The sanctuary is also urging the NY State Fair Birthing Center to end the live birthing demos of dairy cows in 2023. 'The petition is at the bottom of this page: https://woodstocksanctuary.org/woodstock-blog/ourfaircoalition ' The Sanctuary is doing SO much, caring for more than 380 rescued farmed animals, providing tours, educating, offering a fabulous and elegant barn for overnight visitors. And, Woodstock's Rachel McCrystal has a chapter in the thought-provoking new book on Effective Altruism called: The Good It Promises, the Harm It Does: Critical Essays on Effective Altruism, available here: https://amzn.to/3ndih1c We invite the NY State Fair, Tractor Supply or anyone from the animal agriculture industry on at any time. We would love to dialogue with you.
