Missing 411. Unexplained wilderness disappearances. National park missing persons cases with no explanation. These are the cases David Paulides documented that the first video didn't cover — six Missing 411 files from the Bennington Triangle, Yosemite National Park, Mount San Gorgonio, and the Appalachian Trail that investigators still cannot explain.
This episode of The Other Side examines six cases in detail:
▸ The Bennington Triangle — five people who vanished from Glastenbury Mountain in Vermont between 1945 and 1950, including Paula Jean Welden, Middie Rivers, James Tedford, and Frieda Langer. No bodies. No trace. No explanation.
▸ Stacy Ann Arras — an 18-year-old who disappeared in broad daylight at Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite National Park in 1981, last seen walking a short trail with a witness watching her go.
▸ Jared Michael Negrete — a 9-year-old who vanished on a family camping trip at Mount San Gorgonio, California. His backpack, sleeping bag, and camera were found. His body was recovered months later, miles from where he disappeared, in terrain that had already been searched.
▸ Derrick James Engebretson — a young boy who vanished in Winema National Forest during a snowstorm, leaving behind a snow angel and a set of footprints that simply stopped.
▸ David Gonzales — a Missing 411 case consistent with patterns documented across hundreds of unexplained wilderness disappearances.
▸ Geraldine "Gerry" Largay — a 66-year-old hiker who vanished from the Appalachian Trail in Maine in 2013. Her camp was found two years later, just 2,000 feet from a search corridor that had been walked dozens of times.
Slow, hypnotic narration. No speculation. Only documented facts, investigation gaps, and the questions that remain open.
Designed for deep sleep, background listening, study, and late-night research into unsolved mysteries and conspiracy theories.
