddle that's just a bit off-tune, you know, it's just a bit sharp.
00:06:38.160 --> 00:06:40.800
And and that player, it's really an intonation thing.
00:06:40.879 --> 00:06:47.759
It's not quite about the um uh precise uh tuning of the instrument as much as it is the the way that they operate the vibrato.
00:06:48.079 --> 00:06:52.480
It's just you can't teach uh some people, they just can't hear it.
00:06:52.800 --> 00:06:55.040
And I know exactly what you're talking about.
00:06:55.199 --> 00:07:04.560
Um I mean, yeah, the the vibrato is something.
00:07:05.600 --> 00:07:17.680
She's like try she it's a good natured movie, but she's clearly sorry but yeah, and everybody kind of laughs and chuckles, and one of them's like, you don't know what the hell you're you don't know what the hell you're talking about.
00:07:17.839 --> 00:07:19.519
And they all laugh and and drink.
00:07:19.920 --> 00:07:21.759
Um all right, next next stand here.
00:07:22.000 --> 00:07:29.839
I am curious though, um uh before you rob me of any more of my money, uh um are you all uh still working?
00:07:29.920 --> 00:07:34.480
Is this uh or is this your main pastime for achieving uh remuneration?
00:07:34.720 --> 00:07:40.959
Well, I mean it's uh it's uh it's Ken's pastime, but uh he tends to lose a lot of money.
00:07:41.120 --> 00:07:44.879
And and like you see one of the guys that you've come to know as Ken.
00:07:45.040 --> 00:07:49.199
Uh he he's like, yeah, yeah, whatever, because he's been losing money the whole time.
00:07:49.600 --> 00:07:52.160
Um but yeah, we're all uh we all work.
00:07:52.319 --> 00:07:58.800
We're we're back home um for well we got a couple of about a week or so off before we head back out to camp.
00:07:59.360 --> 00:08:03.120
We're all everybody here works at um uh one of Bill's camps.
00:08:03.360 --> 00:08:11.600
Uh so um uh That wouldn't be Bill Bigger Baba, no?
00:08:12.079 --> 00:08:12.240
Bill.
00:08:12.959 --> 00:08:14.000
You met him, huh?
00:08:14.319 --> 00:08:18.480
Um uh yeah yes, he's kind of a remarkable, hard-to-miss individual, isn't he?
00:08:18.639 --> 00:08:19.439
He's a weird little fucker.
00:08:20.879 --> 00:08:23.360
That's not quite how I would put it, but sure, yes.
00:08:23.519 --> 00:08:26.480
I I wasn't sure what to make of him at first, but he seems a good sword.
00:08:26.720 --> 00:08:29.199
I mean, he pays better than anybody else here.
00:08:29.439 --> 00:08:30.399
Yes, that's what he said.
00:08:30.639 --> 00:08:43.759
And um and then, you know, the uh she gets a little a little quieter, she says in Well, for those we've lost, he um he makes sure to take care of their families, at least better than anybody else around here, so.
00:08:44.639 --> 00:08:45.519
To Bill, huh?
00:08:45.600 --> 00:08:46.960
And everybody kind of raises their cups.
00:08:47.120 --> 00:08:47.440
To Bill!
00:08:47.759 --> 00:08:49.120
And the And the Fallen.
00:08:49.759 --> 00:08:50.000
Yeah.
00:08:50.240 --> 00:08:52.559
Big Obama and to them.
00:08:52.799 --> 00:08:57.679
And you see as everybody, you know, there's a a little dip in the in the spirits at the table.
00:08:57.919 --> 00:08:58.399
Or one.
00:08:58.799 --> 00:09:01.360
Um as you see the cards kind of get handed out.
00:09:02.000 --> 00:09:03.120
Sorry to bring the mood down.
00:09:03.279 --> 00:09:09.279
Um I am um I sort of represent a hero, if you will.
00:09:09.440 --> 00:09:11.440
Uh uh, sort of as uh a manager.
00:09:11.600 --> 00:09:22.879
Um Bill did approach us with an offer to try and suss out the nature of um your problem, of the the losses that you've incurred at camp.
00:09:23.200 --> 00:09:39.919
Um do you all was anyone here, or do you know anyone among your um fellow employees that uh were near any of these experiences can attest to the nature of their um uh uh of the violence?
00:09:40.799 --> 00:09:42.559
Um yeah.
00:09:43.360 --> 00:09:44.000
Yeah.
00:09:45.039 --> 00:09:49.600
And um she kind of reaches up and like scratches her uh her jaw a little bit.
00:09:50.159 --> 00:09:56.960
Um I mean, we all knew everybody.
00:09:57.120 --> 00:09:59.279
Camps are pretty tight-knit for the most part.
00:09:59.440 --> 00:10:02.399
Being out in the Freywood, you gotta watch each other's backs.
00:10:02.720 --> 00:10:10.639
But um and she kind of looks over at that same guy, Ken, who has gotten very quiet.
00:10:11.840 --> 00:10:16.159
Um some of us, maybe more so than others.
00:10:16.480 --> 00:10:35.600
And you look at uh Ken and he's yeah, um uh I was out on shift and uh you know, Freywood called.
00:10:35.919 --> 00:10:53.279
So I uh walked a few hundred paces away to um you know and um Imagine when I heard that screaming What kind of screaming?
00:10:55.919 --> 00:11:13.200
My brothers my friends I don't know, whatever uh It was quick.
00:11:13.519 --> 00:11:42.080
Whatever it was It was long enough for them to I um got myself together as fast as I could and um Well I ran over still alive early Did they say something?
00:11:46.159 --> 00:11:56.000
And at this point you see the um everybody else kinda withdraw just a little bit.
00:11:57.039 --> 00:11:58.399
Ken does too.
00:11:59.279 --> 00:12:05.279
But he he kind of looks round at everybody, you see like his and his face gets a little hard.
00:12:08.240 --> 00:12:10.080
Yeah, he did say something.
00:12:13.759 --> 00:12:20.480
Said he whatever, fuck you guys.
00:12:21.600 --> 00:12:23.519
I don't think it was an animal.
00:12:24.639 --> 00:12:29.120
Everybody's been telling me it was an animal, everybody says it's an animal, and I don't think so.
00:12:29.279 --> 00:12:30.559
Alright, I said it.
00:12:33.039 --> 00:12:33.919
My brother.
00:12:37.840 --> 00:12:39.440
He was not a liar.
00:12:40.879 --> 00:12:42.720
What did he say it was?
00:12:45.200 --> 00:12:45.519
Okay.
00:12:47.200 --> 00:12:51.919
I got to him right at the end, and all he said was he he changed.
00:12:53.919 --> 00:12:54.799
He changed.
00:12:58.320 --> 00:13:00.000
And that's all I got.
00:13:02.080 --> 00:13:03.360
Why would he say he?
00:13:03.519 --> 00:13:04.799
Why would he say that?
00:13:07.360 --> 00:13:08.960
And I told him I looked.
00:13:09.840 --> 00:13:17.919
I looked, and and he looks up and he's like, I'm not a thorn watch, but I know footprints when I fucking see them, alright?
00:13:19.759 --> 00:13:23.200
And they weren't the right size for anybody on that crew.
00:13:25.519 --> 00:13:27.519
Worked every day with those guys.
00:13:32.000 --> 00:13:33.360
I believe you.
00:13:43.519 --> 00:13:45.279
all have patterns.
00:13:46.080 --> 00:13:47.600
Identifiable things.
00:13:47.919 --> 00:13:51.120
They operate according to some fundamental nature.
00:13:52.639 --> 00:14:03.200
I haven't seen any of the deceased yet, but I am familiar with aberrative scenes of violence.
00:14:05.200 --> 00:14:09.679
This sounds like one such thing.
00:14:13.519 --> 00:14:18.879
All of them they were they were ripped apart.
00:14:21.759 --> 00:14:34.399
I don't know how s I don't know how someone could have done that, but someone did.
00:14:36.480 --> 00:14:39.279
I don't think there's any harm in sharing this with you.
00:14:39.360 --> 00:14:46.159
Uh the people here deserve to know what um they're at risk of.
00:14:47.600 --> 00:14:57.440
Out there in the wilds there are objects that can change you into for lack of a better word.
00:14:58.320 --> 00:14:59.200
Monsters.
00:15:00.080 --> 00:15:07.679
I have seen men with tentacles springing from their necks.
00:15:12.159 --> 00:15:15.120
I have uh killed a few.
00:15:16.799 --> 00:15:21.759
Uh though it was mostly the veil, my hero that I told you about.
00:15:22.000 --> 00:15:23.759
Is that the guy who's the governor?
00:15:24.080 --> 00:15:24.720
It is.
00:15:25.120 --> 00:15:26.080
Very safe.
00:15:29.200 --> 00:15:36.399
He uh absconded with her from the party, um, but took her to a safe house, and that's the last we've heard.
00:15:38.960 --> 00:15:40.639
I don't know how her fate.
00:15:40.799 --> 00:15:45.679
Um but you all should be careful out there.
00:15:45.840 --> 00:15:50.720
Uh it is possible for people to be changed.
00:15:51.840 --> 00:15:59.519
I don't know if you were bitten at the wall um before when those um pancakes attacked.
00:15:59.679 --> 00:16:02.159
Um but they were strange.
00:16:02.639 --> 00:16:02.879
No.
00:16:04.399 --> 00:16:07.919
Similar, similar changes are are are happening out here.
00:16:12.879 --> 00:16:21.919
And he looks around at the rest of the group and finally the uh orcish woman that you've been speaking to, she speaks up.
00:16:24.559 --> 00:16:25.200
Yeah.
00:16:26.559 --> 00:16:29.759
There's been some odd stuff.
00:16:31.200 --> 00:16:32.480
Some of us were there.
00:16:34.399 --> 00:16:37.840
And the bugs came.
00:16:40.320 --> 00:16:51.919
But um I mean everything out there is always trying to kill us, but it does seem a little weirder recently.
00:16:52.320 --> 00:16:57.919
I'm not a local, so I don't know um what you endure uh day in and out.
00:16:59.039 --> 00:17:02.879
But um I know stories.
00:17:03.840 --> 00:17:06.720
And uh this one is an exception.
00:17:07.440 --> 00:17:20.480
So do be careful, and um as soon as we can uh Nii and uh well, the Vale and his associates um will uh uh see to your um safety going forward.
00:17:20.880 --> 00:17:25.519
And uh to put the fallen at ease.
00:17:25.839 --> 00:17:35.200
Um So the one with the two sort of um shovel shakes, is that uh what is that worth again?
00:17:35.519 --> 00:17:39.200
Um that's a that's a that's a card.
00:17:40.160 --> 00:17:41.920
Um, then I think I win.
00:17:42.720 --> 00:17:45.839
Awwwww, and you hear a bunch of groans, everybody groan.
00:17:46.720 --> 00:17:56.079
As the the levity of the moment, as Ramsey is prone to do, kind of effortlessly moves the conversation into a brighter spot.
00:17:56.400 --> 00:18:04.880
And um, I will get up from the table and start to look for the others, because uh I don't I guess I don't know if they've gone up or not.
00:18:05.119 --> 00:18:06.240
So I just start to look.
00:18:06.480 --> 00:18:09.920
You uh you begin to walk and look for your for your friends.
00:18:10.400 --> 00:18:15.359
Um and we will we will come back to Ramsey as you venture into the into the crowd.
00:18:15.519 --> 00:18:18.000
Um the two of you, Bale and Philippa.
00:18:18.640 --> 00:18:21.200
Um, you guys, have you finished up your conversation?
00:18:22.000 --> 00:18:23.440
Well, I wanted to say one thing.
00:18:24.799 --> 00:18:32.079
Like if you were coming back to the table, it's just like uh and that's how I ended up here.
00:18:33.680 --> 00:18:34.240
Yeah.
00:18:36.960 --> 00:18:37.759
Interesting.
00:18:38.000 --> 00:18:40.559
And while he's sizing me up like that, I switched to Gith.
00:18:41.039 --> 00:18:41.359
Okay.
00:18:44.640 --> 00:18:46.400
Something bothering me.
00:18:46.640 --> 00:18:51.519
Have you noticed that everyone here is very concerned with coin and money?
00:18:53.200 --> 00:18:58.960
And being very good Gith, he starts to speak back to you.
00:19:00.160 --> 00:19:08.480
Um, you're um I forget that um most of your people have no use for currency.
00:19:09.200 --> 00:19:19.279
Um yes, uh this side of the material plane is um well, somewhat common that people need money.
00:19:19.680 --> 00:19:26.160
Though this place it does seem that um there is a particular concern for more.
00:19:26.640 --> 00:19:28.480
It seems to go beyond need.
00:19:29.440 --> 00:19:30.160
Greed.
00:19:31.200 --> 00:19:32.000
Greed.
00:19:32.960 --> 00:19:33.599
Yes.
00:19:34.559 --> 00:19:36.079
I have noticed this, yes.
00:19:38.960 --> 00:19:41.359
It motivates all they do.
00:19:42.480 --> 00:19:43.599
No honor.
00:19:44.079 --> 00:19:51.519
One of my least favorite things about this place is its apparent lack of respect for the rule of law.
00:19:51.680 --> 00:19:53.200
It is a lawless place.
00:19:53.839 --> 00:20:02.960
Even this, and he kind of looks around and you can see there is he feels some type of way about there's uh some judgment in that in his eyes.
00:20:05.759 --> 00:20:09.759
Things are um different where I come from, as they are for you.
00:20:10.000 --> 00:20:10.640
Yes.
00:20:11.279 --> 00:20:13.119
Have you heard of the Gith Gear?
00:20:14.799 --> 00:20:15.039
Oh.
00:20:15.200 --> 00:20:15.599
Mm-hmm.
00:20:16.319 --> 00:20:16.720
Mm-hmm.
00:20:18.559 --> 00:20:19.839
He's in Gith.
00:20:22.559 --> 00:20:24.160
This is all in Gith now, yeah.
00:20:24.799 --> 00:20:36.000
Um, I have not, but I know that amongst your people there are many tribes, some friendly, others not, but all warriors and good ones too.
00:20:36.400 --> 00:20:38.559
Yes, and then I'll switch back to common.
00:20:39.200 --> 00:20:39.359
Okay.
00:20:40.480 --> 00:20:51.680
The Gith Gear are a people that are made up of all types of Gith.
00:20:53.039 --> 00:20:54.000
We don't care.
00:20:55.279 --> 00:20:56.400
Uh yes.
00:20:57.200 --> 00:21:02.559
The distinction between the Gith Yankee and the Gith ge the Git Gerae.
00:21:03.359 --> 00:21:04.160
Understand?
00:21:04.720 --> 00:21:05.599
Correct.
00:21:05.920 --> 00:21:08.319
That is rare, no?
00:21:08.799 --> 00:21:16.400
Very And what do you and your people these Githge call home?
00:21:17.359 --> 00:21:19.119
We call it Githgeir.
00:21:20.000 --> 00:21:21.759
That is a fitting name, then no.
00:21:22.319 --> 00:21:32.160
I think in this town it is something like Savior of the Geth.
00:21:34.000 --> 00:21:39.039
Perhaps that is um a foretelling of what is to come.
00:21:41.039 --> 00:21:44.640
The divide between your people, as I understand.
00:21:45.279 --> 00:21:48.079
And deep and long.
00:21:48.640 --> 00:21:49.039
There.
00:21:51.839 --> 00:21:53.279
One last thing.
00:21:55.680 --> 00:21:59.680
You've not seen any gith, but have you seen any elephant?
00:22:02.000 --> 00:22:13.359
And the his his his upper like lips kind of curl upwards and you see the rows of very large, very sharp teeth.
00:22:16.480 --> 00:22:20.960
It's something that the guard and he almost like catches himself.
00:22:21.599 --> 00:22:31.519
It is something that the guard is um always watchful of, particularly near the sun's blitters where the mountains draw close.
00:22:31.680 --> 00:22:33.839
They are rarer in the heart of the desert.
00:22:34.799 --> 00:22:41.680
I have not heard, though I have a counterpart to the north.
00:22:42.480 --> 00:22:44.720
You call this place Ulgar.
00:22:46.880 --> 00:22:50.160
And they have told me strange things.
00:22:52.160 --> 00:22:55.599
There is a city beneath Ulgar.
