درباره این اپیزود
“We all spend so much time looking for what's right before us, in front of us, inside us. We search for God for ways to be faithful; for something to deliver us from present worry or strife. It's not wasted time. But when we catch a glimpse of God living right where we live, we remember our deliverance has already been sent." ~Excerpt from "What We Wish Were True" ', Tallu Schuyler Quinn Memoir

Welcome Back to the Time to Elevate Podcast!
I’m your host, Ann Lucente, and if this is your first time tuning in—get ready. You’re in for something special.
Today, I get to share the mic with someone whose voice and presence have made a serious mark in the world of storytelling—whether you’ve heard her in an audiobook, caught her in a commercial, or seen her on TV, chances are you’ve experienced her gift.
She’s a celebrated voice actor and actress who’s been performing since she was just four years old. With a BA in Theatre and years of training on the black box stages of New York City, she eventually made the big leap to Los Angeles—where she’s built a career that’s as bold as it is inspiring.
Now living in LA, she’s recorded over 350 audiobook titles—yes, you heard that right—and received two Earphones Awards from Audiofile Magazine, plus a nomination from the Society of Voice Arts and Sciences for
Non-Fiction. Her voice has this way of pulling you in, and honestly—once she starts speaking, you’re hooked. Completely.
And here’s where this episode gets A LITTLE personal—because this incredible woman is not just my guest today. She’s my talented, beautiful cousin. Now I won’t reveal my age, but I will say I used to babysit her back in the day. And I had a front-row seat to her becoming the force she is today.
What people don’t always see behind the scenes is the hustle. The nonstop auditions, the leap of faith when she moved from New York to LA, and the way she never gave up—even when the path wasn’t clear. Her story is all about resilience, reinvention, and trusting the process.
FUN FACT: She is an essayist, a proud mom to a delightful little lady, and to a lovable yellow Lab named Freddy. When she’s not working, you’ll catch her practicing her biking skills, learning Reiki, or— to no surprise here—reading.
So, whether you’re chasing your own dream, standing at a crossroads, or just need a little reminder that your path is unfolding exactly as it should—this one’s for you.
Let’s get into it—with the multi-talented, deeply inspiring, and absolutely radiant Allyson Ryan.
