The Unexplained Disappearance of Rico Harris - Case Breakdown

In October 2014, Rico Harris left Southern California to begin a new chapter of his life in Seattle.
He never arrived.
Days later, his abandoned car was discovered in a remote parking area near Cache Creek in Yolo County, California. Inside were his wallet, credit cards, and personal belongings. Nearby, investigators recovered his backpack, cellphone, and a series of photographs and videos showing Rico alive after reaching the area. Witnesses later reported seeing a man matching his unique description walking near the scene, and investigators discovered large footprints leading toward the creek.
Despite helicopters, search dogs, divers, thermal imaging aircraft, and years of investigation, Rico Harris has never been found.
In this episode of **True Crime Unsolved**, Sean Cahill and Myles Reiff examine Rico's remarkable life, his struggles with addiction, his apparent recovery, his plans to start over in Seattle, and the baffling disappearance that has remained unsolved for more than a decade.
Was Rico the victim of an accident after becoming disoriented? Did he voluntarily disappear? Or is there another explanation entirely?
⚠️ **Disclaimer:** This episode discusses an active missing persons case and explores several possible theories based on publicly available information. The theories discussed are speculative unless specifically identified as established fact by law enforcement. True Crime Unsolved does not accuse any individual of wrongdoing, and all persons mentioned are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