00:22:55.920 --> 00:22:56.720
Under, yes.
00:22:57.119 --> 00:23:12.079
It is um sister city to the city above, but um my counterpart tells me that ordinarily um there is um union between the two places.
00:23:12.480 --> 00:23:20.480
But of late um the road is closed between and no travelers can go down.
00:23:22.720 --> 00:23:25.839
All who try are um turned away.
00:23:26.240 --> 00:23:28.880
Who's who is your counterpart?
00:23:29.920 --> 00:23:32.079
We may need to go there.
00:23:32.880 --> 00:23:36.079
She is called a Vexera, the West Wind.
00:23:42.559 --> 00:23:44.160
Does she look like you?
00:23:45.200 --> 00:23:53.599
Um she is bronze, as winged as am I.
00:23:55.279 --> 00:24:01.519
All of the members of the guard are part of our um heritage and calling.
00:24:05.359 --> 00:24:14.960
But she is there, and I shall send word to her to see if any more of your people are nearby.
00:24:18.240 --> 00:24:21.839
She's in please find me.
00:24:22.799 --> 00:24:27.839
Where do you um call Keith Gear out here in black?
00:24:28.960 --> 00:24:30.880
Uh the red dawn.
00:24:31.839 --> 00:24:34.400
Oh I do not like it.
00:24:38.880 --> 00:24:39.920
It's okay.
00:24:41.680 --> 00:24:47.119
But um I can find you when I receive word.
00:24:47.279 --> 00:24:48.079
It may take time.
00:24:48.720 --> 00:24:48.960
Okay.
00:24:50.319 --> 00:24:56.079
You can also find him or find me to find him at Sales and Soothes.
00:24:56.720 --> 00:24:57.039
Excellent.
00:24:57.359 --> 00:24:58.319
In my shop next door.
00:24:58.799 --> 00:25:01.279
I um have asked in this place.
00:25:01.519 --> 00:25:03.039
It is your um your shop.
00:25:03.519 --> 00:25:06.000
But Sales and Soothes, no, but my shop is right next door.
00:25:06.880 --> 00:25:08.079
It just does not have a name.
00:25:08.400 --> 00:25:11.119
And what do you um what do you do, Miss Philippa?
00:25:11.440 --> 00:25:12.160
I am a healer.
00:25:12.480 --> 00:25:14.480
A noble art, to be sure.
00:25:15.359 --> 00:25:17.359
I'm alive because of people like you.
00:25:20.000 --> 00:25:20.640
Thank you.
00:25:20.960 --> 00:25:26.960
Thank you for your um conversation and for your water for sharing it with me.
00:25:28.000 --> 00:25:28.640
Of course.
00:25:29.039 --> 00:25:30.559
Oh yeah, the water.
00:25:31.200 --> 00:25:40.079
Um, yeah, I'm like looking, uh I I've been kind of connected to the conversation, but when they kind of started talking to Gith, I'm I'm looking to see if I see any bugbears around.
00:25:40.240 --> 00:25:46.240
And like if I see them exiting or leaving, I don't know if the timing loops up, but it does pretty much exactly actually.
00:25:46.640 --> 00:25:59.839
Right as right as this conversation kind of uh comes to an end, and as they slipped into the Gith gear, you did see the two bugbears and the two goblins exit the front of uh the split keel.
00:26:00.079 --> 00:26:02.799
Okay, but I don't see a a dwarf with them.
00:26:04.480 --> 00:26:07.440
So yeah, I'm gonna touch my ear again, use one more charge.
00:26:07.680 --> 00:26:08.000
Okay.
00:26:09.759 --> 00:26:12.640
Ilya, the bugbears are leaving.
00:26:12.880 --> 00:26:14.960
Do you have eyes on class?
00:26:16.400 --> 00:26:20.880
And at this point we would have gone into the tent or no?
00:26:21.119 --> 00:26:24.799
Um, at this point, I would say this is like right as they're leaving.
00:26:24.960 --> 00:26:27.599
Because the time of everything I think just kind of works out.
00:26:27.680 --> 00:26:30.400
That like so they all like left.
00:26:30.559 --> 00:26:35.279
Um, so this is maybe 30, 45 seconds after they all went down the stairs.
00:26:35.440 --> 00:26:37.839
Because it's it's not that big of a place.
00:26:38.079 --> 00:26:38.400
Yeah.
00:26:38.559 --> 00:26:43.680
Um so yeah, it's you've been like since they were like, we're leaving, it has been 30 seconds.
00:26:43.920 --> 00:26:44.240
Okay.
00:26:44.559 --> 00:26:49.279
Um definitely then we're like enter gonna be entering the tent.
00:26:49.359 --> 00:26:57.119
And I'm I'm just uh how do I I'm like we're because we're in the we're not in the crow's nest, or are we on the top nest?
00:26:57.279 --> 00:27:05.119
So you guys are on the so you are on the the the top deck, but then there's like a shanty town kind of secondary level.
00:27:05.359 --> 00:27:08.079
Um so it's like so tons of-second level.
00:27:08.240 --> 00:27:13.680
Yeah, top deck, and then like shanty rooms, and then another second story kind of on top of that.
00:27:13.920 --> 00:27:18.160
And okay, and did I see Ramsey go to the second story or is it the same shanty town?
00:27:18.480 --> 00:27:20.720
Uh he Ramsey is like below guys.
00:27:20.880 --> 00:27:21.759
Yeah, top deck still.
00:27:21.839 --> 00:27:27.839
So like elevation-wise, and like the top of the of the ship is like there's so many elevation changes, but yeah.
00:27:28.160 --> 00:27:33.440
I'm gonna say uh we're on the second level.
00:27:34.319 --> 00:27:39.440
Ramsey's on the top deck about to interrogate class.
00:27:40.720 --> 00:27:44.400
Grab him, I don't know how many letters, words.
00:27:44.720 --> 00:27:47.039
There's no oh there's no short, it's a short short range.
00:27:47.440 --> 00:27:48.000
There's like 20 with the five.
00:27:48.160 --> 00:27:51.599
I'd say it's you're probably limited to it's probably about the same as sendings.
00:27:51.920 --> 00:27:53.599
I mean, because otherwise it wouldn't make much sense.
00:27:54.000 --> 00:27:54.079
Yeah.
00:27:54.400 --> 00:27:57.680
Uh much, much, well, much shorter range, but also at will.
00:27:57.759 --> 00:27:58.960
So I'm gonna say it's probably the same.
00:27:59.039 --> 00:28:00.000
About 20 to 30 words.
00:28:00.319 --> 00:28:02.319
Grab him and and meet us here.
00:28:02.480 --> 00:28:04.240
We're past the front stairs.
00:28:04.400 --> 00:28:06.319
Uh the yeah, past the front stairs.
00:28:06.400 --> 00:28:08.559
Because we came up through the front and it was like pretty early.
00:28:09.039 --> 00:28:13.920
I'd say you probably get to grab him and meet, and it's the end of it.
00:28:15.119 --> 00:28:15.759
Can you hear it?
00:28:16.000 --> 00:28:16.559
I hear it.
00:28:16.960 --> 00:28:19.759
Um Well, Veo.
00:28:20.079 --> 00:28:20.720
The Vale.
00:28:21.200 --> 00:28:26.000
It appears our company has found who they're looking for.
00:28:26.480 --> 00:28:27.279
Shall we?
00:28:29.119 --> 00:28:30.640
It was wonderful to meet you, Ghana.
00:28:31.119 --> 00:28:32.000
You as well.
00:28:32.400 --> 00:28:33.920
May you always find shade.
00:28:34.559 --> 00:28:35.200
And you.
00:28:38.400 --> 00:28:39.359
That's good.
00:28:39.680 --> 00:28:44.720
Um yeah, I'll just uh do the do the shake again.
00:28:45.359 --> 00:28:46.559
Grasp hands with you.
00:28:46.799 --> 00:28:48.000
Alright, let's go.
00:28:48.240 --> 00:28:48.880
Alright.
00:28:49.119 --> 00:28:54.319
I take a little read from my pocket and just soundlessly blow on it, and I cast message to Ilya.
00:28:54.400 --> 00:28:54.559
No.
00:28:55.039 --> 00:28:56.079
Where are you guys?
00:29:01.039 --> 00:29:01.759
God damn it.
00:29:01.920 --> 00:29:05.440
Uh Phil is also coming up to get you.
00:29:05.920 --> 00:29:08.240
We're on the top level past the stairs.
00:29:08.319 --> 00:29:09.279
We found class.
00:29:09.599 --> 00:29:10.400
Find a message.
00:29:12.400 --> 00:29:14.480
And I immediately start climbing again.
00:29:14.559 --> 00:29:14.720
Yeah.
00:29:15.039 --> 00:29:19.759
And then pretty like you with your uh you've done this now, so you don't have to roll again.
00:29:19.839 --> 00:29:19.920
Okay.
00:29:20.240 --> 00:29:30.319
But uh you you climb your way up the uh up the rigging very quickly, and once you get the elevation, you see as Shaw and Ilya enter in.
00:29:30.559 --> 00:29:33.119
Oh yeah, well we'll go to Shaw first because you're still down on the first.
00:29:33.920 --> 00:29:35.200
You're down on the landing, so I'm gonna go.
00:29:35.440 --> 00:29:36.720
Yeah, I don't know what timing would be wise.
00:29:36.799 --> 00:29:38.319
Does it seem like we're just waiting for him to get here?
00:29:38.400 --> 00:29:39.279
I am worried about it.
00:29:39.839 --> 00:29:41.519
Like you don't you don't have to wait.
00:29:41.599 --> 00:29:46.400
So Elya is had to like send the messages and talked and stuff like that, and is also below you.
00:29:46.559 --> 00:29:47.680
You were up on the deck.
00:29:47.759 --> 00:29:47.920
Yeah.
00:29:48.079 --> 00:29:49.599
So what does Shaw do, I guess, first?
00:29:49.759 --> 00:29:52.720
Um the first thing I would do is look to see where Ilya's at and kind of get her.
00:29:53.359 --> 00:29:54.960
I would have been following the bug.
00:29:55.200 --> 00:30:03.279
If he went up to where they were, uh if Grax went up to where they were, I would have been following behind them, and then that's where I go boo goodbye.
00:30:04.160 --> 00:30:05.119
Right at the door.
00:30:05.440 --> 00:30:07.039
Okay, well, Gracks so they were left.
00:30:07.359 --> 00:30:07.680
Oh, they left.
00:30:07.920 --> 00:30:13.279
Yeah, so if you've yeah, they they like you were on that landing and they like met and like brushed past you.
00:30:16.319 --> 00:30:20.640
And I'll say like you get caught on the stairs and you get the messages, and that gives you a little moment of pause.
00:30:21.279 --> 00:30:21.759
Yeah, okay.
00:30:22.000 --> 00:30:31.279
As you like kind of stop to like look around, get your bearings, say where you guys are, and Shaw, you like you hear her, and if you peek around the corner, you would see Elia.
00:30:31.759 --> 00:30:32.240
What are you doing?
00:30:32.480 --> 00:30:33.440
I'm coming, I'm coming, people.
00:30:34.880 --> 00:30:35.920
She's yelling at me.
00:30:36.160 --> 00:30:37.359
There's no one here but me.
00:30:38.480 --> 00:30:40.240
Let's go! Come on, we can't let him get away.
00:30:40.640 --> 00:30:40.799
Yeah.
00:30:41.200 --> 00:30:42.319
Alright, I'll go in with Elia.
00:30:42.400 --> 00:30:43.200
I'll push the curtain open.
00:30:43.519 --> 00:30:44.400
Legs first.
00:30:45.440 --> 00:30:46.160
Alright.
00:30:46.400 --> 00:30:47.759
Um, okay.
00:30:48.079 --> 00:30:57.759
As you two enter into this room, uh, you see a um, you see sitting at the table, uh you see two individuals.
00:30:58.240 --> 00:31:04.960
On the left, you see a large, thick, heavy set um gentleman.
00:31:05.039 --> 00:31:16.240
He's wearing, you can see like he's wearing first sprouting, you know, colors, but he is still uh armed and does appear to have like some semblance of like armor on his personality.
00:31:17.200 --> 00:31:22.000
Um it looks like let me see.
00:31:22.319 --> 00:31:25.759
Big cute thing.
00:31:26.000 --> 00:31:48.480
Uh so like underneath the so you see like a um uh a sort of like pastelli orange, uh somewhat nice like shirt um and a leather, like you know, sleeveless vest, but then underneath between the orange shirt and that leather, you can see the glint of like chain, like a chain shirt um underneath it.
00:31:48.799 --> 00:31:52.799
Um and it like slightly pokes out at like the sleeve area.
00:31:53.039 --> 00:32:00.720
Um you see that behind him, like leaning against the wall, um, you see a very uh heavy-looking mace.
00:32:01.279 --> 00:32:11.039
Um and then he also uh in his lap, just like very casually across his lap, he has what looks like a crossbow that is currently that is loaded.
00:32:11.599 --> 00:32:12.079
Great.
00:32:12.720 --> 00:32:13.359
Amazing.
00:32:13.759 --> 00:32:14.720
So that's that's him.
00:32:14.799 --> 00:32:17.039
That's one and then to the right.
00:32:17.279 --> 00:32:34.559
I'm just um to the right, you see, and you catch a glimpse of this before you enter in, but you see um tucking away, uh, you see like the glint of uh of a blade of some kind as it is tucked away um very quickly, like behind where you can't see it.
00:32:34.960 --> 00:32:37.759
Um but you do see some kind of what appears to be like a dagger or a knife.
00:32:38.799 --> 00:32:42.000
Um that is right.
00:32:42.240 --> 00:32:51.599
Um and you see a uh yeah, you see that kind of go away very quick, very fast hands.
00:32:51.759 --> 00:32:52.079
Uh-huh.
00:32:52.319 --> 00:32:59.839
You see the gentleman class as he has been described to you, thick, heavily muscled, big, bunched shoulders.
00:32:59.920 --> 00:33:11.119
Um, the sort of like kind of forward, like rounded forward, heavily muscled look of somebody who maybe spends a lot of time like lifting, dragging, working, hugging.
00:33:11.279 --> 00:33:12.480
Yeah, hugging.
00:33:12.720 --> 00:33:13.920
He gives the best hugs.
00:33:14.079 --> 00:33:15.519
Uh he's a hugger, clearly.
00:33:15.599 --> 00:33:15.759
Yeah.
00:33:16.000 --> 00:33:17.039
He's so sweet.
00:33:17.279 --> 00:33:19.279
Um I hope so.
00:33:19.680 --> 00:33:19.920
Uh good.
00:33:20.400 --> 00:33:29.279
As you guys walk in and you see he is wearing current at present, um, you see a like a nice um, oh, that is nope.
00:33:29.519 --> 00:33:31.279
That's first session notes.
00:33:31.599 --> 00:33:37.759
Just looking for names uh that I of our our resident uh what's it called?
00:33:38.079 --> 00:33:42.960
Your bells that you beat the hell out of in the in the in case you guys already talked about.
00:33:43.279 --> 00:33:44.160
Yeah, they're there.
00:33:44.400 --> 00:33:45.039
Yeah, yeah.
00:33:45.119 --> 00:33:46.319
Because they're like their bouncers.
00:33:46.400 --> 00:33:47.920
So in this room.
00:33:48.160 --> 00:33:48.880
No, no, no, no, no.
00:33:49.119 --> 00:33:49.839
Not in this room, sorry.
00:33:50.240 --> 00:33:51.039
They were downstairs.
00:33:51.119 --> 00:33:58.960
It was um Casimir Casimir Casimir and uh his name was Asimir and Boras.
00:33:59.359 --> 00:34:05.440
Yeah, Casimir Stone.
00:34:12.079 --> 00:34:12.639
That's the song.
00:34:12.960 --> 00:34:13.760
Oh my god.
00:34:16.239 --> 00:34:27.519
But you see a plain green shirt uh underneath a a brown vest, the color of good dirt, uh, underneath which you also see a um good, good, good dirt.
00:34:28.159 --> 00:34:29.840
The kind of the kind that grows stiff.
00:34:30.000 --> 00:34:31.039
Oh, good dirt.
00:34:31.280 --> 00:34:32.000
Love a good dirt.
