Have you ever wondered what it's really like to work as a holistic coach? Can you build a career helping people improve their health without becoming a doctor, physical therapist, or personal trainer?
In this episode of Time We Discuss, I sit down with holistic coach Fernando Alvarez May to explore a profession that combines strength training, corrective exercise, lifestyle coaching, and wellness into one unique career. Fernando explains how he helps clients improve their movement, reduce pain, sleep better, manage stress, and build healthier lives through personalized coaching.
We discuss how he transitioned from a background in kinesiology and athletics into owning his own coaching business, why mentorship has been more valuable than traditional education, and how he attracts clients primarily through referrals and local SEO instead of social media.
If you're considering a career in health and wellness, fitness, coaching, or entrepreneurship, this episode provides an honest look at the rewards and challenges of building a business centered around helping people feel their best.
