PERGAMON | THE ALTAR OF ZEUS

Featuring Dr. Stephen Phinney

Dr. Stephen Phinney unveils a gripping, real historical journey into one of Scripture’s most unsettling locations—Pergamon, the Temple of Hollow Weeny. Each week, you’ll step into the ancient world Yeshua Himself identified as “where Satan’s throne is,” and discover how its dark legacy threads directly into the modern celebration of Halloween.

In this first episode of our Hollow Weeny series, we step into the shadowed heights of ancient Pergamon—home to the massive Altar of Zeus, the very place Yeshua identified as “where Satan’s throne is.” Today, we uncover how this altar became a symbol of the enemy’s oldest ambition: to claim worship through the destruction of innocence. From the ancient world to our modern age, Satan has sought to sacrifice children to the so‑called king of the gods, weaving a dark thread through history that still echoes in today’s cultural celebrations. Part One lays the foundation—exposing the altar, revealing the agenda, and calling the Church to discernment in a season when darkness masquerades as tradition.