00:34:32.320 --> 00:34:42.239
And on his body you see uh sort of again, kind of underneath that that vest, you see what looks like um you know hard leather.
00:34:42.719 --> 00:34:46.719
Um that is uh yeah, yeah, for class.
00:34:46.880 --> 00:35:03.199
And uh you see he has uh a dagger at his left hip, and then actually um or sort of like kind of tucked behind, and then right on the left you see actually a uh like a long curved or short curved um scimitar.
00:35:03.840 --> 00:35:12.960
Uh not as big as Karnax, but uh but um yeah, as he sort of leans back.
00:35:14.320 --> 00:35:17.360
Well, this isn't a tent for us when I start making out it.
00:35:18.000 --> 00:35:20.000
We thought it was Hello friend, what's her name?
00:35:21.760 --> 00:35:24.400
Oh, um Wait, class!
00:35:25.119 --> 00:35:26.000
Alright.
00:35:27.599 --> 00:35:30.719
And I I I go up to the table and sit down.
00:35:30.800 --> 00:35:31.039
Uh-huh.
00:35:31.199 --> 00:35:33.360
And I'm I play off that I am a little bit.
00:35:33.519 --> 00:35:39.119
You see as the uh as the the gentleman, the heavy set gentleman next to him kind of goes to like stand and clashes.
00:35:40.719 --> 00:35:41.280
Hello.
00:35:41.519 --> 00:35:42.320
It's alright, friend.
00:35:42.400 --> 00:35:42.800
It's alright.
00:35:44.719 --> 00:35:45.360
I recognize you.
00:35:45.440 --> 00:35:48.800
Yes, you um you give me my drinks when I'm at the Red Thorn.
00:35:49.039 --> 00:35:49.280
Of course.
00:35:50.159 --> 00:35:54.480
And you, uh you are the daughter of um Mr.
00:35:54.639 --> 00:35:55.599
Reese, yes?
00:35:55.760 --> 00:35:56.159
Mm-hmm.
00:35:57.039 --> 00:35:58.480
At the shop in town.
00:35:58.800 --> 00:35:59.440
Yes.
00:35:59.679 --> 00:36:00.000
Yeah.
00:36:01.440 --> 00:36:02.159
Parrot shops.
00:36:02.400 --> 00:36:02.639
So.
00:36:02.880 --> 00:36:04.559
Are you guys making house in here?
00:36:04.800 --> 00:36:05.599
I thought so.
00:36:05.840 --> 00:36:11.760
Is that we were looking for a place, but we realized, yes.
00:36:11.920 --> 00:36:16.559
Um we were passionately embraced just a moment ago.
00:36:16.719 --> 00:36:21.039
But um uh and you have uh barge din on us, so uh sorry.
00:36:21.360 --> 00:36:23.280
But perhaps you could go to find your own place.
00:36:23.360 --> 00:36:25.920
It sounds like that is something that you might be interested in doing, yes?
00:36:26.239 --> 00:36:27.280
Unless you want to.
00:36:27.760 --> 00:36:29.119
I mean, there's plenty of hands.
00:36:29.599 --> 00:36:31.280
That's okay, I'm uh spoken for.
00:36:31.440 --> 00:36:32.800
But Oh, you are?
00:36:33.199 --> 00:36:33.440
Yes.
00:36:34.000 --> 00:36:37.440
Um Where are you with them at first sprouting then?
00:36:38.480 --> 00:36:39.519
They're busy.
00:36:40.079 --> 00:36:42.320
Oh, wait, wait, but it's first sprouting.
00:36:42.400 --> 00:36:43.280
No one should be busy.
00:36:43.519 --> 00:36:45.280
Yes, take a load off, have some fun.
00:36:45.519 --> 00:36:46.960
Do you want the last of my whiskey?
00:36:47.039 --> 00:36:48.159
It's basically gone.
00:36:48.320 --> 00:36:49.599
Uh thank you.
00:36:49.760 --> 00:36:55.519
And he kind of reaches, you see, like he reaches down, like and pulls up like a cup that you see like a slight liquid in.
00:36:55.599 --> 00:36:58.800
And I'll hold my empty whiskey thing that I found on the ground.
00:36:58.960 --> 00:36:59.599
Yeah.
00:37:00.400 --> 00:37:01.519
Just a bit.
00:37:02.239 --> 00:37:03.760
Oh, you oh you're asking for something.
00:37:03.920 --> 00:37:04.480
I'm out, yes.
00:37:04.639 --> 00:37:06.079
It'd be great to try it.
00:37:06.639 --> 00:37:08.239
It is for sprouting after all.
00:37:09.039 --> 00:37:11.519
And put some whiskey in your cup.
00:37:11.679 --> 00:37:12.239
We'll drink it.
00:37:13.440 --> 00:37:13.920
Welcome.
00:37:14.480 --> 00:37:19.840
But um Is there a and nothing else?
00:37:20.639 --> 00:37:27.760
I'm trying to, because I know he was closer to us, but I don't know like how long it would take them.
00:37:28.159 --> 00:37:28.480
Okay.
00:37:28.880 --> 00:37:31.519
So I'm just gonna oh god, oh god, oh god, oh god.
00:37:32.000 --> 00:37:34.000
Um trying to buy time.
00:37:34.079 --> 00:37:46.079
Um class, I you know, I thought we could just um have a conversation, you know, it's first routing.
00:37:46.800 --> 00:37:48.159
Tell the truth.
00:37:48.559 --> 00:37:52.559
Um tell the truth.
00:37:52.880 --> 00:38:03.119
Um and sit as friends while we have drinks and hopefully answer some questions we have.
00:38:03.679 --> 00:38:06.400
I think that's yeah, a formal letter.
00:38:07.360 --> 00:38:10.159
I'm gonna cast because it's just a vocal component.
00:38:10.480 --> 00:38:11.599
Suggestion.
00:38:13.199 --> 00:38:14.559
Oh, I like it.
00:38:14.719 --> 00:38:15.679
I like it.
00:38:16.079 --> 00:38:16.320
Okay.
00:38:16.880 --> 00:38:17.360
Uh-oh.
00:38:17.920 --> 00:38:20.000
And it's a saving throw.
00:38:20.960 --> 00:38:21.199
Okay.
00:38:22.400 --> 00:38:26.480
Suggestion, specifically, the verbal components of suggestion are the words that you say.
00:38:26.639 --> 00:38:26.880
Oh.
00:38:27.679 --> 00:38:27.840
Right?
00:38:28.320 --> 00:38:29.920
So that's like the spell.
00:38:30.000 --> 00:38:30.320
That's the double.
00:38:30.880 --> 00:38:31.440
We can double tell you.
00:38:31.920 --> 00:38:32.960
Yeah, that's a point of it.
00:38:33.039 --> 00:38:35.760
It's a spell that always bothers me when it's worded.
00:38:36.079 --> 00:38:36.559
Yeah, yeah.
00:38:36.639 --> 00:38:38.239
It's I mean, yeah, have a conversation.
00:38:38.960 --> 00:38:45.119
A course of activity described in no more than 25 words to one creature you see within range that can hear and understand you.
00:38:45.199 --> 00:38:50.960
The suggestion must sound achievable and not involve anything that would obviously deal damage to the target allies.
00:38:51.199 --> 00:38:52.960
For example, you can say fetch the blah blah blah.
00:38:53.119 --> 00:38:53.519
This is so good.
00:38:53.679 --> 00:39:00.639
Um, the target can must succeed a wisdom-saving throw for the duration, or until you or your allies damage the target.
00:39:01.039 --> 00:39:01.360
Okay.
00:39:02.800 --> 00:39:06.400
Then they are charmed by me.
00:39:06.639 --> 00:39:07.039
Interesting.
00:39:07.280 --> 00:39:08.159
A charming individual.
00:39:08.719 --> 00:39:09.440
I'm just a girl.
00:39:09.760 --> 00:39:20.800
A reading of the spell tells it's kind of weird, but I'm gonna go ahead and say that at this table, because otherwise it seems to me to not really have the same social utility that it feels like the spell is intended for.
00:39:21.440 --> 00:39:21.679
Right?
00:39:21.760 --> 00:39:25.440
Which is like, so the the verbal component is the words that you speak.
00:39:26.000 --> 00:39:29.199
Um I'm just gonna go ahead and say that because that makes it that also is more fun.
00:39:29.360 --> 00:39:29.519
Yes.
00:39:29.760 --> 00:39:33.599
Um they don't he doesn't know that I'm casting a spell.
00:39:33.679 --> 00:39:36.559
It doesn't say like if it fails, then he's like aggressive towards me.
00:39:38.239 --> 00:39:41.920
It doesn't say because it used to, I feel like legacy or no?
00:39:42.239 --> 00:39:45.199
The suggestive activity can continue uh yeah, it doesn't say anything.
00:39:45.599 --> 00:39:46.000
Like about one.
00:39:46.239 --> 00:39:47.440
It doesn't say you got it up too, right?
00:39:47.519 --> 00:39:48.719
Is it legacy or you got the new one?
00:39:49.360 --> 00:39:51.199
But it's a just it's it's this is the new one.
00:39:51.519 --> 00:39:53.920
And it it just says it's there's so it's not like friends.
00:39:54.400 --> 00:39:55.599
It used to be like the target nerd.
00:39:55.920 --> 00:39:57.519
Yeah, I think friends are charming person, doesn't it?
00:39:57.679 --> 00:40:02.320
Which again, it feels like the the point of this spell, it feels like it should be it should be a subtle thing.
00:40:03.599 --> 00:40:04.400
Um it might be fun.
00:40:06.400 --> 00:40:07.119
Yeah, okay.
00:40:07.199 --> 00:40:08.079
Go what's the same?
00:40:08.320 --> 00:40:10.239
Okay, so it's a it's a wisdom saving throw.
00:40:11.599 --> 00:40:13.519
Yes, wisdom saving 16.
00:40:13.679 --> 00:40:14.719
Please don't be wise.
00:40:14.960 --> 00:40:15.360
Classes?
00:40:15.599 --> 00:40:15.760
Okay.
00:40:15.840 --> 00:40:16.719
Yeah, he's probably stupid.
00:40:16.960 --> 00:40:21.360
He's probably so strong and not and constituted.
00:40:21.760 --> 00:40:22.559
He seems pretty wise.
00:40:22.639 --> 00:40:25.039
He's gonna shut up, shut up.
00:40:25.599 --> 00:40:26.000
Shut up!
00:40:27.360 --> 00:40:28.719
He's making a lot of friends.
00:40:29.440 --> 00:40:33.280
We're gonna go ahead and tell him.
00:40:33.760 --> 00:40:34.480
You don't know nothing.
00:40:34.880 --> 00:40:35.519
He could roll low.
00:40:35.760 --> 00:40:39.119
Low, low, please, low, please, low, low, low, low, low, low.
00:40:39.760 --> 00:40:40.639
Natural 20.
00:40:43.039 --> 00:40:46.960
That sounds like a perfect perfectly reasonable um ask.
00:40:47.280 --> 00:40:47.920
Yeah.
00:40:48.400 --> 00:40:51.440
You want to tell your friend to drop the crossbow though?
00:40:51.599 --> 00:40:53.119
We're all just friends here.
00:40:53.760 --> 00:40:54.559
Put it away.
00:40:55.920 --> 00:40:58.719
And I store a few alcohol to our member.
00:41:00.079 --> 00:41:18.559
And uh and the the giant man who has not spoken just and like reaches to the to the like triggering mechanism and he like pulls the the string, undoes the bolt, pulls the string, and puts it over on against the wall, just like leans it up against the wall.
00:41:18.800 --> 00:41:27.199
And your name was Elia Shaw, class, and he probably told it to me once or twice at the bar, I just forget.
00:41:27.840 --> 00:41:28.239
Dale.
00:41:29.039 --> 00:41:29.599
That's funny.
00:41:29.679 --> 00:41:30.559
I was gonna say Dale.
00:41:30.719 --> 00:41:31.360
Something with a D.
00:41:31.599 --> 00:41:33.039
He has an odd high voice.
00:41:33.440 --> 00:41:35.760
Like when you know when a giant person has a very high voice.
00:41:37.760 --> 00:41:39.199
Hey, good to see you again, friend.
00:41:39.280 --> 00:41:41.679
Um Do you have any alcohol or anything?
00:41:42.000 --> 00:41:42.880
I ran out of mind.
00:41:43.199 --> 00:41:43.920
I did too as well.
00:41:44.639 --> 00:41:45.599
Do you mind getting us something?
00:41:46.079 --> 00:41:47.840
You guys are really into first sprouting, aren't you?
00:41:48.159 --> 00:41:49.280
You know, it only comes once a year.
00:41:49.440 --> 00:41:51.039
It should be my 15th.
00:41:51.280 --> 00:41:51.920
16th?
00:41:52.079 --> 00:41:52.559
15th.
00:41:52.960 --> 00:41:53.599
16th?
00:41:53.840 --> 00:41:54.639
Something.
00:41:55.039 --> 00:41:55.599
Alright.
00:41:55.840 --> 00:41:58.079
Oh, I believe I was a few days late to the last one.
00:41:58.159 --> 00:41:59.440
I think this is my first.
00:42:00.880 --> 00:42:01.920
First first sprouting.
00:42:02.079 --> 00:42:02.480
I know.
00:42:02.559 --> 00:42:03.840
I'm really excited.
00:42:04.079 --> 00:42:08.079
Um and he looks over at class.
00:42:09.599 --> 00:42:10.719
God damn it.
00:42:11.119 --> 00:42:14.480
Who I'm sweating.
00:42:15.280 --> 00:42:18.400
My pants are just He is currently charmed by you.
00:42:18.559 --> 00:42:21.440
Oh, Ilya, two for two, baby.
00:42:21.519 --> 00:42:22.320
This is so good.
00:42:22.639 --> 00:42:23.280
Oh god.
00:42:23.519 --> 00:42:23.760
Very good.
00:42:24.239 --> 00:42:24.880
I'm sweating.
00:42:25.039 --> 00:42:25.920
You're heading.
00:42:26.559 --> 00:42:28.079
Who gets a drink?
00:42:28.639 --> 00:42:32.320
Stands up, walks out, curtains.
00:42:32.719 --> 00:42:36.000
At which point Ramsey is like right there.
00:42:36.559 --> 00:42:36.960
It's like one.
00:42:37.280 --> 00:42:37.599
Yeah.
00:42:38.559 --> 00:42:41.760
Um sprouting.
00:42:44.239 --> 00:42:46.719
And uh nice view up here, yeah?
00:42:47.679 --> 00:42:49.440
Um yeah.
00:42:49.760 --> 00:42:55.679
And he just walks away because like he doesn't think that you're trying to get in here necessarily.
00:42:56.079 --> 00:42:56.800
And you're just walking around.
00:42:57.039 --> 00:43:01.840
He just yeah, you're just there, and he's like, all right, and he walks, he walks down the stairs.
00:43:02.079 --> 00:43:12.719
Um and as he walks down the stairs, the two of you going up see a very tall, very heavily muscled man just past you.
00:43:12.880 --> 00:43:13.519
Excuse me.
00:43:13.760 --> 00:43:16.320
And possible, sorry.
00:43:16.400 --> 00:43:21.199
Uh we'll come back to their afterbreak.
00:43:24.719 --> 00:43:25.360

Munch, just come in!
00:44:17.599 --> 00:44:18.400
Push the door open.
00:44:18.480 --> 00:44:18.880
You can do it.
00:44:19.039 --> 00:44:20.159
You can do it, you're so strong.
00:44:20.239 --> 00:44:21.440
Push the There you go.
00:44:21.599 --> 00:44:21.920
Push.
00:44:22.159 --> 00:44:23.280
Push a little harder.
00:44:23.519 --> 00:44:25.119
Push the door, you little rat.
00:44:25.280 --> 00:44:36.800

00:44:51.119 --> 00:44:53.679
Our Patreon members are the Lifeblood Adventure Forth.
00:44:53.920 --> 00:44:58.800

00:44:59.440 --> 00:45:00.639
Somewhere.
00:45:00.960 --> 00:45:01.760
It's it's there.
00:45:02.320 --> 00:45:02.639
It's there.
00:45:02.719 --> 00:45:03.760
I promise it's there.
