Introduction!

Ryan: Hey everyone and welcome to the Ryan P. Maillet show. I'm your host, Ryan P. Maillet I'm an author, a dad, a husband. I've written two children's books. first is Walking With You, ⁓ a book of a dad's advice to his son. This is a heartfelt book that I wrote to my son about the wisdom and lessons that I wanted to provide him. It is in rhyme and has some wonderful illustrations. The book is the safe school bus ride, a guide for parents and children. This is about, well you guessed it, school bus safety. I do drive a school bus on occasion as the substitute driver. It's a really wonderful job that I've always enjoyed. I've noticed that parents and children are not always of safety best practices. are involved in a safe school bus ride. Buses are 10-ton massive vehicles that children interact with every day. I think it's incredibly important for parents and children to discuss safety around riding the school bus. this book was made to help foster those discussions school bus and for parents and to really feel confident in ride to and from on the school bus. I also have an upcoming novel that I'll be releasing this summer. It's a psychological horror book that takes place in the mid 1800s And I will be discussing that further in later episodes. So this show will really be about creating awareness for parents and children around school bus safety. and other related topics. It will also serve as a blog to provide updates about my writing ⁓ and projects that I'll working on.
