Nobody teaches you how to run a therapy practice when a hurricane destroys your community.
This week on TwoX Labs, Allison Puryear (Abundance Party founder) and I get brutally honest about what it's really like to keep your practice running when natural disaster hits. Not the sanitized 'resilience' content you see everywhere - the actual messy reality.
We've both been there: I survived Hurricane Ian, Allison dealt with Helene and the flooding aftermath. We're sharing the stuff no practice management course covers:
- How to manage your own trauma while your clients are also traumatized
- What happens to your caseload when half your community is displaced
- The financial realities nobody talks about
- Why your disaster plan probably sucks (and what to do instead)
This isn't about 'bouncing back' - it's about surviving and figuring out how to actually help people when you're also drowning.
Because apparently we need to learn disaster management the hard way.