00:45:04.400 --> 00:45:06.559
Forth Adventure.
00:45:07.360 --> 00:45:08.719
Forth the Venture.
00:45:09.440 --> 00:45:10.559
Yeah, got him.
00:45:10.880 --> 00:45:12.239
Oh, hey, what's happening?
00:45:12.400 --> 00:45:14.559
Just beat myself in a little tic-tac-toe, don't worry about that.
00:45:14.639 --> 00:45:19.440
But hey, what you should know is that I am the Herald of Holopot.
00:45:19.840 --> 00:45:30.159
And I'm here to talk to you about Holopot's Herald, a newsletter in video format that you may watch to learn a little bit about the Venture Fourth.
00:45:30.320 --> 00:45:31.199
Get out of here, Lint.
00:45:31.360 --> 00:45:33.920
The Venture Forth team and behind-the-scenes action.
00:45:34.000 --> 00:45:47.199
I'm gonna give you updates on what's happening with cons, DM office hours, Patreon, Seth dropping supplements and magic items and all beasties and all kinds of fun stuff for you in the chaos of Rust, because you can just never tell.
00:45:47.360 --> 00:45:49.039
And also interviews of the cast.
00:45:49.119 --> 00:45:51.119
I will be interviewing the cast from time to time.
00:45:51.360 --> 00:45:53.760
Brought for you specifically.
00:45:53.920 --> 00:45:55.039
Now, let me tell you what you gotta do.
00:45:55.119 --> 00:45:55.760
I got a checklist here.
00:45:55.920 --> 00:45:56.559
So one thing for me.
00:45:56.639 --> 00:45:57.599
Okay, what you gotta do?
00:45:57.679 --> 00:45:58.719
You gotta go to Patreon.
00:45:58.800 --> 00:46:00.320
And to go to Patreon, you're gonna sign up.
00:46:00.480 --> 00:46:01.039
Free member.
00:46:01.119 --> 00:46:02.079
You don't have to click pay.
00:46:02.159 --> 00:46:05.840
And then boom, you're gonna get updates for when the Herald drops.
00:46:06.000 --> 00:46:10.559
Now, a couple days after that, the words edition is gonna come out because some of you like to read.
00:46:10.639 --> 00:46:13.039
Oh, also from time to time I answer questions from the Discord.
00:46:13.119 --> 00:46:16.880
Sometimes people in Discord ask questions, and if I catch it, I'm gonna put it in the newsletter.
00:46:17.039 --> 00:46:21.760
So, chain, chain, chain, chain, chain.
00:46:22.800 --> 00:46:24.159
What do I go next?
00:46:26.000 --> 00:46:31.840
Hey ventures, this episode of Venture Fourth is sponsored by Dungeons Co., the makers of the Dungeons Box.
00:46:32.000 --> 00:46:34.960
This next generation Dungeons box is more than just a dice tray.
00:46:35.039 --> 00:46:39.119
It's real wood, sleek, minimal, and it holds everything you need to stay focused on the game.
00:46:39.280 --> 00:46:44.960
It's got a bigger vault, more dice storage, a built-in rolling tray, and a stand that actually holds a full-size tablet.
00:46:45.039 --> 00:46:46.960
But the coolest part is this piece right here.
00:46:47.119 --> 00:46:49.039
Snap it on the side, and it's a dice tower.
00:46:49.119 --> 00:46:52.639
And when you're not using it, twist it, snap it back on, and now it's holding your dice.
00:46:52.800 --> 00:46:56.559
The Kickstarter ends soon on September 10th, so check out the Dungeon the Box today.
00:46:56.800 --> 00:46:57.440
Hey.
00:46:57.760 --> 00:46:58.639
Hey you.
00:46:59.360 --> 00:47:01.840
Are you watching on Twitch right now?
00:47:02.800 --> 00:47:06.800
If so, do you have an Amazon Prime account?
00:47:07.119 --> 00:47:10.559
Are you using your Twitch Prime subscription?
00:47:10.719 --> 00:47:13.039
If you have an Amazon Prime, you also have this.
00:47:13.199 --> 00:47:14.400
Maybe you just don't know how to use it.
00:47:14.559 --> 00:47:16.400
Maybe you're a computer illiterate like me.
00:47:16.639 --> 00:47:17.280
That's fine.
00:47:17.519 --> 00:47:18.320
Here's how you do it.
00:47:18.559 --> 00:47:23.679
Twitch subscribers get access to exclusive channels in our little Discord as well as emotes in our chat.
00:47:23.840 --> 00:47:27.039
So if you have a free Prime membership, you may as well use it.
00:47:27.199 --> 00:47:29.519
Yeah, that's great, Rebecca, but what if they're watching on YouTube?
00:47:29.679 --> 00:47:30.719
Hi, YouTube nerds.
00:47:30.800 --> 00:47:32.079
First off, we love you too.
00:47:32.239 --> 00:47:34.239
Secondly, have you checked out YouTube membership yet?
00:47:34.320 --> 00:47:38.159
YouTube members get access to all episode VODs after stream day, so you're never waiting around.
00:47:38.320 --> 00:47:46.480
Plus, you get access to behind the scenes videos like our campaign 2 session zero, where we follow the party earlier in the day before they arrive at fight night in episode one.
00:47:46.719 --> 00:47:47.679
Pretty freaking cool, right?
00:47:47.760 --> 00:47:54.000
And if you're in the stream, you get access to cool venture forth emojis exclusive to you, which is also pretty freaking cool.
00:47:54.159 --> 00:47:54.719
Don't you think?
00:47:55.599 --> 00:47:59.679
Scan this QR code here or here or Shane, where'd you put it?
00:47:59.920 --> 00:48:00.800
Not on my face, right?
00:48:00.960 --> 00:48:01.920
Don't put it on my face.
00:48:02.079 --> 00:48:04.639
Or check out the link in the description below if you're interested.
00:48:04.800 --> 00:48:06.559
We really appreciate every single one of you.
00:48:06.719 --> 00:48:07.840
Enjoy the rest of the short rest.
00:48:08.000 --> 00:48:09.119
Bye, nerds.
00:53:27.920 --> 00:53:29.920
So the two of you come up the stairs.
00:53:32.079 --> 00:53:32.559
Excuse me.
00:53:32.719 --> 00:53:46.639
Uh Ramsey, you see, uh you hear, like, as the footsteps fade, you hear additional footsteps come up, and then around the corner, you see uh Phil and Vale as you are just outside of the of the area.
00:53:46.960 --> 00:53:49.119
Um, and I'll I'll flag him down.
00:53:49.440 --> 00:53:49.599
Okay.
00:53:51.360 --> 00:53:52.719
Why are you climbing up that way?
00:53:53.119 --> 00:53:55.199
Well, I'm full- I'm like, I'm how far away am I?
00:53:55.519 --> 00:54:00.480
If I'm on like the platform, because I I would have climbed up the rigging and like I'm on the platform now that contains the teeth.
00:54:00.639 --> 00:54:01.039
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:54:01.519 --> 00:54:02.719
We just took the stairs up though, right?
00:54:02.800 --> 00:54:03.760
We didn't have to climb the rigging.
00:54:03.920 --> 00:54:06.559
No, but there's multiple like that's things multiple weird ways.
00:54:06.800 --> 00:54:06.880
Yeah.
00:54:07.119 --> 00:54:16.719
There's like because the sailing rigging is like it's not really intended to get up there, but it goes so close to it that like there's uh up there.
00:54:17.199 --> 00:54:17.920
Sorry.
00:54:18.239 --> 00:54:19.519
Why are you climbing?
00:54:19.840 --> 00:54:21.519
Oh, um it's fun.
00:54:22.239 --> 00:54:22.559
Alright.
00:54:22.800 --> 00:54:26.400
I know you're not familiar with that concept, it's not the thing that occurs to you actually.
00:54:26.960 --> 00:54:27.760
But Ilya?
00:54:27.840 --> 00:54:28.000
Yes.
00:54:28.159 --> 00:54:28.719
Oh, I don't know.
00:54:28.960 --> 00:54:29.599
Should I have lost her?
00:54:29.679 --> 00:54:29.920
Oh no.
00:54:30.000 --> 00:54:31.280
Oh dear, where could I be?
00:54:31.519 --> 00:54:32.400
She's right inside the tent.
00:54:34.480 --> 00:54:37.440
And you guys can't hear the exchange of the hand.
00:54:37.760 --> 00:54:38.800
I wanna kiss so good.
00:54:41.920 --> 00:54:46.239
Um, you sit down, you're in the room with class.
00:54:46.320 --> 00:54:47.920
He is he appears very comfortable.
00:54:48.000 --> 00:54:56.880
Um, he's got his, you know, he's kind of leaned back, he's got his arms crossed, he's uh he's got a drink in his hand, and yeah, he's just kind of looking at you guys.
00:54:56.960 --> 00:55:00.320
So Class, you're just you're really good at making deals.
00:55:01.280 --> 00:55:02.800
Like some of the best.
00:55:03.840 --> 00:55:04.239
Thank you.
00:55:04.960 --> 00:55:05.360
I suppose.
00:55:05.679 --> 00:55:19.360
Yeah, like if we wanted to learn, I know that like you weren't with the bugbears, but like that seems pretty dangerous, or I don't know.
00:55:19.440 --> 00:55:21.679
I I wouldn't be able to do something like that.
00:55:22.000 --> 00:55:22.800
What do you mean?
00:55:23.039 --> 00:55:29.280
Well, you said you weren't sleeping with them, so I was supposing that you were I don't know, you're a businessman.
00:55:29.599 --> 00:55:31.199
The ones that left the tent shortly after.
00:55:31.760 --> 00:55:34.400
The one that you said you weren't sleeping with.
00:55:34.960 --> 00:55:36.880
Well, that was the the pair of the men, I think.
00:55:37.519 --> 00:55:37.840
Oh.
00:55:38.880 --> 00:55:40.559
I think you're getting things confused.
00:55:41.039 --> 00:55:47.280
I think with with the intimacy, maybe, but um, they were definitely in the tent and Yeah.
00:55:47.679 --> 00:55:50.159
They had um Yeah, I think I wouldn't have to.
00:55:50.480 --> 00:56:00.719
Yeah, and then you see he he goes there, and then he like looks and clocks the three of you kind of standing there on the other side of the uh of the uh we all three of us were looking for a place to make out.
00:56:01.119 --> 00:56:02.239
This is a temperature.
00:56:06.320 --> 00:56:08.639
Yes, and I kick out a chair.
00:56:09.920 --> 00:56:10.880
Friends of yours?
00:56:11.280 --> 00:56:11.599
Yeah.
00:56:11.760 --> 00:56:13.280
Uh Phil, you know Phil.
00:56:13.440 --> 00:56:13.920
Hi class.
00:56:14.239 --> 00:56:14.719
Philippa.
00:56:14.960 --> 00:56:16.159
Uh but this hello.
00:56:16.639 --> 00:56:17.199
Nice to see you.
00:56:18.000 --> 00:56:20.960
Ah, you are the uh stranger I have heard of.
00:56:21.199 --> 00:56:21.760
The Vale.
00:56:22.000 --> 00:56:22.480
The Vale.
00:56:22.719 --> 00:56:22.880
Yeah.
00:56:23.119 --> 00:56:23.679
Thank you.
00:56:24.079 --> 00:56:27.360
Um, it's a pleasure to um make your acquaintance.
00:56:27.840 --> 00:56:30.639
I heard uh very interesting rumor about you tonight.
00:56:30.880 --> 00:56:33.519
Uh-oh, rumors! How far's the governor?
00:56:35.840 --> 00:56:37.039
I don't know.
00:56:38.559 --> 00:56:39.920
I think a deception check.
00:56:42.480 --> 00:56:43.280
You got this.
00:56:43.360 --> 00:56:44.480
You're so deceptive.
00:56:44.719 --> 00:56:45.679
No, he's not.
00:56:47.440 --> 00:56:48.880
He lies every day.
00:56:50.719 --> 00:56:51.760
He just doesn't know he's doing it.
00:56:52.480 --> 00:56:53.840
That's a four for three?
00:56:54.400 --> 00:56:54.719
Oh.
00:56:54.960 --> 00:56:55.360
Cool.
00:56:55.519 --> 00:56:55.840
Okay.
00:56:57.599 --> 00:57:01.280
And this is the friend, uh Ramsey.
00:57:02.559 --> 00:57:06.239
I've heard a tale of your um abilities with that instrument you carry.
00:57:06.719 --> 00:57:07.360
Supposed to be better than that.
00:57:09.840 --> 00:57:10.719
Ah, I believe it.
00:57:11.199 --> 00:57:12.079
We all came back starting.
00:57:13.679 --> 00:57:17.199
We all met them um and became acquainted after the claim.
00:57:17.519 --> 00:57:19.519
After the claim that you know the world does.
00:57:19.840 --> 00:57:21.280
Yes, thank you so much for your help.
00:57:21.360 --> 00:57:26.719
Um I'm so glad to hear you made it back on one piece and and alive and no additional limbs.
00:57:27.039 --> 00:57:30.639
Uh it was um it was a very interesting thing.
00:57:30.800 --> 00:57:34.719
Um that chamber, that place you all saw it, I take it.
00:57:35.119 --> 00:57:35.519
Wild.
00:57:35.760 --> 00:57:37.280
Yes, very fascinating.
00:57:37.440 --> 00:57:39.360
Um like it.
00:57:40.000 --> 00:57:40.880
Indeed.
00:57:41.119 --> 00:57:48.159
But um, well, it is um from uh as I understand it, uh all things are well now that you have all been involved.
00:57:48.239 --> 00:57:54.719
So things are well, you know, but I heard the strangest rumor this w n this evening as well.
00:57:54.960 --> 00:57:56.239
Uh what was that?
00:57:56.639 --> 00:57:59.760
Gosh, I believe your name was bandied about.
00:57:59.840 --> 00:58:06.159
It was uh something about um commissioning um Poor Fox! Come Ilya.
00:58:06.480 --> 00:58:07.840
Sorry, I'm a little drunk.
00:58:08.079 --> 00:58:12.559
Something about commissioning um a theft by way of lizard folk.
00:58:12.880 --> 00:58:15.599
It's the sh the strangest rumor I've ever heard.
00:58:15.679 --> 00:58:17.679
Do you wouldn't know anything about that, right?
00:58:18.000 --> 00:58:19.039
Strange rumor indeed.
00:58:19.119 --> 00:58:20.400
I don't know why anybody would say.
00:58:20.639 --> 00:58:24.079
Oh, you should be careful, your name is being besmirched.
00:58:24.400 --> 00:58:27.199
I don't believe they would do that to our friend class like that.
00:58:27.599 --> 00:58:29.840
A reputation is something to be carefully maintained.
00:58:30.320 --> 00:58:30.880
Absolutely.
00:58:31.119 --> 00:58:32.239
Uh who told you this?
00:58:32.400 --> 00:58:33.840
I might uh have a word.
00:58:34.480 --> 00:58:40.960
The four the four um strangers in town who claim you gave them a note.
00:58:41.199 --> 00:58:42.639
Oh, interesting.
00:58:43.039 --> 00:58:48.559
Well, my name is uh been associated with, of course, everything that has happened at the claim.
00:58:48.639 --> 00:58:49.679
I was the four men in charge.
00:58:49.920 --> 00:58:50.239
Yes, yes.
00:58:50.559 --> 00:58:51.360
So is that reach?
00:58:51.760 --> 00:58:54.400
I I very well hope they don't still have that note.
00:58:54.639 --> 00:59:00.880
Because gosh, we would hate to find handwriting on it or something that would tie them to you.
00:59:01.920 --> 00:59:03.360
I'd like to sorry.
00:59:03.679 --> 00:59:07.280
I uh couldn't imagine they would have anything that would tie them to me.
00:59:07.519 --> 00:59:08.320
Well, I hope not.
00:59:08.800 --> 00:59:09.840
I like to look around the room.
00:59:09.920 --> 00:59:11.199
I heard that paper crumple.
00:59:11.280 --> 00:59:11.519
Yeah.
00:59:11.760 --> 00:59:14.400
Did they take it with them, it does it seem, or do I see a crumpled piece of paper?
00:59:14.880 --> 00:59:16.079
Make an investigation check for him.
00:59:16.239 --> 00:59:16.960
Just kinda take a look.
00:59:18.880 --> 00:59:22.639
Um while he's looking and they're talking.
00:59:23.920 --> 00:59:32.559
Uh I'm gonna cross my uh bracers and um finish.
00:59:32.880 --> 00:59:34.400
I roll, but yeah, go ahead, can you finish your thing?
00:59:34.559 --> 00:59:38.239
Uh cross my bracers and uh in Gith.
00:59:39.280 --> 00:59:50.880
So nobody here will know what I'm saying, but I'm going to say uh um I'm not sure how to make this work.
00:59:51.039 --> 00:59:58.639
I know the masters said that they could listen if they focused hard enough.
00:59:58.960 --> 01:00:00.800
So I'm going to try.
01:00:01.119 --> 01:00:03.519
And with that, cast attack thoughts.
01:00:04.800 --> 01:00:06.480
You can do it too.
01:00:06.800 --> 01:00:07.119
Okay.
01:00:10.639 --> 01:00:11.119
Here's the thing.
01:00:11.679 --> 01:00:17.920
You are I will say, you are casting a spell sitting across from the table from this person.
01:00:18.320 --> 01:00:19.039
I don't care.
01:00:19.280 --> 01:00:23.840
Uh what are read me your I think that's a target.
01:00:24.000 --> 01:00:26.480
Right, so sorry, not the spell, specifically your ability.
01:00:26.559 --> 01:00:29.920
Does it say you can cast detect thoughts without requiring components?
01:00:30.239 --> 01:00:32.079
Um It's only a vocal component.
01:00:32.559 --> 01:00:33.760
Right, but this is a racial feature.
01:00:33.920 --> 01:00:39.119
So without yes, without requiring material components, you can see the spell.
01:00:40.320 --> 01:00:42.159
Um yeah.
01:00:43.119 --> 01:00:44.480
Without requiring material.
01:00:44.880 --> 01:00:45.760
Without requiring material.
01:00:46.000 --> 01:00:50.480
So it is still detect thoughts in 2024 has verbal, somatic, and material.
01:00:50.719 --> 01:00:50.960
Oh.
01:00:51.199 --> 01:00:53.119
Um, so mine doesn't.
01:00:53.280 --> 01:00:54.159
Oh yes, it does.
01:00:54.239 --> 01:00:55.599
I was looking at the wrong spell.
01:00:56.079 --> 01:00:56.719
You dumped me though.
01:00:57.760 --> 01:00:59.840
There's five of us in the goddamn room.
01:01:00.239 --> 01:01:01.519
Oh, he can counter it.
01:01:02.239 --> 01:01:03.440
Counter this fist.
01:01:05.039 --> 01:01:09.599
Count of his dumbies.
01:01:12.880 --> 01:01:14.960
Like, no, stop, please.
01:01:15.119 --> 01:01:16.239
We're friends.
01:01:18.000 --> 01:01:20.480
He's already been casting the spell and can't change it.
01:01:21.039 --> 01:01:21.679
No, stop.
01:01:22.320 --> 01:01:22.559
Do something.
01:01:23.280 --> 01:01:24.239
You're already gonna trust me.
01:01:24.400 --> 01:01:28.400
So, Vale, you uh do this.
01:01:28.639 --> 01:01:29.199
Yeah, I do this.
01:01:29.519 --> 01:01:32.320
You cross your arms, yeah, you cast the spell.
01:01:32.559 --> 01:01:42.880
Um he like kind of, you know, you guys are mid-conversation, you said what you just said, you do that, and he says.
01:01:44.320 --> 01:01:51.440
Well, I think my um sprouting celebrations are concluded, so please have the room for Yora making out.
01:01:51.519 --> 01:01:53.920
And he stands up and walks out, or attempts to walk out.
01:01:54.239 --> 01:01:56.159
I think it'd be best for you to stay seated.
01:01:56.400 --> 01:01:57.679
I'll step in front of the door.
01:01:57.920 --> 01:02:00.400
I think it'd be best for you to get out of my way.
01:02:00.800 --> 01:02:01.840
I'm not moving.
01:02:02.159 --> 01:02:03.280
Neither am I.
01:02:03.920 --> 01:02:04.800
I'll move.
01:02:04.880 --> 01:02:09.599
Um to strike you in the face if you move uh any more than you already have.
01:02:10.960 --> 01:02:17.039
And I um will like open my jacket up, um, or you're still wearing your dress?
01:02:17.199 --> 01:02:17.760
I'm wearing a dress.
01:02:17.840 --> 01:02:19.039
Am I am I did I change?
01:02:19.119 --> 01:02:20.000
I doesn't matter.
01:02:21.199 --> 01:02:21.760
We went, you went home.
01:02:22.239 --> 01:02:22.639
I'm changed.
01:02:22.960 --> 01:02:23.360
I'm changed.
01:02:26.400 --> 01:02:32.239
So I will I I like um pit push push my coat back and you can see the revolver at my hip.
01:02:34.000 --> 01:02:34.880
I'm still in a gallery.
01:02:37.199 --> 01:02:38.880
And I don't hear anything.
01:02:40.639 --> 01:02:46.880
I get nothing from Oh, um no, you can't you cast you cast the spell.
01:02:47.119 --> 01:02:50.719
There's a save, so he can uh not until you probe deeper.
01:02:50.960 --> 01:02:52.880
I think at first you get surface thoughts.
01:02:52.960 --> 01:02:55.440
Let me reread it's a minute.
01:02:55.679 --> 01:02:58.800
You target an opponent, and they in order to target them, you have to do it.
01:02:58.960 --> 01:03:01.280
It's surface thoughts unless I probe deeper.
01:03:01.440 --> 01:03:02.079
Yeah.
01:03:02.960 --> 01:03:03.840
Are you probing?
01:03:04.480 --> 01:03:04.960
Yeah.
01:03:05.199 --> 01:03:07.440
Uh this is the makeout room.
01:03:07.679 --> 01:03:09.760
So that's what I hear.
01:03:11.039 --> 01:03:12.719
I wanted to make out with the bugbear so bad.
01:03:12.880 --> 01:03:13.440
I see that.
01:03:13.679 --> 01:03:13.920
Too late.
01:03:14.159 --> 01:03:14.480
Too late.
01:03:14.559 --> 01:03:14.800
He's dead.
01:03:16.480 --> 01:03:17.360
Cast the spell.
01:03:17.920 --> 01:03:26.320
Uh you see that uh class is looking, he's gone around the side of the table, and Phil has brandished her weapon.
01:03:27.920 --> 01:03:40.159
And Shaw said he's not moving, and you you sense in class's head um not fear, um, but he a calculation.
01:03:40.320 --> 01:03:42.639
Like he's you can sense him going.
01:03:43.119 --> 01:04:12.800
Like he's looking you up and down, he's looking you up and down, trying to figure out you basically kind of hear get the sense that he's j weighing and measuring whether or not he can beat you all, or whether or not he and you also see he like is not breaking eye contact, but he's mentally like doing the like exit routes.
01:04:18.960 --> 01:04:20.960
To what point and purpose?
01:04:21.280 --> 01:04:23.039
We just have some questions.
01:04:23.840 --> 01:04:25.840
What are you wrapping yourself up into?
01:04:26.800 --> 01:04:28.559
You're trying to protect BlackRock.
01:04:29.119 --> 01:04:30.239
Do I hear anything like that?
01:04:32.800 --> 01:04:33.119
Yeah.
01:04:33.440 --> 01:04:35.199
Yeah, now you see how hard it is.
01:04:35.519 --> 01:04:43.280
It only lasts a minute, so I probably maybe one um you see?
01:04:43.679 --> 01:04:45.039
She asks nicely.
01:04:45.199 --> 01:04:46.960
Maybe you should take some notes.
01:04:47.199 --> 01:04:48.639
And he sits down.
01:04:53.599 --> 01:04:55.199
I'm so glad you're listening.
01:04:55.519 --> 01:04:56.719
What do you want?
01:04:57.440 --> 01:05:04.079
Why are you trying to steal back something that you've already returned?
01:05:04.400 --> 01:05:05.840
I don't know what you're talking about.
01:05:06.079 --> 01:05:06.880
The lattice key.
01:05:07.039 --> 01:05:08.800
A 14-sided item.
01:05:09.199 --> 01:05:14.239
Why did you send a group of travelers to the lizard folk?
01:05:14.880 --> 01:05:15.519
Veil.
01:05:16.639 --> 01:05:17.360
Tech thoughts.
01:05:18.239 --> 01:05:27.760
When you say the lattice key, when you say to steal something like that you had, you don't like there's no register of.
01:05:43.679 --> 01:05:49.679
When he said you say the lattice key, there's like a you you kind of sense him like make that connection.
01:05:51.840 --> 01:05:52.480
Do probate?
01:05:53.599 --> 01:05:54.000
Do what?
01:05:54.159 --> 01:05:55.199
Have you done the probe thing?
01:05:55.519 --> 01:05:56.320
I haven't.
01:05:56.639 --> 01:05:58.719
I sent those.
01:06:00.239 --> 01:06:00.559
People.
01:06:01.840 --> 01:06:02.480
Send them not.
01:06:03.360 --> 01:06:04.880
I don't know what they were supposed to do.
01:06:05.840 --> 01:06:09.119
Why are you working with bad bugbears and lizard folk?
01:06:09.679 --> 01:06:10.719
What do you get out of it?
01:06:11.760 --> 01:06:13.360
I follow my instructions.
01:06:14.239 --> 01:06:15.840
And who is instructing you?
01:06:16.800 --> 01:06:18.719
I don't think that's any of your business.
01:06:19.519 --> 01:06:22.800
It is if um we like living here.
01:06:23.760 --> 01:06:25.119
You like living here, don't you?
01:06:25.679 --> 01:06:26.480
You like living?
01:06:27.599 --> 01:06:37.360
Last, I think we're you are getting involved in a thing that is going to st kill more people and destroy BlackRock.
01:06:37.599 --> 01:06:41.360
We're just trying to figure out who's pulling these strings.
01:06:47.519 --> 01:07:00.000
The lattice key that you brought back from the claim is all part of some grand conspiracy that is a terrible danger to BlackRock.
01:07:00.079 --> 01:07:04.159
It's the reason that there was an attack tonight at the governor's manse.
01:07:04.559 --> 01:07:14.480
That very object that your little crew of Cretans um were instructed by whomever instructed you to try and secure.
01:07:14.800 --> 01:07:24.079
So if you don't tell us who you're reporting to, whatever happened at the manse tonight is likely gonna end up on your lap as the blame.
01:07:24.559 --> 01:07:25.039
It is.
01:07:25.199 --> 01:07:27.519
It is uh partially your fault.
01:07:31.519 --> 01:07:34.719
Well, I suppose you make a compelling case for that.
01:07:35.599 --> 01:07:37.440
That is assuming, of course, they can find me.
01:07:38.719 --> 01:07:43.440
But I would simply tell them exactly what I can tell you.
01:07:44.159 --> 01:07:45.199
I get my instructions.
01:07:45.280 --> 01:07:46.159
They are sent to me.
01:07:47.440 --> 01:07:51.360
These things are well, let us just say above my pay grade.
01:07:52.400 --> 01:07:54.239
Everyone in this town is doing something they should.
01:07:54.880 --> 01:07:57.119
You do the bidding of an unknown servant.
01:07:57.840 --> 01:07:59.280
I receive my instructions.
01:08:03.039 --> 01:08:08.159
If you would care to let me explain, perhaps have a little bit of patience, maybe I can get there.
01:08:08.400 --> 01:08:09.519
Good luck with that.
01:08:11.360 --> 01:08:13.519
As I said, I get my instructions.
01:08:13.599 --> 01:08:14.559
They are sent to me.
01:08:14.719 --> 01:08:15.519
They arrive.
01:08:15.679 --> 01:08:20.000
I get notes, I get messages, and I get paid.
01:08:23.359 --> 01:08:25.039
Can we see one of these notes?
01:08:26.319 --> 01:08:26.640
No.
01:08:27.039 --> 01:08:30.479
Not because I don't have it, but because I destroy them when I am done.
01:08:30.640 --> 01:08:34.079
As you said, wouldn't want a piece of paper ending up in the wrong hands, would I?
01:08:34.399 --> 01:08:34.640
No.
01:08:36.399 --> 01:08:38.000
Where do you get them from?
01:08:39.039 --> 01:08:39.920
Creatures.
01:08:40.720 --> 01:08:41.520
Animals.
01:08:43.840 --> 01:08:44.640
Birds.
01:08:45.760 --> 01:08:48.079
Dogs and cats sometimes here in town.
01:08:49.439 --> 01:08:50.399
They arrive.
01:08:50.800 --> 01:08:52.239
Give me instructions.
01:08:54.079 --> 01:08:55.840
I follow these instructions.
01:08:57.439 --> 01:08:59.039
And I'm given money.
01:08:59.680 --> 01:09:02.239
How did you start into this business?
01:09:03.199 --> 01:09:07.920
They can send them to find you now, but there has to be a place that you began your contract.
01:09:11.039 --> 01:09:13.199
Say I wanted to get involved.
01:09:13.680 --> 01:09:15.039
Why would I get involved?
01:09:16.000 --> 01:09:18.159
You know the right people to ask.
01:09:20.159 --> 01:09:24.800
You can always um find work here in BlackRock.
01:09:25.359 --> 01:09:28.720
There are those who know whom to go to.
01:09:31.439 --> 01:09:33.279
And he looks at the two of you.
01:09:33.520 --> 01:09:36.560
Yeah, and I just I was just like, why is he looking at Sean?
01:09:43.760 --> 01:09:44.319
Right.
01:09:46.479 --> 01:09:54.960
Most everyone is um involved somehow or another in let us just say the trade.
01:09:57.359 --> 01:10:01.680
So I know some of the things that I know.
01:10:02.960 --> 01:10:04.640
Some of the people that I know.
01:10:05.760 --> 01:10:08.720
I am an intermediary of sorts.
01:10:11.840 --> 01:10:14.000
So you get paid from your boss and then what?
01:10:14.960 --> 01:10:16.880
You take another cut down the road?
01:10:16.960 --> 01:10:21.439
What what to what end all these deaths on your hands?
01:10:22.479 --> 01:10:24.960
Lagrock is a place of opportunity, no?
01:10:25.840 --> 01:10:35.359
A place for people to advance themselves, to um crawl out of the muck of obscurity and inequity.
01:10:36.960 --> 01:10:45.279
The people above us and he like sneers up at High Stone, they have no problem sacrificing our lives.
01:10:45.760 --> 01:10:50.640
No problem sending us to the wall to defend what they so-called their property.
01:10:51.840 --> 01:10:55.520
Avril that sent those men into that mine not knowing what danger it might pose to them.
01:10:55.920 --> 01:10:56.399
They died.
01:10:57.680 --> 01:11:07.359
And if I wouldn't have done it, we fight for them, we work for them, we die for them.
01:11:09.840 --> 01:11:14.960
If not me, it would be another if you expect me to feel guilty about it.
01:11:15.600 --> 01:11:18.960
Well I sleep fine.
01:11:20.800 --> 01:11:24.000
I applaud your money-making scheme.
01:11:24.159 --> 01:11:26.560
Everybody needs a middleman, especially here.
01:11:28.000 --> 01:11:37.520
But would it not behoove you to make a deal with us so that we can gain information about this person?
01:11:38.560 --> 01:11:43.359
If anything, you are a target too now.
01:11:46.399 --> 01:11:49.439
All the money in the world is not worth anything if you're dead.
01:11:50.239 --> 01:11:53.439
But we can also help you get money to leave.
01:11:54.720 --> 01:11:56.319
You can leave anytime he wants to.
01:11:56.640 --> 01:11:56.960
Oh yeah.
01:11:57.279 --> 01:11:59.279
Yeah, but I think he's got to be.
01:12:00.319 --> 01:12:02.319
He's probably plenty of money.
01:12:04.079 --> 01:12:11.920
Look, providing us with any amount of information I know you want would require us to pay for it.
01:12:12.159 --> 01:12:14.720
And I'm sure that we're all willing to pay.
01:12:15.279 --> 01:12:15.840
I'm not.
01:12:17.600 --> 01:12:18.079
Why not?
01:12:18.159 --> 01:12:18.720
It's my money.
01:12:19.039 --> 01:12:20.159
Bullet to the head?
01:12:24.800 --> 01:12:26.079
He's from here.
01:12:26.560 --> 01:12:28.960
He's not from here any more than I am.
01:12:29.279 --> 01:12:30.399
We're from here.
01:12:31.359 --> 01:12:32.640
I live here now.
01:12:33.760 --> 01:12:34.960
You never did answer my question.
01:12:35.119 --> 01:12:35.760
Were you born here?
01:12:38.000 --> 01:12:38.800
Pretty much.
01:12:39.439 --> 01:12:51.840
So if we are to come to a um there's a a mutually beneficial road ending to this little chat, you would want what from me.
01:12:52.079 --> 01:12:52.399
Exactly.
01:12:52.800 --> 01:12:58.720
We want to know who you're working for or how we can find more information about them.
01:12:59.119 --> 01:13:01.039
Stop talking in circles.
01:13:01.520 --> 01:13:05.039
Animals deliver your messages.
01:13:05.760 --> 01:13:06.319
Yes.
01:13:07.199 --> 01:13:08.800
Are you familiar with dread?
01:13:09.920 --> 01:13:11.760
Only so much as everybody.
01:13:13.920 --> 01:13:15.119
They're a ghost.
01:13:16.720 --> 01:13:19.840
A spectre invented by people here.
01:13:20.239 --> 01:13:23.439
At least you must have an idea of who is.
01:13:25.520 --> 01:13:26.880
Who does he work for?
01:13:31.600 --> 01:13:37.119
You see, uh, he is considering his options.
01:13:41.760 --> 01:13:46.319
Um, while you're thinking, I'm also gonna be listening out the back for anyone coming up the stairs.
01:13:46.560 --> 01:13:46.640
Okay.
01:13:46.880 --> 01:13:48.239
For his person coming back up here.
01:13:48.800 --> 01:13:49.039
Oh yeah.
01:13:49.439 --> 01:14:08.319
I feel like he's wasting time, so that's it's one person, so if you think that I am more afraid of you, then I'm afraid of them.
01:14:08.560 --> 01:14:10.399
Well, you're very wrong.
01:14:10.640 --> 01:14:13.760
I'm gonna my hands were crossed down my side.
01:14:13.840 --> 01:14:14.800
I'm gonna raise them up.
01:14:14.960 --> 01:14:15.279
Uh-huh.
01:14:15.680 --> 01:14:16.319
Fine.
01:14:17.279 --> 01:14:18.560
Roll initiative.
01:14:18.880 --> 01:14:19.520
What?
01:14:20.159 --> 01:14:21.039
Roll initiative.
01:14:21.359 --> 01:14:24.640
Yeah, veils you know.
01:14:25.760 --> 01:14:26.640
Alright.
01:14:26.800 --> 01:14:27.439
Uh good.
01:14:32.960 --> 01:14:34.399
I actually got calm emotions.
01:14:34.560 --> 01:14:34.960
Jeez.
01:14:35.439 --> 01:14:36.800
Let everybody calm down.
01:14:38.079 --> 01:14:38.800
Just calm down.
01:14:39.119 --> 01:14:40.079
I don't have any chill.
01:14:40.239 --> 01:14:43.760
What I'm gonna go ahead and need is uh I know where class is.
01:14:44.319 --> 01:14:49.520
Um, and let me move you guys over to We're doing uh like a math battling.
01:14:53.279 --> 01:14:53.520
Oh yeah.
01:14:53.760 --> 01:14:55.439
Oh, that means he's like level 10 guys.
01:14:55.520 --> 01:14:55.920
We're dead.
01:14:56.079 --> 01:14:58.720
Uh he was sizing us all up.
01:14:58.960 --> 01:15:00.319
He's definitely level something.
01:15:00.479 --> 01:15:02.079
Okay, guys, okay.
01:15:03.520 --> 01:15:06.159
We're gonna move over to Rollin Keel.
01:15:06.399 --> 01:15:12.880
Rolls, quite as as exact as I wanted it to be, but it'll it'll work.
01:15:13.039 --> 01:15:17.680
Um luckily we only have one person in here.
01:15:18.079 --> 01:15:20.479
Nothing's no one invisible.
01:15:20.560 --> 01:15:22.399
So class is class is here.
01:15:22.640 --> 01:15:23.039
Because we checked.
01:15:23.199 --> 01:15:23.600
Because we checked.
01:15:25.760 --> 01:15:28.640
Um I like who's where?
01:15:28.720 --> 01:15:30.800
I think like I had stood in front of him in front of the door.
01:15:31.039 --> 01:15:32.239
Yeah, and I went to the door as well.
01:15:32.319 --> 01:15:33.359
So I'm I'm near the exit.
01:15:33.520 --> 01:15:34.880
Okay, and then Vale was sitting in the house.
01:15:35.119 --> 01:15:35.600
Where is the exit?
01:15:35.760 --> 01:15:37.039
Yeah, so sitting, I think.
01:15:37.359 --> 01:15:38.239
Oh, it's a small room.
01:15:38.399 --> 01:15:39.520
It's a it is a small room.
01:15:40.000 --> 01:15:44.239
Um so I'm gonna I'm gonna kind of just give you like one of the most compact martial art phase.
01:15:44.560 --> 01:15:44.880
There we go.
01:15:45.279 --> 01:15:46.399
So they're built for this.
01:15:47.439 --> 01:15:51.520
There is, I think, like a good approximation of where everybody is.
01:15:52.000 --> 01:15:53.359
Where are Ramsey and Vale?
01:15:53.680 --> 01:15:55.039
Like, is that a door over there too?
01:15:55.199 --> 01:15:56.000
No, that's not that's a wall.
01:15:56.159 --> 01:15:58.720
Yeah, I'm gonna hold in the floor.
01:15:58.960 --> 01:16:03.119
Or sorry, um Shaw is blocking the door still because he's listening outside of it.
01:16:03.359 --> 01:16:05.199
Yeah, you but you guys both are both blocking the door.
01:16:05.359 --> 01:16:05.840
Okay, we'll be right back.
01:16:05.920 --> 01:16:10.960
Yeah, because I imagine like Shaw was here and then got up and moved here, and Phil was just standing there the whole time.
01:16:11.439 --> 01:16:12.399
So class.
01:16:12.560 --> 01:16:12.800
Okay.
01:16:12.880 --> 01:16:15.520
Um Can you ping where the door is so I have a better understanding of the other?
01:16:15.600 --> 01:16:15.840
Yeah, it's not.
01:16:16.079 --> 01:16:17.600
You're on a new and uh thing right there.
01:16:17.760 --> 01:16:18.720
Shaw, it's like curtains.
01:16:18.800 --> 01:16:19.359
It's not even a door.
01:16:19.760 --> 01:16:21.439
I thought it was like down here where the stairs are.
01:16:22.159 --> 01:16:23.119
It's like this, it's just curtains.
01:16:23.279 --> 01:16:23.920
All good, all good.
01:16:24.159 --> 01:16:24.560
Just like this.
01:16:24.880 --> 01:16:27.359
Um there's a curtain you're on.
01:16:27.680 --> 01:16:28.880
Alright, I gotta rule this.
01:16:30.960 --> 01:16:32.479
How were there giant bugbears in that room?
01:16:35.359 --> 01:16:35.680
Okay.
01:16:37.119 --> 01:16:40.239
This is gonna be really bad or it's gonna be maybe the table's smaller.
01:16:40.319 --> 01:16:40.640
I don't know.
01:16:40.880 --> 01:16:42.319
Alright, guys.
01:16:42.800 --> 01:16:46.000
So I'm gonna go ahead and add everybody to initiative order.
01:16:46.079 --> 01:16:47.439
I think that's uh initiative.
01:16:48.000 --> 01:16:49.119
Right, that's what I was looking up.
01:16:49.199 --> 01:16:53.279
I kept trying to look up something and I couldn't remember what I was doing.
01:16:53.760 --> 01:16:54.319
Alright.
01:16:54.720 --> 01:16:55.279
Happens.
01:16:55.520 --> 01:16:59.279
Um 20 and above.
01:16:59.520 --> 01:17:00.000
21.
01:17:00.800 --> 01:17:01.920
21 goes.
01:17:02.079 --> 01:17:02.640
We love to see it.
01:17:02.880 --> 01:17:03.920
15 to 20?
01:17:04.079 --> 01:17:04.399
Yeah.
01:17:05.039 --> 01:17:06.880
18 for now.
01:17:07.359 --> 01:17:07.680
16.
01:17:08.000 --> 01:17:08.319
16.
01:17:08.560 --> 01:17:09.680
18, 17, 16.
01:17:09.920 --> 01:17:10.079
No.
01:17:10.800 --> 01:17:11.279
I didn't so bad.
01:17:11.439 --> 01:17:12.000
Ram dark.
01:17:12.079 --> 01:17:12.800
I did so bad, dog.
01:17:12.960 --> 01:17:13.600
Ram dark.
01:17:14.479 --> 01:17:15.279
17 for Phil?
01:17:15.520 --> 01:17:16.159
17 for Phil.
01:17:16.319 --> 01:17:17.279
And how old did you get?
01:17:17.439 --> 01:17:18.560
Cleric level initiative.
01:17:18.640 --> 01:17:19.199
Uh seven.
01:17:19.439 --> 01:17:19.840
Seven.
01:17:20.319 --> 01:17:21.359
Oh buddy.
01:17:21.520 --> 01:17:21.920
It's okay.
01:17:22.159 --> 01:17:22.239
Okay.
01:17:22.880 --> 01:17:23.520
I'm leaning back.
01:17:23.600 --> 01:17:24.800
I'm I'm chilling my chair.
01:17:26.239 --> 01:17:26.640
We're fighting.
01:17:27.920 --> 01:17:29.039
We were we were just talking.
01:17:29.119 --> 01:17:30.079
Why are we fighting?
01:17:30.960 --> 01:17:33.439
Yeah, we're sitting down enjoying ourselves.
01:17:33.600 --> 01:17:34.239
We're like, guys.
01:17:34.880 --> 01:17:35.439
Alright, so.
01:17:35.680 --> 01:17:37.359
Well, you also said you would punch him in the face.
01:17:38.000 --> 01:17:38.239
Yeah.
01:17:38.640 --> 01:17:41.039
Everybody in this room, I think, except Delia threatened him.
01:17:41.199 --> 01:17:42.560
So uh nevertheless.
01:17:43.119 --> 01:17:45.359
The you definitely threatened him.
01:17:45.760 --> 01:17:47.039
Um you definitely threatened him.
01:17:47.359 --> 01:17:48.880
You threaten him, you threaten him, you threaten him.
01:17:49.279 --> 01:17:50.399
I threatened him with a bullet in the head.
01:17:50.800 --> 01:17:52.319
You literally said you were gonna shoot him in the head.
01:17:52.560 --> 01:17:53.520
Let's all calm down.
01:17:54.560 --> 01:17:56.399
You haven't exactly endeared yourselves to him.
01:17:56.880 --> 01:17:57.600
I don't need to.
01:17:57.840 --> 01:17:59.439
This guy's not.
01:18:00.880 --> 01:18:01.680
People say you're not nice.
01:18:02.079 --> 01:18:03.359
That guy isn't.
01:18:03.680 --> 01:18:05.760
You're gonna bring that nice, people gonna say you're not nice.
01:18:10.720 --> 01:18:11.600
Threatening to shoot somebody.
01:18:11.840 --> 01:18:14.560
I am plenty kind when people do some of my kindness.
01:18:15.039 --> 01:18:15.119
Alright.
01:18:15.600 --> 01:18:19.920
So this guy, um it is not a class act over here.
01:18:20.159 --> 01:18:21.359
He's definitely not a class act.
01:18:21.520 --> 01:18:22.319
He's a he's a monster.
01:18:22.479 --> 01:18:22.960
He's a bad man.
01:18:23.279 --> 01:18:23.840
He's a very bad man.
01:18:23.920 --> 01:18:24.640
He's a selfish man.
01:18:24.960 --> 01:18:25.760
That is my father.
01:18:25.840 --> 01:18:29.279
Um I don't think at least Elya has a soft spark.
01:18:30.960 --> 01:18:34.000
This guy, of course, he's basically murdering every caravan.
01:18:34.399 --> 01:18:39.760
Every caravan, those buggers are gonna murder everybody who's taking those caravans, including if your dad is taking a caravan.
01:18:40.640 --> 01:18:41.760
My dad doesn't take care of your car.
01:18:41.920 --> 01:18:42.880
He would not do it.
01:18:44.560 --> 01:18:46.479
It would be his stuff that he's waiting on.
01:18:46.640 --> 01:18:46.880
Sorry.
01:18:47.199 --> 01:18:47.600
No, you're good.
01:18:47.680 --> 01:18:49.359
You mean it's trucks?
01:18:49.840 --> 01:18:49.920
Yeah.
01:18:50.239 --> 01:18:51.920
Well, yeah, it's my mom's trucks.
01:18:52.560 --> 01:18:56.159
All right, so top of initiative, uh, we have 21.
01:18:56.239 --> 01:18:57.039
We got Shaw.
01:18:57.600 --> 01:18:59.680
So what are you doing about Shin in the beginning?
01:18:59.840 --> 01:19:05.760
Uh, you were just Bale, no, no, no, Bale was about to do some kind of spell, so I see him doing something.
01:19:05.840 --> 01:19:06.880
What what what what happens?
01:19:07.199 --> 01:19:08.239
Calass gets up and throws a dag.
01:19:08.399 --> 01:19:15.600
Like, it's like as soon as like so the the idea with initiative is that like as soon as somebody goes to do something, that's when you roll.
01:19:15.920 --> 01:19:17.840
And then it's like it works out in initiative order.
01:19:17.920 --> 01:19:19.760
So Bale, whatever he's doing, has not completed yet.
01:19:19.920 --> 01:19:20.159
Yeah, yeah.
01:19:20.239 --> 01:19:23.199
So that is the trigger of initiative, but it doesn't go off.
01:19:23.279 --> 01:19:23.439
Right.
01:19:23.680 --> 01:19:23.760
Okay.
01:19:23.920 --> 01:19:33.279
Because that way I avoid, frankly, I just avoid a bunch of people's skill like doing like a ton of shit and getting a surprise rank in an environment that frankly there's no fucking shot anybody's surprise in.
01:19:34.319 --> 01:19:38.000
This is a very tense, everybody's on edge, and then he goes, Fine.
01:19:38.640 --> 01:19:39.600
That's what triggers.
01:19:39.680 --> 01:19:41.680
So yeah, makes perfect sense.
01:19:41.840 --> 01:19:42.560
Yeah, oh yeah.
01:19:42.640 --> 01:19:43.359
No, I buy it.
01:19:45.279 --> 01:19:45.760
SCC.
01:19:46.399 --> 01:19:48.319
Um, yeah, I'll just I'll be standing here.
01:19:48.399 --> 01:19:50.239
I see uh Vale's doing something.
01:19:50.319 --> 01:19:52.000
The Vale, sorry, is doing something.
01:19:53.359 --> 01:19:54.079
Say his name.
01:19:54.479 --> 01:19:56.479
And uh yeah, I'll position myself in the door.
01:19:56.560 --> 01:20:04.880
I'll grab a vial of Dizzy Disease and drip it down the dagger as a bonus action, and I will hold my action in case he tries to escape past if he tries to push past us.
01:20:05.039 --> 01:20:05.279
Okay.
01:20:05.439 --> 01:20:07.279
I will like hold my action to get him with it.
01:20:07.520 --> 01:20:08.880
Okay, cool, cool.
01:20:09.119 --> 01:20:10.960
Um, excellent, excellent.
01:20:11.119 --> 01:20:14.479
That is going to so you you are holding your action until if he tries to go past the air.
01:20:14.720 --> 01:20:18.319
If he tries to get past or run away, and I'm in and he's in range of me trying to do so.
01:20:18.479 --> 01:20:19.840
Because it looks like this is the only exit, right?
01:20:20.000 --> 01:20:20.399
More or less.
01:20:20.720 --> 01:20:21.600
Yeah, I mean, yeah.
01:20:21.680 --> 01:20:23.439
The He can jump up in the air, I guess.
01:20:23.680 --> 01:20:26.079
What I was like, there's no roof on these places, there's curtains.
01:20:26.159 --> 01:20:27.680
That's that was established.
01:20:27.840 --> 01:20:33.680
So um, but he there is like the only apparent exit out of the room is through you guys or up.
01:20:34.159 --> 01:20:34.640
Up in the sky.
01:20:34.720 --> 01:20:34.800
Okay.
01:20:35.359 --> 01:20:38.000
So are you waiting for Vale's thing to do, and then you stop it?
01:20:38.079 --> 01:20:40.800
Or you just triggered it on him trying to leave.
01:20:41.680 --> 01:20:46.319
If he runs away, if he tries to get through the door, yeah, because we blocked the door, I'm gonna try and get ready for that.
01:20:46.479 --> 01:20:46.720
That's fair.
01:20:46.800 --> 01:20:48.079
Yeah, that's what I alright.
01:20:48.239 --> 01:20:51.520
So bonus action, you jump the thing and then you hold your action.
01:20:51.680 --> 01:20:51.920
Yeah.
01:20:52.079 --> 01:20:59.199
That is gonna end Shaw's turn and bring us to a legendary action.
01:21:02.319 --> 01:21:03.359
Legendary do it.
01:21:04.640 --> 01:21:06.079
He's not the veil.
01:21:06.319 --> 01:21:07.199
You're the veil, right?
01:21:07.359 --> 01:21:13.359
He's not the foreman of a fucking publicly allegedly.
01:21:13.760 --> 01:21:14.479
Allegedly.
01:21:17.359 --> 01:21:18.079
This is dreadful.
01:21:18.319 --> 01:21:19.760
Alright, this is dreadful.
01:21:20.319 --> 01:21:23.680
Um he is going to move.
01:21:24.640 --> 01:21:26.079
We're dead premature to be fighting dread.
01:21:26.319 --> 01:21:27.520
No, we would be, yeah.
01:21:27.760 --> 01:21:28.399
We would be dead.
01:21:28.640 --> 01:21:30.159
The bandit lord moves up to half its speed.
01:21:30.399 --> 01:21:34.800
The bandit lord move up to half its speed without provoking opportunity attacks.
01:21:35.520 --> 01:21:37.680
Okay, he's gonna use a legendary action to move.
01:21:37.760 --> 01:21:39.760
He does not provoke opportunity attacks.
01:21:40.319 --> 01:21:44.239
He's going to move five, ten, fifteen, twenty.
01:21:44.720 --> 01:21:45.520
Oh damn.
01:21:45.760 --> 01:21:47.760
Doesn't he still trigger Shaws, though?
01:21:47.840 --> 01:21:48.079
Yeah, yeah.
01:21:48.399 --> 01:21:49.039
It's not an opportunity.
01:21:49.680 --> 01:21:50.560
It's not an opportunity attack.
01:21:50.640 --> 01:21:51.520
Yeah, it's a held action.
01:21:51.840 --> 01:21:52.800
So which is different.
01:21:52.960 --> 01:21:55.600
So you let me see, let me double check his speed.
01:21:56.880 --> 01:21:57.840
Yep, okay.
01:21:58.079 --> 01:21:59.680
Um, wait, can he?
01:22:00.079 --> 01:22:00.800
I'll try if I can.
01:22:01.279 --> 01:22:01.600
He was here.
01:22:01.680 --> 01:22:02.479
Five, ten, fifteen.
01:22:02.640 --> 01:22:02.800
Yeah.
01:22:02.880 --> 01:22:04.640
So 15 feet, he gets right there.
01:22:04.720 --> 01:22:04.960
Okay.
01:22:05.119 --> 01:22:08.399
Um, and yeah, you're saying if he's trying to run.
01:22:08.560 --> 01:22:12.800
Oh yeah, he jumps over the table like not so fast, surprisingly quick, and going.
01:22:13.840 --> 01:22:14.159
Okay.
01:22:14.800 --> 01:22:18.960
Um I don't have advantage, but oh wait, you do, right?
01:22:19.359 --> 01:22:21.600
I don't know, no, because initiative before.
01:22:22.079 --> 01:22:24.000
He hasn't taken a turn yet, but the legendary actions are.
01:22:24.319 --> 01:22:25.520
Because the town has not taken a turn yet?
01:22:25.840 --> 01:22:26.960
Legendary actions are not turns.
01:22:27.600 --> 01:22:30.079
So you get your Ashashin DS, I believe.
01:22:30.479 --> 01:22:33.199
Plus, you're now um you you have a snack attack.
01:22:34.000 --> 01:22:34.159
Yes.
01:22:34.399 --> 01:22:35.039
Snack attacking.
01:22:35.359 --> 01:22:35.840
A snack.
01:22:35.920 --> 01:22:36.319
A snack.
01:22:36.399 --> 01:22:37.359
A snack attack.
01:22:39.039 --> 01:22:40.800
Wait, why are you snapping him?
01:22:40.960 --> 01:22:42.319
I just gave myself a major trunk.
01:22:45.439 --> 01:22:46.319
You acted too hard!
01:22:47.520 --> 01:22:51.119
You acted too hard! Your hamstring was like what?
01:22:52.000 --> 01:22:53.039
We didn't death support.
01:22:53.359 --> 01:22:54.720
Yeah, you're the biggest is crazy.
01:22:54.800 --> 01:22:54.880
Okay.
01:22:55.039 --> 01:22:57.119
Yeah, uh coming in with the dagger.
01:22:58.239 --> 01:22:59.600
Get him! Let's get to it.
01:22:59.840 --> 01:23:00.560
Yeah, okay.
01:23:00.960 --> 01:23:02.560
So that is like 20.
01:23:03.520 --> 01:23:03.840
I hope so.
01:23:04.000 --> 01:23:05.520
25, right?
01:23:05.600 --> 01:23:07.600
Like, no, stop.
01:23:07.840 --> 01:23:08.640
Don't run, please.
01:23:08.960 --> 01:23:09.439
Dagger is a plus.
01:23:10.159 --> 01:23:11.039
20 plus doesn't hit him.
01:23:11.119 --> 01:23:12.239
I'm walking away.
01:23:12.399 --> 01:23:12.720
23?
01:23:12.880 --> 01:23:12.960
Yeah.
01:23:13.119 --> 01:23:13.680
That'll hit.
01:23:13.920 --> 01:23:14.159
Yeah.
01:23:16.560 --> 01:23:18.239
Okay, so he takes.
01:23:18.399 --> 01:23:19.760
Oh, let me do the dagger first.
01:23:19.920 --> 01:23:21.119
Oh, he needs to make a roll too.
01:23:21.199 --> 01:23:23.439
Let me get the rolls a con save.
01:23:23.920 --> 01:23:24.319
I believe so.
01:23:24.399 --> 01:23:24.800
It's con.
01:23:25.359 --> 01:23:27.439
If he is a dwarf, he will have advantage on this save.
01:23:27.680 --> 01:23:27.840
Fuck.
01:23:28.079 --> 01:23:28.640
Because of poison?
01:23:28.800 --> 01:23:29.199
He's a dwarf.
01:23:29.359 --> 01:23:29.760
He's a dwarf.
01:23:29.840 --> 01:23:30.319
They have advantage.
01:23:30.560 --> 01:23:34.159
They have advantage on saving throws against poison and resistance to poison damage.
01:23:35.920 --> 01:23:39.119
I think that it's fine because if it well roll the con save first, it probably saves it.
01:23:41.119 --> 01:23:42.560
It is um I didn't write it down.
01:23:42.640 --> 01:23:43.119
God damn it.
01:23:43.199 --> 01:23:43.840
I mean, you might as well.
01:23:44.079 --> 01:23:44.880
Let me double check.
01:23:45.119 --> 01:23:46.640
Let me see where my Yep.
01:23:46.800 --> 01:23:50.159
Resistance to poison damage and advantage on saving throws against poison effects.
01:23:50.399 --> 01:23:53.119
13 plus so life.
01:23:53.439 --> 01:23:55.840
Oh, so I think it's 14 as the save now because we leveled up.
01:23:56.640 --> 01:23:57.680
No, nice.
01:23:57.840 --> 01:23:58.399
He already said he was.
01:23:58.640 --> 01:23:59.439
That is a 15.
01:24:01.279 --> 01:24:01.600
It's all right.
01:24:03.199 --> 01:24:03.520
It's okay.
01:24:03.600 --> 01:24:05.199
Um, and then he will take some damage still.
01:24:05.279 --> 01:24:09.600
So let me get the um dagger does a d4.
01:24:09.840 --> 01:24:10.720
So let's move that.
01:24:11.119 --> 01:24:11.760
That's three.
01:24:11.920 --> 01:24:18.479
So three plus three is six, and then he also takes four points of uh assassinate damage.
01:24:18.640 --> 01:24:21.520
He takes four points of extra damage, and then he also takes two d6.
01:24:23.600 --> 01:24:24.479
So sorry, what was the total?
01:24:24.720 --> 01:24:27.279
It'll be uh six, seven.
01:24:28.399 --> 01:24:33.119
And then I'll do the I'll do the sneak attack right now, which is a D6.
01:24:33.439 --> 01:24:35.359
And then I do need you to separate out poison damage.
01:24:35.600 --> 01:24:37.760
The points is not gonna happen because the dizzy disease doesn't work.
01:24:38.000 --> 01:24:39.279
Dizzy disease doesn't deal extra poison damage.
01:24:39.600 --> 01:24:40.239
It doesn't work, so yeah.
01:24:40.399 --> 01:24:41.039
That's right, that's right.
01:24:42.560 --> 01:24:46.159
Yeah, it has a hell of a two D6s coming your way.
01:24:46.399 --> 01:24:47.039
Fuck.
01:24:47.359 --> 01:24:47.680
Yeah.
01:24:47.840 --> 01:24:49.760
Okay, another six points for the sneak.
01:24:50.000 --> 01:24:51.600
Okay, sorry, so what was the total?
01:24:51.840 --> 01:24:59.119
Uh six, three and three, six plus four, ten plus six, sixteen points of damage.
01:25:00.319 --> 01:25:00.560
Piercing.
01:25:00.720 --> 01:25:01.760
All piercing from the dagger.
01:25:01.840 --> 01:25:02.000
Yeah.
01:25:02.159 --> 01:25:02.640
Okay, cool.
01:25:02.880 --> 01:25:04.640
As I stab him in kind of like the hip.
01:25:04.800 --> 01:25:05.119
Awesome.
01:25:05.279 --> 01:25:06.800
Stay here! Alright.
01:25:07.680 --> 01:25:09.039
Do you have Nick property?
01:25:09.359 --> 01:25:10.159
Yeah, but it's a reaction.
01:25:10.960 --> 01:25:11.760
So that goes with why.
01:25:12.479 --> 01:25:13.439
I can't do my combo right now.
01:25:13.520 --> 01:25:18.079
I can only kind of I was trying to get a poison on him to kind of get him, but it didn't work.
01:25:18.159 --> 01:25:19.039
But I at least did some damage.
01:25:19.359 --> 01:25:25.600
He gets next to you, and as he does, again, surprisingly fast for such a heavily muscled dwarf, he run tries to run past you and you stick him.
01:25:26.239 --> 01:25:29.680
Um and that is gonna end his legendary action, Shaw.
01:25:29.760 --> 01:25:30.800
Your reaction is gone.
01:25:31.199 --> 01:25:34.159
Uh, and that brings us to Vale with Phil on deck.
01:25:34.399 --> 01:25:35.439
Do your thing, do the thing.
01:25:35.520 --> 01:25:36.800
He's he's there.
01:25:37.119 --> 01:25:41.439
Um yeah, so I said I raised my arms and said, Fine.
01:25:42.000 --> 01:25:46.399
And uh he sprinted.
01:25:46.640 --> 01:25:48.560
And where'd he go?
01:25:48.960 --> 01:25:52.479
He's over here! You'd have to go out of the tent to the city.
01:25:52.640 --> 01:25:53.279
I think it's just a curtain.
01:25:53.439 --> 01:25:53.760
It's a curtain.
01:25:53.920 --> 01:25:55.199
It's just a flowing curtain, I'm pretty sure.
01:25:55.359 --> 01:25:56.880
Yeah, it'll you don't have to see him?
01:25:57.039 --> 01:25:57.199
No.
01:25:57.359 --> 01:25:57.520
Great.
01:25:57.600 --> 01:25:59.359
Love as hell where you don't have to see shit.
01:25:59.600 --> 01:26:14.640
Um, and I I thrust my arms forward, the bracers alight um with with star moats of stars racing around them, and then just go uh just um mundane.
01:26:14.720 --> 01:26:21.520
And they did stops and um and I cast uh detect thoughts and I'm going to probe deeper.
01:26:21.680 --> 01:26:22.880
Oh get that info.
01:26:23.520 --> 01:26:25.840
Get that info Okay.
01:26:27.039 --> 01:26:30.000
You cast detect dots and you're immediately gonna probe deeper.
01:26:30.159 --> 01:26:30.399
Okay.
01:26:30.560 --> 01:26:31.199
Yeah.
01:26:31.840 --> 01:26:32.960
With some save, right?
01:26:33.039 --> 01:26:33.680
Yeah, 15.
01:26:33.760 --> 01:26:33.840
Okay.
01:26:34.319 --> 01:26:38.560
So that was legendary legendary action is a reaction?
01:26:38.640 --> 01:26:38.880
I don't know.
01:26:39.439 --> 01:26:39.840
Legendary.
01:26:41.039 --> 01:26:42.880
They have legendary resistance.
01:26:43.439 --> 01:26:44.000
I don't know what he does.
01:26:44.079 --> 01:26:44.560
I don't know what he got.
01:26:44.640 --> 01:26:45.199
I don't know what he got.
01:26:45.439 --> 01:26:47.600
I was wondering if what he just did burned his reaction, but I don't think it did.
01:26:47.840 --> 01:26:48.479
That is a fail.
01:26:48.640 --> 01:26:48.960
Yes.
01:26:49.199 --> 01:26:52.159
He is going to use his one legendary resistance to resist.
01:26:52.960 --> 01:26:53.600
Burn it, burn it.
01:26:53.760 --> 01:26:54.800
So he is going to resist.
01:26:54.960 --> 01:27:00.640
As you attempt to probe into his mind, you feel like like an iron wall just come up in his brain.
01:27:00.880 --> 01:27:01.840
This fucking guy.
01:27:02.479 --> 01:27:03.039
This guy.
01:27:07.600 --> 01:27:08.000
Alright.
01:27:08.159 --> 01:27:08.560
Action.
01:27:09.840 --> 01:27:10.720
Uh action.
01:27:11.439 --> 01:27:13.279
Uh I mean, we're here, right?
01:27:13.439 --> 01:27:13.760
We're here.
01:27:13.920 --> 01:27:14.319
We're here.
01:27:14.399 --> 01:27:14.960
So bonus.
01:27:15.199 --> 01:27:15.840
We in it, dog.
01:27:16.319 --> 01:27:17.600
Uh bonus.
01:27:17.840 --> 01:27:19.760
Um starry form.
01:27:20.560 --> 01:27:27.520
Uh uh my my Gith warrior goddess uh uh alights from around me.
01:27:27.760 --> 01:27:27.920
Okay.
01:27:28.560 --> 01:27:29.119
Warbo drawn.
01:27:29.840 --> 01:27:30.399
Okay, okay.
01:27:30.640 --> 01:27:37.359
And I will move towards the wait.
01:27:37.680 --> 01:27:39.680
Uh Ramsey.
01:27:39.920 --> 01:27:40.960
Oh, you could get around the table.
01:27:41.039 --> 01:27:41.760
Okay, I'll stay there.
01:27:41.840 --> 01:27:42.239
I'm good.
01:27:42.399 --> 01:27:45.359
At the end of your turn, he's going to use a legendary action.
01:27:45.520 --> 01:27:45.760
Of course.
01:27:46.000 --> 01:27:46.880
He's gonna stab you.
01:27:47.199 --> 01:27:48.000
Fucking try.
01:27:49.439 --> 01:27:49.920
Mm-hmm.
01:27:51.920 --> 01:27:56.399
Alright, that is gonna be a 17 to him.
01:27:56.640 --> 01:27:56.960
Fuck that.
01:27:57.039 --> 01:27:57.840
Yeah, that's my C.
01:27:58.159 --> 01:27:58.319
Okay.
01:27:58.800 --> 01:27:58.960
Um
01:28:00.399 --> 01:28:00.640
Oh.
01:28:01.279 --> 01:28:01.600
Yeah.
01:28:01.760 --> 01:28:01.840
Oh.
01:28:02.399 --> 01:28:02.880
It's fine.
01:28:02.960 --> 01:28:03.199
It's fine.
01:28:04.399 --> 01:28:04.800
I'm sure it's fine.
01:28:04.880 --> 01:28:05.279
It's not a lot.
01:28:05.439 --> 01:28:06.720
Legendary action guy can't do damage.
01:28:07.840 --> 01:28:08.239
Totally fine.
01:28:08.640 --> 01:28:09.199
Take.
01:28:10.079 --> 01:28:10.399
Yeah.
01:28:10.640 --> 01:28:11.840
He does not have an ally.
01:28:12.239 --> 01:28:15.279
Oh, so you only take six points of piercing damage.
01:28:15.600 --> 01:28:15.760
Seven.
01:28:16.159 --> 01:28:16.239
Six.
01:28:16.479 --> 01:28:16.800
I can take that.
01:28:17.359 --> 01:28:18.239
Six points of piercing damage.
01:28:18.479 --> 01:28:18.800
That's alright.
01:28:18.960 --> 01:28:23.520
That is going to uh finish his legendary action and brings us to Phil.
01:28:24.479 --> 01:28:25.680
With Elia on deck.
01:28:26.000 --> 01:28:29.760
That casting I did, that second one, was not my ability.
01:28:29.840 --> 01:28:30.560
That was a spell.
01:28:30.800 --> 01:28:30.960
Spell.
01:28:31.199 --> 01:28:32.000
So that one or still.
01:28:32.319 --> 01:28:32.960
Okay, cool, cool.
01:28:33.279 --> 01:28:34.880
With the dagger, it's still like in his side.
01:28:35.119 --> 01:28:36.560
You have to try rather than that.
01:28:39.279 --> 01:28:39.840
He's the one.
01:28:40.239 --> 01:28:43.039
I shake my shoulder and shake his dagger out of him.
01:28:43.199 --> 01:28:43.279
Alright.
01:28:43.520 --> 01:28:43.760
My spell.
01:28:47.039 --> 01:28:47.439
Yeah.
01:28:47.600 --> 01:28:48.159
Alright.
01:28:48.319 --> 01:28:55.439
Uh and Shaw's turn, or excuse me, his legendary Anthony Vale's turn and brings us to the case.
01:28:55.680 --> 01:28:56.720
He's on the other side of the curtain.
01:28:56.800 --> 01:28:57.199
So I can't.
01:28:57.760 --> 01:29:01.760
Yeah, he's like, he's I mean, there's like they're billowing because he like busted out of there.
01:29:01.840 --> 01:29:02.319
So yeah, you can't.
01:29:02.479 --> 01:29:04.000
I mean, I can go on the other side of the curtain if I need to.
01:29:05.279 --> 01:29:07.279
I'll just like push it to the side and like go out.
01:29:07.920 --> 01:29:12.000
Um and I um bring my hands together and throw them up.
01:29:12.399 --> 01:29:14.239
Um and my eyes flash.
01:29:14.399 --> 01:29:17.840
I normally have like the red irises, my entire eye goes red.
01:29:18.079 --> 01:29:18.720
Like blood.
01:29:18.960 --> 01:29:19.439
Like blood.
01:29:20.079 --> 01:29:21.520
Like my entire eye is red.
01:29:22.239 --> 01:29:23.119
And I yell halt.
01:29:23.359 --> 01:29:23.600
Uh-huh.
01:29:23.760 --> 01:29:25.199
Um, and I cast whole person.
01:29:25.600 --> 01:29:30.079
Um, I use whole person um from my fiendish legacy spells.
01:29:30.239 --> 01:29:30.399
Oh.
01:29:30.720 --> 01:29:31.680
So I just need them.
01:29:32.560 --> 01:29:33.680
We tried to tell you, class.
01:29:33.920 --> 01:29:34.479
Just tell us.
01:29:35.359 --> 01:29:36.479
Give me that info, man.
01:29:36.640 --> 01:29:37.119
You don't want the die?
01:29:37.359 --> 01:29:38.159
Just tell us, Doc.
01:29:38.319 --> 01:29:39.279
You need a die now.
01:29:39.760 --> 01:29:40.239
16.
01:29:40.479 --> 01:29:41.039
I don't know.
01:29:41.920 --> 01:29:42.880
Wait, 16.
01:29:43.279 --> 01:29:44.079
Wheason 16.
01:29:44.479 --> 01:29:44.560
Oh.
01:29:44.880 --> 01:29:45.359
That's pretty good.
01:29:45.439 --> 01:29:45.520
Yeah.
01:29:46.159 --> 01:29:50.000
She's maxed his intelligence and your guys' proficiency bonus has been up.
01:29:50.560 --> 01:29:51.279
We're at five.
01:29:51.439 --> 01:29:52.800
Five is five is a big one.
01:29:52.880 --> 01:29:53.279
We're a big one.
01:29:53.439 --> 01:29:54.479
Pretty cool, pretty cool.
01:29:54.720 --> 01:29:55.680
I don't feel big.
01:29:56.000 --> 01:29:57.359
Multiclassing hurts my feelings.
01:29:58.000 --> 01:29:58.960
He freezes in place.
01:29:59.199 --> 01:29:59.439
Yes.
01:30:01.119 --> 01:30:01.680
That's crazy.
01:30:06.000 --> 01:30:06.960
Oh, you didn't want to get it right.
01:30:08.800 --> 01:30:09.600
There's five of you.
01:30:09.840 --> 01:30:10.960
You made the fuck a lot.
01:30:11.760 --> 01:30:13.439
She's not nice, she's nice.
01:30:13.760 --> 01:30:15.199
How does the whole person work again?
01:30:15.359 --> 01:30:16.960
There has to be on the next turn.
01:30:17.279 --> 01:30:19.199
Until my until it gets turned out.
01:30:19.760 --> 01:30:20.399
He's going nowhere.
01:30:20.640 --> 01:30:23.920
Sorry, at the end of each of its turns, it can make it make a sense.
01:30:24.079 --> 01:30:25.680
Yeah, but I think it just continues for like a minute or something.
01:30:26.239 --> 01:30:29.920
So as long as you should drunk on the space, okay, cool, cool.
01:30:30.239 --> 01:30:32.880
I'm gonna walk, just like walk up to him, losing my movement.
01:30:33.199 --> 01:30:33.920
And he's like.
01:30:35.760 --> 01:30:38.159
This could have gone so much easier for you.
01:30:40.880 --> 01:30:41.680
But he can't move.
01:30:41.840 --> 01:30:42.560
Nope, he can't move.
01:30:42.800 --> 01:30:43.760
Are your eyes still full red?
01:30:43.920 --> 01:30:44.720
My eyes are full red.
01:30:48.000 --> 01:30:48.720
That's so sick.
01:30:49.039 --> 01:30:49.920
Um, okay.
01:30:50.159 --> 01:30:57.359
Um, I'm concentrating on it, but well, can I do anything as a bonus action?
01:30:59.840 --> 01:31:01.119
I think what you did was amazing.
01:31:01.439 --> 01:31:03.359
Yeah, it's really good.
01:31:03.680 --> 01:31:04.000
I'm good.
01:31:04.079 --> 01:31:05.279
Yeah, that's that's my turn.
01:31:05.520 --> 01:31:06.479
Great job.
01:31:06.800 --> 01:31:07.199
Yep.
01:31:07.600 --> 01:31:07.920
Okay.
01:31:10.560 --> 01:31:12.239
That is gonna end Philadelphia.
01:31:12.399 --> 01:31:14.640
Or I'll and I'll use I can use my I'll use a word.
01:31:15.520 --> 01:31:17.279
Do you have anything to tie him up?
01:31:20.000 --> 01:31:20.560
Fine.
01:31:22.159 --> 01:31:24.880
And I I don't have an I'm wearing a gown.
01:31:25.199 --> 01:31:26.000
Yeah, that's true.
01:31:26.479 --> 01:31:27.760
I don't have anything.
01:31:28.079 --> 01:31:33.760
I I guess I will look around for uh to be clear, we are still on an initial.
01:31:33.920 --> 01:31:34.560
Yeah, who's turning out?
01:31:35.039 --> 01:31:36.000
So this is not out of an issue.
01:31:36.079 --> 01:31:36.720
Yeah, who's gonna save it?
01:31:38.960 --> 01:31:39.680
Yeah, you can still save.
01:31:40.079 --> 01:31:46.079
Well, then I will walk out of the room and just sigh.
01:31:46.640 --> 01:32:06.239
And in my mind's eye, I can see his like a constellation, uh, network of his brain as it like uh almost forms in front of me and then it slivers.
01:32:06.560 --> 01:32:06.960
Mm-hmm.
01:32:07.359 --> 01:32:08.960
As I cast mine sliver.
01:32:09.359 --> 01:32:10.560
Oh, damn it.
01:32:11.520 --> 01:32:12.319
God damn it.
01:32:12.560 --> 01:32:13.840
And I just and I just see it.
01:32:13.920 --> 01:32:15.119
It's an intelligence save.
01:32:15.359 --> 01:32:15.760
Pain.
01:32:16.079 --> 01:32:16.880
And I just see it.
01:32:17.039 --> 01:32:18.079
Oh that.
01:32:21.119 --> 01:32:23.039
Early boys coming back with the with the whiskey anytime.
01:32:23.439 --> 01:32:23.840
We're on a boat.
01:32:24.000 --> 01:32:27.199
We're on a boat! There's rope there's rope everywhere.
01:32:27.600 --> 01:32:28.800
No, she's a little bit.
01:32:31.680 --> 01:32:32.399
Literally take anything.
01:32:33.680 --> 01:32:34.560
I was like, I don't have a rope.
01:32:34.720 --> 01:32:35.520
I was like, don't have a rope.
01:32:35.760 --> 01:32:36.720
Yes, I'll kill him.
01:32:38.720 --> 01:32:40.239
I no, no, no, he's paralyzed.
01:32:40.319 --> 01:32:41.199
There's nothing that breaks hold.
01:32:41.279 --> 01:32:43.840
It's not like he has to save.
01:32:45.119 --> 01:32:48.399
So she just rolls an intelligent save against this, right?
01:32:48.560 --> 01:32:48.880
Yeah.
01:32:49.840 --> 01:32:51.760
Oh wow, that's a 19 on the dice.
01:32:52.079 --> 01:32:52.720
I wanted him to save.
01:32:52.800 --> 01:32:53.680
I don't want to kill him.
01:32:53.840 --> 01:32:54.000
All right.
01:32:54.159 --> 01:32:55.760
I'm trying to be gentle.
01:32:56.000 --> 01:32:56.319
Okay.
01:32:57.359 --> 01:32:58.960
He yeah, he so he does save.
01:32:59.119 --> 01:33:01.680
No, that usually looks like 2d6.
01:33:02.239 --> 01:33:05.439
Um have, I believe.
01:33:05.680 --> 01:33:08.560
Uh oh no, actually, he takes nothing.
01:33:08.960 --> 01:33:11.760
Target must succeed on intelligence or take.
01:33:12.239 --> 01:33:13.039
Some of his brains are.
01:33:13.520 --> 01:33:16.720
So I was just like, pain, and nothing happens.
01:33:16.800 --> 01:33:17.600
I was like, great.
01:33:17.760 --> 01:33:17.920
Oh.
01:33:18.479 --> 01:33:23.920
Uh and I kind of just like look around and I'm like, see any rope.
01:33:24.239 --> 01:33:27.359
Girl! Whose turn is it?
01:33:27.600 --> 01:33:28.319
It's probably his turn.
01:33:28.560 --> 01:33:29.359
Alright, it's my own.
01:33:29.680 --> 01:33:30.720
It is his turn.
01:33:31.119 --> 01:33:32.079
Yeah, so he can save.
01:33:32.239 --> 01:33:33.119
No, he hasn't had a time.
01:33:34.159 --> 01:33:34.720
He's been just doing it.
01:33:34.960 --> 01:33:35.600
I needed Ilya.
01:33:35.840 --> 01:33:39.359
I needed Ilya to tie him up so that he couldn't save.
01:33:39.600 --> 01:33:40.159
Whoops.
01:33:40.479 --> 01:33:40.640
Alright.
01:33:41.119 --> 01:33:43.840
I will say it would have been a trick to tie him up fully in six seconds.
01:33:44.479 --> 01:33:45.680
No, it would have required a trick.
01:33:46.800 --> 01:33:47.439
You could have got something.
01:33:47.840 --> 01:33:49.840
Ilya's heart is not in hurting this person.
01:33:50.319 --> 01:33:53.359
I didn't want to hurt him! I literally didn't! Just tired of him!
01:33:54.079 --> 01:33:54.960
Oh, so lose.
01:33:55.039 --> 01:33:56.239
He won't save he won't save.
01:33:56.479 --> 01:33:57.520
He won't save.
01:33:58.079 --> 01:33:58.960
He doesn't save.
01:33:59.119 --> 01:33:59.600
He fails.
01:33:59.760 --> 01:34:00.319
Thank God.
01:34:00.880 --> 01:34:01.119
Good.
01:34:01.359 --> 01:34:01.680
Good.
01:34:02.159 --> 01:34:03.600
Now, Ramsay, do something cool.
01:34:03.840 --> 01:34:04.079
Thank you.
01:34:05.279 --> 01:34:06.960
You saved from Mind Sliver, so you got that.
01:34:07.680 --> 01:34:14.720
Yeah, but the So guy Mind Sliver actually, because it carries a rider, which minus is a D4 from any saves.
01:34:14.960 --> 01:34:16.800
So like if he would have failed, it wouldn't be a good one.
01:34:17.439 --> 01:34:19.680
That's why I was like, oh, yeah, any other save.
01:34:20.079 --> 01:34:24.880
But okay, now that it has been his turn, and now that it has saved that he has saved.
01:34:25.199 --> 01:34:25.920
No, he didn't save.
01:34:26.399 --> 01:34:27.680
Or sorry, that he has not saved.
01:34:28.079 --> 01:34:31.520
He has to go through all of you guys, and he has no more opportunity to save.
01:34:32.319 --> 01:34:33.520
We are out of initiative order.
01:34:34.960 --> 01:34:37.279
I just want to, for fairness, does the guy come back?
01:34:37.520 --> 01:34:38.239
Like I don't I don't want to.
01:34:38.800 --> 01:34:39.439
I don't want you to forget.
01:34:40.239 --> 01:34:40.800
Find out next time.
01:34:43.359 --> 01:34:44.399
He did it on purpose.
01:34:45.600 --> 01:34:46.479
It's okay.
01:34:46.640 --> 01:34:48.319
So we'll find out what happens next time.
01:34:48.399 --> 01:34:51.760
But as we come out of initiative order, sorry, buddy.
01:34:53.840 --> 01:34:54.800
Do you want to punch him?
01:34:55.039 --> 01:34:55.840
We can get him.
01:34:56.000 --> 01:34:56.239
Yeah.
01:34:56.560 --> 01:34:58.079
Don't give me a penny punch, dude.
01:34:58.479 --> 01:34:59.039
Just kill him.
01:35:00.159 --> 01:35:01.680
Just kidding, give me a penny punch.
01:35:01.840 --> 01:35:02.399
We can take it back.
01:35:03.039 --> 01:35:03.600
We can take it back.
01:35:04.000 --> 01:35:04.720
We can take it back.
01:35:04.880 --> 01:35:05.840
We can totally take it back.
01:35:06.159 --> 01:35:07.359
I forgot you didn't go.
01:35:09.199 --> 01:35:10.079
But that is gonna be it.
01:35:10.159 --> 01:35:13.920
We'll find out what you guys do with class and his uh paralyzed ass.
01:35:14.960 --> 01:35:15.439
Next time.
01:35:16.399 --> 01:35:20.159
Next time you enjoyed watching as much as we enjoy playing.
01:35:20.319 --> 01:35:20.880
We'll see you next time.
01:35:21.039 --> 01:35:21.520
See you next time.
